Merry christmas!

Hallo, ik wil iedereen een hele fijne kerst toewensen!

Vandaag laat ik nog een klein projectje zien. Ik heb namelijk voor mijn neefjes een aantal kerstpinguins gemaakt die in de kerstboom hangen. Ze hebben allemaal wat lekkers in hun vleugels, dat vinden mijn neefjes vast lekker! De pinguins zijn gemaakt met de silhouette. Ik heb hiervoor een bestaand pinguin patroon iets aangepast door de vleugels van de pinguin te verlengen zodat ik ze met een snoepje eronder kon vastplakken op zijn buik. Ik heb het bestand P is for penguin van Sarah Bailey gebruikt. Ik heb kleine wiebeloogjes op de pinguin geplakt. Ik heb een gaatje gemaakt in het hoofd van de pinguin en daar een wit touwtje doorheen gebonden zodat ik ze mooi in de boom kan hangen.

Ik zal verder dit jaar niets nieuws meer posten. De afgelopen tijd zat ik niet helemaal goed in mijn vel en heb ik niet veel geknutseld. Ik wilde wel graag, maar er kwam gewoon even niets uit mijn handen, het was gewoon te druk in mijn hoofd. Bovendien had ik het druk met andere dingen en daardoor heb ik dus niets om te posten. Ik merk nu langzamerhand dat ik wat meer zin en energie krijg om te knutselen en ben dus al wel met wat dingetjes bezig. Januari zal waarschijnlijk ook nog best druk zijn, omdat ik met een leuk privé kaarten project bezig ben. Heel leuk om te doen, maar wel veel werk! Maar toch hoop ik dat 2019 een creatiever jaar gaat worden, met wat meer kaarten en andere projecten op mijn blog!

Hello, I want to wish everyone a merry christmas!

Today I am showing you a little project. I have made a couple of christmas penguins for my nephews, that are for the christmas tree. They hold something delicious in their wings and I am sure my nephews will love them! I have made the penguins with the silhouette. I have adjusted the pattern a little bit, because I made their wings longer, so they can hold the chocolate in their belly with the wings. I have used the file P is for penguin by Sarah Bailey. I have glued wobbly eyes on the penguin. I made a little hole in their hat and tied them with white cord in the tree.

This will be my last post for this year. I haven't been feeling well the past few months, so I haven't been crafting a lot. I really wanted to, but nothing came out of my hands, my head was to full with other stuff. On top of that I have been really busy with other stuff, so I don't have anything to post. But slowly I notice I feel that I want to create again and I have to energy to actually do it. So behind the scenes I am already preparing some blogposts for the new year. January will probably very busy, because I am working  on a fun private card project. Very fun to do, but a lot of work! But I do hope 2019 will be more creative for me, with more cards and other projects!

Hello! Long time no see

Goedemiddag, zoals jullie al gemerkt hebben, heb ik een tijdje niets gepost op mijn blog. Eind mei is mijn vader overleden na ruim 2 jaar ziek te zijn geweest. Het is een heftige tijd geweest en dat is het nu nog steeds, waarin veel is gebeurd. 

Ik had dan ook even helemaal geen zin om kaarten te maken en zelfs maar om te kleuren, nu begint het langzamerhand weer een beetje te kriebelen en vanaf deze week ben ik dan ook hopelijk weer terug hier op mijn blog. 

Hello everyone, you may have noticed that I haven't posted anything for a while on my blog. At the end of may my dad passed away after being sick for 2 years. It has been and still is, a really difficult time.  

So I haven't been making cards at all but now I have started colouring and making cards again, so hopefully I will be posting on my blog again this week.

Hello long time no see - Tiddly Inks - Sending you smiles

Goedemorgen! Het is best een tijd geleden sinds mijn laatste post. Door niet zulke fijne  omstandigheden had ik even een tijdje geen zin om kaarten te maken en met mijn blog bezig te zijn. De situatie is helaas nog niet veranderd, maar ik ga toch proberen af en toe een kaartje te posten. Gewoon omdat het fijn is om een beetje afleiding te hebben van alles. Ik kan niet beloven dat ik regelmatig en veel post en misschien "verdwijn" ik soms wel weer even, maar het is helaas even niet anders nu.

Goodmorning! It has been a while since my last post. Some really bad things have happened and because of those circumstances I didn't have the energy to make cards and write blogposts. The situation hasn't changed, but I going to try to post some cards. Just because I like it and I need the distraction. I can't promiss that I will post a lot and maybe I need to "dissapear" again, but unfortunately I can't change that.

En nu over naar mijn kaartje! De laatste tijd zijn er weer veel nieuwe Tiddly Inks afbeeldingen uitgebracht en zoals altijd probeer ik met die afbeeldingen kaarten te maken. Nu loop ik nog flink achter, maar gelukkig is het wel gelukt om een kaartje te maken met Wryn swining along van Tiddly Inks. Ik heb zoals altijd mijn afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Uit wit papier heb ik daarna een rechthoek gesneden met de Femme frames - Creative cuts van Mama elephant. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ook nog uitgesneden met dezelfde die, zodat het stiklijntje mooi doorloopt op de afbeelding. De rest van de afbeelding heb ik daarna uitgeknipt. Ik heb uit groen karton een grasrandje gesneden met de Grass border van CC designs. De witte rechthoek heb ik daarna gekleurd met soap powder inkt van Jenni Bowlin en daarna Stormy sky distress inkt. Ik heb dit geheel met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik hieronder een tekst van de set Kimmie's everyday sentiments van Kraftin Kimmie stamps gestempeld.

And now onto my card! The past few weeks a lot of new Tiddly Inks images have been released and normally I try to make samples with these new images. This time I didn't make any samples, but I did make a card with the new Wryn swining along image from Tiddly Inks. I have colored the image as always with my pencils and the black glaze pen. I have cut a rectangle fro white paper with the Femme frames - Creative cuts from Mama elephant. Then I also cut the image with the same die, because I liked the stitched line on the image. I have cut the other part of the image out with my scissors. From green paper I have cut a border with the Grass border die from CC designs. I colored the white rectangle with soap powder ink from Jenni Bowlin and then Stormy sky distress ink. I adhered the whole image with foamtape on my card and then I added a sentiment from the set Kimmie's everyday sentiments from Kraftin Kimmie stamps under the image.

Hallo, vorige week ben ik teruggekomen na een vakantie van 3,5 week in Amerika. Het was weer geweldig. Ik heb heeeeeeel veeeeel gezien en wow wat een mooie natuur! Ik heb erg veel foto's gemaakt en hieronder zal ik wat foto's plaatsen.

Vakantie in Praag

Hallo! Vorige week ben ik op vakantie geweest naar Praag. Een hele mooie stad! We hebben redelijk geboft met het weer. Het was droog en niet te koud. Alleen op de laatste avond en de allerlaatste dag regende het. Ik had Annette beloofd om foto's te plaatsen en dat doe ik dus nu.
