Neat and Tangled - Ho Ho Ho

Goodmorning, this is day 5 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag post ik een kersttag die ik heb gemaakt. Ik had namelijk toen ik mijn tags, die afgelopen zondag heb geplaatst, nog één extra tag uit het parelmoer papier over. Inktblenden ziet er heel gaaf uit op dat parelmoer papier en nu wilde ik testen hoe het eruit zou zien als ik een afbeelding met aquarelverf zou inkleuren en dat is echt supergaaf (wat mij betreft dan ;) ). Je ziet door de aquarelverf heen gewoon heel goed dat het parelmoer papier is, dus de hele afbeelding glinstert, echt leuk!! Het is geen overdreven glitter, maar desondanks wel heel moeilijk om goed op de foto te krijgen.
Ik heb op de tag het kerstmannetje van de stempelset Santa's wonderland van Neat and tangle gestempeld. Daarna heb ik nog een tekst van deze stempelset naast de afbeelding gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met Distress inkt. Ik heb de stempeldoosjes op een paletje gedrukt en daarna kon ik er mooi mee kleuren. Voor mijn kerstman heb ik de kleuren Peacock feathers, Tattered rose, Pumice stone, Black soot, Wild honey, Peeled paint, Vintage photo en Candied apple distress inkt gebruikt. Ik heb de ogen en de knopen van mijn kerstman nog gekleurd met de zwarte glaze pen. De tag is gestanst met de Large labels (45.4513) van Leane creatief. Ik heb met een gaatjestang een gaatje boven in mijn tag gemaakt en daar heb ik rood jute touw doorheen gebonden.

Today I am posting a christmas tag that I have made. When I made my tags for my post, that was posted last sunday, I had 1 tag left over from the pearlescent paper. Ink blending looks really amazing on that paper, so for today I wanted to test how it will look when I colour a stamped image with watercolour paint and I really love the result!! The shimmer is still very visible, so the whole image has a pretty shimmer. The shimmer isn't too much, but it was still very difficult to make good pictures. ;)
On the tag I stamped the santa from the stampset  Santa's wonderland from Neat and tangled. Then I also stamped a sentiment from that same set next to the image. Then I coloured the image with my Distress inks. I used the following colours to colour the image: Peacock feathers, Tattered rose, Pumice stone, Black soot, Wild honey, Peeled paint, Vintage photo and Candied apple distress ink. I have used a black glaze pen to colour the eyes and buttons of my santa. The tag is cut with the Large labels (45.4513) from Leane creatief. I added a little hole in the top of the tag with a hole punch and then I threaded red jute thread through the hole.
