Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Rachelle Anne Miller. Deze keer willen we graag wie je favoriete persoon is om een kaartje voor te maken. Ik vind het heel leuk om kaarten voor mijn familie te maken en dan vooral mijn moeder of mijn neefjes. Ik heb deze keer een kaartje gemaakt voor mijn moeder, gewoon omdat ze altijd blij is met een kaartje of iets anders dat zelfgemaakt is.
Ik heb de digitale stempel Stacked chicks van Rachelle Anne Miller geprint in de no-line colouring variant, dus met grijze lijnen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb een mini slimline kaart gemaakt met de stansset Mini slimline M with postage stamp border (CLCZ93) van Crealies. De tweede laag is uit geel karton gestanst. Op de bovenste laag, die uit wit karton is gestanst, heb ik een achtergrond geblend met Versafine clair arctic inkt. Daarna heb ik met dezelfde kleur ink stipjes op de achtergrond gestempeld met een stempel uit set Handletter - Rainbow 2 van Craft emotions (out of business). Met de Slimline grass clouds horizon CR1583 (retired) van Marianne design heb ik een grasrandje uit wit karton gestanst en daarna heb ik het gras gekleurd met Twisted citron, Mowed lawn en Rustic wilderness Distress inkt en daarna heb ik het bovenop de blauwe achtergrond geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik de rest van de afbeeldingen rechtstreeks op de kaart geplakt. Met een stansje uit de set Snijmallen en stempels "ABC with me" van Carlijn design heb ik 2 tekstbalkjes uit het gele karton gestanst en daarna heb ik de tekst met dezelfde set uit zwart karton gestanst. Ik heb de tekst met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt.

For this challenge, we’d like to know who your favourite person is to make a card for. I really enjoy making cards for my family — especially for my mum or my nephews. This time I made a card for my mum, simply because she’s always happy to receive a card or anything handmade.
I printed the digital stamp Stacked chicks by Rachelle Anne Miller in the no-line colouring version, so with grey lines, and then coloured the image using my Polychromos pencils a Black glaze pen from Sakura and a White Uni Posca pen. After that, I fussy-cut the image. I created a mini slimline card using the Mini slimline M with postage stamp border (CLCZ93) by Crealies. The second layer was die-cut from yellow cardstock. On the top layer, which was die-cut from white cardstock, I blended a background using Versafine clair arctic ink. I then stamped small dots onto the background using the same ink colour and a stamp from the Handletter - Rainbow 2 from Craft emotions (out of business). Using the Slimline grass clouds horizon CR1583 (retired) from Marianne design, I die-cut a grass border from white cardstock. I coloured the grass with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks, and then adhered it on top of the blue background. I attached the main image to the card using foam tape and glued the remaining images directly onto the card. Finally, using a small die from the Snijmallen en stempels "ABC with me" by Carlijn design, I die-cut two sentiment strips from the yellow cardstock and then die-cut the text from black cardstock using the same set. I adhered the sentiment strips to my card with foam tape.
