House mouse challenge - Get well

It is monday again and I had some time to make a card for the House mouse challenge blog. This week you have to make a get well card. This image is such a cutie and I thought it was perfect for a get well card. I have gotten this image from Ann. I coloured the mouse with derwent and caran d'ache pencils and then I cut him out with nestabilities. I used yellow cardstock with a linen structure. I printed some yellow gingham paper and on the gingham paper I printed the sentiment. I made two tiny bows from black satin ribbon. My picture is horrible...sorry.... I do have a new mini photostudio but when I wanted to use for the 3th ever, one of the lamp wasn't working anymore. :( Now I am off to bed, I am really tired.

Penny Black challenge

Last friday I finally received a package, that was allready sent to me a few weeks ago, but it was taken by Dutch customs. I was supposed to get some stamped images from my sweet friend Angela, but she surprised me with a biiiiiiiiig package with all kinds of nice goodies. So incredibly cool, I was in tears when I was opening all my presents. It felt like christmas to me! So again: Thank you so much Angela!!!!

Today I made a card for this weeks Penny Black challenge and it was a good oppurtunity to use one of my new goodies! :):):) This weeks challenge on the Penny Black Saturday Challenge was pretty easy, it was: Anything goes. So you are allowed to make anything you want as long as you use at least one Penny Black stamp. The frog is from the Penny Black clear stamp set: Toadily. I colored the frog with derwent pencils. I colored the flower with a clear spica glitter pen. I cut the frog out with circle nestabilities and added a pink and green circle as extra layers. I added two pink hotfix stones on the circle. I used a white card and stamped the little flowers on it. The flower is from the clear stamp set: Fresh new day. I colored the flowers also with the derwent pencils. The sentiment and the border were made with one of my new pressies from Angela: De JustRite Stamper and the Curlz deluxe kit. The last one I used for this card. I used one of the sentiment stamps and the cute edge for my card. I colored the circles with a pink derwent pencil. Then I cut it out with circle nestabilities. I made a bow from Pink satin ribbon and put the sentiment circle on top of that with some foamtape.

Magnolia

This birthday card was made a week ago, but I didn't show it earlier, because it was still on its way to the birthday girl. For my card I followed an old sketch from the friday sketchers, but because my card was supposed to be a surprise, I didn't participate in that challenge then. On my card I used the cute Magnolia stamp: Tilda with tulips. I had to have this stamp because I am Dutch ;) I colored Tilda with derwent pencils. The dots on her cheeks wer made with a white gelpen. For the eyes I used two hotfix stones. I cut Tilda out and let her sit on the edge of the ovals that I cut with my nestabilities. The purple background was printed on my card. I used a white grosgrain ribbon and added 3 black hotfix stones. The swirl was cut with the silhouette. On the swirl I used the hotfix stones again. The sentiment was made with the computer. I cut it out and made the faux stitching with a purple fineliner.

Dare U 2 Digi stamp challenge 4

Today it is allready time for the fourth challenge on Dare U 2 Digi stamp. This time we have a theme: Things with wings. My buddies from the design team have made very lovely cards, so please take a look at the blog!

For my card I have chosen for one of the supercute gingersnap girls from CC. Designs. She has wings and so she was perfect for this challenge. ;) I coloured the girl with derwent coloursoft pencils. I coloured her dress with a dark blue aquatone pencil from Derwent. Normally I don't like the color I get with a dark blue pencil, but this one is perfect, because it is really dark blue. I coloured the eyes with a black glaze pen. With a white gelpen I have drawn dots on the cheeks of the girl. I coloured her wings with my clear spica glitter pen, but unfortunately you can't see it in the picture. I have had the dark blue paper with the nice structure for a long time in my stash and I don't know where I got it. I printed the sentiment and the image together one the white paper and matted it on the pink paper. I made a little bow from pink satin ribbon. The card was finished with 3 pink hotfix stones.

I still enjoy making cards with the "older" babystamps from Eline Pellinkhof and so I made two cards yesterday. I made a frame with my computer and printed the sentiment (Hurray a boy/girl) in the frame. Then I stamped the baby in the frame. I coloured them with derwent pencils. I coloured some dots in the girls sweater and stripes in the sweater of the boy. The background papers are from a digital kit from Cuddly Buddly. I printed them on white hammered paper. I decorated my card with white hotfix stones.

Debbie has an amazing blog candy because she has had a blog for a year now. You must take a look at her blog, because her cards are always stunning and she colours soooooo beautiful!

Zwanger

I made this card the last weekend. I used for my card the stamp: Expecting Sophie from Hanna Stamps. I coloured Sophie with derwent pencils. I coloured the antlers with a pink and blue pencil because it is a card for someone who is pregnant. I coloured the antlers also with my clear spica glitter pen. The eyes were coloured with a black glaze pen. I cut the image out using the rectangle nestabilities. I printed the sentiment on a strip of yellow paper with linen structure. I added white satin ribbon. On my card I printed the yellow gingham background. I made the corners round with a punch. I used some black square hotfix stones as decoration.

Dare you 2 digistamp challenge 3 en internetproblemen

Hallo allemaal!
Hi everyone!
Last Thursday I had some problems with my internet connection. After a phone call with my internet provider, I knew that something was wrong with the internet connections in my neighboorhood. This morning someone came and everything was repaired. I really missed my internet connection these last days, but I am finally back! So finally I can show my project that I made for the 3th challenge of the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp. This week you have to make a card or something else and use the color combination: pink and green. Although I don’t use this combination very often on my cards, I really like it, so I really liked working with it.

For this week I have made a bag. I printed the green background on a piece of white hammered paper. I used a strip of pink paper at the top of the bag to make it a bit stronger. I cut the edge of the pink strip with a cutting machine that I bought at a Dutch store. With the same cutting machine I cut the small pink strip that I used on the bottom of the bag. The image that I used this week is Flower bunch from Christine Dark. I colored the flowers with derwent pencils. I colored the bow with a clear spica glitter pen. I have cut the image using my rectangle nestabilities.

For the handle I made a cord with white, pink and green thread. I made a card with the same green and pink paper for inside my bag but I forgot to make a picture of it, very stupid of me. :(

Ketto

I thought that the sketch on the sketch saturday blog was a good excuse for me to try one of my new Stamping Bella stamps. This is Rollanda Ketto from the new line of Ketto stamps. They are really funny. I coloured my ketto girl with derwent pencils. I coloured her wings with a clear spica glitter pen and the eyes and dots in her hair were coloured with a black glaze pen. I used rectangle nestabilities to cut out the image. On a white card I printed the orange dotted background. Then I used a black satin ribbon and a strip of white paper. On the strip I used some hotfix stars.

Vrolijk pasen!

I made this pyramid box yesterday for my mum. On a strip of white paper I printed the purple dots and the sentiment (vrolijk pasen=happy easter). I wanted to use a digital stampset from CC. designs. So I could also print the row of eggs on the box. I coloured the eggs with a purple derwent pencil. Then I decorated them all with a white gelpen. On the big egg on the right I coloured the easter bunnie and eggs and the sun ( I tell you, because my drawing skills aren't that good ;) ). I printed the little bunnie on white paper and coloured it with derwent pencils. I have drawn dots on the cheeks with a white gelpen. The eyes were coloured with my black glaze pen, to make them extra black and shiny. I cut the bunnie out and mounted it on the bo with foamtape. I used a white satin ribbon to close the box.
I want to wish everyone a happy easter!

Penny Black challenge - A gift

It is saturday and I decided to play with the Penny Black saturday challenge. This week you have to make a gift for someone. Because it is easter tomorrow, I decided to make a little easter gift. I cut the box with the silhouette. The pattern is from the site of quickutz.

On all the sides of the box I have stamped with Penny Black stamps. I stamped the pile of chicks twice and the flower was also stamped twice. I also stamped some butterflies. Because the box still was a little bit boring, I have drawn the dots with a yellow fineliner from Stabilo.

I cut the top of the box off and used some paper ribbon as an extra decoration. I printed the sentiment vrolijk pasen (happy easter) and I used the minitags from quickutz to cut them out. I doodled a bit at the edges of the tags with my yellow fineliner. I did some chocolate eggs in the box.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - Challenge 2 - Bling

Today it is allready time for the second challenge on the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge blog. This week's theme is Bling. So make a card ( or something else) and add some bling to it! The others from the design team made really nice cards, so please take a look on the blog!

For my card I used this very cute image of a meerkat. The image is from Sandra Dry and you can find some very cute other digital stamps on her blog: Sandra Dry Digi Stamps! I coloured meerkat with derwent pencils. I added glitter to the jacket and bow with my very much loved clear spica glitter pen. And it is visible on my picture!! :) I have cut the image with rectangle nestabilities. I matted it on a bigger red rectangle. I used a red card from papicolor paper. The black and white background was designed by myself on the computer. I coloured the black balls with my clear spica glitter pen. The sentiment was computer generated and I added a piece of black glitter paper ( you can't see it on the picture :( ). In the corners of the image I used black hotfix stones.

And this is my second card for a drivers license. It is very girly. So very nice to do! :) I think it is easier to make cards for girls. I used the sketch of the sketch saturday blog again. I printed a pik gingham pattern on my card. The image is Lovebeetle huggabugg from Stamping Bella. I coloured my huggabugg with derwent pencils. I added glitter to the wings and the hearts with my clear spica glitter pen. I have cut the image with rectangle nestabilities. I have added a pink scalloped rectangle. I cut a strip of the pink papicolor paper and cut it with my scalloped scissors. I added a white strip of paper. The word rijbewijs (drivers license) was made with the phoebe alphabte from quickutz. The flowers are made with a punch. I folded them a bit, so they wouldn't be so flat. In the hearts I used black hotfix stones. Next to the image I used black heart hotfix stones.

Rijbewijs

I needed two cards for persons who had passes their drivers exam. One card was for a boy and the other one was for a girl. This is my card for the boy. For my card I followed a sketch from the sketch saturday blog. As my base I used a dark blue card with ribcord structure. The stamp is from Riley the moose from Hannah stamps. Riley was stamped on a piece of white cardstock with linen structure. I colored Riley with derwent pencils and cut him out with the rectangle nestabilities. For my sentiment I used a strip of white paper. I printed a red striped line on it, because I wanted it to look like a road, but you can't see that very well. I made the word rijbewijs (drivers license) with the moxie alphabet from quickutz. I have drawn some accents on the letters with a white gelpen. I printed the word hoera (hurray) and cut it out with circle nestabilities. I added bigger red circle, to make it look like a traffic sign. The red stries next to the image are made with a punch.

Tulpjes

Gistermiddag ben ik even naar het Artspecially for you event geweest in Zeist.

Yesterday I have been to the Artspecially for you event in Zeist. I did see a lot of nice goodies and yes I did buy some nice goodies. :) One of the new things that I found was this little tulip from Bildmalarnas. Yesterday evening I made a card using it. For my card I used this fun sketch from Jen del Muro. I started with printing the dots on my card. I embossed a strip of red papicolor paper with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. I added a white ribbon with a knot. I stamped the tulip three times and cut it out with sqaure nestabilities. I coloured the tulip with pencils from Caran d'ache. The sentiment was computer generated (Best wishes on your birtday) and I added a tiny strip of paper under and above the sentiment.

Today is the day..... the first challenge of Dare U 2 digi stamp started today. Every friday you can find a new challenge on the blog. This first week we are starting with a sketch. You can win a fantastic price, so I hope to see you all over there! Come please and take a look at the great cards from the others on the design team, they are amazing!

This is my first card for the challenge. I used the digi stamp Tara from Christine Dark for my card. Tara was coloured with derwent pencils and on the flowers i used my clear spica glitter pen. With a dark brown fineliner I have drawn some dots in the hearts of the flowers. Tara was cut out with rectangle nestabilities and I added a black rectangle. I printed on a white card the purple stripes. The purple rectangle with the dots was also printed. The ribbon is a paper ribbon with a self adhesive back that I got from a dutch store: Xenos.

I made the flower in the corner with some punches I have. I have drawn some dots on the heart of the flower with a dark brown fineliner. I colored a little bit with a green and yellow pencil on a piece of paper, and then I used my punches.

And this is another close up from Tara.

In the old days......

Long before I started making cards, I was always crafting together with my mother. We did so many different things. About 15 years ago we had a period in which we made babyshoes. We got the pattern out of a magazine and my mother made the first pair of shoes. She was always sewing and that was one thing I didn't do, but when I saw the shoes I also wanted to make some. We made many pairs. I needed a little present for a babygirl now and it braught all the memories back. We searched and found this set of shoes. Aren't they cute? Perfect as a little present. But I can't just give a pair of shoes now, I thought they needed a matching shoebox....:)

This is the lid of the box. Again I used another cute baby stamp from Eline Pellinkhof and coloured it with derwent and caran d'ache pencils. I cut the image out with oval nestabilities. I coloured the eyes with a black glaze pen and the dots on the cheeks are drawn with a white gelepen. On the baby's hat I attached a little flower and a hotfix stone on top of it. For the lid I have chosen for a dotted background. I wrote the name of the baby with the phoebe alphabet from quickutz. I also used a flower ribbon.

The rest of the box was made of a striped paper. I used some grosgrain ribbon on the lit and made a little bow
