Whimsy stamps - Holly jolly tag

Hallo, vandaag post ik een tag die ik heb gemaakt met de digitale stempel die vanaf maandag als freebie te krijgen is van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de Penguin Claus (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt.

Ik heb een tag gemaakt van vellum. Dat ziet er in het echt heel leuk uit, maar is helaas zo moeilijk om mooi op de foto te krijgen. Ik heb de tag gestanst met de Mini slim tag die set (WSD343a) van Whimsy stamps uit vellum papier. Met witte acrylverf heb ik verfspatjes op de vellum tag aangebracht. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 21 van Crealies heb ik 2 cirkels uit zwart en rood karton gestanst en deze heb ik op de tag geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de grote zwarte cirkel geplakt. Op de kleinere rode cirkel heb ik een tekst van de set Holiday mini sentiments (CWSD186) van Whimsy stamps gestempeld. Ik heb kleine sterretjes uit rood karton gestanst met de Star confetti die van Alexandra Renke en die heb ik op de tag geplakt. 

Hello, today I am posting a tag that I have made with a freebie digital stamp from Whimsy stamps. I have coloured the Penguin Claus (digital stamp) from Whimsy stamps with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the image. 

I have made my tag from vellum paper. I really love the look of it but it is really hard to take a nice picture of it. I have die-cut the tag with the Mini slim tag die set (WSD343a) from Whimsy stamps from vellum paper. I have added tiny paint splatters on the tag with white acrylic paint. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 21 from Crealies I have die-cut 2 circles from red and black cardstock and I glued them both on the tag. I have added the image with foamtape on the larger black circle. On the smaller red circle I have stamped a sentiment from the set Holiday mini sentiments (CWSD186) from Whimsy stamps. I have cut a couple of stars from red cardstock with the Star confetti die from Alexandra Renke and glued those on the tag.

Isa Down - Loose florals in ink

Goedemorgen, een tijdje geleden ben ik lid geworden van Skillshare. Ik heb daar een les gevolgd van Isa Down. In deze les leer je een cowboy poppy tekenen en daarna kleur je hem ook nog in met aquarelverf. 

Voor mijn kaartje van vandaag heb ik besloten om alleen de zwart-wit versie te gebruiken. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 130 van Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst en daarop heb ik eerst met potlood mijn klaproos getekend. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding overgetrokken met zwarte fineliners in verschillende maten. Naast de afbeelding heb ik een kleine tekst van de set Simple script van Clearly besotted gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op een rode kaart geplakt. 

Goodmorning, a while ago I became a member of Skillshare. On skillshare I have followed a lesson from Isa Down. In that lesson we were learning how to draw a cowboy poppy with ink and then we coloured it with watercolours.

For my card I decided to go for a black and white poppy only. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 130 from Crealies I have cut a rectangle from white cardstock and then I started drawing the poppy on it with a pencil. After I was done I traced the image with black fineliners in different sizes. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Simple script from Clearly besotted on the rectangle. I have glued the image with foamtape on a red card.

Hallo, vandaag post ik een kerstkaart voor Whimsy stamps. Ik heb een digitale stempel gebruikt die verkrijgbaar is als freebie. Ik heb de Penguin Claus (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Uit wit karton heb ik met de Mini slim rounded stitched die set (WSD300a) van Whimsy stamps een rechthoek gestanst waarop ik met zwarte en groene inkt kleine verfspatjes heb aangebracht. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op het rechthoek geplakt. Naast de afbeelding heb ik een tekst gestempeld van de set Everyday scripted sentiments (CWSD155) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb een slimline kaart gemaakt van rood karton. Op de linkerkant van de kaart heb ik groen geruit papier van het Mix-n-match 1 paperpack van Whimsy stamps geplakt. Ik heb de witte rechthoek met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een klein bannertje uit rood karton gestanst met een stans van de set Quick strips die set van Whimsy stamps. Nadat ik de banner op de kaart heb geplakt, heb ik deze versierd met een witte enamel dot. 

Hello, today I am posting a christmas card that I have made for Whimsy stamps. I have used an image that is available as a freebie. I have coloured the Penguin Claus (digital stamp) from Whimsy stamps with my Polychromos pencils and a black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the image. From white cardstock I have cut a rectangle panel with the Mini slim rounded stitched die set (WSD300a) from Whimsy stamps. I have added paint splatters on the white rectangle with black and green ink. I have glued the image with foamtape on the card. I stamped a sentiment on it from the set Everyday scripted sentiments (CWSD155) from Whimsy stamps. I have made a mini slimline card from red cardstock. I glued green patterned paper from the Mix-n-match 1 paperpack from Whimsy stamps on the left part of the card. I glued the white rectangle with foamtape on the card I have cut a little banner from red cardstock with the help of a die from the Quick strips die set from Whimsy stamps. After I glued it on my card, I decorated it with a white enamel dot.

Di's digi designs challenge - Anything but a card

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag een ander project dan een kaartje zien. Ik heb er voor gekozen om een tag te maken met mijn favoriete stansset.

Op mijn tag heb ik de afbeelding Bee mine mice van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb mijn tag uit roze en wit karton gestanst met de Tag along dies van Heffy doodle. Op het witte gedeele van de tag heb ik met het Micro cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeelding op de achtergrond geplakt en daarna heb ik het roze kader op de tag geplakt. Naast de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Scribble it (retired) van Clearly besotted gestempeld. Ik heb het kleine bijtje van de afbeelding vlak boven de tekst geplakt. 

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog and this time we want to see anything else than a card. I decided to make a tag for this challenge, because it was the perfect excuse to use my favourite tag die set again. 

On my tag I have used the digital stamp Bee mine mice from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have cut my tag from white and pink cardstock with the set Tag along dies from Heffy doodle. On the white part of the tag I have applied a cloudy background with the Micro cloud edges stencil (retired) from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. I have glued the image on the background and then I glued the pink frame on the tag. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Scribble it (retired) from Clearly besotted next to the image. I glued the little bee from the image just above the sentiment.

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lee Holland art. We willen graag weten waar je voorkeur naar uit gaat: Vacht, veren of schubben. Ik houd persoonlijk van dieren met een vacht, gewoon omdat het zo fijn is om een lieve hond of kat te aaien. Helaas ben ik zelf allergisch, dus geen huisdieren voor mij, maar als ik ergens ben waar wel een dier is, kan ik het niet laten om toch even te aaien.

Voor deze challenge heb ik een kleine cadeauverpakking gemaakt. Ik heb dit schattige katje van de stempelset Cupid cutie (retired) van Clearly besotted op aqaurelpapier gestempeld met Versafine clair nocturne inkt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met Distress inkt en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb de ballon gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen.

Ik heb een doosje gemaakt met de stans Paper baggie Cutting dies (KJ.BBKJ.CD190) van Studio light. Het is eigenlijk een zakje maar ik heb het als doosje gebruikt. Ik het doosje gemaakt van zwart papier uit het Let's party paperpad van Action. Uit wit karton heb ik 2 cirkels gestanst. De scallop cirkel heb ik gekleurd met Picked raspberry Distress inkt. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna met foamtape op de cirkel geplakt. Ik heb een mini strikje van wit lint gemaakt en dat heb ik onder de afbeelding op het doosje geplakt. Ik heb ook nog een strikje van wit lint om mijn cadeautje gebonden.

Unfortunately I am allergic, so I can't have my own pets, but when I visiting somewhere where there is a dog or cat, I just have to pet them. 

I have made a little present for this challenge. I have stamped the cute cat from the set Cupid cutie (retired) from Clearly besotted with Versafine clair nocturne ink on watercolour paper and then I embossed the image with clear embossingpowder. I have coloured the image with my Distress inks and the black glaze pen. I coloured the ballon with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen and then I have fussy cut the image.

I have made a box with the die set Paper baggie Cutting dies (KJ.BBKJ.CD190) from Studio light. It is actually a bag but I decided to use it as a box. I have made the box from black paper from the Let's party paperpad from Action. I have cut 2 circles from white cardstock and coloured the scalloped circle with Picked raspberry Distress ink. After I glued the circles on the box I added the image with foamtape. I made a little bow from white ribbon and glued it under the image on the box. I also added a bow from white ribbon on the lid of my present.

Deze keer heb ik een slimline verjaardagskaart gemaakt met de grappige kikkers van de set AIFROgabet (clear stamps) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb een aantal kikkers gestempeld en ze daarna ingekleurd met Distress inkt. Ik heb de afbeeldingen daarna uitgeknipt en de letters die ook in de stempelset zitten, heb ik daarna op de ballonnen gestempeld. Met de Mini slim tag die set (WSD343a) van Whimsy stamps heb ik 5 kleine tags uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb op de tags een achtergrond aangebracht met het Dotty 6x9 stencil (WSS110c) van Whimsy stamps en Picked raspberry, Carved pumpkin, Mustard seed, Mowed lawn en Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Ik heb de afbeeldingen daarna met foamtape op de tags geplakt. Ik heb aan alle tags een strikje van zwart borduurgaren gebonden. Uit kraft papier heb ik het grote rechthoek van de set Slimline card builder die van Whimsy stamps gestanst. Ik heb het op kraft papier geplakt en daarna heb ik ze samen op een witte slimline kaart geplakt. 

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new card that I have made for Whimsy stamps. This time I have made a slimline birthday card with the funny frogs from the set AIFROgabet (clear stamps) from Whimsy stamps. I have stamped a couple of frogs and then I coloured them with my Distress inks. I have fussy cut all the images and then I stamped the letters that are also in the stamp set on the balloons. With the Mini slim tag die set (WSD343a) from Whimsy stamps I have cut 5 tags little tags from white cardstock. On the tags I added dots with the Dotty 6x9 stencil (WSS110c) from Whimsy stamps and Picked raspberry, Carved pumpkin, Mustard seed, Mowed lawn and Peacock feathers Distress ink. I glued all the image with foamtape on the tags. I tied a little bow from black embroidery thread on all the tags. I have cut a slimline panel from kraft cardstock with the Slimline card builder die from Whimsy stamps. I glued it on top of a black rectangle and then they were glued on a white slimline card. 

Ik wilde de binnenkant van mijn kaart ook graag versieren en toen ik daar klaar mee was, vond ik die zo leuk geworden dat ik ook nog 2 slimline kaarten heb gemaakt met de binnenkant van de kaart als voorkant van die kaarten. :) Deze kaarten heb ik vorige week al gepost. 

Ik heb met het Dotty 6x9 stencil (WSS110c) van Whimsy stamps cirkels gemaakt op de binnenkant van de kaart met Picked raspberry, Carved pumpkin, Mustard seed, Mowed lawn en Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Ik heb de inkt vrij licht aangebracht, zodat je er makkelijk overheen kunt schrijven. Met de Cutie ABC die set van Whimsy stamps heb ik de tekst uit zwart karton gestanst en die heb ik in de kaart geplakt. Rondom de tekst heb ik kleine sterretjes gestempeld met een stempel van de set AIFROgabet (clear stamps) van Whimsy stamps. 

I wanted to decorate the inside of my card and when I was done with it, I thought it looked so nice, that I used this idea to make 2 new slimline cards that I posted last week.

With the Dotty 6x9 stencil (WSS110c) from Whimsy stamps I made dots on the inside of the card with Picked raspberry, Carved pumpkin, Mustard seed, Mowed lawn and Peacock feathers Distress ink. I didn't make it too dark, so you can still write a message on top of the dots. With the Cutie ABC die set from Whimsy stamps I have cut a sentiment (congratulations) from black cardstock and I glued it inside the card. I have stamped with a little star stamp from the set AIFROgabet (clear stamps) from Whimsy stamps around the sentiment.

Alexis Cantu watercolours - Painting a toucan

Hallo, afgelopen vrijdag heb ik een nieuwe workshop van Alexis Cantu Watercolor op facebook gevolgd. Deze keer gingen we een toekan schilderen. Tijdens de workshop had ik meerdere momenten dat ik eigenlijk het liefste wilde opgeven, omdat ik het best moeilijk vond. Ik ben dan ook heel blij dat ik toch door ben gegaan. Er zijn echt wel wat verbeterpuntjes, maar uiteindelijk ben ik tevreden met mijn resultaat. Ik denk wel dat ik de toekan gewoon nog een keer ga doen en dan proberen of ik mijn foutjes kan voorkomen. ;) Maar het belangrijkste is dat het uiteindelijk toch erg leuk was om te doen!

Ik heb de schets overgetrokken op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano en daarna heb ik geschilderd met de Van Gogh watercolours van Royal Talens. 

Hello, last friday I have followed a live workshop from Alexis Cantu Watercolor on facebook. This time we have painted a toucan. During the workshop I wanted to stop several times, because it was difficult for me. So I am really happy that I didn't sop and went on. I did make a couple of mistakes, but in the end I am pretty satisfied with the result. I really want to do the workshop again and try to avoid those mistakes. ;) But the most important thing: It was real fun to do!

I have traced the sketch on the 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano and painted with Van Gogh watercolours from Royal Talens.

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik twee slimline kaarten die ik heb gemaakt voor Whimsy stamps. Ik heb op eentje een Engelse tekst gebruikt en op de andere kaart een Nederlandse tekst. 

Ik heb uit wit karton een rechthoek gestanst met de Slimline card builder die from Whimsy stamps. Op dit rechthoek heb ik met het Dotty 6x9 stencil (WSS110c) van Whimsy stamps en Picked raspberry, Carved pumpkin, Mustard seed, Mowed lawn en Peacock feathers Distress inkt een vrolijke achtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb het rechthoek op zwart karton geplakt en daarna heb ik de rechthoeken samen op een witte slimline kaart geplakt. Met de Cutie ABC die set van Whimsy stamps heb ik de teksten allebei drie keer uit zwart karton gestanst. Ik heb de letters op elkaar geplakt en daarna heb ik de tekst op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes.

I have die-cut a rectangle from white cardstock with the Slimline card builder die from Whimsy stamps. On the rectangle I have made a background with the Dotty 6x9 stencil (WSS110c) from Whimsy stamps and Picked raspberry, Carved pumpkin, Mustard seed, Mowed lawn and Peacock feathers Distress ink. I have glued the rectangle on a rectangle from black cardstock and then I glued them together on a white slimline card. With the Cutie ABC die set from Whimsy stamps I have die-cut both sentiments three times. I have glued the letters on top of each other and then I glued the sentiments on the cards. The cards are decorated with black hotfix gems.

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een nieuw projectje dat ik heb gemaakt voor Whimsy stamps. Deze keer heb ik een tag gemaakt met daarop de afbeelding Spring lamb (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Ik heb de tag uit wit en rood karton gestanst met de Mini slim tag die set (WSD343a) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb van de rode tag alleen het onderste deel gebruikt en dat heb ik op de witte tag geplakt. Op de witte tag heb ik met Tumbled glass distress inkt een achtergrond voor mijn afbeelding aangebracht. Daarna heb ik met het It's cloudy - 6x9 stencil (WSS107c) van Whimsy stamps wat extra wolken op de tag aangebracht. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de tag geplakt. Op een stukje wit karton heb ik een tekst van de set Everyday mini sentiments clear stamps van Whimsy stamps gestempeld en daarna heb ik de tekst uitgestanst met een stans van de set Slimline ATC window die van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de tekst op de tag geplakt.

I have die-cut the tag from white and red cardstock with the Mini slim tag die set (WSD343a) from Whimsy stamps. I have only used the bottom part of the red tag and I glued it on the white tag. With Tumbled glass distress ink I have applied a background for my image on the white tag. With the It's cloudy - 6x9 stencil (WSS107c) from Whimsy stamps I added a couple of clouds on the tag. I have glued the image with foamtape on the tag. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Everyday mini sentiments clear stamps from Whimsy stamps on white cardstock and then I have die-cut the sentiment with a die from the set Slimline ATC window die from Whimsy stamps. I have glued the sentiment under the image.

Di's digi designs challenge - It's christmas in july again

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag een kerstkaartje zien. Ik heb op mijn kaartje de digitale stempel Chilly Charlie deer van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Ik heb de zijkanten van een stuk rood karton gestanst met een stans van de set Scallop borders van Pretty pink posh. Ik heb een wit koordje rondom het rode karton gebonden en daarna heb ik het rode karton met foamtape op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. De kaart is versierd met witte sneeuwblok stickers. Met het Punch die - Alphabet (CR1594) van Marianne design heb ik de tekst uit wit karton gestanst en deze heb ik onder het koordje op de kaart geplakt. 

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog and this time we want to see christmas cards. I have made a card with the digital stamp Chilly Charlie deer from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. 

I have die-cut the sides of red cardstock with a die from the set Scallop borders from Pretty pink posh. I tied a white cord around it and then I glued the red cardstock with foamtape on a white card. I added the image on the card with foamtape. Around the image I have added some white snowflake stickers. The sentiment is cut with the Punch die - Alphabet (CR1594) from Marianne design from white cardstock. I have added the sentiment under the cord on the card.

As you like it challenge 237 - Cool or warm colours

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt onze challenge gesponsord door Lili of the valley. Deze keer willen we graag weten of je liever met warme of koude kleuren werkt. Voor mij hangt dit heel erg van het project en de gelegenheid waarvoor dit bedoelt is. Vandaag ben ik juist voor de warme kleuren gegaan, ze passen goed bij het lekkere weer van deze tijd en ik word vrolijk van deze kleuren. 

Ik had toen ik aan mijn opdracht voor deze challenge moest beginnen stiekem veel meer zin om zelf iets te tekenen en te schilderen dan om een kaartje te maken. Gelukkig kwam ik op youtube een hele gave tutorial van Miss Nice day tegen en kreeg ik het idee om één van haar zonnebloemen te gebruiken voor op een kaartje. Zo kon ik toch zelf tekenen en toch was ik een kaartje aan het maken. Daarom heb ik met een potlood op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano een zonnebloem getekend met een potlood. Ik heb hiervoor de tutorial Sonnenblumen in Aquarell malen mit Brushpens op youtube gevolgd. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Tombow ABT Dual brush markers. Na het kleuren heb ik de afbeelding gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 130 van Crealies. Daarna heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Mini messages (retired) van Clearly besotted naast mijn afbeelding gestempeld. Ik heb het rechthoek met foamtape op een kaart geplakt die ik van hetzelfde aquarelpapier heb gemaakt. Ik heb de kaart daarna versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes.

This time we want to know if you prefer working with warm or cool colours. For me it really depends on the project and the occasion I am making something for. Today I went for warm colours, because they are perfect for the nice weather that we are having now and they make me happy. 

I have to admit that when I needed to start working on my project for this challenge, I didn't feel like making a card but instead  I wanted to draw something and play with watercolours. So I was really happy when I saw this amazing tutorial from Miss Nice day on youtube, because now I was able to draw one of her sunflowers and make a card out of it. So I have drawn a sunflower with pencil on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano following the tutorial Sonnenblumen in Aquarell malen mit Brushpens on youtube. I have coloured the image with the Tombow ABT Dual brush markers. I have die-cut the sunflower with a die from the set Crea-nest-lies XXL 130 from Crealies. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Mini messages (retired) from Clearly besotted on the rectangle. I have made a card from the watercolour paper and glued the rectangle with foamtape on the card. I added a couple of black hotfix gems to decorate the card. 

Toen mijn kaartje klaar was, had ik toch nog zin om verder te tekenen en dus heb ik nog 2 tags gemaakt met de zonnebloemen van Miss Nice day erop. Ik heb uit het aquarelpapier de  Tag along dies van Heffy doodle gestanst en hierop heb ik een kleine zonnebloem getekend en geschilderd. Ook hier heb ik een tekst toegevoegd en wat zwarte hotfix steentjes. 

When my card was finished, I still wanted to draw a little bit more, so I decided to make 2 tags with the sunflowers from Miss Nice day on them. I have die-cut the Tag along dies from Heffy doodle from watercolour paper and I have drawn and painted a sunflower on top of it. Again I added a sentiment and black hotfix gems on my project. 

Daarna wilde ik nog een lange tag maken en daarvoor heb ik een tag uit het aquarelpapier gestanst met de Long tags (CR1510) van Marianne design. Ik heb er weer een zonnebloem op geschilderd. Deze keer heb ik een andere tekst van de stempelset Mini messages (retired) van Clearly besotted gebruikt. 

Then I wanted to make a long tag and I used the Long tags (CR1510) from Marianne design to cut it from the watercolour paper. Again I painted a sunflower on it. This time I used another sentiment from the set Mini messages (retired) from Clearly besotted.
