Hallo, vandaag post ik weer een tekening die ik heb gemaakt voor World watercolour maand en deze keer heb ik een tutorial van Ellen Crimi-Trent gevolgd. Ik heb een keer iets nieuws gedaan, wat ik nog nooit heb gedaan, namelijk een landschap schilderen en dat was heel leuk om ook eens te doen. Ik heb de tutorial Beach painting - Mini Monday Madness op youtube gevolgd. Ik heb de tekening gemaakt op aquarelpapier van Baohong met Winsor & Newton Cotman aquarelverf. 

Hello, today I am posting a drawing that I have made for World watercolour month and this time I followed a tutorial from Ellen Crimi-Trent. I did something new, that I have never done before, because I painted a landscape and I had so much fun creating it. I have done the tutorial Beach painting - Mini Monday Madness on youtube. I have made the drawing on watercolour paper from Baohong with my Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolours.

Diane Antone Studio - How to paint a pelican and a seagull

Goedemorgen, vandaag laat ik een tekening zien die ik heb gemaakt na het volgen van een tutorial van Diane Antone Studio. Ik heb de tutorial Youtube - How to paint a pelican and a seagull in the sea gevolgd. Ik heb de tekening eerst met potlood in mijn Watercolour book A5 portret van Hahnemühle gemaakt. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding gekleurd met Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolours. In deze tutorial werd wat losser gekleurd en dat wilde ik ook eens proberen. Het was erg leuk om te doen, hoewel ik wel echt de neiging heb om alles netjes en helemaal in te kleuren. Toen ik klaar was met de aquarelverf en de afbeelding helemaal droog was, heb ik met een zwarte fineliner de lijntekening gemaakt.

I have followed the tutorial Youtube - How to paint a pelican and a seagull in the sea. I have made my drawing with a pencil in the Watercolour book A5 portret from Hahnemühle. I have used Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolours to colour the image. In this tutorial I hade to colour very loose and I really wanted to try that. I love how it looks, but I did have a hard time because I tend to colour everything with smooth blending. After the painting was totally dry, I made the line drawing with a black fineliner.

Tiny painting challenge - A little flower painting

Goedemorgen, gisteren heb ik meegedaan aan een challenge van de Watercolor - Beginners and beyond facebookgroup. Daar hebben ze deze week de Tiny painting challenge van Watercolors beginners and beyond. Je moet dus een hele kleine aquarel maken die maximaal 4 bij 4 cm groot mag zijn. Ik wilde mijn papier snijden, maar zat niet op te letten, dus ik heb per ongeluk een aquarel van 3 bij 3 cm gemaakt. Ik heb met een zwarte fineliner kleine bloemetjes getekend. Hierbij was ik geinspireerd door de tekeningen van Shayda Campbell. Ik heb de tekening gemaakt op Aquarel papier smooth Wit 200 gram van Vaessen creative. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met een klein kwastje en de Winsor & Newton Cotman aquarelset. Het is me zelfs gelukt om wat werking in de bloemen te krijgen. Het was een leuke challenge om aan mee te doen en ik denk dat ik me nog wel een keer aan een tiny painting ga wagen.

Goodmorning, yesterday I have joined a challenge from the Watercolor - Beginners and beyond group on facebook. This week they have a Tiny painting challenge from Watercolors beginners and beyond. You have to make a tiny watercolour painting that cannot be larger than 4 by 4 cm. I was cutting my paper and I didn't pay attention to it, so I have cut a piece of paper that is 3 by 3 cm. I have drawn little flowers on my painting with a black fineliner. I was inspired by the flower drawings from Shayda Campbell. I have made my drawing on Aquarel papier smooth Wit 200 gram from Vaessen creative and then I painted the image with Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolours. I love that I was able to even get some effect in my painting. It was a fun challenge and I am looking forward to make another tiny painting.

Goodmorning, this is day 11 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag post ik een Clean and simple kaartje. Op een klein wit kaartje heb ik dit schattige beertje met ballon van de stempelset Joyful heart bears van My favorite things gestempeld. Hoewel het geen aquarelpapier is waarop ik de afbeelding heb gestempeld, heb ik de afbeelding toch ingekleurd met de Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolours. Ik heb niet te veel water gebruikt en dat ging eigenlijk verrassend goed op dit karton.

Today I am posting a Clean and simple card. On a tiny white card I stamped this cute bear with heart balloon from the stampset Joyful heart bears from My favorite things. Although it isn't watercolour cardstock I decided to colour the image with the Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolours. I didn't use a lot of water and I am pretty satisfied with the end result.

Goodmorning, this is day 14 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag post ik mijn eigen versies van een ontzettend mooie kaart van Michelle van het blog Cardgrotto. Haar kaart is zo mooi gemaakt, daar moest ik gewoon mijn eigen versies van maken. Het kaartje is in opdracht gemaakt voor mijn tante voor een Duitse kennis van haar.
Ik ben begonnen met het printen van de tekst op een stuk WaterArt karton. Daarna heb ik 2 grote bloemen van de stempelset Anna's collection - Floral greetings van Hobby art clear (Retired) met versamark inkt op WaterArt karton gestempeld en daarna heb ik ze geëmbost met witte embossingspoeder. De bloemen heb ik daarna ingekleurd met de Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolours. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 van Crealies en die heb ik met foamtape op een kaart geplakt.

Today I am posting my own versions from a card made by Michelle from the blog Cardgrotto. I loved  her card so much, that I really wanted to make my own versions. This card was requested by my aunt for German friends. 
I started with printing a sentiment on WaterArt cardstock. Then I stamped the large flower from the set Anna's collection - Floral greetings from Hobby art clear with versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I have coloured the flowers with Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolours. I have die-cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies and then I adhered the image with foamtape on the card.

Toen ik mijn paarse kaart klaar had, heb ik besloten om nog een kaart te maken in andere kleuren. Deze kaart heb ik ingekleurd met de Mijello mission gold watercolours. Deze keer heb ik het rechthoek uitgestanst met een stiklijn rondom met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 24 van Crealies.

When I finished my purple card I decided to make another card in another colour. This card is coloured with the Mijello mission gold watercolours. This time I have die-cut a rectangle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 24 from Crealies that has a stitched edge around.
