Lili of the valley - Happy easter

Hallo, vandaag vlak voor pasen post ik nog even een paaskaartje dat ik heb gemaakt. Ik heb de digitale stempel Lotv easter tree (retired) van Lili of the valley geprint en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 van Crealies. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Easter cuties (retired) van CC. Designs op de afbeelding gestempeld. 

Voor mijn kaart heb ik roze karton gekozen. Ik heb de voorkant van de kaart geëmbost met de Marjoleine's stripes design folder (DF3456) van Marianne design. Ik heb een wit lintje rondom de voorkant van de kaart gebonden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. 

Hello, today, just before Easter, I’m posting an Easter card I made. I printed the digital stamp Lotv easter tree (retired) from Lili of the valley, and then I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen. I die-cut the image using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 from Crealies. I stamped a sentiment from the Easter cuties (retired) from CC. Designs onto the image.

For my card, I chose pink cardstock. I embossed the front of the card using the Marjoleine's stripes design folder (DF3456) from Marianne design. I tied a white ribbon around the front of the card, and then attached the image using foam tape.

Ik heb de afbeelding op een bruine kaart geplakt met foamtape. Als laatste heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Bullet journal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions (Out of business) op mijn kaartje gestempeld.

I mounted the image onto a brown card base using foam tape. Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set Bullet Journal – Tekst Diversen by Craft Emotions (out of business) onto my card.

Hallo, vandaag begint weer de eerste challenge van het jaar op het  As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lili of the valley. Deze keer willen we graag weten voor welke gelegenheid je het liefste kaarten of andere projecten maakt. Ik vind het erg leuk om verjaardags projecten te maken. Door een zelfgemaakte kaart of een klein zelfgemaakt cadeautje kan je een verjaardag extra speciaal maken en dat vind ik erg leuk om te doen.

Voor de challenge van vandaag heb ik een doosje gemaakt waar een reep chocolade in kan. Op het doosje heb ik de digitale stempel Elephant flowers van Lili of the valley gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Slimline C met ruwe randen (CLCZ183) (retired) from Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst die perfect op mijn doosje past. Op het karton heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things (out of business) en Versafine clair Bali blue inkt een wolken achtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op het rechthoek geplakt.

Hello, today the first challenge of the year starts again on the As you like it challenge blog, and this time we are sponsored by Lili of the valley. For this challenge, we would like to know for which occasion you most enjoy making cards or other projects. I really enjoy making birthday projects. With a handmade card or a small handmade gift, you can make a birthday extra special, and I love doing that.

For today’s challenge, I made a little box that can hold a bar of chocolate. On the box, I used the digital stamp Elephant flowers from Lili of the valley. I coloured the image using my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen, and then fussy cut the image.

Using the Slimline C met ruwe randen (CLCZ183) (retired) from Crealies, I die-cut a rectangle from white card that fits perfectly on my box. On the card, I created a cloud background using the Mini Cloud Edges stencil (retired) from My Favorite Things (out of business) and Versafine clair Bali blue ink. I then adhered the image to the rectangle using foam tape.

De tekst heb ik met de Birthday wishes die-namics (retired) van My favorite things (out of business) uit oranje karton gestanst en die heb ik naast de afbeelding op het doosje geplakt.

The sentiment was die-cut from orange card using the Birthday Wishes Die-namics (retired) from My Favorite Things (out of business), and I adhered it next to the image on the box.

Ik heb het doosje gevuld met een lekker reep chocolade.

LIli of the valley - Big hugs

Hallo, vandaag post ik een klein kaartje dat ik heb gemaakt met de digitale stempel Patch and Puss peekaboo van Lili of the valley. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Ik heb een kaartje van rood karton gemaakt en daarna heb ik een vierkant gestanst uit zwart karton met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 128 van Crealies. Ik heb met een stans van de set Cardzz stansen 511 Dubbele kaart 10x10 cm (CLCZ511) van Crealies een vierkant uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb daarna het vierkant gestanst met de Tweed cover plate die van Whimsy stamps, zodat er een leuk patroon op het vierkant komt. Ik heb het witte karton op het zwarte geplakt en daarna heb ik ze beiden met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt. Ik heb met de alfabet set Stencil SL355 (retired) van Studio light de woorden Big hug uit zwart karton gestanst en deze heb ik op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart daarna nog versierd met zwarte puffy hartjes van de stickerset Pegatinas puffy B&N (VVKM000747) (retired) van Kimidori colors. 

Hello, today I am sharing a small card that I made using the digital stamp Patch and Puss peekaboo by Lili of the valley. I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen, and then I fussy cut the image.

I made a card base from red cardstock and then die-cut a square from black cardstock using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 128 from Crealies. Using a die from the set Cardzz stansen 511 Dubbele kaart 10x10 cm (CLCZ511) by Crealies, I die-cut a square from white cardstock. I then die-cut the square with the Tweed cover plate die from Whimsy stamps to create a nice pattern on the square. I adhered the white cardstock to the black cardstock and then attached them both to my card using foam tape. I attached the image to my card with foam tape as well. Using the Stencil SL355 (retired) from Studio light, I die-cut the words “Big hug” from black cardstock and adhered them to the card. I then decorated the card with black puffy hearts from the Pegatinas puffy B&N (VVKM000747) (retired) from Kimidori colors.

Ik heb deze zelfde set gebruikt om mijn tag uit wit karton te stansen. Op de tag heb ik een wolken achtergrond gemaakt met Peacock feathers Distress inkt en het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things (out of business). Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de tag geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de Have a mice day clear stamps (retired) van Lili of the valley op de tag gestempeld. In het hartje van de bloemen heb ik een kristallen hotfix steentje geplakt.

I stamped a sentiment from the Have a mice day clear stamps (retired) from Lili of the valley onto the tag. Finally, I added a crystal hotfix gem to the centres of the flowers.

Hallo, ook al heb ik mijn agenda vorig jaar nauwelijks gebruikt. omdat ik ook nauwelijks kaarten heb gemaakt, heb ik toch weer een nieuwe pagina gemaakt voor mijn blog agenda voor het jaar 2026.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Last minute Manda. We willen graag je favoriete versiering op je kaarten of andere projecten zien. Ik werk al jaren heel graag met hotfix steentjes. Ze zijn makkelijk om te gebruiken en ik heb heel verschillende soorten, hoewel ik het liefste de witte en zwarte steentjes gebruik. Ik vind ze erg leuk op mijn kaarten of andere projecten staan.

Deze keer heb ik een klein doosje gemaakt dat alvast voor kerst is. Ik heb een tijd geleden een kant en klaar pillow boxje gekocht van kraft karton en daarop heb ik een sneeuwman van de clear stempelset Christmas friends (retired) van Lili of the valley gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden. Voor extra details heb ik een Witte Uni Posca pen gebruikt. Ik heb een tekst van de clear stempelset Festive mice and bears (retired) van Lili of the valley op het doosje gestempeld. Daarna heb ik mijn doosje versierd met witte hotfix steentjes. Ik heb ze deze keer als sneeuw gebruikt.

Finally, I decorated my box with white hotfix gems — this time I used them as snow.

Ik maak graag kaarten met een laag (meestal wit) karton en dan aan de onderkant of de zijkant van de kaart een strip met design papier of een kleurtje karton. Hierdoor krijg je veel ruimte en kan je makkelijk een grote afbeelding gebruiken of zelfs een kleine scene maken. 

Ik heb de digitale stempel Jack and Patch with big flower (retired) van Lili of the valley op mijn kaartje gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden. de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Op een stuk wit karton heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things en Versafine clair arctic inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb met een grote rechthoek stans van de set Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 van Crealies een stiklijntje aan de linkerkant van het witte karton gestanst. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de achtergrond geplakt. Ik heb een strip van het roze design papier Watermelon (Dots & flowers) van Dini design op de voorkant van mijn kaart geplakt aan de linkerkant. Vervolgens heb ik het karton met daarop de afbeelding met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Simple script (retired) van Clearly besotted onder de afbeelding gestempeld. 

Hello, today marks the start of a new challenge over on the As you like it challenge blog, and this time our challenge is sponsored by Lawn fawn. This time, we’d love to see your favourite card sketches. I enjoy making cards with a layer of (usually white) cardstock, and then adding a strip of designer paper or coloured cardstock at the bottom or side of the card. This gives you plenty of space, and you can easily use a large image or even create a small scene.

I’ve used the digital stamp Jack and Patch with big flower (retired) from Lili of the valley on my card. I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen. I then cut out the image. On a piece of white cardstock, I created a cloud background using the Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) from My favorite things  and Versafine clair arctic ink. I used a large rectangular die from the Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 from Crealies to die-cut a stitched line along the left-hand side of the white cardstock. I then attached the image to the background using foam tape. I adhered a strip of pink designer paper Watermelon (Dots & Flowers) by Dini Design to the left side of the front of my card. Next, I adhered the piece with the image to my card using foam tape. Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set Simple script (retired) from Clearly besotted underneath the image.

A little present for my aunt

Hallo, mijn tante was jarig en voor haar verjaardag heb ik dit doosje gemaakt met daarin een klein cadeautje. Ik heb het doosje versierd met de digitale stempel Surprise! van Lili of the valley. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Ik heb een doosje gemaakt van wit karton en daarna heb ik op de voorkant van het doosje met een inkt blending brush Versafine clair arctic inkt op het doosje geblend. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op het doosje geplakt. Op de achterkant van het doosje heb ik een klein envelopje geplakt, maar daar heb ik helaas geen foto van. 

Hello, it was my aunt’s birthday and for her birthday I made this little box with a small gift inside. I decorated the box with the digital stamp Surprise! from Lili of the valley. I coloured the image using my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen. I then cut out the image.
I made the box from white cardstock and used a blending brush with Versafine clair arctic ink to blend colour onto the front of the box. I attached the image to the box using foam tape. On the back of the box, I stuck a small envelope, but unfortunately, I don’t have a photo of that.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lawn fawn. Deze keer willen we graag weten of je liever kaarten maakt voor mannen of vrouwen. Ik hou er heel erg van om schattige kaarten te maken of kaarten met bloemen en die passen beter bij meisjes en/of vrouwen dan bij mannen. Dus ik maak liever mijn kaarten voor vrouwen. Ik vind het gewoon veel makkelijker om iets te maken voor een vrouw dan voor een man. 

Voor de challenge heb ik een kaartje gemaakt met de super lieve digitale stempel Bumble bee with flowers van Amanda Jayne designs. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en de Witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Van paars karton heb ik mijn kaart gemaakt met de Double card tag (CLCZ621) van Crealies. Op het witte karton heb ik met Tumbled glass distress inkt en een eigengemaakt stencil een wolken achtergrond gemaakt. Het grasheuveltje heb ik gemaakt met de Grassy hillside stencils van Lawn fawn en Twisted citron, Mowed lawn en Rustic wilderness Distress inkt. Daarna heb ik met een stipjes stempel van de Handletter Rainbow 2 stamp set van Craft Emotions (out of business) op het gras gestempeld. Daarna heb ik ook nog met een witte Posca pen stipjes getekend op het gras. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de achtergrond geplakt. Als laatste heb ik een tekst van de hele oude stempel set Christmas sentiments clear stamps (retired) van Lili of the valley op de kaart gestempeld.

This time we would like to know whether you prefer making cards for men or women. I really enjoy making cute cards or cards with flowers, which are more suited to girls and/or women than to men. So, I prefer making my cards for women. I just find it much easier to create something for a woman than for a man.

I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, Black glaze pen by Sakura, and White Uni Posca pen. I then cut out the image. I created the card from purple cardstock using the Double card tag (CLCZ621) by Crealies. On the white cardstock, I created a cloud background using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and a homemade stencil. I made the grassy hill using the Grassy hillside stencils by Lawn fawn and Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks. Next, I stamped the grass with a dotted stamp from the Handletter Rainbow 2 stamp set by Craft Emotions (out of business). I also added some white Posca pen dots on the grass. I adhered the image to the background using foam tape. Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the very old "Christmas Sentiments Clear Stamps" (retired) set by Lili of the Valley on the card.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het  As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lili of the valley. We willen graag weten of je liever met parels of "juwelen" op je kaartje gebruikt. Het ligt er voor mij heel erg aan wat voor soort kaart ik maak. Is het een elegantere kaart, zou ik eerder voor parels kiezen en bij een schattige kaart kies ik eerder voor juweeltjes. 

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de set Bear hug tags clear stamps (retired) van Lili of the valley. Ik heb 3 tags gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. Daarna heb ik de beertjes uitgeknipt. Ik heb de 3 tags daarna nog een keer op roze gestreept papier van het Dots & stripes pastels paper van Sunny studio stamps gestempeld. Ik heb de tags daarna uitgeknipt en met een tang heb ik een gaatje in de tags gemaakt. Ik heb de beertjes met foamtape op de tags van design papier geplakt. Op de tags heb ik een strikje van zwart borduurgaren geplakt. Op een grote witte kaart heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een lijntje langs de randen van de kaart getekend. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions (Out of business) op de kaart gestempeld. Daarna heb ik de Star cloud van Cats on appletrees meerdere keren op de kaart gestempeld. Ik heb de tags daarna met foamtape op de kaart gestempeld. Met de Snijmallen A6 Snelle kaart (CDSN-0279) van Carlijn design heb ik het kleine bannertje uit het roze papier van het Dots & stripes pastels paper van Sunny studio stamps gestanst. Het hartje uit dezelfde stansset heb ik uit zwart karton gestanst en die heb ik op de banner geplakt.

We would like to know whether you prefer using pearls or "gems" on your card. For me, it really depends on what kind of card I am making. If it’s an elegant card, I would more likely choose pearls, but for a cute card, I would go for gems.

I have made a card using the Bear hug tags clear stamps (retired) by Lili of the valley. I stamped 3 tags and then coloured them with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen by Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen. I then cut out the bears. I stamped the 3 tags again onto pink striped paper from the Dots & stripes pastels paper by Sunny studio stamps. I cut them out and used a hole punch to make holes in the tags. I adhered the bears to the tags made from design paper using foam tape. I added a bow made from black embroidery thread to the tags. On a large white card, I drew a line along the edges of the card with a black fineliner. I stamped a sentiment from the Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen stamp set by Craft Emotions (Out of Business) on the card. Then, I stamped the Star cloud by Cats on appletrees multiple times on the card. I then adhered the tags to the card with foam tape. Using the Snijmallen A6 Snelle kaart (CDSN-0279) by Carlijn design, I die-cut the small banner from the pink paper in the Dots & stripes pastels paper by Sunny studio stamps. I die-cut the little heart from the same die set from black cardstock and attached it to the banner.

My blogging planner 2025

Hallo, ik heb al een aantal jaar een blog agenda waarin ik mijn planning voor mijn blog heb. Zo kan ik precies zien wanneer ik een kaart klaar moet hebben voor een challenge en wanneer ik andere projecten kan inplannen. Ieder jaar maak ik een grote tekening om zo het nieuwe jaar te beginnen. Deze keer heb ik de digitale stempel James with jugg of flowers van Lili of the valley geprint op parelmoer papier. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Molotow sketcher markers. Het is geen echt aquarelpapier, maar toch werkt het redelijk goed, dus ik ben blij met mijn eindresultaat.

Hello, I have had a blog planner for several years where I organise my blog schedule. This way, I can clearly see when I need to have a card ready for a challenge and when I can plan other projects. Every year, I create a large drawing to start the new year. This time, I printed the digital stamp James with jugg of flowers from Lili of the valley onto pearlised paper. I coloured the image with my Molotow sketcher markers. It's not actual watercolour paper, but it works quite well, so I'm happy with the end result.

Advent calendar for my mother - Day 20

Hallo op dag 20 van de advents kalender (klik op het linkje voor alle posts) voor mijn moeder heb ik een een grote cadeau envelop gemaakt. Ik heb de envelop gemaakt van rood karton en hierop heb ik zwart-wit design papier van een oud blok van Craft sensations geplakt. Ik heb daar nog een band rood papier overheen geplakt. 

Ik heb mijn envelop versierd met de digitale stempel Penguin party van Lili of the valley. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en de Witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 van Crealies heb ik een grote rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst. Hierop heb ik Tumbled glass Distress inkt aangebracht en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op het rechthoek geplakt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 56 van Crealies heb ik een geschulpte rechthoek uit rood karton gestanst en hierop heb ik de afbeelding geplakt. Ik heb de rechthoeken daarna met foamtape op de envelop geplakt. Ik heb het getal 20 uit rood karton gestanst met de Retro number trio (retired) van Elizabeth craft designs.

Hello on day 20 from the advent calendar (click on the link for all posts) for my mother I have made a big gift wallet. I made the wallet from red cardstock and added black and white patterned paper from an old paperpad from Craft sensations on it. I also added a large strip of red cardstock.

I have decorated the gift wallet with the digital stamp Penguin party from Lili of the valley. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura and the White Uni Posca pen. I have fussy cut the image. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 from Crealies I have cut a large rectangle from white cardstock. I ink blended Tumbled glass Distress ink on it as a background for the image. I have glued the image with foamtape on the rectangle. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 56 from Crealies I have cut a scalloped rectangle from red cardstock and I glued the image on top of it. I glued them with foamtape on the gift wallet. I used the Retro number trio (retired) from Elizabeth craft designs to cut the number 20 from red cardstock.

Hallo op dag 18 van de advents kalender (klik op het linkje voor alle posts) voor mijn moeder heb ik mijn cadeautje ingepakt in kraft inpakpapier en daarna heb ik mijn cadeautje versierd met een grote tag.

Ik heb een digitale stempel van de Robin collection (retired) van Lili of the valley ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en de Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Met de Big tag (CR1551) van Marianne design heb ik mijn tag gemaakt van rood en zwart karton. Uit wit karton heb ik de steel en blaadjes van de set Wild flower 1 van Elizabeth Craft designs gestanst en daarna heb ik deze gekleurd met Vintage photo, Brushed corduroy, Crushed olive en Peeled paint Distress inkt. Ik heb de tak op mijn tag geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de tag geplakt. Met de Confetti creative cuts van Mama elephant heb ik sterretjes uit wit karton gestanst en daarna heb ik deze rondom de afbeelding op de tag geplakt, Het getal 18 is uit rood karton gestanst met de Retro number trio (retired) van Elizabeth craft designs. Ik heb de tag daarna op mijn cadeautje geplakt.

I have coloured the digital stamp Robin collection (retired) from Lili of the valley with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura and the White Uni Posca pen and then I have fussy cut the image. With the Big tag (CR1551) from Marianne design I have cut my tag from red and black cardstock. I have cut the stem of a flower from white cardstock with the set Wild flower 1 from Elizabeth Craft designs. I have coloured the stem with Vintage photo, Brushed corduroy, Crushed olive and Peeled paint Distress ink and then I glued it on the tag. I have glued the image with foamtape on the tag. I have cut a couple of stars from white cardstock with the Confetti creative cuts from Mama elephant and glued those around the image. I have cut the number 18 from red cardstock with the Retro number trio (retired) from Elizabeth craft designs and added it on the tag.
