A card for Rodney

Goedemorgen, een tijdje geleden deed Kim (Kaboodle72) op instagram een oproepje of er iemand was die haar vader een kaartje wilde sturen omdat hij een moeilijke tijd meemaakt nu. Aangezien Kim altijd erg lief is met haar commentaren op instagram, leek het me leuk om ook een kaartje te sturen naar haar vader.

Omdat ik uit Nederland kom, vond ik de afbeelding 5 Flowers van Bugaboo stamps perfect omdat ik hier ook tulpen tussen staan. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om een vrolijk gekleurd kaartje te maken en dus heb ik de bloemen in regenboogkleurtjes ingekleurd met mijn polychromos potloden. Daarna heb ik met een witte gelpen accentjes op de bloemen en blaadjes aangebracht. Op de bloemenhartjes heb ik clear nuvo drops aangebracht. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de Crea-nest-lies 44 van Crealies. Ik heb de afbeelding op zwart karton gemat. Op een witte kaart heb ik eerst een laag zwart karton en daarna geel ruitjespapier van het Gingham galore paperpad van  My favorite things geplakt. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik vond het grappig om een Nederlandse tekst te gebruiken en deze komt uit de set Van alles wat van EveryDee stamps. Ik heb de tekst met versamark inkt op zwart karton gestempeld en deze daarna geëmbost met witte embossingspoeder. Ik heb de tekst uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies 41 van Crealies en deze daarna met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. 

Goodmorning, a while ago I saw a message from Kim (Kaboodle72) on instagram asking for some cards for her dad because he is going through a tough time. Since Kim is really sweet with all her comments on instagram,  really wanted to send her dad a card.
Since I am from The Netherlands I thought the image 5 Flowers van Bugaboo stamps was perfect for his card, because it has some tulips on it. I decided to make a nice bright coloured card, so I coloured the flowers in rainbowcolours with my polychromos pencils. Then I added little accents on all the flowers and leaves with a white gelpen. In the centers of the flowers I added clear nuvo drops. I have cut the image out with the Crea-nest-lies 44 from Crealies and then I matted it on black cardstock. On a white card I first adhered a layer of black cardstock and then I added a layer of yellow gingham paper from the Gingham galore paperpad from My favorite things. I adhered the image with foamtape on the card. I thought it would be funny to use a Dutch sentiment on my card (sweet greetings), so I stamped the sentiment from the set Van alles wat from EveryDee stamps with versamark ink on black cardstock and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I have cut the sentiment with the Crea-nest-lies 41 from Crealies and used foamtape to adhere it on the card.

Goedemorgen, vandaag is het dag 27 van de 30-day colouring challenge van Kathy Racoosin.

Goodmorning, today it is day 27 from the 30-day colouring challenge from Kathy Racoosin.

Ik ben weer terug met een nieuw kaartje voor de 30-colouring challenge na alweer een kleine pauze. De laatste dagen stond mijn hoofd niet zo naar het kleuren, dus ik had even niets om te posten. Normaal zou ik vandaag weer een nieuw kerstkaartje posten, maar dat doe ik later deze week nog wel even.
Vandaag laat ik een eenvoudig kaartje zien dat ik heb gemaakt met de stempel Gorjuss - Little song van Santoro. Ik heb de afbeelding op wit karton gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze ingekleurd met mijn polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Naast de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de set Van alles wat van EveryDee stamps gestempeld. Ik heb gaatjes in het karton geprikt en daarna heb ik met wit borduurgaren een randje rondom gestikt. Uit groen en roze karton heb ik bloemetjes en blaadjes geponst en deze heb ik in de rechter bovenhoek geplakt. Ik heb het witte vlak papier op roze karton geplakt en daarna heb ik het op een witte kaart geplakt.

I am back again with a new card for the 30-day colouring challenge after a little break. The fast few days I didn't have the right mood for colouring, so I had nothing to post here. Normally I would post a christmascard, but I still need to make it, so you will see that one later this week. 
Today I am showing you a simple card made with the stamp Gorjuss - Little song from Santoro. I stamped the image on white cardstock and then I coloured her with my polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. Next to the image I stamped a birthday sentiment from the set Van alles wat from EveryDee stamps. I made little holes in the white cardstock and the I added stitched borders with white embroidery thread. . I have punched a couple of flowers and leaves from pink and green cardstock and added little white pearls in the centers of the flowers. I adhered the image panel on pink cardstock and then I adhered everything on a white card.

Critter loving cardmakers card swap

Goedemorgen, vandaag laat ik een kaartje zien dat ik heb gemaakt voor een kaartenswap van de Critter loving cardmakers op facebook. Ik ben lid van deze groep en hierin worden kaartjes gepost met schattige diertjes of figuurtjes erop. Echt iets voor mij dus! ;)
Ik heb weer eens een kaart gemaakt met de schattige muizen van Di's digi stamps en deze keer heb ik Look my new friend van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik deze uitgesneden met de Die-namic stitched rectangle stax van My favorite things. Het water heb ik gekleurd met een spectrum noir sparkle pen. Ik heb op de druppels van de afbeelding blue enamel druppels van de Snow dance enamel stickers van Create a smile stamps geplakt. Deze hadden de perfecte maat.
Op een kraft kaart heb ik een stiklijntje getekend met een witte gelpen. Daarna heb ik een strip Bumblee plaid paper van Doodlebug op de kaart geplakt. Hier heb ik een zwart lintje rondom gebonden. De tekst van de set Van alles wat van EveryDee stamps heb ik op het design papier geplakt. Mijn kaartje gaat naar de VS, dus het leek me leuk om dan een Nederlandse tekst te gebruiken. ;) Ik heb de kaart daarna nog versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a card that I made for a card swap from the Critter loving cardmakers on facebook. I am a member of this group and we are posting cards with cute critters in this group. So that is the perfect group for me! ;)
I made a card with the cute mice from Di's digi stamps and this time I used Look my new friend from Di's digi stamps. I have colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut the image out with the Die-namic stitched rectangle stax from My favorite things. The water is also colored with a Spectrum noir sparkle pen. I have added enamel droplets on the droplets on the image from the Snow dance enamel stickers from Create a smile stamps. They have the perfect size.
On a kraft card I have drawn faux stitching with a white gelpen. Then I added a strip of Bumblee plaid design paper from Doodlebug. I wrapped a black ribbon around the design paper. I added a dutch sentiment from the set Van alles wat from EveryDee stamps. My card is going to the USA, so I thought it would be fun to use a Dutch sentiment. ;) Then I decorated the card with a couple of black hotfix gems.

Binnenin de kaart heb ik nog wit papier geplakt waarop ik mijn boodschap naar de ontvangster zal schrijven. Ik heb hier een kleine versie van de afbeelding naast geprint die ik eerst geel heb gemaakt op de computer.

Inside the card I added white cardstock for my personal message to the recipient. I added a smaller version from the image that I made yellow on the computer.

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een verjaardagskaartje. Ik heb weer eens een oud stempeltje gebruikt van een kikker. Het kikkertje is een stempeltje van Country companions. Onder de kikker heb ik een tekst van de set Van alles wat van Everydee stamps gestempeld en daarna heb ik alles uitgesneden met de Die-namics stitched rectangle stax van My favorite things. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Kuretake gansai tambi aquarelverf en de ogen van de kikker heb ik gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. De afbeelding heb ik op zwart karton geplakt. Op een witte kaart heb ik groen ruitjes papier van het Kraft in color - kraft paperpad van Doodlebug geplakt. Hierop heb ik met een zwarte pen lijntjes getekend. Rondom een strip zwart karton heb ik een wit lintje gebonden en daarna heb ik de strip op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a birthday card. I used an old stamp from a frog that I found in my stash. The frog is a stamp from Country companions. Under the frog I stamped a Dutch sentiment from the set Van alles wat from Everydee stamps and then I cut everything out with the Die-namics stitched rectangle stax from My favorite things. I colored the image with the Kuretake gansai tambi watercolors and I used the black glaze pen to color the eyes of the frog. I adhered the image on black cardstock. On a white card I adhered green gingham paper from the Kraft in color - kraft paperpad from Doodlebug. I doodled some lines on the paper with a black pen.  
I wrapped white ribbon around a strip of black cardstock and I adhered that on the card.

Stamping Bella - Get well card

Goedemorgen, vandaag laat ik het beterschapskaartje zien dat ik voor een vriendin heb gemaakt. Ze is geopereerd aan haar voet. Op aquarelpapier heb ik de  bloem van Flower for a true friend van Stamping Bella gestempeld en naast de bloem heb ik een tekst van de set Van alles wat van EveryDee stamps gestempeld. Ik heb gestempeld met Versafine onyx black inkt en daarna heb ik alles geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Derwent inktense potloden. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens uitgsneden met de Basic set - Creative cuts van Mama elephant. Ik heb voor de kaart weer mijn favoriete kleur roze gebruikt, Annette noemt het zelfs al Larissa-pink! ;) Ik heb om de kaart een wit lintje gebonden en daarna de afbeelding op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am showing you a get well card that I made for a friend. She had surgery on her foot. On watercolor paper I stamped a flower from the set Flower for a true friend from Stamping Bella and next to the flower I stamped a get well sentiment from the set Van alles wat from EveryDee stamps. I stamped everything with Versafine onyx black ink and then I embossed it with clear embossingpowder. I have colored the image with my Derwent inktense pencils. I have cut the image out with the Basic set - Creative cuts from Mama elephant. I have used my favorite pink color for my card. Annette calls it Larissa-pink! ;) I wrapped a white ribbon around the card and then I adhered the image on the card.

Verjaardagskaartje voor mijn tante

Goedemorgen, vandaag is mijn tante jarig en dus heb ik een kaartje voor haar gemaakt. Ik had nog een restje van het streepjespapier liggen dat ik op dinsdag voor mijn kaartjes had gebruikt en daar wilde ik wel iets mee doen ;). Ik ben dan ook op zoek gegaan naar een afbeelding die met veel kleurtjes kon worden ingekleurd, zodat het papier er perfect bij past. Uiteindelijk vond ik de Cutie cupcake tower from Di's digi stamps hier perfect voor. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb de afbeelding op een stuk kraft karton geplakt. Langs de randen van het kraft karton heb ik een stiklijntje getekend met een witte gelpen. De Nederlandse tekst komt uit de set Van alles wat van EveryDee stamps. Echt geweldig om eens Nederlandse teksten te hebben in goede kwaliteit en niet al te groot. Hoewel een maatje kleiner ook nog op mijn verlanglijstje staat. :) Daarna heb ik nog geel bakerstwine rondom het kraft papier gebonden. Op de kaart heb ik eerst de 2 strips streepjespapier van het Sunny days ahead paperpad van Echo Park geplakt en daarna heb ik het paneel met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today it is my aunt's birthday and I made her this card. I had some of the striped paper left that I used for my cards that I posted on Tuesday and I really wanted to use it again. :) So I started looking for an image that had to be colored with many different shades of color, so the paper would be a perfect match. Finally I have decided to use this Cutie cupcake tower from Di's digi stamps. I colored tge image with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut the image out. I adhered the image on a piece of kraft cardstock. I have drawn faux stitching on it with a white gelpen. The Dutch sentiment (congratulations) is from the stampset Van alles wat from EveryDee stamps. Then I wrapped some yellow bakers twine around the kraft cardstock and tied it into a bow. On the card I adhered 2 strips of the striped paper from the Sunny days ahead paperpad from Echo Park and then I adhered the panel with the image.

Op het streepjespapier heb ik daarna nog een aantal sequins geplakt. Ze zijn allemaal van Pretty pink posh en ik heb de kleur gebruikt van de streep waarop ze zijn geplakt. Ik heb de volgende kleuren gebruikt: Cornflower, Lemon meringue, Mossy green, Pink blush, Raspberry and Tangerine sequins van Pretty pink posh.

On the striped paper I adhered a couple of sequins. I bught them all from Pretty pink posh and I used the color from the stripe to adhere a sequin from that same color. I used these colors: Cornflower, Lemon meringue, Mossy green, Pink blush, Raspberry and Tangerine sequins from Pretty pink posh.
