Hallo, Karin Joan heeft weer een nieuwe set Sketch stencils ontworpen en deze keer is het een exclusieve set voor Be creative shop geworden, namelijk de Sketch stencils - Pots & plants - Monstera. Het is weer een hele mooie set geworden met leuke vaasjes en mooi monstera bladeren. Vandaag laat ik 3 projecten zien die ik er mee heb gemaakt. 

Hello, Karin Joan designed a new set of Sketch stencils again, and this time it's an exclusive set for Be creative shop, namely the Sketch stencils - Pots & plants - Monstera. It's another beautiful set, featuring lovely vases and stunning Monstera leaves. Today, I will be showing three projects that I have made with it.

Mijn eerste project is een kaart geworden. Op een kraft kaart heb ik met de stencils een potloodschets gemaakt en daarna heb ik deze overgetrokken met Zwarte Unipin fineliners in verschillende maten. Met de fijne maten kun je erg mooi accenten toevoegen aan de tekening. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions (no longer in business) op mijn kaart gestempeld.

My first project is a card. On a kraft card, I created a pencil sketch using the stencils, and then I traced it with Black Unipin fineliners in various sizes. The finer sizes are great for adding beautiful accents to the drawing. I stamped a text from the stamp set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft Emotions (no longer in business) onto my card.

Voor mijn tweede project ben ik gaan experimenteren in mijn Sakura brush sketchbook black 12x12 cm van Royal Talens. Dit boekje gebruik ik om gewoon maar lekker wat te doodlen met mijn Uni Posca markers. Gewoon leuke patroontjes of eenvoudige tekeningen maken. Ik heb ergens online een tekening gezien van een monstera blad dat erg streperig was ingekleurd en dat wilde ik zelf proberen na te maken. Het is niet helemaal geworden zoals het voorbeeld dat ik heb gezien, maar ik ben wel erg blij met mijn eigen tekening. 

For my second project, I started experimenting in my Sakura brush sketchbook black 12x12 cm from Royal Talens. I use this little book to just doodle freely with my Uni Posca markers – creating fun patterns or simple drawings. I had seen a drawing online of a Monstera leaf that was coloured in a very striped pattern, and I wanted to try recreating it myself. It didn’t quite turn out like the example I saw, but I’m really happy with my own drawing.

Voor mijn laatste project heb ik een potlood schets gemaakt op wit parelmoer papier. Dit papier wat ik heb, is echt heel mooi en bijkomend voordeel, je kan er redelijk goed op werken met aquarelmarkers en/of verf. Ik heb mijn potloodschets overgetrokken met Zwarte Unipin fineliners. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens ingekleurd met de Tombow ABT Dual brush markers.

For my final project, I created a pencil sketch on white pearl paper. The paper I have is really beautiful, and an added bonus is that you can work quite well on it with watercolour markers and/or paint. I traced my pencil sketch with Black Unipin fineliners. I then coloured the image with the Tombow ABT Dual brush markers.

24 days of Christmas tags - Di's digi stamps - Penguins fun

Hallo, vandaag post ik weer een nieuwe tag voor mijn serie 24 days of Christmas tags. Deze keer heb ik een oudere afbeelding van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de digitale stempel Penguins fun (retired) van Di's digi stamps ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de Black glaze pen van Sakura. Ik heb daarna met een witte gelpen accentjes getekend op mijn afbeelding en daarna heb ik deze uitgeknipt. Ik heb de onderkant van de afbeelding gestanst met de Labels large (45.4513) van Leane creatief en daarna heb ik met deze zelfde stans set een tag uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb mijn witte karton in de stans laten zitten en daarna heb ik met Tumbled glass en Broken china Distress inkt een lucht geblend op de tag. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de tag geplakt. Ik heb witte stickerrondjes als sneeuw op de tag geplakt. Onder de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Small christmas sentiments van Create a smile stamps gestempeld. 

Hello, today I am posting a new tag for my project 24 days of Christmas tags. This time I have used an older image from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the digital stamp Penguins fun (retired) from Di's digi stamps with my Polychromos pencils and the Black glaze pen from Sakura. I have added lots of details on the image with a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the upper part of the image and the bottom part of the image was cut with the Labels large (45.4513) from Leane creatief. I used the same dies to cut a tag from white cardstock. I left the cardstock in the die and used Tumbled glass and Broken china Distress ink to ink blend a background on the tag. I have glued the image with foamtape on the tag. I used white sticker dots on the background to make it look like it is snowing. Under the image I have stamped a sentiment from the set Small christmas sentiments from Create a smile stamps.

Advent calendar for my mother - Day 3

Hallo op dag 3 van de advents kalender (klik op het linkje voor alle posts) voor mijn moeder heb ik pandadrop cadeau gegeven en daarom heb ik mijn doosje ook versierd met een panda. De panda heb ik gemaakt met de Cuteepets Benny Bear van Karin Joan en voor de cadeautjes en de kerstmuts heb ik de Cuteepets Christmas cat van Karin Joan gebruikt. Ik heb eerst een schets met potlood gemaakt en toen ik helemaal tevreden was, heb ik de schets overgetrokken met mijn Zwart Unipin fineliners. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Black glaze pen van Sakuraen een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 8 van Crealies en daarna heb ik uit rood karton een groter vierkant gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 128 van Crealies. Voor de panda drop heb ik een doosje en lade gemaakt van ecru karton. Ik heb gaatjes in het doosje gestanst en daarna heb ik het gesloten met ecru seam binding. Het getal 3 heb ik uit rood karton gestanst met de Retro number trio (retired) van Elizabeth craft designs en daarna heb ik het getal op het doosje geplakt.

Hello on day 3 for the advent calendar (click on the link for all posts) for my mother I gave my mother a package of panda licorice and that is why I had to decorate my box with a panda. The panda is made with the Cuteepets Benny Bear from Karin Joan and for the presents and christmas hat I have used the set Cuteepets Christmas cat from Karin Joan. I first made a sketch with a pencil and then I traced the image with my Black Unipin fineliners. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura and a white gelpen. I have cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 8 from Crealies. I have cut a larger square from red cardstock with theCrea-nest-lies XXL 128 from Crealies and glued the image on top of it. For the panda licorice I designed a box and a drawer from cream cardstock. I have cut 2 holes in the top of the box and closed the box with cream seam binding. I have cut the number 3 from red cardstock with the Retro number trio (retired) from Elizabeth craft designs and glued it on the box.

Binnen in het doosje zit een laatje waar de vier reepjes panda drop in passen. 

Inside the box I have decorated a drawer that holds the panda licorice.

Karin Joan - Sketching stencils Cuteepets Benny bear

Hallo, afgelopen maand kwam er weer een nieuwe release uit van Karin Joan met haar Sketching stencils. Dit weekend heb ik een eerste tekening gemaakt met de Sketching stencils Cuteepets Benny bear from Karin Joan. Met deze set kun je een leuk beertje of panda tekenen en er zitten ook nog wat accessoires bij om er een verjaardagsthema van te maken. Ik heb de tekening nu gemaakt en ga nog kijken of ik er een kaartje mee ga maken, maar omdat deze panda perfect past bij de opdracht van dag 4 voor de Kostuum diertjes teken je zo november 2024 challenge van Paperfuel post ik hem nu alvast en maak ik er later een kaartje mee.

Ik heb mijn tekening gemaakt op het papier van het Aquapad van Clairefontaine met Zwarte Unipin fineliners. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met mijn Derwent inktense potloden. 

Hello, last month 2 new Sketching stencils sets have been released by Karin Joan. This weekend I have made a drawing with the set Sketching stencils Cuteepets Benny bear from Karin Joan. With this set you can easily draw a cute bear or panda. In the set are also some birthday accessories, so you can add a birthday theme. I have made my drawing and I want to make a card with it, but because this drawing is perfect for Day 4 - Pink panda from the Kostuum diertjes teken je zo november 2024 challenge from Paperfuel, I am already posting the drawing today. 

I have made my drawing on the paper from the Aquapad from Clairefontaine with Black Unipin fineliners. Then I coloured the panda with my Derwent inktense pencils

Di's digi stamps - Memorydex card

Hallo, ik vond het weer eens tijd om een kaartje te maken voor mijn Memory dex en dat heb ik gedaan met een afbeelding van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding Aeroplane racoon van Di's digi stamps geprint en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de Black glaze pen van Sakura en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb mijn memory dex kaartje gemaakt van roze en wit karton met de Cutting Die Rolodex - no.2 van Vaessen Creative. Op het witte kaart heb ik een achtergrond gemaakt met Tumbled glass en Broken china Distress inkt en daarna heb ik met het Lots of love stencil van Echo park wat hartjes op de achtergrond aangebracht met de Broken china Distress inkt. Ik heb met een witte gelpen lijntjes langs de randen van het witte karton getekend. Uit wit karton heb ik een aantal wolken gestanst met de Mini clouds (retired) van Memory box en deze heb ik op de achtergrond geplakt. Ik heb nog een extra laag gestanst voor mijn memory dex kaartje en ik heb de bovenkant daarvan gestanst met de Grassy hills die-namics (retired) van My favorite things. Het gras heb ik gekleurd met Twisted citron, Mowed lawn en Rustic wilderness Distress inkt en met een witte gelpen heb ik stipjes op het gras getekend. Ik heb de Thin pine tree (D220938) van Gummipan uit wit karton gestanst en deze heb ik gekleurd met Mowed lawn en Rustic wilderness Distress inkt. Ik heb de boom op de achtergrond geplakt en daarna heb ik grasrandje erover heen geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op mijn kaartje geplakt. 

Hello, I decided to make a card for my Memory dex again after a long while and I made one with an image from Di's digi stamps. I printed the image Aeroplane racoon from Di's digi stamps and then I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the Black glaze pen from Sakura and then I have fussy cut the image. I have made my memory dex card from pink and white cardstock with the set Cutting Die Rolodex - no.2 from Vaessen Creative. On the white cardstock I have made a background with Tumbled glass and Broken china Distress ink. I added a couple of hearts with the Lots of love stencil from Echo park and Broken china Distress ink. With a white gelpen I have drawn lines around the edges of the background. From white cardstock I have cut a couple of clouds with the Mini clouds (retired) from Memory box and then I glued those on the background. I cut another layer for my memory dex card and cut the top of it with the Grassy hills die-namics (retired) from My favorite things. I coloured the grass with Twisted citron, Mowed lawn and Rustic wilderness Distress ink and dots on the grass with a white gelpen. With the Thin pine tree (D220938) from Gummiapan I have cut a tree from white cardstock and coloured it with Mowed lawn and Rustic wilderness Distress ink. I glued the tree on the background and then the grass hill on top of that. I glued the image with foamtape on the card.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag een tekst op je kaartje zien. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Teddy's love van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Black glaze pen van Sakura en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Op een witte kaart heb ik een strip rood-wit stipjespapier van het Swiss dots rainbow petite prints paperpad van Doodlebug geplakt nadat ik hier eerst wit borduurgaren omheen heb gebonden. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen (retired) van Craft emotions op de kaart gestempeld.

Dit was mijn laatste kaartje als lid van het Di's digistamps design team. omdat ik heb besloten om er na 7,5 jaar mee te stoppen. Ik wil Diane heel erg bedanken voor al die tijd. Het was genieten om met haar afbeeldingen te werken en dat zal ik ook blijven doen!

This was my last card as a member from the Di's digi stamps design team, because I have decided to step down after 7,5 years. I want to thank Diane for an amazing time. I really enjoyed working with her images and no worries you will still see her images on my blog after today!

Ik heb voor deze challenge een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Sausage tree van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Black glaze pen van Sakura en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een witte kaart heb ik rood-wit stipjespapier van het Swiss dots rainbow petite prints paperpad van Doodlebug geplakt. Uit wit karton heb ik met de Stamp frames (COL1532) van Marianne design een rechthoek gestanst. Ik heb hier met een zwarte fineliner een kader op getekend en daarna heb ik de rechthoek op mijn kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en naast de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Festive mice and bears van Lili of the valley gestempeld.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag een handgekleurde afbeelding op je kaartje zien. Ik heb deze keer een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Little mouse mug van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Black glaze pen van Sakura en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Ik heb de onderkant van een stukje roze design papier van het Polka dot parade paper pack van Sunny studio stamps gestanst met de Scallop border dies van Pretty pink posh. Ik heb hier witte seam binding omheen gebonden en daarna het design papier op een witte kaart geplakt. Met een blending brush heb ik Versafine clair arctic inkt op de kaart aangebracht en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Naast de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Spilling tea (retired) van Clearly besotted stamps gestempeld.

I have fussy cut the image. I have cut the bottom edge of pink patterned paper from the Polka dot parade paper pack from Sunny studio stamps with the Scallop border dies from Pretty pink posh. I have tied white seam binding around the pink paper and then I glued it on a white card. With a blending brush I have applied Versafine clair arctic ink and then I glued the image with foamtape on the card. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Spilling tea (retired) from Clearly besotted stamps on the card.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze challenge wordt gesponsord door Dies to die for. Deze keer willen we je favoriete kleurencombinatie van 2 kleuren weten. Ik heb voor groen en roze gekozen. Ik hou heel erg van de kleur roze en in combinatie met groen wordt de kleur nog mooier. Het is de perfecte kleurencombinatie voor een mooie bloem en daarom heb ik vandaag een bloemenkaart gemaakt.

Ik heb met de Slimline frames (CR1537-retired) van Marianne design een rechthoek uit Florence watercolour paper smooth 300 gram van Vaessen creative gestanst. Hierop heb ik met de Sketch stencils Floral 2 van Karin Joan met potlood een mooie bloem gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna overgetrokken met verschillende maten Black Unipin fineliners. De bloem heb ik ingekleurd met de Molotow sketcher markers. De zwarte bolletjes in de bloem zijn gekleurd met de Black glaze pen van Sakura. Nadat de afbeelding helemaal droog was, heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Birthday sentiments van Uniko gestempeld onder de bloem. Met de Slimline frames (CR1537-retired) van Marianne design heb ik nog een geschulpte rechthoek gestanst en hier heb ik de rechthoek met bloem geplakt. Daarna heb ik ze samen met foamtape op een slimline kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes.

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and this time we are being sponsored by Dies to die for. This time we want to see your favourite 2 colour combination. I have picked pink and green. I really love the colour pink and love combining it with green. It is such a fresh combination. These colours are perfect for flowers, so today I decided to make a flower card.

I have cut a rectangle panel with the Slimline frames (CR1537-retired) from Marianne design from Florence watercolour paper smooth 300 gram from Vaessen creative. On this panel I have made a lovely flower with the help of the Sketch stencils Floral 2 from Karin Joan. I have traced my pencil sketch with a couple of sizes Black Unipin fineliners. The flower is coloured with Molotow sketcher markers. I used the Black glaze pen from Sakura to colour the black dots inside the flower. I have stamped a sentiment from the stamp set Birthday sentiments from Uniko on the bottom of the panel. With the Slimline frames (CR1537-retired) from Marianne design I have cut a scalloped rectangle and I glued the panel with the flower on top of it. I glued them together on a slimline card with foamtape. The card is decorated with black hotfix gems.

Hallo, vandaag begint een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag de zon en/of zand en/of water op je kaartje zien. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met water erop. Op mijn kaart heb ik de digitale stempel Dreamboat mice van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Black glaze pen van Sakura en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. 

Met de Slimline A (CLCZ181) van Crealies heb ik een geschulpte rechthoek voor een slimline kaart gestanst uit groen karton. Met de Slimline D met dubbele stiklijn (CLCZ184) van Crealies heb ik daarna een kleinere rechthoek uit roze stipjespapier van de Rainbow brights Slimline paper collection (retired) van Trinity stamps gestanst en dit heb ik op de rechthoek geplakt. Daarna heb ik nog een keer een rechthoek van hetzelfde formaat gestanst uit wit karton. Daarna heb ik hier met een cirkelstans een cirkel uit gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 21 van Crealies. Hierop heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Met de Stitched wave borders die van Lawn fawn heb ik golven gemaakt en die heb ik gekleurd met Prize ribbon Distress inkt. Met een witte gelpen heb ik accentjes op de golven getekend. Ik de cirkel met wolken op mijn kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding op mijn kaart geplakt en als laatste heb ik golven op de kaart geplakt. Met de Cutie ABC die set van Whimsy stamps heb ik mijn tekst uit wit karton gestanst en deze heb ik op de kaart geplakt. 

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog and this we would like to see the sun and/or water and/or sand on your card. I have made a card with water and used the digital stamp Dreamboat mice from Di's digi stamps on it. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. 

With the Slimline A (CLCZ181) from Crealies I have cut a scalloped rectangle for a slimline card. With the Slimline D met dubbele stiklijn (CLCZ184) from Crealies I have cut a smaller rectangle from pink dotted paper from the Rainbow brights Slimline paper collection (retired) from Trinity stamps and I glued it on the green rectangle. I have cut another rectangle but this time from white cardstock. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 21 from Crealies I cut it into a circle shape. On this circle I have made a cloudy background with the Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink and then I glued it on the card. With the Stitched wave borders die van Lawn fawn I have made a wave border that I coloured with Prize ribbon Distress ink. With a white gelpen I added some little accents on the waves. I have glued the image on the cloudy background and then I added the waves. With the Cutie ABC die set from Whimsy stamps I have cut the sentiment (much love) from white cardstock and then I glued it on the card.

Di's digi designs challenge - Furry friends

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag dieren met een vacht op je kaart zien. Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de digitale stempel Pussycat basket van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Black glaze pen van Sakura en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Op een witte kaart heb ik een strip blauw ruitjespapier van de Gingham pastels papers van Sunny studio stamps geplakt, nadat ik daar eerst wit borduurgaren omheen heb gebonden. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de tekst met het Classic alphabet (D181201) van Gummiapan uit wit karton gestanst en deze heb ik naast de afbeelding op het blauwe papier geplakt. Ik heb de kaart versierd met een paar hartjes van de Puffy dream stickers van Kimidori.

I have made a card with the digital stamp Pussycat basket from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image.

On a white card I have glued a strip of blue gingham paper from the Gingham pastels papers from Sunny studio stamps after I tied White embroidery thread around it. I glued the image with foamtape on the card. I have cut the sentiment with the Classic alphabet (D181201) from Gummiapan from white cardstock and glued it on the card. I decorated the card with a couple of hearts from the Puffy dream stickers from Kimidori.

Di's digi designs challenge - Flower frenzy

Hallo, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag bloemen op je kaartje zien. Ik heb voor deze challenge een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Beary special van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Black glaze pen van Sakura en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt.

Ik heb uit wit karton een grote ovaal gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 75 van Crealies. Op het ovaal heb ik met een inkt blending brush Tumbled glass distress inkt aangebracht. Op een witte kaart heb ik ruitjespapier van het Tiny prints paperpad van Avec geplakt en daarop heb ik de ovaal geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Op een stripje wit papier heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Love buds (retired) van My favorite things gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze onder over de afbeelding geplakt.

For this challenge I have made a card with the digital stamp Beary special from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. 

I have cut a large oval from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 75 from Crealies and made a background on it with a blending brush and Tumbled glass distress ink. On a white card I have added gingham paper from the Tiny prints paperpad from Avec and then I glued the oval on top of it. I added the image with foamtape on the card. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Love buds (retired) from My favorite things on a strip of white cardstock and I glued it on the image.
