As you like it challenge 286 - Your favourite 2 colour combination

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze challenge wordt gesponsord door Dies to die for. Deze keer willen we je favoriete kleurencombinatie van 2 kleuren weten. Ik heb voor groen en roze gekozen. Ik hou heel erg van de kleur roze en in combinatie met groen wordt de kleur nog mooier. Het is de perfecte kleurencombinatie voor een mooie bloem en daarom heb ik vandaag een bloemenkaart gemaakt.

Ik heb met de Slimline frames (CR1537-retired) van Marianne design een rechthoek uit Florence watercolour paper smooth 300 gram van Vaessen creative gestanst. Hierop heb ik met de Sketch stencils Floral 2 van Karin Joan met potlood een mooie bloem gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna overgetrokken met verschillende maten Black Unipin fineliners. De bloem heb ik ingekleurd met de Molotow sketcher markers. De zwarte bolletjes in de bloem zijn gekleurd met de Black glaze pen van Sakura. Nadat de afbeelding helemaal droog was, heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Birthday sentiments van Uniko gestempeld onder de bloem. Met de Slimline frames (CR1537-retired) van Marianne design heb ik nog een geschulpte rechthoek gestanst en hier heb ik de rechthoek met bloem geplakt. Daarna heb ik ze samen met foamtape op een slimline kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes.

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and this time we are being sponsored by Dies to die for. This time we want to see your favourite 2 colour combination. I have picked pink and green. I really love the colour pink and love combining it with green. It is such a fresh combination. These colours are perfect for flowers, so today I decided to make a flower card.

I have cut a rectangle panel with the Slimline frames (CR1537-retired) from Marianne design from Florence watercolour paper smooth 300 gram from Vaessen creative. On this panel I have made a lovely flower with the help of the Sketch stencils Floral 2 from Karin Joan. I have traced my pencil sketch with a couple of sizes Black Unipin fineliners. The flower is coloured with Molotow sketcher markers. I used the Black glaze pen from Sakura to colour the black dots inside the flower. I have stamped a sentiment from the stamp set Birthday sentiments from Uniko on the bottom of the panel. With the Slimline frames (CR1537-retired) from Marianne design I have cut a scalloped rectangle and I glued the panel with the flower on top of it. I glued them together on a slimline card with foamtape. The card is decorated with black hotfix gems.

Di's digi stamps - Happy mother's day

Goedemorgen, gisteren was het moederdag in Nederland en ik heb een kaartje voor mijn moeder gemaakt met een digitale stempel van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding Tails together mice van Di's digi stamps ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Op de voorkant van een witte kaart heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Peacock feathers Distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb daarna ook nog kleine verfspatjes gemaakt met de Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van de kaart getekend. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt. Boven de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Spring botanicals - Daffodil van Uniko gestempeld. 

Goodmorning, yesterday we celebrated mother's day in the Netherlands and I have made a card for my mother with a digital stamp from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image Tails together mice from Di's digi stamps with my Polychromos pencils and then I have fussy cut the image,

On the front of a white card I have made a background for my image with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Peacock feathers Distress ink. I have added tiny paint splatters with the Peacock feathers Distress ink. With a black fineliner I have doodled a line around the edges of the card. The image is mounted on the card with foamtape. Above the image I have stamped a sentiment from the set Spring botanicals - Daffodil from Uniko.

Merry monday - Merry christmas to ewe

Goedemorgen, het is weer tijd voor een nieuw kerstkaartje op Merry Monday op mijn blog. Deze keer heb ik een kerstkaartje gemaakt met de stempelset Fleece navidad van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt.
Op een witte kaart heb ik een stukje rood-wit gestreept design papier van het "Basics" motivkarton from Folia paper geplakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik lijntjes langs de randen van de kaart gedoodled. Ik heb het schaap met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Onder de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Fleece navidad van Whimsy stamps gestempeld. Daarna heb ik met zwarte inkt sterretjes van de stempelset Christmas pop van Uniko stamps (retired) rondom de afbeelding gestempeld.

Di's digi designs challenge - Use a digi stamp

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag dat je een digitale stempel op je project gebruikt. Dat is niet zo moeilijk, dus hopelijk doe je ook mee aan de challenge! :)
Ik heb een verjaardagskaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Cute pals van Di's digi stamps. Ik ben voor de no-line colouring techniek gegaan. Dat houdt in dat je je afbeelding met een hele licht stempelinkt stempelt, of in een hele lichte toon print, zodat de oorspronkelijke lijnen verdwijnen tijdens het kleuren van de afbeelding. Achteraf had ik de afbeelding nog iets lichter moeten printen, want op sommige plekken zijn de lijntjes nog zichtbaar, maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en bepaalde gedeeltes zijn gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt.
Ik heb uit een stukje zwart papier een scallop randje gestanst met de Borderlines trio - Creative cuts van Mama elephant en dat heb ik op een kraft kaart geplakt. Ik heb een strookje wit karton gestanst met de Grassy fields die-namics van My favorite things en dat heb ik daarna gekleurd met Mowed lawn distress inkt. Op een stuk wit karton heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik lijntjes langs de randen van het witte karton getekend.Ik heb het gras op de wolkenachtergrond geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset So much to say (retired) van Clearly besotted stamps in de linker boven hoek gestempeld. Met twee sterretjes stempels van de stempelset Christmas pop (retired) van Uniko heb ik rondom de afbeelding kleine sterretjes gestempeld. De sterretjes zijn gestempeld met Mowed lawn, Wild honey, Festive berries en Faded jeans Distress inkt.

I have made a card with the digital stamp Cute pals from Di's digi stamps. I decided to go for the no-line colouring technique. That means you stamp an image in a very light colour or you print it in a very light colour, so the lines disappear when you colour the image. In hindsight I should have printed my image a bi lighter, because on some spots the lines are still visible, but I still happy with the result. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and I coloured some parts of the image with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. Then I have fussy cut the image.
I have diecut a scalloped strip of black cardstock with the Borderlines trio - Creative cuts from Mama elephant and glued it on a kraft card. Then I have diecut a white cardstock with the Grassy fields die-namics from My favorite things and coloured it with Mowed lawn distress ink. ON a piece of white cardstock I made a cloudy background with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. I have drawn lines around the edges of the white cardstock with a black fineliner and then I glued the grass border on top of it. I have glued the image with foamtape on the background. In the left upper corner I have stamped a sentiment from the set So much to say (retired) from Clearly besotted stamps. With two star stamps from the set Christmas pop (retired) from Uniko I have stamped stars around the image and sentiment. I used Mowed lawn, Wild honey, Festive berries and Faded jeans Distress ink for the stars.

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog. Deze keer willen we weten wat je liever op je kaarten gebruikt: Lint of bloemen. Ik gebruik vrij weinig versieringen op mijn kaarten, maar als ik dan toch iets pak is dat meestal een lintje. Ik vind een strikje op zo'n kaart er nou eenmaal erg leuk uitzien. Ik ben dan wel vrij saai in mijn lintjeskeuze, ik pak namelijk meestal gewoon een wit lintje. ;)
Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Cute parade van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Ik heb de ballonnen en vlaggetjes gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. Ik heb uit streepjes papier van het Really rainbow paper pack van Lawn fawn met de Stitched basic edges die-namics van My favorite things een stukje voor de bovenkant van mijn kaart gestanst. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 van Crealies heb ik uit wit karton een vierkant gestanst en die heb ik daarna op een kraft kaart geplakt. Nadat ik het streepjespapier op de kaart heb geplakt, heb ik er een wit lintje omheen gebonden. Ik heb in de linker onderhoek een tekst van de set So much to say van Clearly besotted stamps gestempeld. Met Broken china distress inkt heb ik een achtergrond voor de afbeelding gemaakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb rondom de afbeelding kleine sterretjes van de stempelset Christmas pop van Uniko stamps gestempeld.

Most of the times I don't use any embellishments on my cards, but when I use something it is often ribbon. I just love the look of a little bow on my cards. I am pretty boring when it comes to colour choices, because most of the times I use white ribbon. ;)

The balloons are coloured with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. I have die-cut a shape from striped paper from the Really rainbow paper pack from Lawn fawn with the Stitched basic edges die-namics from My favorite things. From white cardstock I have die-cut a square with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 from Crealies and I glued that on a kraft card and then I glued the striped paper on my card. I tied white ribbon around the card and made a little bow. In the left bottom corner of the square I stamped a sentiment from the set So much to say from Clearly besotted stamps. With Broken china distress ink I made a background for the image and then I glued the image with foamtape on the card. I stamped a little star from the set Christmas pop from Uniko stamps around the image.

As you like it challenge 148 - Pearls or buttons

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag weten wat je liever gebruikt op je kaarten: knopen of parels. Hoewel ik beide erg leuk vind om te gebruiken, zie je niet vaak knopen op mijn kaarten. De eerste reden is dat ik mijn knopencollectie altijd vergeet. Ik heb best wat knopen, maar toch gebruik ik ze dus niet omdat ik er gewoon niet aan denk. De tweede reden is dat een knoop toch een aardige bult kan geven op je kaart en dat is met een parel wat minder. Die zijn soms zelfs in hele kleine maatjes te vinden. Dus ik heb dan ook voor parels gekozen op mijn kaartje van vandaag.

Ik heb vandaag de stempelset Spring botanicals Daffodil van Uniko gebruikt. Ik heb de narcis samen met de tekst op aquarel papier gestempeld met zwarte inkt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding en tekst geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Altenew watcolour 36 pan set. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 24 van Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit geel ruitjespapier van het Classic gingham paperpack van Sunny studio gestanst en deze heb ik op de voorkant van een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb met dezelfde stans ook de afbeelding en tekst uitgestanst en daarna heb ik aan de rechterkant van dit rechthoek een randje van 1 cm van de rand afgesneden. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna op de kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik de kaart versierd met een aantal kleine witte pareltjes.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on As you like it challenge blog  and this time we want to know if you rather use buttons or pearls on your creations.Although I love the look of both embellishments, you don't see a buttons on my cards very often. The first reason is that I always forget that I have a button stash. I do have many different, but I don't use them, because I forget they exist. The second reason is that a buttons add a lot of bulk on your card and pearls give less bulk. I love that pearls sometimes come in really tiny sizes. So I decided to use pearls on my card today.

Today I used the stampset Spring botanicals Daffodil from Uniko on my card. I stamped the image and sentiment with black ink on watercolour cardstock and then I embossed them with clear embossingpowder. Then I coloured the image with the Altenew watcolour 36 pan set. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 24 from Crealies I have die-cut a rectangle from yellow design paper from the Classic gingham paperpack from Sunny studio amd I glued on the front of a white card. I used the same die to die-cut the image. I have cut away a strip of watercolour paper from the right part of the image and then I glued the image on the card. I have decorated the card with tiny white pearls.

A birthday present for my uncle

Goedemorgen, mijn oom was laatst jarig en vandaag laat ik het cadeautje zien dat ik voor hem heb gemaakt.

Goodmorning, a while ago my uncle celebrated his birthday and today I am posting the gift that I made.

Ik heb uit wit karton een tasje gestanst en daarop heb ik een tekst van de set Birthday sentiments van Uniko gestempeld met Nocturne Versafine clair inkt. Daarna heb ik rondom de tekst sterretjes van de set Big greetings van Avery elle gestempeld met Tulip red Versafine clair inkt. Vervolgens heb ik weer met de zwarte inkt het hele kleine sterretje van de set Christmas pop van Uniko gestempeld. Ik heb het tasje gevuld en het daarna gesloten met een rood lintje.

I have die-cut a bag from white cardstock and then I stamped a sentiment from the set Birthday sentiments from Uniko on the front with Nocturne Versafine clair ink. I have stamped a couple of stars from the set Big greetings from Avery elle with Tulip red Versafine clair ink around the sentiment. I used black ink again to stamp the little star from the set Christmas pop from Uniko on the bag. I filled the bag with chocolates and a giftcard and then I closed it with a red ribbon.

Ik heb nog een klein envelopje uit wit karton gestanst en dat heb ik rood gekleurd met Tulip red Versafine clair inkt en een blending tool. Op de voorkant heb ik een tekst van de set Birthday sentiments van Uniko gestempeld met Nocturne Versafine clair inkt. Ik heb het envelopje verder versierd met de kleine sterretjes van de set Christmas pop van Uniko. Ik heb uit zwart karton een grote ster gestanst met de Large holiday shapes van Simon says stamp.

I have die-cut a little envelope from white cardstock and then I coloured it red with Tulip red Versafine clair ink and a blending tool. On the front of the envelope I stamped a sentiment from the set Birthday sentiments from Uniko with Nocturne Versafine clair ink. I stamped a couple of little stars from the set Christmas pop from Uniko on the envelope. I have closed the envelope with a big star that I have die-cut from black cardstock with the Large holiday shapes from Simon says stamp.

Oeps een beetje laat, maar hier is mijn kaartje voor de nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog. Deze keer is onze challenge Buttons, bows and bling, oftewel knoopjes, strikjes and bling bling.

Ik heb een kerstkaartje gemaakt met de lieve Christmas cupcake mice van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb delen van de afbeelding gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen en daarna heb ik op de candy canes/zuurstokjes Glossy accents aangebracht. Ik heb met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 van Crealies een cirkel uit wit karton gestanst. Daarna heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 van Crealies een geschulpte cirkel uit wit karton gestanst. Nadat ik deze op elkaar heb geplakt heb ik hier de afbeelding met foamtape op geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de set Simply said II van Uniko stamps naast de afbeelding gestempeld.

Mijn kaartje is gemaakt door 2 geschulpte vierkanten op elkaar te plakken die ik heb uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 54 van Crealies. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 van Crealies heb ik uit rood-wit stipjes papier van het Candy land paper pack van My favorite things een vierkant gestanst. Ik heb hier een wit lintje omheen gebonden en daarna heb ik het papier op mijn kaart geplakt. Als laatste heb ik de kaart nog versierd met een aantal kleine witte knoopjes.

Oops I am a bit late, but here is my card for the new challenge on the Di's digi designs challenge blog. This time our challenge is Buttons, bows and bling.

I have made a christmas card with the sweet Christmas cupcake mice from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have coloured parts of the image with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen and then I applied Glossy accents on the candy canes to add a bit more bling. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies I have die-cut a circle from white cardstock. Then I have die-cut a scalloped circle from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 from Crealies. I glued the image on the circle and stamped a sentiment from the set Simply said II from Uniko stamps next to the image. 

My card is made with 2 scalloped sqaures that I glued together and that I have die-cut with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 54 from Crealies. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 from Crealies I have die-cut a square from red-white dotted design paper from the Candy land paper pack from My favorite things. I wrapped a white ribbon around it and then I glued it on my card. Then finally I glued 3 white buttons on the card.

Gerda Steiner designs - It's the most wonderful time of the year

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer een nieuw kaartje op het blog van Gerda Steiner designs. Ik heb deze keer een kaart gemaakt met de digitale stempel Santa owl van Gerda Steiner designs. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Omdat het een kerstafbeelding is, mag de glitter natuurlijk niet ontbreken, dus ik heb delen van de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens uitgeknipt.
Op een witte kaart heb ik design papier van het A perfect winter paperpad van Echo Park op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Op het design papier heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Most wunderful van Uniko gestempeld.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I made a card with the image Santa owl from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. Since it is a christmas image, I had to add some glitter, so I coloured parts of the image with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. I have fussy cut the image. 
On a white card I glued design paper from the A perfect winter paperpad from Echo Park and then I adhered the image on the card with foamtape. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Most wunderful from Uniko on the design paper.

The digistamp boutique - Bizzy lizzy

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een kaartje gemaakt met een digitale stempel van de Digistamp boutique. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding Bizzie Lizzie van The digistamp boutique. Ik heb deze afbeelding ingekleurd met een Daniel Smith dot chart. Ik heb de ogen en de neus van het bijtje gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen en op de wangen heb ik stipjes gezet met een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op de voorkant van een witte kaart heb ik met het Focal point stencil van Create a smile stamps en Scattered straw, Wild honey en Spiced marmelade distress inkt een soort zon gemaakt. Ik heb uit zwart karton een cirkel gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 van Crealies en deze heb ik midden op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. De tekst is van de stempelset Spring botanicals daffodil van Uniko. Ik heb met een zwarte fineliner lijntjes op de kaart gedoodled en daarna heb ik de kaart nog versierd met een aantal zwarte hotfix steentjes.

I have coloured this image with a Daniel Smith dot chart. I have coloured the eyes and nose of the bee with a black glaze pen and with a white gelpen I added some dots on the cheek. I have fussy cut the image. On the front of a white card I made a sun with the Focal point stencil from Create a smile stamps and Scattered straw, Wild honey and Spiced marmelade distress ink. I have die-cut a circle from black cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies and I adhered it in the middle of the card. I adhered the image with foamtape on the card. The sentiment is from the stampset Spring botanicals daffodil from Uniko. I doodled a frame on the card with a black fineliner and then I decorated the card with a couple of black hotfix gems.

Di's digi designs challenge - Birthdays

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer is de challenge verjaardagen. Niet zo moeilijk dus. Ik ben een beetje laat met mijn kaartje. Het kaartje had ik het afgelopen weekend al af, maar ik ben gewoon totaal vergeten hem voor zaterdag op de foto te zetten. Gelukkig is dat nu alsnog gelukt. ;)

Voor deze challenge heb ik de afbeelding Tasty cupcake van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Om het kaartje extra feestelijk te maken heb ik de zebra niet in zijn traditionele kleuren ingekleurd, maar juist in allerlei vrolijke kleurtjes. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 en 52 van Crealies en ik heb deze dies ook gebruikt om een grote en hele kleine rechthoek uit zwart karton te stansen. Op de kleine rechthoek heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Simply said clear stamps van Uniko gestempeld met versamark inkt en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met witte embossingpoeder. Ik heb alles samen op een kraft kaart geplakt.

Hello, today a new challenge has started on the Di's digi designs challenge blog and this time our challenge is birthdays. Not a really difficult challenge. I am a bit late with my card. I finished my card last weekend, but then I totally forgot to take a picture of it before today. But I was able to take one now, so here is my post.

For this challenge I made a card with the image Tasty cupcake from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. To make the card extra festive I decided to colour the zebra not in its usual colours but instead I used all kinds of happy colours. I have die-cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 and 52 from Crealies. I used the same dies to colour a large and really tiny rectangle from black cardstock. On the little rectangle I stamped a sentiment from the set Simply said clear stamps from Uniko with versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I adhered everything on a kraft card.
