As you like it challenge 333 - Your favourite season

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt de challenge gesponsord door Last minute Manda. Deze keer willen we weten wat je lievelings seizoen is. Ik vind dat alle seizoenen hun eigen charme hebben, maar als ik echt moet kiezen dan kies ik voor de lente. Het is de start van het mooiere weer, maar het is gelukkig nog niet te warm. De dagen gaan weer langer duren. De bomen krijgen weer blaadjes. Mensen worden weer vrolijker omdat ze de zon weer meer zien, dus een fijne tijd! 

Bij de lente horen tulpen en dus heb ik een kaart gemaakt met de digitale stempel Bunny tulips van Conie Fong. Deze afbeelding had ik ook voor de vorige challenge gebruikt. Ik had de afbeelding twee keer geprint en ook meteen twee keer gekleurd. Deze versie heb ik gekleurd in vrolijke lente lentekleuren met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en de witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Hand drawn squares with small stitches (D231074) van Gummiapan heb ik uit oranje design papier van het Spring sunburst paper pack van Sunny studio stamps een vierkant gestanst en deze heb ik op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb de onderkant van de afbeelding gestanst met de Hand drawn circles with small stitches (D231072) van Gummiapan en daarna heb ik met dezelfde stans een cirkel uit wit karton gestanst. Op de witte cirkel heb ik met Peacock feathers Distress inkt een achtergrond voor de afbeelding geblend. Ik heb een tekst van de clear stempelset Handletter - Huwelijk van Craft emotions (no longer in business) op mijn kaart gestempeld. Ik heb de andere hoeken van de kaart versierd met witte hotfix steentjes.

This time, we would like to know what your favourite season is. I think all the seasons have their own charm, but if I really had to choose, I would pick spring. It marks the beginning of warmer weather, although thankfully it is not too hot yet. The days start to get longer again, the trees begin to grow new leaves, and people seem happier because they get to enjoy more sunshine. It is such a lovely time of year!

Tulips are synonymous with spring, so I made a card using the digital stamp Bunny Tulips by Conie Fong. I also used this image for the previous challenge. I printed the image twice and coloured both copies at the same time. For this version, I used cheerful spring colours with my Polychromos pencils, a black glaze pen from Sakura, and a white Uni Posca pen. I then cut out the image. Using the Hand drawn squares with small stitches (D231074) by Gummiapan, I die-cut a square from orange patterned paper from the Spring sunburst paper pack from Sunny studio stamps and adhered it to a white card base. I die-cut the bottom of the image using the Hand drawn circles with small stitches (D231072) by Gummiapan, and then used the same die to cut a circle from white cardstock. On the white circle, I blended a background for the image using Peacock feathers Distress ink. I stamped a sentiment from the Handletter – Huwelijk clear stamp set by CraftEmotions (which is unfortunately no longer in business) onto my card. Finally, I embellished the remaining corners of the card with white hotfix gemstones.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lawn fawn. Deze keer willen we graag je favoriete kaarten schets zien en we willen ook graag weten waarom die je favoriet is. Ik maak graag kaarten met een kleine strip design papier aan de onderkant of juist aan de zijkant. Daarnaast heb je dan een groot stuk karton waarop je dan fijn je afbeelding en tekst kunt plaatsen. Ik ben niet goed in het gebruiken van design papier maar op deze manier lukt het zelfs mij. ;)

Ik heb deze keer een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Bunny tulips van Conie Fong. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een witte Uni Posca pen voor wat accentjes. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Ik heb een strip roze gestreept papier van het Dots & stripes pastels paperpad van Sunny studio stamps aan de zijkant van een A5 kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik met foamtape een stuk wit karton op de voorkant van de kaart geplakt. Met Tumbled glass distress inkt heb ik een achtergrond voor de afbeelding geblend op het witte karton. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de rand van het witte karton getekend en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Studio light Essentials Party (SL-ES-Stamp 177) (retired) van Studio light boven de afbeelding gestempeld. 

Hello, today a new challenge is starting again on the As you like it challenge blog, and this time we’re sponsored by Lawn fawn. This time, we’d love to see your favourite card sketch, and we’d also like to know why it’s your favourite. I enjoy making cards with a small strip of patterned paper at the bottom or along the side. This leaves you with a large area of cardstock where you can neatly place your image and sentiment. I’m not very confident using patterned paper, but this approach works even for me. ;)

This time, I made a card using the digital stamp Bunny Tulips by Conie Fong. I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, a black glaze pen from Sakura, and a white Uni Posca pen for a few highlights. I then cut out the image. I adhered a strip of pink striped paper from the Dots & stripes pastels paperpad by Sunny studio stamps to the side of an A5 card. Then I used foam tape to attach a piece of white cardstock to the front of the card. Using Tumbled glass distress ink, I blended a background for the image onto the white cardstock. I drew a line around the edge of the white cardstock with a black fineliner, and then attached the image to the card with foam tape. Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the Studio light Essentials Party (SL-ES-Stamp 177) (retired) from Studio light above the image.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Dies to die for, Voor de challenge van vandaag willen we graag weten of je liever felle kleuren of juist pastel kleuren gebruikt op je kaarten. Ik vind beide mooi, maar voor mijn gevoel zijn mijn kaarten meestal meer in felle kleuren, dus ik heb vandaag daar ook voor gekozen. 

Ik heb de prachtige klaprozen van de clear stempelset Poppies for you van The Stamp market gestempeld met Versafine clair nocturne inkt op aquarelpapier en daarna heb ik de afbeelding geëmbost met clear embossing poeder. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met Aquadrops van Schmincke die ik gemengd heb met wat druppels Iridescent medium van Winsor & Newton. Zo krijg je een mooie glitterverf, maar dat ik helaas niet goed te zien op de foto. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Op een roze kaart heb ik een rechthoek die ik uit zwart-wit streepjespapier van het Positive vibes paperpad van Craft sensations heb gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies geplakt. Uit wit karton heb ik een kader gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 110 van Crealies en dat heb ik op het designpapier geplakt. Ik heb de bloem met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt. De tekst is uit wit karton gestanst met het ABC with me alfabet (Jocelijne design) van Carlijn design. Ik heb de kaart versierd met witte hotfix steentjes.

Hello, today marks the start of a new challenge on the As you like it challenge blog , and this time we are sponsored by Dies to die for. For today’s challenge, we’d like to know whether you prefer to use bright colours or pastel shades on your cards. I like both, but I feel that my cards tend to feature brighter colours more often, so that’s what I’ve chosen to go with today.

I stamped the beautiful poppies from the Poppies for you clear stamp set from The Stamp market using Versafine clair nocturne ink onto watercolour paper, and then heat-embossed the image with clear embossing powder. I coloured the image using the Schmincke Aquadrops, which I mixed with a few drops of Iridescent medium from Winsor & Newton. This creates a lovely shimmering paint effect, although unfortunately it doesn’t show up very well in the photo. I then fussy-cut the image. On a pink card base, I adhered a rectangle cut from black-and-white striped paper from the Positive vibes paperpad from Craft sensations, die-cut using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies. I then die-cut a frame from white cardstock using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 110 from Crealies and layered it onto the patterned paper. I attached the flower to the card using foam tape. The sentiment was die-cut from white cardstock using the ABC with me alphabet (Jocelijne design) by Carlijn design. Finally, I embellished the card with white hotfix gems.

Hallo, vandaag post ik een kaartje dat ik al een jaar geleden had moeten posten op mijn blog. Ik heb dit kaartje namelijk gemaakt voor een challenge op het As you like it challenge blog, maar ik heb het nooit gepost op mijn blog, dus dat doe ik dan maar vandaag, want ik zou het zonde vinden om hem niet te posten.

Ik heb één van de afbeeldingen van de Maisy and Corey mice bundle van Conie Fong art geprint en daarna ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Ik heb op het onderste deel van de voorkant van een witte kaart paars gestreept papier van het Striped silly paper van Sunny studio stamps geplakt en daarna heb ik de onderste hoeken van de kaart afgerond met een pons. Ik heb een laag wit karton met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en daar heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape opgeplakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van het witte karton gedoodled. Daarna heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Penguin love van Alex Syberia designs op mijn kaart gestempeld. 

Hello, today I’m sharing a card that I should have posted on my blog a year ago. I actually made this card for a challenge on the As you like it challenge blog, but never got around to posting it, so I’m sharing it today—I’d hate for it not to be seen at all.

I printed one of the images from the Maisy and Corey mice bundle from Conie Fong art and coloured it with my Polychromos pencils, a black glaze pen from Sakura, and a white Uni Posca pen, then cut out the image.

On the bottom portion of the front of a white card, I adhered purple striped paper from the Striped silly paper from Sunny studio stamps and rounded the bottom corners with a punch. I added a layer of white cardstock to the card using foam tape, then attached the image on top with foam tape as well. Using a black fineliner, I doodled a line along the edges of the white cardstock. Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the Penguin love stamp set from Alex Syberia designs onto the card.

As you like it challenge 330 - A simple or fussy card

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lili of the valley. Deze challenge willen we graag weten of je liever eenvoudige kaarten maakt of juist drukke kaarten met veel versieringen. Ik ben erg fan van eenvoudige kaarten. Ik vind het belangrijk om de afbeelding de hoofdrol te laten spelen en ik gebruik meestal niet veel versieringen en als ik dat doe, dan zijn ze meestal klein en vrij plat.

Ik heb ook vandaag weer een verjaardagskaart voor mijn moeder gemaakt en deze keer heb ik één van de afbeeldingen van de stempelset Spring awakens colourful crocus van Studio EELZ op aquarel papier gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met mijn Derwent inktense potloden. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 169 van Crealies en daarna heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Handletter - Huwelijk van Craft emotions (no longer in business) naast de afbeelding gestempeld. Ik heb het rechthoek met de afbeelding met foamtape op een paarse kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes.

I’m definitely a fan of simple cards. I think it’s important to let the image take centre stage, and I usually don’t use many embellishments—if I do, they tend to be small and fairly flat.

Today I’ve also made another birthday card for my mum. This time, I stamped one of the images from the Spring awakens colourful crocus from Studio EELZ onto watercolour paper. I then coloured the image using my Derwent inktense pencils. After that, I die-cut the image using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 169 from Crealies, and stamped a sentiment from the Handletter – Huwelijk stamp set by Craft Emotions (no longer in business) next to the image. I attached the rectangle with the image to a purple card using foam tape and finished the card with a few black hotfix gems.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lee Holland. We willen deze challenge graag weten wat je favoriete versiering op een kaart is. Ik heb gekozen voor lint. Het geeft een leuk detail op een kaart, zeker met een strikje erin. Het maakt de kaart niet veel dikker, dus dat is nog een extra voordeel.

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de digitale stempel Bunny (retired) van Lee Holland. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb de onderkant van de afbeelding met een stans van de set Nellie's multi  frames MFD089 Straight easter egg van Nellie Snellen uitgestanst en daarna heb ik met dezelfde stans nog een eivorm uit wit karton gestanst. Op het witte ei heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things (out of business) en Peacock feathers Distress inkt een wolken achtergrond gemaakt. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding op het ei geplakt. Op een witte kaart heb ik geel stipjes papier van het Colour megapack brights van Find it media geplakt. Ik heb hier een wit lintje omheen gebonden en daarna heb ik het ei met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. De tekst is uit wit karton gestanst met de The perfect fit alpha die van A pocket full of happiness en nadat ik de tekst op de kaart heb geplakt, heb ik met een zwarte fineliner stipjes op de letters getekend.

For this challenge, we would like to know what your favourite embellishment on a card is. I have chosen ribbon. It adds a lovely detail to a card, especially with a little bow in it. It doesn’t make the card much thicker, which is an added bonus.

I made a card using the digital stamp Bunny (retired) by Lee Holland. I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura and a White Uni Posca pen, and then I cut the image out. I die-cut the bottom of the image using a die from the Nellie's multi  frames MFD089 Straight easter egg from Nellie Snellen, and then I used the same die to cut an egg shape from white cardstock. On the white egg, I created a cloudy background using the Mini Cloud Edges stencil by My Favourite Things (now out of business) and Peacock feathers Distress ink. I then adhered the image to the egg. On a white card base, I attached yellow polka dot paper from the Colour megapack brights from Find it media. I tied a white ribbon around it and then adhered the egg with the image to the card using foam tape. The sentiment was die-cut from white cardstock using The perfect fit alpha from A pocket full of happiness. After adhering the text to the card, I drew small dots on the letters with a black fineliner.

Deze keer willen we graag wie je favoriete persoon is om een kaartje voor te maken. Ik vind het heel leuk om kaarten voor mijn familie te maken en dan vooral mijn moeder of mijn neefjes. Ik heb deze keer een kaartje gemaakt voor mijn moeder, gewoon omdat ze altijd blij is met een kaartje of iets anders dat zelfgemaakt is.

Ik heb de digitale stempel Stacked chicks van Rachelle Anne Miller geprint in de no-line colouring variant, dus met grijze lijnen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb een mini slimline kaart gemaakt met de stansset Mini slimline M with postage stamp border (CLCZ93) van Crealies. De tweede laag is uit geel karton gestanst. Op de bovenste laag, die uit wit karton is gestanst, heb ik een achtergrond geblend met Versafine clair arctic inkt. Daarna heb ik met dezelfde kleur ink stipjes op de achtergrond gestempeld met een stempel uit set Handletter - Rainbow 2 van Craft emotions (out of business). Met de Slimline grass clouds horizon CR1583 (retired) van Marianne design heb ik een grasrandje uit wit karton gestanst en daarna heb ik het gras gekleurd met Twisted citron, Mowed lawn en Rustic wilderness Distress inkt en daarna heb ik het bovenop de blauwe achtergrond geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik de rest van de afbeeldingen rechtstreeks op de kaart geplakt. Met een stansje uit de set Snijmallen en stempels "ABC with me" van Carlijn design heb ik 2 tekstbalkjes uit het gele karton gestanst en daarna heb ik de tekst met dezelfde set uit zwart karton gestanst. Ik heb de tekst met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt.

This time I made a card for my mum, simply because she’s always happy to receive a card or anything handmade.

I printed the digital stamp Stacked chicks by Rachelle Anne Miller in the no-line colouring version, so with grey lines, and then coloured the image using my Polychromos pencils a Black glaze pen from Sakura and a White Uni Posca pen. After that, I fussy-cut the image. I created a mini slimline card using the Mini slimline M with postage stamp border (CLCZ93) by Crealies. The second layer was die-cut from yellow cardstock. On the top layer, which was die-cut from white cardstock, I blended a background using Versafine clair arctic ink. I then stamped small dots onto the background using the same ink colour and a stamp from the Handletter - Rainbow 2 from Craft emotions (out of business). Using the Slimline grass clouds horizon CR1583 (retired) from Marianne design, I die-cut a grass border from white cardstock. I coloured the grass with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks, and then adhered it on top of the blue background. I attached the main image to the card using foam tape and glued the remaining images directly onto the card. Finally, using a small die from the Snijmallen en stempels "ABC with me" by Carlijn design, I die-cut two sentiment strips from the yellow cardstock and then die-cut the text from black cardstock using the same set. I adhered the sentiment strips to my card with foam tape.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze week worden we gesponsord door Last minute manda. Deze keer willen we je favoriete kleur voor op een kaartje zien. Als je me goed volgt dan zal het geen verrassing zijn dat ik graag met de kleur roze werk op mijn kaarten en daarom heb ik deze keer een roze kaart gemaakt. Ik vind het gewoon een mooie kleur en dan vooral een een lekkere felle variant.

Ik heb de digitale stempel Maisie mouse with tulip plant van de Maisie mouse garden friends collection van Last minute manda ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 177 van Crealies heb ik een ovaal uit wit karton gestanst en daarop heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een stikrandje getekend. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op het ovaal geplakt en daarna heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Handletter: Rainbow 2 van Craft emotions (no longer in business) naast de afbeelding gestempeld. 

Op mijn roze kaart heb ik de achtergrond stempel Feinkariert van Create a smile stamps gestempeld met Versafine clair Charming pink inkt en dat geeft een mooi subtiel patroontje op mijn kaart. Ik heb een wit lintje rondom de voorkant van de kaart gebonden en daarna heb ik het ovaal met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart tenslotte versierd met zwarte enamel dots van de set Enamel dots black and white van Marianne design.

If you follow me regularly, it won’t come as a surprise that I love working with pink on my cards — so I’ve made a pink card for this challenge. I simply think it’s a beautiful colour — especially a lovely bright, vibrant shade of it.

I attached the image to the oval with foam tape and then stamped a sentiment from the Handletter: Rainbow 2 stamp set by Craft Emotions (no longer in business) next to the image.

On my pink card base, I stamped the Feinkariert background stamp from Create a smile stamps using Versafine Clair Charming Pink ink, which gives a lovely subtle pattern. I tied a white ribbon around the front of the card and then adhered the oval with the image on top using foam tape. Finally, I embellished the card with black enamel dots from the Enamel dots black and white from Marianne design.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lawn fawn. Deze keer willen we weten of je liever schattige of elegante kaarten maakt. Het zal geen verrassing zijn dat ik voor schattige kaarten heb gekozen, maar dat neemt niet weg dat ik het af en toe ook erg leuk vind om een elegante kaart te maken. Maar ik moet toegeven dat ik het wel heel erg leuk vind om kaarten te maken met schattige diertjes erop en daarom maak ik die heel graag.

Voor vandaag heb ik een valentijnskaartje gemaakt met de stempelset Valentine mice van Lawn fawn. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. Ik heb uit roze stipjes papier van het Polka-dot parade paper pack van Sunny studio stamps een vierkant gestanst met de Cardzz stansen 511 Dubbele kaart 10x10 cm (CLCZ511) van Crealies en daarna heb ik hier een frame uit gestanst met een stans van de set Cardzz stansen 512 Frame & inlay Anna 4x vierkant (CLCZ512) van Crealies. Ik heb dit frame met foamtape op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb in de 4 openingen met een blender wat Versafine clair arctic inkt aangebracht en daarna heb ik de 3 afbeeldingen in de openingen geplakt. In de vierde opening heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Valentine mice van Lawn fawn gestempeld.

Hello, today a new challenge starts again on the As you like it challenge blog, and this time we are being sponsored by Lawn fawn. This time we want to know whether you prefer making cute or elegant cards. It will come as no surprise that I chose cute cards, although that doesn’t mean I don’t also really enjoy making an elegant card from time to time. That said, I have to admit that I especially love making cards with cute little animals on them, so those are my absolute favourites to create.

For today, I made a Valentine’s card using the stamp set Valentine mice by Lawn fawn. I coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils and the Black glaze pen from Sakura, and then fussy cut the images. From pink polka dot paper from the Polka-dot parade paper pack by Sunny studio stamps, I die-cut a square using the Cardzz stansen 511 Dubbele kaart 10x10 cm (CLCZ511) from Crealies. I then cut a frame from this using a die from the Cardzz stansen 512 Frame & inlay Anna 4x vierkant (CLCZ512) from Crealies. I attached this frame to a white card base using foam tape. In the four openings, I blended some Versafine clair arctic ink, and then glued three of the images into the openings. In the fourth opening, I stamped a sentiment from the Valentine mice stamp set by Lawn fawn.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze week worden we gesponsord door Dies to die for. Deze keer willen we weten wat je favoriete stansen zijn om op een kaart te gebruiken. Al jaren ben ik een groot fan van de crea-nest-lies XXl stansen van Crealies. Dit zijn allerlei basisvormen en sommige stansen hebben een mooi sierrandje. Ik gebruik ze echt heel vaak op mijn kaarten en daarom heb ik voor de challenge van vandaag een kaart gemaakt met de stansen.

Ik heb de digitale stempel Birds letter (retired) van Sandra Herrgott gekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 166 van Crealies. Deze cirkels hebben een mooi schuin streepje langs de rand en dat geeft een leuk effect. Uit roze karton heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 van Crealies een cirkel met stipjes langs de rand. Ik heb de cirkel met de afbeelding op de roze cirkel geplakt. Daarna heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 van Crealies een geschulpte cirkel uit wit karton gestanst en daarop heb ik beide cirkels geplakt. Ik heb rondom de voorkant van een roze kaart een wit lint gebonden met een strikje en daarna heb ik de cirkels met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik met de Alfabet Jocelijne snijmallen (CDJD-0033) van Carlijn design de tekst uit wit karton gestanst en deze heb ik onder de afbeelding op de kaart geplakt.

This time we want to know which dies are your favourites to use on a card. For many years I have been a big fan of the Crea-Nest-Lies XXL dies by Crealies. These are all kinds of basic shapes, and some of the dies have a lovely decorative edge. I use them very often on my cards, so for today’s challenge I made a card using these dies.

I coloured the digital stamp Birds letter (retired) by Sandra Herrgott with my Polychromos pencils and the Black glaze pen from Sakura. I then die-cut the image using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 166 by Crealies. These circles have a lovely diagonal stripe along the edge, which gives a nice effect. From pink cardstock I die-cut a circle with dotted edging using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 by Crealies. I adhered the circle with the image onto the pink circle. Next, I die-cut a scalloped circle from white cardstock using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 by Crealies and adhered both circles onto it.

I tied a white ribbon with a bow around the front of a pink card and then attached the circles to the card using foam tape. Finally, I die-cut the text from white cardstock using the Alfabet Jocelijne snijmallen (CDJD-0033) by Carlijn design and adhered this underneath the image on the card.

Hallo, vandaag begint weer de eerste challenge van het jaar op het  As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lili of the valley. Deze keer willen we graag weten voor welke gelegenheid je het liefste kaarten of andere projecten maakt. Ik vind het erg leuk om verjaardags projecten te maken. Door een zelfgemaakte kaart of een klein zelfgemaakt cadeautje kan je een verjaardag extra speciaal maken en dat vind ik erg leuk om te doen.

Voor de challenge van vandaag heb ik een doosje gemaakt waar een reep chocolade in kan. Op het doosje heb ik de digitale stempel Elephant flowers van Lili of the valley gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Slimline C met ruwe randen (CLCZ183) (retired) from Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst die perfect op mijn doosje past. Op het karton heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things (out of business) en Versafine clair Bali blue inkt een wolken achtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op het rechthoek geplakt.

Hello, today the first challenge of the year starts again on the As you like it challenge blog, and this time we are sponsored by Lili of the valley. For this challenge, we would like to know for which occasion you most enjoy making cards or other projects. I really enjoy making birthday projects. With a handmade card or a small handmade gift, you can make a birthday extra special, and I love doing that.

For today’s challenge, I made a little box that can hold a bar of chocolate. On the box, I used the digital stamp Elephant flowers from Lili of the valley. I coloured the image using my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen, and then fussy cut the image.

Using the Slimline C met ruwe randen (CLCZ183) (retired) from Crealies, I die-cut a rectangle from white card that fits perfectly on my box. On the card, I created a cloud background using the Mini Cloud Edges stencil (retired) from My Favorite Things (out of business) and Versafine clair Bali blue ink. I then adhered the image to the rectangle using foam tape.

De tekst heb ik met de Birthday wishes die-namics (retired) van My favorite things (out of business) uit oranje karton gestanst en die heb ik naast de afbeelding op het doosje geplakt.

The sentiment was die-cut from orange card using the Birthday Wishes Die-namics (retired) from My Favorite Things (out of business), and I adhered it next to the image on the box.

Ik heb het doosje gevuld met een lekker reep chocolade.
