Memory dex - Happy easter

Hallo, op de dag voor pasen post ik mijn laatste paasproject van dit jaar. Ik heb weer een nieuw kaartje gemaakt voor mijn Memory dex en deze keer heb ik het kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Happy easter chick van The digistamp boutique (no longer in business). Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt.

Ik heb mijn memory dex kaartje uit paars karton gestanst met de Bubble talk dies van AALL & create en de laag erop uit wit karton. Ik heb het karton in mijn stans laten zitten en daarna heb ik de achtergrond erop geblend met Tumbled glass en Broken china Distress ink. Omdat ik het papier in de stans had laten zitten, is er een hele kleine witte rand aan alle kanten overgebleven. Met de Petite clouds van My favorite things (no longer in business) heb ik een aantal wolken uit wit karton gestanst en deze heb ik op de achtergrond geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de achtergrond geplakt. Ik heb daarna het kaartje met de afbeelding op mijn paarse kaartje geplakt.

Hello, on the day before Easter I’m sharing my final Easter project of this year. Once again, I’ve made a new card for my Memory dex, and this time I created it using the digital stamp Happy Easter Chick from The Digistamp Boutique (no longer in business). I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and a White Uni Posca pen, and then cut it out.

I die-cut my Memory Dex card from purple cardstock using the Bubble talk dies from AALL & create, and the top layer from white cardstock. I left the cardstock in the die and then blended the background with Tumbled glass and Broken china Distress ink. Because I kept the paper in the die, a very fine white border remained around all the edges. Using the Petite Clouds from My Favorite Things (no longer in business), I die-cut several clouds from white cardstock and adhered them to the background. Then I attached the image using foam tape. Finally, I adhered the completed panel with the image onto my purple card.

Lili of the valley - Happy easter

Hallo, vandaag vlak voor pasen post ik nog even een paaskaartje dat ik heb gemaakt. Ik heb de digitale stempel Lotv easter tree (retired) van Lili of the valley geprint en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 van Crealies. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Easter cuties (retired) van CC. Designs op de afbeelding gestempeld. 

Voor mijn kaart heb ik roze karton gekozen. Ik heb de voorkant van de kaart geëmbost met de Marjoleine's stripes design folder (DF3456) van Marianne design. Ik heb een wit lintje rondom de voorkant van de kaart gebonden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Tuinportretjes: Little happy things - Enjoy the little things

Hallo, vandaag laat ik een tekening zien die ik heb gemaakt na het volgen van een workshop van Carla Kamphuis. Ik zag namelijk haar nieuwe cursus Tuinportretjes: Little happy things voorbij komen en die leek me heel erg leuk om te doen. 

Je kunt heel leuk kaartjes maken met deze kransen, maar ik heb ervoor gekozen om mijn eerste tekening in mijn Watercolour boek A6 Portret van Hahnemühle te maken. Ik heb eerst een potloodschets gemaakt en daarna heb ik alle afbeeldingen overgetrokken met mijn zwarte Unipin fineliners. Ik heb daarna alles ingekleurd met mijn Derwent inktense potloden. Ik heb met mijn potloden "gekrast" op het Aquarel mengpalet van Caran d'Ache en zo kon ik ze als aquarelverf gebruiken. 

Het was een leuke leerzame cursus en ik heb er van genoten. Het is toch erg leuk om vrij snel al zo'n leuke tekening te kunnen maken en ik heb nu al zin om de andere kransen van de cursus te maken. 

Hello, today I’m sharing a drawing I made after following a workshop by Carla Kamphuis. I came across her new course Tuinportretjes: Little happy things, which immediately looked like great fun to try.

You can make lovely cards with these wreath designs, but I chose to create my first drawing in my Watercolour book A6 Portret by Hahnemühle. I started with a pencil sketch, then traced all the illustrations using my black Unipin fineliners. After that, I coloured everything in with my Derwent inktense pencils. I “scratched” the pencils onto the Watercolour pallette from Caran d'Ache so I could use them like watercolour paint.

It was an enjoyable and educational course, and I really loved it. It’s so nice to be able to create such a lovely drawing quite quickly, and I’m already looking forward to making the other wreaths from the course.

Isabel Cristina stamps - Happy easter!

Hallo, een tijdje geleden heb ik een stans van een mini envelop gekocht en vandaag heb ik een klein paaskaartje (7x7 cm) gemaakt met een bijpassende envelop. Ik vind het een erg leuke uitdaging om kleine kaartjes te maken en daarom moest ik dit envelopje hebben. Op mijn kleine kaartje heb ik digitale stempels van de set Painting chicks (retired) van Isabel Cristina stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de verschillende afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt.

Mijn kleine kaartje is gemaakt van paars karton en met de Hand drawn squares with small stitches (D231074) van Gummiapan heb ik een vierkant uit wit karton gestanst. Op het vierkant heb ik met het Stencil "Slimline gras & wolken" (CDSL-0011) van Carlijn design en Versafine clair arctic inkt een wolken achtergrond gemaakt. Uit wit karton heb ik met de Grassy fields die van My favorite things (no longer in business een grasrandje gestanst en dat heb ik gekleurd met Twisted citron, Mowed lawn en Rustic wilderness Distress inkt. Ik heb het grasrandje op het vierkant geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen op mijn kaartje geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Eggtastic van Mama elephant op mijn kaartje gestempeld.

Hello, a little while ago I bought a die for a mini envelope, and today I made a small Easter card (7 × 7 cm) with a matching envelope. I really enjoy the challenge of making tiny cards, so I just had to have this little envelope. On my small card, I used digital stamps from the Painting chicks (retired) from Isabel Cristina stamps. I coloured the different images with my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen, and then cut them out.

My small card is made from purple cardstock, and I used the Hand drawn squares with small stitches (D231074) by Gummiapan to die-cut a square from white cardstock. On this square, I created a cloudy background using the Stencil "Slimline gras & wolken" (CDSL-0011) from Carlijn design and Versafine clair arctic ink. From white cardstock, I also die-cut a grassy border using the Grassy Fields die from My Favorite Things (no longer in business), and coloured it with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Rustic Wilderness Distress inks. I glued the grass border onto the square and then adhered the images to my card. Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the Eggtastic by Mama elephant onto the card.

Ik heb de Mini umschlag van Create a smile stamps uit paars karton gestanst en hoewel het kan, zou ik de volgende keer toch voor iets dunner papier kiezen, omdat het dan iets makkelijker is om het envelopje te vouwen en in elkaar te plakken.

I die-cut the Mini umschlag from Create a smile stamps out of purple cardstock, and although it works, next time I would choose slightly thinner paper, as it makes the envelope a bit easier to fold and assemble.

As you like it challenge 329 - Your favourite embellishment

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lee Holland. We willen deze challenge graag weten wat je favoriete versiering op een kaart is. Ik heb gekozen voor lint. Het geeft een leuk detail op een kaart, zeker met een strikje erin. Het maakt de kaart niet veel dikker, dus dat is nog een extra voordeel.

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de digitale stempel Bunny (retired) van Lee Holland. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb de onderkant van de afbeelding met een stans van de set Nellie's multi  frames MFD089 Straight easter egg van Nellie Snellen uitgestanst en daarna heb ik met dezelfde stans nog een eivorm uit wit karton gestanst. Op het witte ei heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things (out of business) en Peacock feathers Distress inkt een wolken achtergrond gemaakt. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding op het ei geplakt. Op een witte kaart heb ik geel stipjes papier van het Colour megapack brights van Find it media geplakt. Ik heb hier een wit lintje omheen gebonden en daarna heb ik het ei met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. De tekst is uit wit karton gestanst met de The perfect fit alpha die van A pocket full of happiness en nadat ik de tekst op de kaart heb geplakt, heb ik met een zwarte fineliner stipjes op de letters getekend.

For this challenge, we would like to know what your favourite embellishment on a card is. I have chosen ribbon. It adds a lovely detail to a card, especially with a little bow in it. It doesn’t make the card much thicker, which is an added bonus.

I made a card using the digital stamp Bunny (retired) by Lee Holland. I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura and a White Uni Posca pen, and then I cut the image out. I die-cut the bottom of the image using a die from the Nellie's multi  frames MFD089 Straight easter egg from Nellie Snellen, and then I used the same die to cut an egg shape from white cardstock. On the white egg, I created a cloudy background using the Mini Cloud Edges stencil by My Favourite Things (now out of business) and Peacock feathers Distress ink. I then adhered the image to the egg. On a white card base, I attached yellow polka dot paper from the Colour megapack brights from Find it media. I tied a white ribbon around it and then adhered the egg with the image to the card using foam tape. The sentiment was die-cut from white cardstock using The perfect fit alpha from A pocket full of happiness. After adhering the text to the card, I drew small dots on the letters with a black fineliner.

An easter treat box with Easter Bently

Hallo, vandaag laat ik een klein paascadeautje zien dat ik heb gemaakt voor een vriendin. Ik heb de digitale stempel Easter Bently van The Digistamp boutique (no longer in business) geprint en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt.

Met de Big box for gifts and advent large (CCABL33) van Crealies heb ik een leuk cadeauzakje uit wit karton gestanst. Op de voor- en achterkant van het zakje heb ik met het Mask stencil -2 layer Easter eggs (PS8182) van Marianne design een mooie achtergrond geblend met Picked raspberry, Squeezed lemonade en Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Je kunt eventueel de eieren versieren met de tweede laag van het stencil, maar dat vond ik een beetje te druk worden dus ik heb alleen de eieren gedaan. Nadat ik een zakje met chocolade paashaasjes in mijn zakje heb gedaan, heb ik het zakje gesloten met een stukje wit grosgrain lint en dat heb ik bij elkaar gebonden met paars borduurgaren.

I printed the digital stamp Easter Bently by The Digistamp boutique (no longer in business), then coloured the image using my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen. After that, I cut out the image.

Using the Box for gifts and advent large (CCABL33) by Crealies, I die-cut a lovely gift bag from white cardstock. On both the front and back of the bag, I blended a pretty background using the Mask stencil -2 layer Easter eggs (PS8182) from Marianne design with Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, and Peacock Feathers Distress inks. You can optionally decorate the eggs with the second layer of the stencil, but I felt that made it a bit too busy, so I only used the base egg layer. After placing a bag of chocolate Easter bunnies inside, I closed the bag with a piece of white grosgrain ribbon and tied it together with purple embroidery thread.

Plum loved art - March daily prompts - Rainy day Fiona

Een paar weken geleden heb ik mijn eerste tekening van Plum loved art gepost en toen schreef ik al hoe leuk ik het vond om ze te maken. Inmiddels heb ik al wat meer tekeningen (half) af en nu moet ik nog besluiten hoe ik ze ga inkleuren. Ik moet even goed uitzoeken wat een fijn medium is om in mijn boekje te werken, dus die zal ik later posten. 

Ik ben ondertussen wel aan de gang gegaan met één van de prompts van de March Plum daily doodles van Plum loved art. Deze keer heb ik mijn tekening op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano gemaakt met mijn Zwarte Unipin fineliners. Ik vind mijn pentekening al heel erg leuk, maar wilde toch ook de tekening inkleuren en dat heb ik afgelopen weekend eindelijk gedaan. 

A few weeks ago I shared my first drawing from Plum loved art, and I already mentioned how much I enjoyed making them. Since then, I’ve completed (or partly completed) several more drawings, and now I just need to decide how I want to colour them. I still need to figure out which medium works best in my sketchbook, so I’ll share those later.

In the meantime, I got started on one of the prompts from the March Plum daily doodles from Plum loved art. This time, I created my drawing on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano using my Black Unipin fineliners. I already really liked my pen drawing, but I still wanted to add colour, and I finally got around to doing that last weekend.

Ik wist eerst niet goed wel medium ik wilde gebruiken om mijn afbeelding in te kleuren en dit weekend heb ik gekozen voor mijn Derwent inktense potloden na het kijken van een youtube video waarin iemand met de inktense potloden aan het kleuren was. Ik ben heel blij met het eindresultaat. Ik vind de inktense potloden soms best moeilijk om mooi mee te kleuren en dat is nu best goed gelukt!

At first, I wasn’t quite sure which medium I wanted to use to colour my image, but this weekend I decided to go with my Derwent inktense pencils after watching a YouTube video of someone colouring with them. I’m really pleased with the final result. I sometimes find Inktense pencils quite tricky to work with, but this time it turned out really well!

A little easter treat

Hallo, ook vandaag heb ik weer een klein paasprojectje gemaakt. Met mijn Silhouette cameo heb ik namelijk een gablebox gesneden die mijn moeder heeft ontworpen. Ik heb mijn gablebox uit kraft karton gesneden en daarna heb ik het doosje versierd en gevuld met lekkere paaseitjes. 

Ik heb het doosje versierd met digitale stempels van de set Painting chicks (retired) van Isabel Cristina stamps. Ik heb de afbeeldingen gekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. Ik heb uit wit karton  een rechthoek gesneden en daarop heb ik een lucht geblend met Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Uit wit karton heb ik met de Grass border die (retired) van CC. Designs een grasrandje gestanst en deze heb ik gekleurd met Mowed lawn distress inkt. Ik heb het grasrandje op de rechthoek geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen op het rechthoek geplakt. In de lucht heb ik stipjes getekend met de witte Posca pen. Ik heb de rechthoek daarna op mijn gable box geplakt.

Hello, today I’ve made another small Easter project. Using my Silhouette cameo, I cut a gable box that my mum designed. I cut my gable box from kraft card, then decorated it and filled it with tasty Easter eggs.

I decorated the box with digital stamps from the Painting chicks (retired) by Isabel Cristina stamps. I coloured the images using my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen, and then I cut them out. From white card, I cut a rectangle and blended a sky onto it using Peacock feathers Distress ink. I also die-cut a grass border from white card using the Grass border die (retired) by CC. Designs, and coloured it with Mowed lawn distress ink. I glued the grass border onto the rectangle and then attached the images to it. In the sky, I added small dots using the white Posca pen. Finally, I attached the rectangle to my gable box.

Hallo, ik heb van moeder een schattig roze eierdoosje met lekkere chocolade paaseitjes van de Hema cadeau gekregen. Wel zat daar een opdracht bij, want ik moest het doosje zelf versieren. ;) Dus dat heb ik dan ook maar gedaan.

Hello, I received a cute pink egg box filled with delicious chocolate Easter eggs from the Hema as a gift from my mum. It did come with a little task though, as I had to decorate the box myself. ;) So of course, I went ahead and did just that.

Ik heb ervoor gekozen om een band van papier om het doosje te vouwen en daarop heb ik een vierkantje geplakt met versiering. Ik heb de digitale stempel Easter balloon chickie van The digistamp boutique (no longer in business) geprint en daarna heb ik deze ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Uit wit karton heb ik een vierkantje gestanst met de Hand drawn squares with small stitches (D231074) van Gummiapan en daarop heb ik een lucht geblend met Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Met de witte Posca pen heb ik stipjes in de lucht getekend en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op het vierkant geplakt. In het gras heb ik met een groene fineliner stipjes getekend. Op een smal strookje wit karton heb ik de tekst Happy easter van de stempelset Chirpy chirp chirp van Lawn fawn gestempeld en deze heb ik daarna op het vierkant geplakt. Het vierkant zelf heb ik ook met foamtape op de band geplakt.

I printed the digital stamp Easter balloon chickie from The digistamp boutique (no longer in business), then coloured it in using my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen. After that, I cut out the image.

From white cardstock, I die-cut a square using the Hand drawn squares with small stitches (D231074) by Gummiapan, and blended a sky onto it using Peacock feathers Distress ink. I added little dots in the sky with the white Posca pen, then attached the image to the square using foam tape. In the grass, I drew small dots with a green fineliner. On a narrow strip of white cardstock, I stamped the text “Happy Easter” from the Chirpy chirp chirp stamp set by Lawn fawn and then adhered it to the square. Finally, I attached the square itself to the band using foam tape.

An easter Milk carton

Hallo, het is bijna pasen en dus heb ik een klein doosje gemaakt dat ik lekker heb gevuld met paaseitjes. Op het doosje heb ik de digitale stempel Pachela studio Easter bunny van Cuddly buddly gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Ik heb mijn melkpakje met de Celebration carton snijmallen (CDSN-0336) van Carlijn design uit kraft karton gestanst. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 169 van Crealies heb ik een vierkant uit wit karton gestanst en ook heb ik hiermee de onderkant van de afbeelding gestanst. Op het witte vierkant heb ik met Peacock feathers Distress inkt en het Stencil "Slimline gras & wolken" (CDSL-0011) van Carlijn design een achtergrond gemaakt en daarop heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape geplakt. Ik heb de tekst uit wit karton gestanst met het Lowercase alphabet van Craft emotions (No longer in business) en die heb ik boven de afbeelding op mijn doosje geplakt. Het doosje is gevuld met chocolade eitjes en ik was echt verbaasd over de hoeveelheid eitjes die erin passen. Het doosje is niet heel erg groot, maar toch passen er 20 eitjes in, dus dat is een leuk cadeautje!

Hello, it is almost Easter, so I made a small box which I filled with delicious chocolate Easter eggs. On the box I used the digital stamp Pachela studio Easter bunny from Cuddly buddly. I coloured the image with my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura and a White Uni Posca pen, and then I cut out the image.

I die-cut my milk carton using the Celebration carton snijmallen (CDSN-0336) from Carlijn design out of kraft cardstock. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 169 from Crealies I die-cut a square from white cardstock, and I also used it to cut the bottom part of the image. On the white square I created a background using Peacock feathers Distress ink and the Stencil "Slimline gras & wolken" (CDSL-0011) from Carlijn design. I then attached the image on top with foam tape. I die-cut the text from white cardstock using the Lowercase Alphabet from CraftEmotions (no longer in business) and glued it above the image on my box. I filled the box with chocolate eggs and I was really surprised by how many eggs fit inside. The box is not very big, but it still holds 20 eggs, so it makes a lovely little gift!
