Hoera Wladik is 1 jaar!

Goedemorgen, vandaag wordt de kleinzoon van mijn vriendin Inna 1 jaar. Wladik woont in Rusland en als het goed is ;) heeft Inna het kaartje meegenomen naar Moskou.
Ik wilde een feestelijk, kleurrijk kaartje maken en daarom vond ik de stempel Bunch of balloons van Wild rose studio perfect voor mijn kaartje. Ik heb het olifantje ingekleurd met mijn potloden en daarbij heb ik alle kleuren van de regenboog gebruikt. Het was helaas niet zulk mooi weer toen ik mijn foto's ging maken, dus mijn kleurtjes lijken een beetje flets. In het echt was het mooier. ;)
Uit zwart karton heb ik een 1 gestanst met het Moxie alphabet van quickutz en die heb ik op de gele ballon geplakt. Ik heb een kraft kaart gebruikt, omdat ik de regenboogkleuren daar geweldig bij vind passen. Ik heb 2 strips design papier op de kaart geplakt en daaroverheen heb ik een vlak kraft papier geplakt met foamtape. Ik heb hierop stiklijntjes getekend met een witte gelpen. Op het kraft karton heb ik de tekst van de set 't is je verjaardag van Els Brigé gestempeld met versafine onyx black inkt en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Op een stukje zwart papier heb ik de rest van de tekst gestempeld met versamark inkt en deze heb ik geëmbost met witte embossingspoeder. Uit zwart karton heb ik de naam Wladik gestanst met het Die-namics LLD Little lowercase letters from My favorite things en deze heb ik op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today it is my friends grandsons first birthday. Wladik lives in Russia and if everything went well Inna has taken my card for Wladik to Moscow. 
I wanted to make a festive, colourful card, so I thought the image Bunch of balloons from Wild rose studio was perfect for my card. I coloured the elephant with my pencils and I used the rainbow colours on my balloons. Unfortunately the weather wasn't really good when I was taking my pictures, so the colours don't look very bright, but in real they are really bright. ;)
From black cardstock I cut a number 1 with the Moxie alphabet from quickutz and I adhered it on the yellow balloon. I used a kraft card, because I think kraft and rainbow colours look amazing together. I adhered 2 strips of design paper on the card and then I adhered a layer of kraft cardstock. I added faux stitching with a white gelpen. I stamped a sentiment from the set 't is je verjaardag from Els Brigé on it with versafine onyx black ink and then I embossed it with clear embossingpowder. On a piece of black cardstock I stamped another part of the sentiment with versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. From black cardstock I cut the name Wladik with the Die-namics LLD Little lowercase letters from My favorite things and I adhered it on the card.

Fijne verjaardag

Goedemorgen, vandaag laat ik een verjaardagskaartje zien. Ik was in mijn digitale stempels aan het kijken en toen kwam toen deze grappige afbeelding Sky ace van Mike Eustis van Squigglefly (retired) tegen. Het tongetje uit de mond van het konijn is zo schattig. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik ze uitgeknipt. Ik heb een stuk wit karton blauw gekleurd met soap powder inkt van Jenni Bowlin. Met deze zelfde inkt heb ik daarna sterretjes van de set Bowtiful van Waffle flower in de lucht gestempeld. Ze vallen op de foto helaas niet goed op. Ik heb de afbeelding op zwart karton geplakt en daarna heb ik alles op een rode kaart geplakt. De tekst van de set 'T is je verjaardag van Els Brigé is gestempeld met zwarte versafine inkt en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder.

Goodmorning, today I am showing you a birthday card. I was browsing on my computers in my digital stamps files, when I found this adorable stamp Sky ace from Mike Eustis from Squigglefly (retired). I love the little tongue from the bunny stitcking out of his mouth. I colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut them. I colored a piece of white cardstock blue with Soap powder ink from Jenni Bowlin. I used the same ink to stamp little stars on the sky. The stars are from the set Bowtiful from Waffle flower. Unfortunately you can't see them really well on the picture. I adhered the image on black cardstock and then I adhered it on a red card. The sentiment is from a set with Dutch sentiments. It is 'T is je verjaardag from Els Brigé. I stamped the sentiment (happy birthday) with versafine onyx black ink and then I embossed it with clear embossingpowder.

Fairytale challenge - With/for kids

Goedemorgen, neem er maar een kopje koffie bij, want ik heb een post met heel veel foto's voor vandaag. ;)

Vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog en het is een superleuke challenge deze keer. De challenge is om iets te maken voor of met kinderen. Ik heb besloten om voor beide opties te gaan. Mijn kleine neefje Menno van 2,5 jaar oud vindt het namelijk erg leuk om met zijn tante Lizzy te kleuren. ;) Dus ik had me bedacht dat allebei een kaartje zouden gaan maken. Ik heb van tevoren voor ons allebei een pakketje gemaakt met daarin dezelfde afbeelding en papiertjes en voor beide ook nog wat kleine versieringen zoals wiebeloogjes en sterretjes stickers. Voor mezelf had ik nog een extra kaartenkitje gemaakt, zodat ik later op mijn gemak zelf een kaart kon maken voor het geval dat dat niet helemaal lukte terwijl Menno en ik aan het knutselen waren en later beek dat dat een goed idee was. ;)

Today a new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog and this time our challegne is really awesome! The challenge this time is to make something for or with children. I decided to go for both options. My little cousin Menno (2,5 years old) loves it to draw together with his aunty Lizzy. ;) So I decided that we should both make a card. I prepared everything, so I made a couple of card kits for us both. The kits have the same images and papers and also a few small embellishments, like wobbly eyes and star stickers. I also made an extra kit for myself, so I could make a card when the cardmaking didn't work out during my crafty time with Menno. Later it turned out that this was a good idea. ;)

Ik zal eerst mijn kaartje laten zien. De kaart is gemaakt met de afbeelding Critters cuddly van Pollycraft designs. Helaas bestaat Pollycraft designs niet meer, dus ik kan helaas geen linkje plaatsen. Ik heb mijn monster ingekleurd met mijn potloden en rondom de afbeelding heb ik gekleurd met geel krijt. De afbeelding is daarna uitgesneden met de Stitched mats circles van Lil inkers designs. Op een witte kaart heb ik spijkerstof papier geplakt en daarop ik een stiklijntje getekend met een witte gelpen. Ik heb banners gesneden van mijn design papier en deze op de kaart geplakt. De sterretjes heb ik daarna op een aantal plekken op de kaart geplakt en de wiebeloogjes heb ik op het monster geplakt. De tekst  is gestempeld met versamark inkt en daarna geëmbost met de witte embossingpoeder. De tekst komt uit de set Jibber jabber van The alley way stamps. 

I will first start with showing my card. The card is made with the image Critters cuddly from Pollycraft designs. Unfortunately Pollycraft designs isn't in business any longer, so I can't give a link for the image. I have colored the image with my pencils and I colored around the image with yellow chalk. The image is cut out with the Stitched mats circles from Lil inkers designs. On a white card I adhered denim design paper and then I added faux stitching with a white gelpen. I have cut a couple of banners out of my design papers and I adhered those on the card. I adhered the stars on the card and I attached the wobbly eyes. The sentiment is stamped with versamark ink and I embossed it with white embossingpowder. The sentiment is from the set Jibber jabber from the Alley way stamps.

En dit is het kaartje gemaakt door Menno. Menno heeft de afbeelding ingekleurd met potloden. Ik had voor Menno al het jeans papier op de kaart geplakt en ik had dubbelzijdig plakband op alle papiertjes geplakt en daarna mocht Menno zijn gang gaan. Nadat hij was begonnen met het opplakken van het designpapier, kreeg hij er zoveel plezier in dat hij meteen maar ook mijn papieren erbij plakte. ;) Nadat Menno alle papieren had opgeplakt, vond hij dat er nog wat miste dus hij heeft wat stukjes dubbelzijdig plakband als versiering op de kaart geplakt. Hij heeft hetzelfde gedaan met de afbeelding en daarna hebben we samen de wiebeloogjes opgeplakt. Daarna heeft hij al zijn sterretjes op een stapeltje geplakt. ;) Zes sterretjes was te weinig dus hij heeft meteen maar de mijne erbij geplakt. 

And this is the card that Menno made. Menno has colored the image with pencils. I adhered the denim paperon the card for Menno and I prepared all the desing papers with double sided tape for Menno. After he had started adhering the papers, he had so much fun that he decided to take some of my papers too. After he was done he decided to add  some strips of double sided tape as an extra embellishment. He also adhered some on the image and together we adhered the wobbly eyes. Then he decided to adhere all the stars.... in one place. He didn't like the look of just 6 stars, so he took my stars and used them on his own card.

Hier nog even een close up met het mooie inkleurwerk, de stripjes dubbelzijdig tape en de stapel sterretjes. Een echte artiest wat mij betreft!

Here is a close up with is nice coloring, the strips of double sided tape and the stack of stars. A real artist if I may say so!

Hoera Menno is 2

Hallo allemaal! Afgelopen week werd mijn neefje Menno alweer 2 jaar en natuurlijk moest ik een kaartje voor hem maken. Hij is gek op Sesamstraat en vooral Elmo, dus ik ben op zoek gegaan naar een kleurplaat van Elmo en die heb ik op mijn kaartje gebruikt. Elmo is ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik hem uitgeknipt. Op de kaart heb ik de tekst geprint en daarna heb ik er een stuk spijkerstof behang op geplakt. Met een witte gelpen heb ik stiklijntjes gemaakt. Uit geel papier heb ik met het Moxie alfabet van quickutz de tekst gemaakt.

Hi everyone! Last week my little cousin Menno turned 2, so I had to make a card for him. He loves Sesame street and especially Elmo. So I searched on the internet for a Elmo colouring page and used it on my card. Elmo is coloured with my pencils and a black glaze pen and then I cut him out. On the card I printed the sentiment and I added some jeans wall paper. I added faux stitching with a white gelpen. The letters are nade out of yellow paper with the Moxie alphabet from quickutz.

Oma moest natuurlijk ook een kaartje maken voor haar kleinzoon en aangezien Menno ningnings (pinguins ;) ) ook erg leuk vindt, kwam er een pinguin op haar kaartje te staan. De pinguin is gemaakt met de silhouette net als de rest van de kaart. De pinguin heeft grappige wiebeloogjes gekregen en de randjes op mijn muts zijn gemaakt met Liquid applique.

His grandma also had to make a card for the little men and because Menno loves ningnings (penguins), she used a penguin on her card. The penguin is made with the silhouette, just liked the rest of the card.  She gave the penbuin cute wobbly eyes and the she used Liquid applique on his hat.

Tiddly Thursday Throwback - The conductor

Goedemorgen, vandaag heb ik een kaartje gemaakt voor de Tiddly Thursday Throwback. Hierbij laten de verschillende design team leden iedere week een wat oudere Tiddly Inks stempel zien. Deze week was ik aan de beurt en ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding The conductor van Tiddly Inks. Deze afbeelding doet me heel erg aan mijn kleine neefje Menno denken, die heel graag met zijn treintje speelt. Ik heb alvast een kaartje gemaakt voor zijn tweede verjaardag, hoewel die pas in november is. Ben ik in ieder geval niet te laat. ;) Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Met de silhouette heb ik een train rails uitgesneden, die natuurlijk perfect bij de afbeelding past. Ik heb hiervoor de train tracks set gebruikt. Het spoor heb ik met lijmspray opgeplakt. De tekst heb ik gemaakt met het Moxie alfabet van quickutz. Op de rode letters heb ik kleine accentjes getekend met een witte gelpen.

Goodmorning, today I made a card for the Tiddly Thursday Throwback. Every week a memeber of the design team shows a card with an "older" Tiddly Inks image and this week it was my turn to make something. I decided to make a card with the image The conductor from Tiddly Inks. This image reminds me of my little cousin Menno, he loves to play with his little train. I made him a birthday card for his second birthday in november. This way I am certainly not too late with a card for him. ;) I have coloured the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen. Then I cut the image out. I have cut the train tracks with the silhouette. I used the Train tracks set for it. I have adhered the track with glue spray. I made the sentiment with the Moxie alphabet from quickutz. I added little accents on the letters with a white gelpen.

Fairytale challenge blog - Einladungen/Uitnodigingen

Goedemorgen, vandaag is er weer een nieuwe challenge van het Fairy tale challenge blog. De challenge is deze keer dat je een uitnodiging moet maken. Vorige week schreef ik dat het mijn laastse challenge was als guest designer, maar Bianca heeft me gevraagd of ik lid wilde worden van het design team en daar heb ik natuurlijk ja op gezegd! Woohooooooo!!! 

Ik heb ervoor gekozen om een uitndoging te maken voor een kinderfeestje. Ik heb hiervoor een afbeelding van Bugaboo stamps gebruikt. Dit is Scene it - Birthday bears, een lekker feestelijke afbeelding! Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en voor de ogen en neuzen van de beren heb ik een zwarte glaze pen gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding rechtstreeks op de kaart geprint en daar heb ik ook meteen de tekst feestje en kom je ook geprint. Onder op de voorkant van de kaart heb ik een strip regenboog streepjes papier geplakt. Daarna heb ik een zwart lintje om de voorkant van de kaart gebonden. De onderste hoeken van de kaart zijn afgerond met de corner chomper.

Goodmorning, today we have a new challenge for you from the Fairy tale challenge blog. For this challenge you have to make an invitation Last week I wrote that it was my last challenge as a guestdesigner, but Bianca asked me to become a memeber in her design team........woohhooooooo!  

I decided to make an invitation for a birthday party for a child. I used a digital stamp from Bugaboo stamps on it. I have used the image Scene it - Birthday bears, a real festive image! I have coloured the image with my pencils and I used the black glaze pen for the eyes and noses of the bears. I printed the image on the card and I also added 2 sentiments (party and are you coming?) I added a strip of rainbow striped paper at the bottom of the card. I wrapped a black ribbon around it and tied it into a bow. The bottom corners of the card are rounded with the corner chomper. 

Ik heb de binnenkant van de kaart ook versierd. Binnenin heb ik een gedeelte van de afbeelding Scene it - Birthday bears van Bugaboo stamps gebruikt en daarnaast heb ik de tekst geprint. Om het bij de voorkant van de kaart te laten passen heb ik voor bepaalde gedeeltes van de tekst regenboogkleurtjes gebruikt. De afbeelding binnenin is ook gekleurd met potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. 

I also decorated the inside of the card I used a part of the image Scene it - Birthday bears from Bugaboo stamps for the inside and next to it I added the other text( Dear..., are you coming to my party, date, time, adress and phonenumber, greetings....) I have used rainbow letters to match the inside of the card with the outside. The image inside is also coloured with pencils and a black glaze pen.

Nog een ruimtekaart

Hallo, ik kon het niet laten om nog een kaartje te maken voor de Ruimte challenge van Casology. Deze afbeelding van de Digistamp boutique is er namelijk perfect voor. Dit is Spaceship Henry. Ik heb de afbeelding samen met de tekst op de kaart geprint. Ik heb het ruimteschip gepaperpieced met rood stippenpapier van het Red devil paperpack van Bazzil basics. Het ruimteschip heb ik nog een keer extra geprint en nadat ik de grijze delen had gekleurd en het raampje met Henry, heb ik deze allemaal uitgeknipt en op de afbeelding geplakt. Daarna heb ik op het raampje glossy accents aangebracht. Op de sterretjes heb ik stickles aangebracht. Als laatste heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een kader rondom de kaart getekend.

Hello. I had to make another card for the Extraterrestrial challenge from Casology. This image from the Digistamp boutique is so perfect for it. This is Spaceship Henry. I printed the image together with the sentiment on the card. I paperpieced the spaceship with red dotted paper from the Red devil paperpack from Bazzil basics. I printed the spaceship and after I had coloured all the silver parts with my pencils, I cut those all out and adhered them on the image. Then I applied glossy accents on the window. On the stars I applied stickles. I added a black frame around the card with a black pen.

Bumba kerstkaart voor Menno

Hallo! Hier ben ik weer met een nieuw kaartje. Ik pas dit weekend op mijn kleine neefje Menno, dus ik was nog niet eerder aan posten toegekomen. We zijn vanochtend eerst naar een tuincentrum geweest, waar Menno met de kerstman op de foto mocht en vamiddag hebben we lekker thuis gespeeld. :) Nu ligt de kleine man lekker te slapen.
Ik laat nu maar meteen het kerstkaartje zien dat ik voor hem heb gemaakt. Menno is helemaal gek van Bumba en dus heb ik met een kleurplaat van Bumba een eenvoudig kerstkaartje voor hem gemaakt. Op internet vond ik een leuke kleurplaat waarop Bumba aan het jongleren is met ballen. Deze heb ik geprint en gekleurd met mijn potloden. Voor de ogen heb ik een zwarte glaze pen gebruikt. Op zijn neus heb ik glossy accents aangebracht. Op het hartje en op mijn muts heb ik stickles gebruikt. Op de kaart heb ik rood-wit gestipt papier uit het Northpole paperpad van Doodlebug geplakt. De bovenste hoeken van het designpapier heb ik afgerond met de corner chomper. De tekst heb ik op de computer gemaakt en deze heb ik onderaan het designpapier geplakt. Bumba is met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik een aantal sneeuwsterren uit wit papier geponst en deze heb ik rondom Bumba geplakt, zodat het net lijkt alsof hij met de sneeuwsterren aan het jongleren is. Op de sneeuwsterren heb ik stickles aangebracht.

Hello, here I am again with a new card. I am babysitting my little cousin Menno this weekend, so I wasn't able to post earlier today. This morning we went to a gardening centre. There was a santa clause, you can see the picture below. The rest of the day we were playing at home. Now the little man is sleeping. :)
I am showing you the christmas card that I made for Menno. Menno loves a tv show with the little clown Bumba, so I decided to make him a Bumba christmascard. On the internet I found a colouring page of Bumba throwing some balls in the air. I printed the image and coloured it with my pencils. For the eyes I used a black glaze pen. On his nose I added glossy accents. On the heart and his hat I used stickles. On the card I adhered red-white dotted paper from the Norhpole paperpad from Doodlebug. I rounded the uppercorners with the corner chomper. The sentiment was made with the help of the computer (Merry christmas and a happy new year, Menno). I adhered it on the bottom of the designpaper. I adhered Bumba with foamtape on the card. I used a snowflake punch to punch the snowflakes from white paper and then I applied stickles on them. 

Menno bij de kerstman, hij is op zijn oog gevallen en zijn kiezen komen door, dus vandaar het rode oog en de rode wangen. :)

This Menno together with the Santa clause. He has red cheeks because he is getting a new tooth and he also had a little accident at his daycar, that's why his cheeks and eye are so red. :)

Hoera Menno 1 jaar!!!

Hallo! Vandaag ga ik de eerste verjaardag van mijn neefje Menno vieren. Eigenlijk is hij morgen jarig maar we vieren het vandaag al. En natuurlijk moest ik een kaartje maken voor de kleine man. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om een spinnerkaartje te maken, want ik denk dat hij dat wel heel erg interessant vindt. Nu maar hopen dat hij hem niet in zijn handen krijgt, anders heeft de kaart geen lang leven ben ik bang. ;)

Ik heb de kaart gemaakt met een stempelsetje van The alley way stamps. Het vliegtuigje komt uit het setje Priceless Joy. Ik heb de afbeelding gestempeld met versamark ink en daaroverheen zwarte versafine inkt. Zo kon ik de afbeelding goed embossen met clear embossingpoeder, zodat de randjes mooi gaan glimmen. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding  uitgeknipt. De wolkenachtergrond is een digitale stempel van Hero arts van de stempelset Silly scapes. Ik heb er zelf een stippenlucht van gemaakt. Ik heb de sleuf en het voorpaneel daarna met de silhouette uitgesneden. Op de voorkant van de kaart heb ik daarna een tekst geprint die precies door de sleuf komt. De tekst heb ik uitgesneden met de silhouette.

Hello! Today we are celebrating my cousin Menno's first birthday. His birthday is actually tomorrow, but we are celebrating it today. So I had to make a card for the little man.I decided to make a spinnercard, because I think he will find it very interesting. ;)
I made my card with a stampset from The alley way stamps. The little airplane is from the set Priceless joy. I stamped the image with versamark ink and then I used black versafine ink. That way I could embos the image with clear embossing powder to give it a nice shine. I coloured the image with my pencils and then I cut it out. The cloudy background is a digital stamp from Hero arts from the Silly scapes set. I added dots onto the sky. I cut the frontpanel and the slid with the silhouette. On the front of the card I printed the sentiment (hip hip hooray). The red letters are cut with the silhouette.
