Memory dex - Remember to stop & smell the flowers

Hallo, ik heb weer een nieuw kaartje gemaakt voor mijn Memory dex. Dat blijft toch erg leuk om te doen. Ik heb de digitale stempel Bear with flowers - Tulips van Blackberry jelly's (no longer in business) ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb het basiskaartje uit wit karton gestanst met de Cutting Die Rolodex - no.2 van Vaessen Creative en de laag erop is uit paars ruitjespapier van het Essentials paperpad brights van Studio light gestanst. Ik heb een tekst van de set Posy plushies (retired) van Clearly besotted op wit karton gestempeld. Ik heb de tekst daarna uitgestanst met de Verticale banners stitching van Carlijn Design. Ik heb de banner op mijn kaartje geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape over de banner geplakt met foamtape. Ik heb het kaartje versierd met witte mini parels. 

Hello, I have made a new card for my Memory dex. I still enjoy making these. I have coloured the digital stamp Bear with flowers - Tulips from Blackberry jelly's (no longer in business) with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. I have cut the base card from white cardstock with the Cutting Die Rolodex - no.2 from Vaessen Creative. I cut the layer from purple paper from the Essentials paperpad brights from Studio light. On white cardstock I have stamped a sentiment from the stamp set Posy plushies (retired) from Clearly besotted. Then I have cut the sentiment with a die from the set Verticale banners stitching from Carlijn Design. I first glued the banner on the card and then I glued the image with foamtape on the card. I have decorated the card with white pearls.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze week worden we gesponsord door Lili of the valley. Deze keer willen we weten waar je liever mee werkt op je kaartje: ruitjespapier of bloemen papier. Ik ben zelf erg gek op ruitjespapier, ik gebruik het alleen niet vaak, maar deze challenge was de perfecte gelegenheid om vandaag wel ruitjespapier te gebruiken. Ruitjespapier vind ik net iets makkelijker om te gebruiken en het komt meestal wat rustiger over dan bloemenpapier.

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de digitale stempel Holly bear van Amanda Jayne designs. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een witte kaart heb ik rood ruitjespapier van het Red devil paper (retired) van Bazzil basics geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Met de Prettige kerstdagen stans (115633/0021) van Craft emotions heb ik de tekst drie keer uit zwart karton gestanst en nadat ik de woorden op elkaar heb geplakt, heb ik zo op de kaart naast de afbeelding geplakt. 

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and this week we are being sponsored by Lili of the valley. This time we would like to know if you prefer working with gingham or floral paper. I really love using gingham paper, although I don't use it very often, but this challenge was the perfect occasion to use it on my card. I think gingham paper is easier to use than the busier looking floral patterns.

I have glued the words on top of each other and then I added the sentiment on the card.

Hallo, voor World watercolour maand heb ik weer een nieuwe tekening in de stijl van Anastasia Salinger - Handgemalt gemaakt. Ook deze keer heb ik een tutorial gevolgd uit het boek Watercolor - Florale Motive aus Wiese, Wald & Garten mit Aquarell und Fineliner van Anastasia Salinger. Net zoals de vorige keren heb ik de tekening gemaakt in het Leporello aquarel boek van Art by Marlene. Na het schetsen heb ik mijn lavendel bosje weer overgetrokken met een zwarte fineliner. Ik heb deze keer een wat dikkere pen gebruikt en was heel bang dat ik mijn tekening daarmee heb verpest, maar dat viel gelukkig mee. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met de La petite aquarelle travelbox van Sennelier. 

Hello, for World watercolour month I have made a new drawing following a tutorial from Anastasia Salinger - Handgemalt. I have done the lavender tutorial from the book Watercolor - Florale Motive aus Wiese, Wald & Garten mit Aquarell und Fineliner from Anastasia Salinger. Just like my other drawings I have made my drawing in the Leporello watercolour book from Art by Marlene. After sketching the lavender I traced the image with a black fineliner. For a moment I was scared I had ruined my drawing, because I used a pretty thick fineliner, but it turned out ok. I have coloured the flower with paint from the La petite aquarelle travelbox from Sennelier.

Di's digi designs challenge blog - Animals acting like humans

 

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we op je kaart graag dieren zien die zich gedragen als mensen.

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Woodland tea van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de black glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 118 van Crealies heb ik de onderkant van de afbeelding uitgestanst en daarnaast ook nog een rechthoek van wit karton. Op de rechthoek heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de achtergrond geplakt. Met een rode fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van de kaart getekend en daarna heb ik blauw karton op de kaart geplakt. Vervolgens heb ik de rechthoek met afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Op het gras heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Sunshine friends (retired) van My favorite things gestempeld.

I have made a card with the digital stamp Woodland tea from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 118 from Crealies I have cut the bottom part of the image and also a rectangle from white cardstock. I have fussy cut the upper part of the image. On the rectangle I have made a background with the Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. I have glued the image with foamtape on the background. On a white card I have drawn lines around the edges of the card with a red fineliner. I have glued blue cardstock on the card and then I glued the rectangle with the image with foamtape on the card. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Sunshine friends (retired) from My favorite things on the grass below the image.

Hallo, ik heb voor World watercolour maand weer een nieuwe bloementekening gemaakt in mijn leporello boekje in de stijl van Anastasia Salinger - Handgemalt. Deze keer heb ik een tutorial uit het boek Watercolor - Florale Motive aus Wiese, Wald & Garten mit Aquarell und Fineliner van Anastasia Salinger gevolgd. Ik ben begonnen met een potloodschets, daarna heb ik de afbeelding overgetrokken met zwarte fineliners in verschillende maten. Ik heb gewerkt in een Leporello aquarel boek van Art by Marlene. Daar kun je aquarelverf in gebruiken, maar het is zeker niet het beste aquarelpapier. Het maken van mooi vlekken lukte niet helemaal goed daardoor. Ik heb de afbeelding gekleurd met de La petite aquarelle travelbox van Sennelier.

Hello, I have made a new flower drawing for World watercolour month in my leporello book that I am going to fill with flowers made from tutorials from Anastasia Salinger - Handgemalt. This time I followed a tutorial from the book Watercolor - Florale Motive aus Wiese, Wald & Garten mit Aquarell und Fineliner from Anastasia Salinger. I started with a pencil sketch, then I traced the image with black fineliners in different sizes. I worked in my Leporello watercolour book from Art by Marlene. You can use your watercolours in this book, but it is not the best watercolour paper. Because of that the making of pretty stains was a bit hard. I have coloured the flowers with the La petite aquarelle travelbox from Sennelier.

Alexis Cantu - Beterschap

Hallo, vandaag post ik een kaartje dat ik heb gemaakt met een tekening die ik heb gemaakt na het volgen van een tutorial van Alexis Cantu. De tutorial van de vlinder is momenteel niet online te vinden. Ik heb de tekening van de vlinder gemaakt op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano. De tekening is niet heel groot, want ik had hem gemaakt voor een inchie challenge. Ik heb mijn vlinder gekleurd met Van Gogh aquarelverf van Royal Talens en daarna heb ik de vlinder uitgeknipt.

Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 128 van Crealies heb ik een vierkant uit wit karton gestanst. Hierop heb ik met het Mask art grunge stencil van Dutch doobadoo en Spiced marmelade, Carved pumpkin en Crackling campfire Distress inkt een cirkel gemaakt. Ik heb de vlinder op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik een tekst van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions op de kaart gestempeld. Met de Confetti stempel van Cats on appletrees heb ik kleine verfspatjes op de kaart gestempeld.

Hello, today I am posting a card that I have made with a drawing that I have made after I followed a tutorial from Alexis Cantu. The butterfly tutorial isn't available on the internet at the moment. I have made my drawing on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano. It is just a little drawing, because I have made it for an inchie challenge. I have coloured the butterfly with the Van Gogh watercolours from Royal Talens and then I have fussy cut the image. 

With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 128 from Crealies I have cut a square from white cardstock. On the square I have made an orange circle with the Mask art grunge stencil from Dutch doobadoo and Spiced marmelade, Carved pumpkin and Crackling campfire Distress ink. I have glued the butterfly on the circle. I stamped a sentiment (get well) from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions on the card. With the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees I have stamped some paint splatters on the card.

Hallo, vandaag post ik een tekening die ik vorige week al heb gemaakt voor World watercolour maand. Ik heb het al eerder geschreven. Ik houd heel erg van de stijl van tekenen van Anastasia Salinger - Handgemalt. Ze heeft heel veel mini tutorials van bloemen en het leek me leuk om een aantal tutorials te volgen. Ik maak de tekeningen in een Leporello aqaurel boek van Art by Marlene om ze zo allemaal bij elkaar te houden. Ik heb eerst een schets gemaakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding overgetrokken met zwarte fineliners. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met Schmincke aquarelverf. Als laatste heb ik nog wat accentjes aangebracht met een witte gelpen.

She has a lot of mini tutorials for flowers and I thought it would be fun to follow a couple of tutorials. I am making my drawings in a Leporello watercolour book from Art by Marlene, so they all will be together. I first started with a sketch and then I traced the tulip with black fineliners. I have coloured the tulip with Schmincke watercolours. Finally I added some accents on it with a white gelpen.

Hallo, het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe post voor World watercolour maand. Ik heb een tutorial van Helen Campbell gevolgd. Ik heb de Unleashing the magic of Inktense: Painting a vibrant yellow flower op youtube gedaan.

De schets is overgetrokken op Classic watercolour paper Grain fin Jumbo Blok 300gr van Winsor & Newton. Ik heb de bloem daarna gekleurd met mijn Derwent inktense potloden. De techniek die Helen gebruikt is erg makkelijk en heel leuk om te doen!

I have traced the sketch on Classic watercolour paper Grain fin Jumbo Blok 300gr from Winsor & Newton. I have coloured the flower with my Derwent inktense pencils. I really love the technique Helen uses because it is very easy and so much fun to do!

Hallo, eindelijk post ik weer iets voor World watercolour maand. De afgelopen week was erg druk en het posten lukt niet altijd. Maar vandaag kan ik eindelijk de kaart posten die ik heb gemaakt na het volgen van een tutorial op Skillshare. Ik heb een cursus van Brenda Bakker gevolgd waarin je met procreate werkt. De cursus Create sketchy doodles in procreate was heel leuk om te doen en het leek me ook leuk om een soortgelijke bloem te tekenen op echt papier in plaats van op de ipad.

Ik ben begonnen met een schets met potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding overgetrokken met zwarte fineliners. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding gekleurd met de Wax aquarell potloden van Koh-I-Noor. Als laatste heb ik nog wat extra accenten op de afbeelding aangebracht met zwarte en witte Uni Posca pennen. Ik heb de tulp daarna uitgeknipt. 

Op een roze kaart heb ik zwart-wit streepjespapier van het Positive vibes paperpad van Craft sensations geplakt. Ik heb de tulp daarna met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Uit wit karton heb ik het woord hello gestanst met de Many sentiments coverplate dies van The ton stamps en deze heb ik naast de tulp op de kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik de kaart versierd met kleine witte pareltjes.

Hello, finally I am able to post something again for World watercolour month. Last week has been really busy and I wasn't able to post anything. So I am really happy that I can post the card that I made after following a tutorial on Skillshare. I have followed a class from Brenda Bakker that uses procreate on your ipad. The class Create sketchy doodles in procreate was so much fun and I thought it would be fun to create a flower on paper in the same style you use in this class.

I started a sketch with my pencils and then I traced the image with black fineliners. Then I used the Wax aquarell pencils from Koh-I-Noor to colour the tulip. I added some extra accents on the drawing with white and black Uni Posca pens. I have fussy cut the tulip. 

On a pink card I have glued black and white striped paper from the Positive vibes paperpad from Craft sensations. Then I used foamtape to glue the tulip on the card. From white cardstock I have cut the word hello with the Many sentiments coverplate dies from The ton stamps and then I glued it on the card. I have decorated the card with tiny white pearls.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze week worden we gesponsord door Dies to die for. Voor de challenge deze week willen we graag weten of je een groot fan bent van het strand tijdens je vakantie of juist niet. Ik houd heel erg van het strand en de zee, maar niet om in de zee te zwemmen of voor het zonnebaden. Ik hou er wel van om op het strand te wandelen en dan heerlijk genieten van de wind. Het wordt zelfs nog mooier als het echt hard waait en stormachtig is. Toch hoop ik ook nog op een dag een mooie tropische zee te zien met echt mooi blauw water. 

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de stempelset Sunny day play van Clearly besotted stamps. Ik heb de strandhuisjes en de golven rechtstreeks op de voorkant van een kaart gestempeld. Daarna heb ik de nijlpaardjes op een apart stukje wit karton gestempeld. Daarna heb ik alles gekleurd met mijn Prismacolor premier potloden. I heb de ogen van de nijlpaarden gekleurd met de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik met een witte gelpen kleine accentjes op de afbeeldingen getekend.

For our challenge we would like to know if you are a big fan of the beach on your holiday or not. I love the beach and sea, but not for swimming or sunbathing. I love to walk on the beach and feel the wind. It is even better when the wind is getting really hard. One day I would love to see a tropical sea with pretty blue water. 

I have made a card with the stamp set Sunny day play from Clearly besotted stamps. On the front of the card I have stamped the beach houses and the waves. I have stamped the hippos on a seperate piece of paper. I have coloured everything with my Prismacolor premier pencils. I used a black glaze pen to colour the eyes of the hippos and with a white gelpen I have added accents on the images. I have fussy cut the hippos and then I glued them on the card with foamtape.

Memory dex - Hello honey bee

Hallo, ik vond dat het weer eens tijd werd om een nieuw kaartje te maken voor mijn Memory dex. Deze keer heb ik de schattige afbeelding Cute baby bee van Modgey moko voor gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt.

Met de Stencils SL120 (retired) van Studio light heb ik het memory dex kaartje gemaakt van geel en wit karton. Op de witte laag heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van het witte karton getekend. Met de Slimline grass, horizon, clouds (CR1583) van Marianne design heb ik een grasrandje uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb het gra gekleurd met Twisted citron, Mowed lawn en Rustic wilderness Distress inkt. Ik heb de afbeelding samen met het gras met foamtape op het Memory dex kaartje geplakt. Als laatste heb ik een tekst van de set Sweet honey bee van Honey bee stamps op het kaartje gestempeld. 

Hello, I thought it was time again to make a new card for my Memory dex. This time I have used the very cute image Cute baby bee from Modgey moko. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. 

With the set Stencils SL120 (retired) from Studio light I have cut a memory dex card from yellow and white cardstock. On the white layer I have made a cloudy background with the Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. With a black fineliner I have drawn a line around the edges of the white card. With the Slimline grass, horizon, clouds (CR1583) from Marianne design I have cut a grass border and then I coloured it with Twisted citron, Mowed lawn and Rustic wilderness Distress ink. I have glued the grass together with the image with foamtape on the Memory dex card. Then I stamped a sentiment from the set Sweet honey bee from Honey bee stamps on the card.

Di's digi designs challenge - Summer sun

Hallo, vandaag post ik de kaart die ik heb gemaakt voor de nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog. Deze keer willen we graag zomerse kaarten zien met een zonnetje op je kaart. Ik heb een verjaardagskaart gemaakt met één van mijn favoriete afbeeldingen Fish with Jake van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. 

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de set Splash (CL-ES-CD540) van Creative craft lab. Op de tweede laag is de lucht gekleurd met Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Het gras is gestanst met de Grassy hills (retired) van My favorite things en daarna gekleurd met Twisted citron, Mowed lawn en Rustic wilderness Distress inkt. Uit restjes wit karton heb ik de zon en wolken gestanst met de Sun and clouds (SCCOD018-retired) van Nellie Snellen crafts. De zon is gekleurd met Wild honey en Carved pumpkin Distress inkt. Nadat ik de zon en de wolken op de kaart heb geplakt, heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Op het gras heb ik een tekst van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions gestempeld. Uit rood karton heb ik naam en leeftijd van het jongetje waar de kaart voor is gestanst met het Stencil SL355 and Stencil SL358 van Studio light. 

Hello, today I am posting a card that I have made for the new challenge on the Di's digi designs challenge blog. This time we would like to see summer cards with the sun on them. I have made a birthday card with one of my favourite images Fish with Jake from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. 

I have made a card with the set Splash (CL-ES-CD540) from Creative craft lab. on the second layer I have coloured the sky with Peacock feathers Distress ink. The grass is cut with the Grassy hills (retired) from My favorite things and then I coloured it with Twisted citron, Mowed lawn and Rustic wilderness Distress ink. From some scraps of white cardstock I have cut a sun and clouds with the Sun and clouds (SCCOD018-retired) from Nellie Snellen crafts. I coloured the sun with Wild honey and Carved pumpkin Distress ink. After I glued the sun and clouds on the card I added the image with foamtape. On the grass I have stamped a sentiment from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions. From red cardstock I have cut the name and age of the little boy that will be receiving this card with Stencil SL355 and Stencil SL358 from Studio light and then I glued them on the clouds.

Rebel unicorn crafts - Let's paint a magical night in the forest on instagram

Hallo, ik ben nog wel bezig met World watercolour maand, maar ben er nog niet aan toegekomen om mijn werkjes online te plaatsen. Op 5 juli heb ik een kleine mini tutorial van Rebel unicorn crafts gevolgd op instagram. Ik heb de Let's paint a magical night in the forest op instagram gedaan.

Ik heb mijn tekening gemaakt op het 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano. De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met Mijello mission gold aquarelverf. Op de achtergrond heb ik kleine verfspatjes aangebracht met een goud kleur uit de set Metallic watercolours van Painter sisters. Daarna heb ik met een zwarte en witte Uni Posca pennen de bomen en nog wat sterren getekend. 

Hello. I am still busy with World watercolour month, but I haven't been able to post my work online. On the 5th of july I have followed a mini tutorial from Rebel unicorn crafts. I have done the Let's paint a magical night in the forest on instagram. 

I have made my drawing on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano. The background sky is made with Mijello mission gold watercolours. With a gold colour from the Metallic watercolours from Painter sisters I have added paint splatters. Then I have drawn the trees and stars with black and white Uni Posca pens.

Happy painting club - A cute little bee

Hallo, ik heb weer een nieuwe tutorial van de Happy painting club gevolgd voor World watercolour maand. Deze keer heb ik de tutorial Biene malen op youtube gedaan. Ik heb de tekening gemaakt in het Paint on Mixed media Sketchbook 14x14 cm van Clairefontaine. Ik heb de schets overgetrokken met een zwarte fineliner en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Neocolor II crayons van Caran D'ache. Met een witte en zwarte Posca pen heb ik kleine accentjes op de afbeelding aangebracht. 

Hello, I have followed a new tutorial from the Happy painting club for World watercolour month. This time I have done the tutorial Biene malen on youtube. I have made the drawing in the Paint on Mixed media Sketchbook 14x14 cm from Clairefontaine. I have traced the image with a black fineliner and then I coloured my bee with the Neocolor II crayons from Caran D'ache. With a black and white Posca pen I have added little accents on the drawing.

Hallo, vandaag post ik een bloem die ik heb geschilderd voor World watercolour maand. Ik ga proberen deze maand allemaal (korte) tutorials te volgen om zo lekker bezig te zijn met aquarelverf. Deze keer heb ik een kleine tutorial van Artsy space gevolgd. Ik heb de How to paint Echinacea of Coneflower op youtube gedaan. Ik heb de schets met potlood gemaakt in mijn Watercolour book 100% cotton 14x14 cm van Hahnemühle en daarna heb ik de bloem gekleurd met Schmincke aquarelverf. Ik heb rondom de bloem kleine verfspatjes aangebracht met de kleuren verf die ik in de afbeelding heb gebruikt. 

Hello, today I am posting a flower that I have painted for World watercolour month. I am trying to follow many (short) tutorials this month. This way I get to enjoy watercolouring every day. Today I followed a little tutorial from Artsy space. I have done the How to paint Echinacea of Coneflower on youtube. I sketched the flower with a pencil in my Watercolour book 100% cotton 14x14 cm from Hahnemühle and then I painted the flower with Schmincke watercolours. I have added tiny paint splatters around the image with the same colours that I used for the flower.
