An advent calendar for my aunts - Day 0

 

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een kaart voor een groot project waar ik al tijden mee bezig ben. Ik heb namelijk samen met mijn moeder voor mijn beide tantes een advents kalender gemaakt. Dit jaar is natuurlijk een heel vreemd jaar door het covid-19 virus en mijn moeder en ik wilden ze graag verrassen met een leuk pakket om de maand december iets aangenamer te maken. We hebben allemaal leuke cadeautjes gekocht en de komende tijd zal ik af en toe dingetjes posten. Deze kaart is gemaakt voor dag 0. We hebben de pakketten gisteren naar ze toe gebracht en toen mochten ze deze kaart met persoonlijke boodschap alvast uitpakken en lezen.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a card that I have made for a big project that I have been working on for months. I have made an advent calendar together with my mother for my aunts. This has been a very strange year because of the covid-19 virus and my mother and I wanted to surprise them both with a nice package to cheer them up during the month of december. We have bought all kinds of nice presidents and I shall post some of the things the coming time. This card has been made for day 0. My aunts have received their package and they could open this card with a personal message for them.

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met een hele toepasselijke stempel voor deze tijd. Ik heb de stempelset Big grumpy stamp & die combination van Taylored expressions en Big grumpy - Cat stamp & die collection van Taylored expressions gebruikt. Ik echt de perfecte tekst op het bordje van de beer en kat gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeeldingen daarna ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen uitgestanst met de dies die bij de stempelsets zitten.

Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 22 van Crealies heb ik een vierkant uit wit karton gestanst en daarop heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Met de Silhouette cameo heb ik een aantal bomen uitgesneden van het bestand Season's greetings (337804) van Carta Bella. Ik heb de bomen gekleurd met Shabby shutters, Mowed lawn, Peeled paint, Crushed olive en Gathered twigs Distress inkt en daarna heb ik ze op de achtergrond geplakt. Uit groen gestreept papier van het Spectrum series 1 paperpad van Authentique heb ik met de Grassy hills die-namics van My favorite things een grasrandje gestanst en dat heb ik op het vierkant geplakt. Met de Punch die flowers (CR1323) van Marianne design heb ik bloemetjes uit geel design papier van het Lovely background paperpad van Action gestanst en die heb ik op het gras geplakt. Ik heb de bloemen versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op het vierkant geplakt. Op een kraft kaart heb ik daarna ook een strook van het gele design papier geplakt en daarna heb ik het vierkant met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. 

I have made a card with a perfect image for this time. I have sued the stampsets Big grumpy stamp & die combination from Taylored expressions and Big grumpy - Cat stamp & die collection from Taylored expressions. I have stamped the perfect sentiment on the signs from the bear and cat. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have die-cut the image with the matching dies that are in the stampset.

With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 22 from Crealies I have die-cut a square from white cardstock. On the square I have made a background with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. I have cut a couple of trees with the Silhouette cameo from the file Season's greetings (337804) from Carta Bella and I coloured those with Shabby shutters, Mowed lawn, Peeled paint, Crushed olive and Gathered twigs Distress ink. From green patterned paper from the Spectrum series 1 paperpad from Authentique I have die-cut a grass border with the Grassy hills die-namics from My favorite things and I glued it on the white square. With the Punch die flowers (CR1323) from Marianne design I have die-cut little flowers from yellow patterned paper from the Lovely background paperpad from Action and I glued those on the square. I have decorated the flowers with black hotfix gems. I have glued the bear and cat with foamtape on the square. On a kraft card I have glued the yellow patterned paper and then I glued the square with the image with foamtape on the card. 

Ik heb de binnenkant van de kaart versierd met nog een afbeelding en onze persoonlijke boodschap. Ik heb uit zwart karton met de Strips with stitchline (CLmix 12) van Crealies 2 strips gestanst en die heb ik op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb uit het gele design papier met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 21 van Crealies een cirkel gestanst en daarna heb ik nog een beer en kat gestempeld met daarin een eigen getypte tekst en die heb ik op de cirkel geplakt. Rondom de tekst heb ik nog wat bloemetjes geplakt. 

I have decorated the inside of the card with another image and our personal message. I have die-cut 2 strips from black cardstock with the Strips with stitchline (CLmix 12) from Crealies and glued those in the card. I have cut a circle from the yellow patterned paper with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 21 from Crealies and I glued that on the strips. I have printed a sentiment and then I stamped the bear and cat again and glued those on top of the circle. I have glued a couple of flowers around the sentiment.

Halloween treat bags

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een aantal halloween tractaties die ik heb gemaakt. Ik heb met de Crealies Xtra CLXtra 22 Small bag die van Crealies uit zwart karton 3 zakjes gestanst. Ik heb de voorkant van het zakje uit wit karton gestanst en dat heb ik daarna gekleurd met Carved pumpkin en Ripe persimmon Distress inkt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een kadertje langs de randen van het papier getekend. Met zwarte gesso heb ik daarna stipjes op het papier gemaakt. Vervolgens heb ik uit zwart karton een aantal spookachtige wolken gestanst met de Spooky clouds van Taylored expressions en die heb ik op mijn zakje geplakt. Met een gaatjestang heb ik gaatjes in de zakjes gemaakt en daarna heb ik de zakjes gesloten met wit borduurgaren.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a couple of halloween treats that I have made. With the Crealies Xtra CLXtra 22 Small bag die from Crealies. I have diecut 3 little bags from black cardstock. The front of the bags is diecut from white cardstock and then I coloured that paper with Carved pumpkin and Ripe persimmon Distress ink. I doodled lines on the background with a black fineliner. I added paint splatters with black gesso. Then I have diecut a couple of clouds from black cardstock with the Spooky clouds from Taylored expressions and I glued those on the bag. I made 2 holes in the bags with a hole punch and then I used white embroidery thread to close the bags.

Op ieder zakje heb ik een vleermuis van de stempelset Gone batty van Taylored expressions geplakt. Ik heb de vleermuisjes ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeeldingen daarna uitgestanst met de stans die bij de stempelset zit. Ik heb de vleermuisjes met foamtape op mijn zakje geplakt.

On each bag I glued a bat from the stampset Gone batty from Taylored expressions. I have coloured the bats with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have diecut the bats with the matching dies that comes together with the stampset. I have glued the bats with foamtape on the bags.

Ik heb de zakjes gevuld met een zakje snoep.

Taylored expressions - BOO!

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een nieuwe halloween kaartje dat ik heb gemaakt. Ik heb op het kaartje 2 vleermuisjes van de stempelset Gone batty van Taylored expressions gebruikt. Ik heb de vleermuisjes ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen uitgestanst met de stans die bij de stempelset zit. Ik heb een stuk wit karton gekleurd met Wilted violet, Dusty concord en Chipped saphire Distress inkt. Ik heb met een witte gelpen een kadertje langs de randen van het papier getekend. Met water heb ik kleine spatjes op de achtergrond gemaakt. Daarna heb ik nog meer spatjes gemaakt met witte ecoline. Ik heb uit zwart karton een aantal wolken gestanst met de Spooky clouds die van Taylored expressions en die heb ik op mijn paarse achtergrond geplakt. Ik heb het woord Boo uit wit karton gestanst met het Smalt alfabet D190603 van Gummiapan. Ik heb ook nog een aantal kleine sterretjes uit wit karton gestanst met de Star confetti die van Alexandra Renke en die heb ik ook op de achtergrond geplakt. Ik heb de achtergrond daarna op een zwart kaartje geplakt. De vleermuisjes zijn met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new halloween card that I have made. I placed two little bats from the stampset Gone batty from Taylored expressions on the card. I have coloured the bats with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have diecut them with the matching die that comes with the stampset. I have coloured a piece of white cardstock with Wilted violet, Dusty concord and Chipped saphire Distress ink. With a white gelpen I doodled lines on the background. Then I made some splatters with water. I made more splatters with white ecoline. I have diecut a couple of clouds from black cardstock with the Spooky clouds die from Taylored expressions and I glued those on the background. With the Smalt alfabet D190603 from Gummiapan I have diecut the word Boo from white cardstock and I glued it on the background. I added a couple of stars that I have diecut from white cardstock with the Star confetti die from Alexandra Renke and I glued those on the background. I glued the background on a black card. I added the bats with foamtape on the card.

Taylored expressions - It's too peoply outside

Goedemorgen, vorige week maakte ik al een kaartje met één van de chagrijnige dieren van Taylored expressions. Ik heb toen meteen nog een kaartje gemaakt. Deze keer heb ik een kaartje gemaakt met de stempelset Big Grumpy stamp & die combo van Taylored expressions. Ik heb het beertje gestempeld met Versafine clair nocturne inkt en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Karin brushmarkers pro. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgestanst met de die die bij de stempelset hoort.
Op een witte kaart heb ik paars ruitjespapier van het Classic gingham paper pack van Sunny studio geplakt. Op een stukje wit karton heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Uit groen ruitjespapier van het Classic gingham paper pack van Sunny studio heb ik met de Tulip border die (LR0653) van Marianne design een grasrandje gestanst en die heb ik samen met de afbeelding op de wolkenachtergrond geplakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van de kaart getekend.

Goodmorning, last week I already made a card with one of the grumpy animals from Taylored expressions. I immediately made another card with another grumpy animal. This time I have made a card with the stampset Big Grumpy stamp & die combo from Taylored expressions. I have stamped the bear and sentiment with Versafine clair nocturne ink and then I embossed the image with clear embossingpowder. I have die-cut the image with the die that comes with the stampset. I have coloured the image with my Karin brushmarkers pro. 
On a white card I glued purple patterned paper from the Classic gingham paper pack from Sunny studio. On white cardstock I made a background with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. From green patterned paper from the Classic gingham paper pack from Sunny studio I have die-cut a grass border with the Tulip border die (LR0653) from Marianne design. I have glued the grass border and the image on the cloudy background and then I glued everything on a white card. With a black fineliner I have doodled a line around the edges of the card with a black fineliner.

As you like it challenge 185 - Digi or rubber stamp

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag weten waar je liever mee werkt: Digitale stempels of rubber stempels. Ik heb eigenlijk geen voorkeur. Beide soorten stempels hebben voor- en nadelen en daarom gebruik ik ze gewoon door elkaar. Voordelen van digitale stempels zijn dat ze geen ruimte innemen in je huis, dat je ze heel makkelijk in de gewenste maat kunt printen en je kunt ze zelfs in spiegelbeeld printen, dat kan soms voor bepaalde projecten erg fijn zijn. Nadeel is natuurlijk wel dat je niet even snel stempelt, maar je moet echt even achter de computer om ze uit te kunnen printen. Rubberen en clear stempels hebben ook hun voordelen. Het kan vrij snel gedaan worden en een groot voordeel voor mij is dat ik mijn afbeeldingen kan embossen, als ik met aquarel verf wil werken. Nadeel is dat ze een vaste maat hebben en ze ruimte innemen in huis. Deze week worden we gesponsord door Dies to die for.
Ik heb voor deze challenge een kaartje gemaakt met rubberen stempel Big Grumpy Cat stamp & die combo van Taylored expressions. Ik moet gewoon erg lachen om deze chagrijnige beesten en toen ik vooral deze tekst in de set zag, moest ik hem gewoon gebruiken op mijn kaartje. Het lijkt alsof de tekst speciaal voor deze corona-tijd is gemaakt. Volgende week zal ik nog een kaart die ik tegelijkertijd met deze kaart maakte posten die ook helemaal corona-proof is. ;) Ik heb de afbeelding en tekst gestempeld met Versafine clair nocturne inkt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met mijn Karin brushmarkers pro. Ik ben de laatste tijd aan het oefenen met mijn aquarel mediums en dat lukt steeds beter naar mijn zin. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgestanst met de die die bij de stempelset zit.
Uit paars ruitjespapier van het Classic gingham paper pack van Sunny studio heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXl 41 van Crealies een cirkel gestanst en deze heb ik op een wit kaartje geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van de kaart gedoodled. Daarna heb ik de kaart versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and this time we want to know what you prefer: Digital or ribber stamps. For me it actually doesn't matter what I use. Both digital and rubber stamps have their own advantages and disadvantages. Digital stamps don't take up any room in your house, you can easily print them in the size you want and your able to mirror your image, which can be great for some projects. A disadvantage is that you can't "stamp" them really quick, you always need your computer for printing them. Rubber (and clear) stamps have their own advantages. You can stamp them really quick and you can emboss your images when you want to work with a watercolour medium. But you can't change the size of a rubber stamp and they take up space in your home. I have made a card with the rubber stampset Big Grumpy Cat stamp & die combo from Taylored expressions. I just have to laugh when I look at these grumpy animals and when I saw this sentiment, I just had to use it on my card. It seems like it was made especially for this corona-period. Next week I will post another card, that I made together with this card and that card is also corona-proof. ;) I have stamped the image and sentiment with Versafine clair nocturne ink and then I embossed the image with clear embossingpowder. Then I coloured the image with my Karin brushmarkers pro. I have been practising my colouring skills with watercolour mediums and I am getting happier with my results. I have die-cut the image with the die that comes with the stampset.

A little halloween garland

Hallo, vandaag heb ik deze halloween slinger gemaakt. Ik heb met de stempelset Gone batty van Taylored expressions een aantal vleermuisjes gestempeld en die heb ik ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de vleermuizen uitgestanst  met de stans die bij de stempelset zit.
De slinger is gemaakt met een stans die ik van een lieve blogvriendin heb gehad voor mijn verjaardag. Het is de Verso garland fayre decorative bunting set 1266e van Tonic studio. Ik heb met maskerpapier de randjes van de vlaggetjes afgeplakt en daarna heb ik de vlaggetjes gekleurd met Carved pumpkin en Ripe persimmon Distress inkt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een kadertje op de vlaggetjes getekend. Ik heb het woord boo uit zwart karton gestanst met het Smalt alfabet D190603 van Gummiapan en ik heb de letters op de vlaggetjes geplakt. Ik heb de vlaggetjes aan een stukje oranje bakerstwine gehangen.

Hello, today I have made a little halloween garland. I have stamped a couple of bats with the stampset Gone batty from Taylored expressions and I coloured those with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have diecut the bats with the matching die that comes with the stampset. 
The garland is made with a die that I got for my birthday from a sweet blogging friend. It is the Verso garland fayre decorative bunting set 1266e from Tonic studio. I have diecut the garland from white cardstock. I have masked the edges of the buntings with masking paper and then I coloured them all with Carved pumpkin and Ripe persimmon Distress ink. With a black fineliner I doodled a frame on all the buntings. I have diecut the word Boo from black cardstock with the Smalt alfabet D190603 from Gummiapan and I glued the letters on the garland. I have used orange bakers twine to glue all the buntings together.

Halloween lollies

Hallo, eindelijk heb ik vandaag tijd om deze blogpost te schrijven. Ik was laatst winkelen en toen vond ik leuke halloween lollies bij de Flying tiger en die heb ik toen gekocht om daar iets leuks mee te doen. Ik heb daarom een leuk hoesje voor de lollies ontworpen en deze heb ik met de silhouette uitgesneden en daarna heb ik ze natuurlijk versierd

Hello, finally I have time to write this blogpost. A few weeks ago I went on a shopping trip and I found awesome halloween lollies at Flying tiger and I bought those to make something nice with them. I decorated a nice wrapper for them abd cut those out with the silhouette. 

De eerste 6 lolly-verpakkingen heb ik uit wit karton gesneden. Aan de ene kant zit een gat waar je de lolly door ziet. Op de ene lolly staat een spin en op de andere een spinnenweb. Op de andere kant heb ik grijs design papier uit het Dot, grid, daisy stripe petite prints paperpad van Doodlebug geplakt. Ik heb hier met een zwarte pen lijntjes op getekend.
Ik heb alle 6 de verschillende spookjes van de set Peek-a-boo van The Greeting farm gestempeld en deze daarna allemaal ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. Vervolgens heb ik alle spookjes uitgeknipt en met foamtape op het grijze papier geplakt. De teksten komen uit de set All in onesie Halloween van Clearly besotted. Ik heb ze met foamtape op beide kanten van de verpakking geplakt. Van black button twine van the Ribbon girl heb ik een klein strikje gemaakt en dat heb ik boven het gat geplakt.

The first 6 lolly-wrappers are cut from white cardstock. On onse side is a hole and you can see the lolly through it. Some have a spider on it and others a spiderweb. On the other side I adhered a piece of grey design paper from the Dot, grid, daisy stripe petite prints paperpad from Doodlebug. I doodled some lines on with a black pen. 
Then I stamped all 6 ghosts from the stampset Peek-a-boo from The Greeting farm. I coloured them with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. I fussy cut all the images and adhered them with foamtape on the wrapper. The sentiments are all from the set All in onesie Halloween from Clearly besotted. I adhered them with foamtape on both sides of the wrapper. I made a little bow from black button twine from the Ribbon girl and placed that above the hole in the wrapper.

Het tweede setje lolly-verpakkingen is uit oranje karton gesneden. Ik heb hier een kleine beetje gevarieerd met de gaten waar je de lolly door ziet.
Deze verpakkingen zijn helemaal versierd met stempels van de set Gone batty van Taylored expressions. Ik heb de vleermuisjes gestempeld en daarna de 6 verschillende gezichtjes uit de set op de vleermuisjes gestempeld. Daarna heb ik de vleermuizen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. De lijfjes heb ik nog versierd met een witte gelpen. De teksten komen ook uit dezelfde stempelset.  Daarna heb ik nog een strik van zwart geruit lint onder de verpakking geplaatst.

The second set of lolly-wrappers is cut from orange cardstock. I made 3 different shapes of holes in these wrappers.
These wrappers are decorated with stamps from the Gone batty set van Taylored expressions. I stamped the bats and gave them the 6 different faces that are in the set. Then I coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. I also decorated the bodies with a white gelpen. The sentiments are also from the same stampset. I tied a little bow from black gingham ribbon under the wrappers.

Fairytale challenge 153 - Monsters

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog. Deze keer is de challenge Monsters. De perfecte kans om eens een foto van mezelf te gebruiken toen ik mijn vleermuis vliegles aan het geven was. ;) Hihi Ben ik ontzettend knap? ;)
Dit grappige monstertje is de afbeelding Little monster & bat van Dilly beans designs. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik glossy accents op de ogen aangebracht. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een witte kaart heb ik een laag oranje papier geplakt en daarna zwart Honeycomb papier van Pink petticoat. Daarna heb ik nog een strip oranje papier opgeplakt en daarop heb ik stiklijntjes getekend met een zwarte pen. De tekst van de set Gone batty van Taylored expressions heb ik op oranje papier gestempeld en daarna in een bannervorm uitgesneden. Ook hier heb ik stiklijntjes op gemaakt met de zwarte pen.

Goodmorning, today the new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog. This time our challenge is Monsters. The perfect oppurtunity to use my own photo from when I was learning my bat to fly. ;) Hihi. Aren't I really pretty? ;)
This cute monster is the image Little monster & bat from Dilly beans designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut the image. On a white card I adhered a layer of orange cardstock and then some black Honeycomb paper from Pink petticoat. I added a strip of orange cardstock and I added faux stitching on it with a black pen. The sentiment from the set Gone batty from Taylored expressions is stamped on orange cardstock and then I cut it into a bannershape. Again I added faux stitching. 

Binnen in de kaart heb ik nog een stukje zwart Honeycomb papier van Pink petticoat geplakt. Ik heb nog een andere tekst van de Gone batty set van Taylored expressions op oranje papier gestempeld en deze heb ik op het design papier geplakt.

Inside the card I glued another piece of the black Honeycomb paper from Pink petticoat. On top of it I adhered orange cardstock on which I stamped another sentiment from the set Gone batty from Taylored expressions

Gerda Steiner designs - Parachute frankenpiggy

Goedemorgen, zoals ik zaterdag al beloofde laat ik vandaag nog een kaartje zien met Parachute piggy van Gerda Steiner designs. Ik zou er eigenlijk 2 laten zien, maar stiekem heb ik zelfs nog een extra kaartje gemaakt en die zal ik woensdag laten zien, omdat ze redelijk bij elkaar passen.
Voor mijn kaartje van vandaag heb ik een Frankenpiggy van Parachute piggy van Gerda Steiner designs gemaakt. Toen ik de parachute moest ik namelijk aan een pompoen denken en toen wilde ik dus een halloween kaartje maken en daar past een Frankenpiggy perfect bij. ;)
Na het printen heb ik dan ook op de originele afbeelding  met een zwarte pen een pompoenhoofd getekend op de parachute. Van het varkentje heb ik Frankenstein gemaakt door hem een pony te geven en een paar littekens. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik wilde kleine adertjes in de ogen van het varken tekenen, maar toen ik glossy accents aanbracht liep dat helemaal door...oeps. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgeknipt en daarna het pompoen hoofd nog extra gekleurd met een zwarte wink of stella pen. Uit oranje en wit karton en Little chevron papier van Pink petticoat heb ik diverse vormen gesneden met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 41, 42 & 44 van Crealies. Op het witte rechthoek heb ik een tekst van de set Critters in costume van Taylored expressions gestempeld en deze heb ik onder de afbeelding geplakt. Uit wit karton heb ik met de Lots of stars creative cuts van Mama elephant en de Spooky clouds die van Taylored expressions een aantal sterren en wolken gestanst en deze heb ik op de zwarte cirkel geplakt.

Goodmorning, as promised on Saturday I am posting another card with Parachute piggy from Gerda Steiner designs. I actually wanted to show you 2 cards, but I made a 3th card, so I will post the last 2 cards this wednesday. 
On my card today I turned Parachute piggy from Gerda Steiner designs into a Frankenpiggy. When I saw the parachute it made me think of a pumpkin and then I wanted to make a halloween card and A frankenpiggy is perfect for a halloween card. ;)
After printing the image I added a pumpkin face, hair and scars on the image with a black pen. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I wanted to add little veins in his eyes, but when I applied the glossy accents I found out that my pen wasn't waterproof...oops. I have fussy cut the image and then I coloured the pumpkin face again with a black wink of stella pen. From white and orange cardstock and the black little chevron paper from Pink petticoat I cut all the shapes with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 41, 42 & 44 from Crealies. On the white rectangle I stamped a sentiment from the set Critters in costume from Taylored expressions and I adhered it under the image. From white cardstock I cut a couple if stars and clouds with the Lots of stars creative cuts from Mama elephant and the Spooky clouds die from Taylored expressions and I adhered those on the black circle.

Gerda Steiner designs - Parachute piggy

Goedemorgen, net zoals iedere maand, doe ik ook deze maand weer mee aan de maandelijkse challenge van Gerda Steiner designs. Deze maand moet je een kaartje maken met de afbeelding Parachute piggy van Gerda Steiner designs. Ik vind de afbeelding erg leuk en ik had zoveel inspiratie dat ik maandag nog 2 kaartjes zal laten zien met deze afbeelding. ;).
Ik heb Parachute piggy van Gerda Steiner designs ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Op de brillenglazen heb ik glossy accents aangebracht. Op de parachute heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een aantal vormen gedoodled. Uit aquarelpapier heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies een rechthoek gesneden en daarop heb ik met Tumbled glass en mermaid lagoon distress inkt een achtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb deze op een kraft kaart geplakt. Ik heb het varkentje daarna uitgeknipt en met foamtape op de achtergrond geplakt. De tekst komt uit de set If dogs could talk van Taylored expressions. Daarna heb ik de kaart versierd met Sparkling clear sequins van Pretty pink posh.

Goodmorning, just like every month, I am entering the monthly challenge from Gerda Steiner designs. This month you have to make a card with the image Parachute piggy from Gerda Steiner designs. I really love this image and I had so much inspiration, that I will showing you 2 more cards this monday. ;)
I have coloured the Parachute piggy from Gerda Steiner designs with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. On the glasses I applied glossy accents. I doodled some shapes on the parachute with a black pen. From watercolor paper I cut a rectangle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies and I made a background on it with Tumbled glass and mermaid lagoon distress ink. I adhered the background on a kraft card. The I fussy cut the piggy and adhered it with foamtape on the background. The sentiment is from the set If dogs could talk from Taylored expressions. I decorated the card with Sparkling clear sequins from Pretty pink posh
