A gorjuss bookmark

Ik had een tijdje geleden in een webwinkel een stempel van Gorjuss besteld, maar toen ik deze echt in mijn handen had, bleek hij echt super groot te zijn. Veel te groot (wat mij betreft) voor een kaartje. Ik moest dus iets anders gaan bedenken wat ik met deze stempel kon gaan doen. Terwijl ik door mijn hobbyspullen aan het zoeken was kwam ik mijn Extreme labels van Crealies tegen en de grootste label heeft echt de perfecte maat voor zo'n afbeelding. Ik heb een grote label gemaakt die ik als boekenlegger ga gebruiken.
Op de boekenlegger heb ik stempels van de set Gorjuss - Time to fly van Santoro gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. Ik heb met de Extreme labels & tags 05 van Crealies (retired) een grote label uit wit karton gestanst. Op het label heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een achtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb de onderkant van de tag nog eens gestanst en daarna heb ik een grasrandje aan de onderkant gestanst met de Grassy fields van My favorite things. Ik heb het gras gekleurd met Peeled paint en Forest moss distress inkt en daarna heb ik het samen met de afbeeldingen op de label geplakt. Ik heb witte bakers twine door het gaatje boven in het label gebonden.

A while ago I ordered a Gorjuss stamp from an online store, but when it arrived I was shocked to see how big it is in real. In my opinion it is too big for a card, so I had to think of something else that I can do with this image. When I was looking through al my craft supplies I found the extreme labels from Crealies and the biggest one is the perfect size for the image. So I decided to make a large label that I am going to use as a bookmark. 
On the bookmark I used stamps from the set Gorjuss - Time to fly from Santoro. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut them all. I have die-cut a lartge label from white cardstock with the Extreme labels & tags 05 from Crealies (retired). With the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink I made a background on the label. I have die-cut the bottom part of the label again and then I made a grassy border on it with the Grassy fields die-namics from My favorite things. I coloured the grass with Peeled paint and Forest moss distress ink and then I glued the grass and all the images on the label. I tied white bakers twine on to the label.

Gorjuss Heartfelt - Wish you were here!

Goedemiddag, dit is mijn kaartje van dag 5 van de 30-day colouring challenge van Kathy Racoosin.

Hello, this is mu card from day 5 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Voor mijn kaartje van gisteren heb ik weer eens een gorjuss stempel gebruikt. Ze zijn zo leuk en ik gebruik ze eigenlijk te weinig. Dit is Gorjuss - Heartfelt van Santoro en ik heb haar op wit papier gestempeld en vervolgens ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik vond het wel leuk om een deel van de afbeelding te gebruiken en dus heb ik haar half uitgesneden met een rechthoek van de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies. Naast de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de set Essential sentiments van My favorite things (retired) gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding op een roze kaart geplakt en daarna de kaart versierd met Fairytale fuchsia, Mossy green en Marshmallow 4mm sequins van Pretty pink posh. Het hartje van het meisje is gekleurd met de clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen en daarna heb ik glossy accents op het hart aangebracht.

For my card from yesterday I used a gorjuss stamp. They are so lovely and I don't use them often enough. This is Gorjuss - Heartfelt from Santoro and I stamped her on white cardstock and then I coloured her with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I decided it would be fun to use just a part of the image, so I cut a part of the image with a rectangle die from the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies. Next to the image I stamped a sentiment from the set Essential sentiments from My favorite things (retired). I adhered the image on a pink card and then I decorated it with Fairytale fuchsia, Mossy green and Marshmallow 4mm sequins from Pretty pink posh. The heart from the girl is coloured with a clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen and then I applied glossy accents on it.

Goedemorgen, vandaag is het dag 27 van de 30-day colouring challenge van Kathy Racoosin.

Goodmorning, today it is day 27 from the 30-day colouring challenge from Kathy Racoosin.

Ik ben weer terug met een nieuw kaartje voor de 30-colouring challenge na alweer een kleine pauze. De laatste dagen stond mijn hoofd niet zo naar het kleuren, dus ik had even niets om te posten. Normaal zou ik vandaag weer een nieuw kerstkaartje posten, maar dat doe ik later deze week nog wel even.
Vandaag laat ik een eenvoudig kaartje zien dat ik heb gemaakt met de stempel Gorjuss - Little song van Santoro. Ik heb de afbeelding op wit karton gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze ingekleurd met mijn polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Naast de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de set Van alles wat van EveryDee stamps gestempeld. Ik heb gaatjes in het karton geprikt en daarna heb ik met wit borduurgaren een randje rondom gestikt. Uit groen en roze karton heb ik bloemetjes en blaadjes geponst en deze heb ik in de rechter bovenhoek geplakt. Ik heb het witte vlak papier op roze karton geplakt en daarna heb ik het op een witte kaart geplakt.

I am back again with a new card for the 30-day colouring challenge after a little break. The fast few days I didn't have the right mood for colouring, so I had nothing to post here. Normally I would post a christmascard, but I still need to make it, so you will see that one later this week. 
Today I am showing you a simple card made with the stamp Gorjuss - Little song from Santoro. I stamped the image on white cardstock and then I coloured her with my polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. Next to the image I stamped a birthday sentiment from the set Van alles wat from EveryDee stamps. I made little holes in the white cardstock and the I added stitched borders with white embroidery thread. . I have punched a couple of flowers and leaves from pink and green cardstock and added little white pearls in the centers of the flowers. I adhered the image panel on pink cardstock and then I adhered everything on a white card.

Ik had nog een bedanktkaartje nodig voor iemand en dus heb ik gisteren een kaartje gemaakt. Voor mijn kaartje heb ik weer één van de gorjuss girls gebruikt van Sugar Nellie. Ik blijf ze erg leuk vinden. Voor mijn kaartje heb ik een sketch van Jen del Muro gevolgd. Op een rose kaart met linnenstructuur heb ik het zwarte kader en de stipjes geprint. Ik heb mijn gorjuss girl op een los stukje wit papier geprint en uitgesneden met de rechthoekige nestabilities. Ik heb haar gekleurd met derwent potloden. Ik heb nog wat glitter toegevoegd met mijn clear spica glitter pen. de ogen heb ik nog eens extra gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Het woordje thanks heb ik gemaakt met het moxie alfabet van quickutz. De zwarte boemetjes zijn gemaakt met een ponsje. Ik heb ze met een embossingpen een beetje behandeld, zodat ze niet meer zo plat zijn. In het midden van de bloemetjes heb ik nog een rose stipje geplakt.

I needed a thank you card for someone, so yesterday I made a card. For my card I used a stamp of the gorjuss girls from Sugar Nellie. I really like these. For my card I used a sketch from Jen del Muro. On a pink card with linen structure I printed the frame and the black dots. I stamped the gorjuss girl on white paper and cut it iut with the rectangle nestabilities. I colored her with derwent pencils. I added some glitter with the clear spica glitter pen. I colored the eyes with a black glaze pen. I made the word thanks with the moxie alphabet from quickutz. The black flowers are made with a punch. I used an embossingstylus on them so they aren't flat anymore. I added a pink dot in the hearts of the flowers.
