Tiddly Inks 7 - Going goth!

Goedemorgen allemaal! We zijn vandaag alweer toe aan de 7e challenge van Tiddly Inks en deze week was het een echte challenge voor me. Deze week willen we graag een gothic kaartje zien. In de Tiddly Inks shop staan hele leuke cute gothic stempels dus de afbeelding uitzoeken was niet echt moeilijk. :) Ik heb gekozen voor Happy couple en zoals altijd heb ik gekleurd met mijn derwent potloden. De kleuren heb ik expres een beetje flets gelaten. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de labels one nestabilities. Rondom de afbeelding heb ik swirls gestempeld en met grijs krijt heb ik de randen bewerkt. De ogen van het bruidspaar zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen en de jurk van de bruid is helemaal gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Het zwarte papier is Co'ordinations papier, de kern is lichtpaars. Ik heb het geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder en daarna heb ik het papier bewerkt met een schuurpapiertje. De randen  van het zwarte papier zijn gedistressed. Ik had nog een klein stripje van het zwarte co'ordinations papier over en daar heb ik de paarse achterkant van gebruikt. Ik heb hierop met een zwarte fineliner de streepjesachtergrond getekend. De bloemen zijn geponst met de retro ponsen. De grote zwarte bloemen zijn ook geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder en op de kleine bloemtjes heb ik met de zwarte glaze pen stippen gezet. In het midden van de bloemetjes heb ik een vierkant hotfix steentje geplakt.

Goodmorning everyone! Today we are starting on the 7th Tiddly Inks challenge and this week it was a real challenge. This week we want to see gothic cards. In the Tiddly Inks shop you can find a lot of cute gothic images so picking an image wasn't really hard! :) I have chosen the Happy couple and as always I coloured them with my derwent pencils. I didn't use very bright colors. I used the nestabilities labels one to cut the image out. On the edges of the label I stamped a couple of swirls and I went over the edges with grey chalk. The eyes of the couple are colored with a black glaze pen and I coloured the whole dress of the girl with a clear spica glitter pen. The black paper is Co'ordinations paper, the inside of it is light purple. I embossed it with the swiss dots embossing folder and then I sanded the dots. The edges of the black paper are distressed. I had a leftover strip of the black paper and I used the purple back of the paper. With a black fineliner I have drawn some lines on it. The flowers are made with the retro punches. The large black ones are embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder. I used the black glaze pen to draw dots on the little purple ones. In the middle of the flowers I used a black hotfix stone.

Verjaarsdagkaartje Marianne

Afgelopen weekend heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt voor de verjaardag van Marianne. Ze heeft het kaartje inmiddels ontvangen en dus kan ik hem nu op mijn blog posten. De stempel die ik heb gebruikt is van Lili of the valley en ik heb het lieve feetje ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Haar vleugels heb ik ook nog gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Ik heb chalk gebruikt om om de afbeelding heen nog wat kleur aan te brengen. Ik heb de cirkel nestabilities gebruikt om de afbeelding uit te stansen. Ik heb op de kaart zelf gestempeld met een klein bloemetje dat uit een stempelsetje van Fiskars komt. Deze bloemetjes zijn ook gekleurd met derwent potloden en ook de bloemetjes heb ik gekleurd met de clear spica glitter pen. Het roze bazzil papier is geëmbost met de diamonds and dots embossing folder van quickutz. Ik heb er een wit lintje omheen gebonden. De tekst is een stempeltje van Stamping Bella en ik heb een pons van Marta Stewart gebruikt om het labeltje te ponsen.

Last weekend I made this card for Marianne's birthday. She has received the card now, so I can post it on my blog. The stamp I used is from Lili of the Valley and I have coloured this cute fairie with my derwent pencils. Her wings were coloured with a clear spica glitter pen. I used chalks to colour around the image. The image was cut out with circle nestabilities. I stamped with a little flower stamp from Fiskars on my card and coloured it with the derwent pencils. I coloured the flowers with the clear spica glitter pen. The pink bazzil paper was embossed with the diamonds and dots embossingfolder from Quickutz. I have wrapped a white ribbon around it. The sentiment is a stamp from Stamping Bella and I used a Martha Stewart punch to punch the label.

House mouse: Shaped card

Het is maandag en dus was er weer een nieuwe house mouse challenge. Deze week is het de bedoeling dat je een shaped kaart maakt. Dus in een apart vormpje. Het maakt niet uit wat als het maar niet een rechthoek of een vierkant is. Ik heb voor een ronde kaart gekozen. Ik heb een rode ronde kaart genomen en de voorkant van de kaart geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Op een strip wit papier heb ik de rode ruiten geprint en deze heb ik op de kaart geplakt. De afbeelding van de house mouse heb ik van Jennifer gehad. Is het niet een schatje zoals hij daar ligt met een vol buikje door het snoepen van de aardbeien? Ik heb de afbeelding gekleurd met derwent potloden en daarna heb ik hem uitgeknipt. De losse aardbeitjes zijn met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb op de kaart twee randjes van zwart satijn lint geplakt. Ik heb ook een heel klein strikje gemaakt en dat op één van de lintjes geplakt. De tekst komt uit een stempelsetje van Fiskars. Hij past heel goed op dit kaartje omdat de vorm zo perfect mee loopt met de vorm van de muis.

It is monday and so it is time for another house mouse challenge. This week you have to make a shaped card. So you can't make a square or a rectangle shaped card. I have chosen for a circle shaped card. I used a red card and embossed the front with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. On a strip of white paper I printed the red pattern. I have gotten this image from Jennifer. Isn't this mouse a cutie sleeping with his little tummie full with the strawberries? I colored the image as always with derwent pencils and then I have cut it out. I used foamtape to attach the strawberries to the card. I made a tiny bow from black satin ribbon and attached it on the card. The sentiment is from a clear stamp set from Fiskars. I really like it on my card because the shape of the sentiment matches really well with the shape of the image.
