A christmas tag with Whimsy stamps

 

Goedemorgen, kerst komt er nu echt snel aan, dus ik heb dit weekend heerlijk aan allerlei kerstprojectjes gewerkt die ik de komende tijd hier zal posten. Vandaag post ik een kersttag in een leuke vorm. Op de tag heb ik de stempelset Fleece navidad van Whimsy stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de set zelf als rubber stempel, maar nu is de afbeelding alleen nog maar verkrijgbaar als digitale stempel en voor deze afbeelding heb ik het linkje toegevoegd. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb delen van de kerstmuts gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgeknipt.

Ik heb met de grootste stans van de set Old stars (D180502) van Gummiapan twee keer een ster uit rood karton gesneden. Ik heb deze aan één punt aan elkaar vastgeplakt. Ik heb het schaap met foamtape op de voorkant van mijn tag geplakt. Ik heb de voorkant van de tag versierd met witte sneeuwster stickers. Met een gaatjespons heb ik een gat in mijn tag gemaakt en daar heb ik wit borduurgaren ingebonden zodat ik de tag kan bevestigen aan mijn cadeautje.

Goodmorning, christmas is approaching fast, so I have made a couple of christmas projects this past weekend, which I will be posting the coming weeks. Today I am posting a christmas tag in a nice shape. On the tag I have used the rubber stamp set Fleece navidad from Whimsy stamps. This set is no longer available as a rubber stamp set, so I linked to the digital stamp. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have coloured parts of the christmas hat with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. I have fussy cut the image.

I have cut 2 stars from red cardstock with the biggest die from the set Old stars (D180502) from Gummiapan. I have glued them together on one of the points. I added the sheep with foamtape on the tag. I have decorated the front of the tag with white snowflake stickers. I have punched a hole in the top point and added white embroidery thread, so I can hang the tag on my present.

Ik heb een tekst van de set Fleece navidad van Whimsy stamps op wit papier gestempeld en daarna heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een kadertje rondom de tag getekend. Ik heb de tekst uitgeknipt en binnen in de tag geplakt. 

I have stamped a sentiment from the set Fleece navidad from Whimsy stamps on white cardstock and added a frame around it with a black fineliner. I have fussy cut the sentiment and glued it inside my tag.

Di's digi designs challenge - Use a digi stamp

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog. Deze keer is onze challenge: Use a digi. Een lekker makkelijke challenge dus. Ik heb een kerstkaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Candycane mice van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt.

Ik heb een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies en die heb ik geëmbost met de Swiss dots embossing folder. Ik heb met dezelfde stansset Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies uit roze gestreept papier van het Striped silly paperpad van Sunny studio stamps een rechthoek gestanst en die heb ik op een witte kaart geplakt nadat ik er een wit lintje omheen heb gebonden. Ik heb het witte rechthoek schuin op de kaart geplakt en ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Christmas mice van Avery elle op mijn kaartje gestempeld en daarna heb ik de kaart versierd met witte pareltjes. 

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog. This time our challenge is Use a digital stamp. A very easy challenge! I have made a christmas card with the digital stamp Candycane mice from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image.

I have die-cut a rectangle from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies and I have embossed it with the Swiss dots embossing folder. I used a larger die from the same die set Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies to cut a rectangle from pink patterned paper from the Striped silly paperpad from Sunny studio stamps. I have glued it on a white card after I tied white ribbon around it. I glued the white square on the card and adhered the image on top of it with foamtape. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Christmas mice from Avery elle on the card and then I decorated the card with white pearls.

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer een nieuw kerstkaartje op mijn blog. Ik heb een grappig schaapje van de stempelset Baa humbug van Clearly besotted gestempeld Aquarel papier smooth Wit 200 gram van Vaessen creative met Versafine clair nocturne inkt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met Distress inkt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een wit kaartje heb ik rood design papier van het Proper pinstripes paperpad (retired) van My favorite things geplakt. Ik heb 2 banners uit wit en zwart papier gesneden. Op de witte banner heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Baa humbug van Clearly besotted gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes.

Goedemorgen, vandaag is het weer mijn beurt om een kaartje te posten op het blog van Gerda Steiner designs. Ik heb deze keer een slimline kerstkaart gemaakt met de clear stempel set Holiday friends van Gerda Steiner designs. Ik heb de afbeeldingen na het stempelen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeeldingen daarna uitgeknipt, maar voor de liefhebbers kan je ook de Holiday friends die set krijgen.

Ik heb met de Slimline marquee die (WSD347) van Whimsy stamps een rechthoek uit kraft karton gestanst. Ik heb dit frame op een stuk zwart karton geplakt en daarna heb ik ze samen op een slimline kraft kaart geplakt. In het linker en rechter vak heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape opgeplakt. In het middelste vak heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Holiday friends van Gerda Steiner designs gestempeld met Versamark inkt en daarna heb ik de tekst geëmbost met witte embossingpoeder. Ik heb uit rood en groen karton kleine sterretjes gestanst met de Star confetti die van Alexandra Renke en die heb ik rondom de afbeeldingen en de tekst geplakt.

This time I have made a Christmas slimline card with the clear stamp set Holiday friends from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut the images, but the Holiday friends die set is also available to use if you prefer those. 

I have cut a rectangle from kraft cardstock with the Slimline marquee die (WSD347) from Whimsy stamps. I have glued it on black cardstock and then I glued them together on a kraft slimline card. In the left and right hole I have glued the images with foamtape. In the hole in the middle I have stamped a sentiment from the set Holiday friends van Gerda Steiner designs with Versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I have die-cut a couple of stars from red and green cardstock with the Star confetti die from Alexandra Renke and I glued those around the images and the sentiment.

Op een witte kaart heb ik een achtergrond gemaakt met Scattered straw, Peacock feathers, Blueprint sketch en Black soot Distress inkt. Ik heb op de achtergrond spetters aangebracht met witte gouache. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en onze challenge is deze keer gesponsord door Dies to die for. Deze keer willen we graag weten of je liever met stansjes of stencils werkt. Ik heb heel veel stansjes, maar ook heel veel stencils. Toch werk ik het liefste met mijn stansjes. Ik vind dat ze altijd een net effect aan je kaart toevoegen. Zelf als je een hele simpele vorm gebruikt, is je kaart netjes afgewerkt. Ik gebruik mijn cirkels ook erg graag om ronde kaarten te maken en dat heb ik dan ook vandaag gedaan voor deze challenge.

Ik heb een kerstkaartje gemaakt met de clear stempelset Holiday penguins van My favorite things. Ik heb de afbeeldingen op Aquarel papier smooth Wit 200 gram van Vaessen creative gestempeld met Versafine clair nocturne inkt en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen geëmbost met witte embossingpoeder. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Distress inkten en daarna heb ik ze uitgeknipt. Ik heb een grote cirkel uit wit karton gesneden met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 van Crealies. Daarna heb ik 2 grote geschulpte cirkels uit rood karton gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 van Crealies. Ik heb ze met de bovenkanten aan elkaar geplakt, zodat ze een kaart worden. Op de witte cirkel heb ik met Tumbled glass distress inkt en het Cloud scene stencil van Altenew een sneeuw achtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb dezelfde kleur inkt gebruikt voor de lucht en daarna heb ik witte sneeuwster stickers in de lucht geplakt. Ik heb de afbeeldingen met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik ben de binnenkant van mijn kaart vergeten te fotograferen, maar die is wel versierd met een witte cirkel waarop ik een tekst van de set Holiday penguins van My favorite things heb gestempeld.

This time we want to know if you like working with dies or if you prefer stencils. I do have a lot of dies, but also a lot of stencils. However I use my dies way more often than my stencils. I just love the finished look they give on your card. Even a very simple shape looks good, when you have used a die-cut. I also love using circle dies to make a circle card, just like I did today.

I have made a christmas card with the clear stamp set Holiday penguins from My favorite things. I have stamped the images on Aquarel papier smooth Wit 200 gram from Vaessen creative with Versafine clair nocturne ink and then I embossed them with white embossingpowder. I have coloured all the images with my Distress inks and then I have fussy cut all the images. I have cut a large circle from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 from Crealies. Then I have cut 2 scalloped circles from red cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 from Crealies. I glued the tops of these circles together to make a card. On the white circle I made a snow floor with Tumbled glass distress ink and the Cloud scene stencil from Altenew. I used the same colour ink to colour the sky and then I have glued white snowflake stickers in the sky. I have added the image with foamtape on the card. I forgot to take a picture from the inside of my card, but inside I glued another white circle after I stamped a sentiment from the set Holiday penguins from My favorite things on it.

Hallo, vandaag mag ik weer een nieuwe kaart posten op het blog van Gerda Steiner designs. Deze keer heb ik een kerstkaartje gemaakt met de clear stempelset Holiday friends van Gerda Steiner designs. Ik heb de kerstman op een apart stukje papier gestempeld. Op mijn kaartje zelf heb ik met behulp van masker papier een rij kerstbomen gestempeld. Ik heb daarna alle afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik de kerstman uitgeknipt. Er zijn ook dies verkrijgbaar voor de Holiday friends set. Ik heb de lucht gekleurd met Tumbled glass distress inkt en daarna heb ik de kerstman met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Met een witte gelpen heb ik daarna sneeuw op mijn kaart getekend. Als laatste heb ik nog een tekst van de stempelset Holiday friends van Gerda Steiner designs op mijn kaartje gestempeld.

Workshop Derwent lightfast pencils from Julia Woning and Gerstacker

Hallo, vorige week heb ik op facebook meegedaan aan een workshop van Julia Woning aangeboden door Gerstacker. We kregen een voorbeeld tekening van deze toekan en die heb ik zelf eerst op grijs pastelmat papier getekend. Dit was erg moeilijk te zien, dus die tekening is niet helemaal goed geslaagd. "s avonds heb ik de tekening ingekleurd via de workshop op facebook (is helaas niet meer te zien) met mijn Derwent lightfast potloden. Gisteravond heb ik de tweede tekening gemaakt en deze keer op wit pastelmat papier. Die is al veel beter gelukt en daar ben ik best tevreden over. :)

Hello, last week I have participated in an online workshop from Julia Woning offered by Gerstacker. We got an example drawing from this toucan and the first time I have drawn it on dark grey pastelmat paper. It was very difficult to make a good drawing, so I am not totally satisfied with the drawing on the grey paper. I have coloured the image with Derwent lightfast pencils. Last night I did the tutorial for the second time, this time on white pastelmat papier. I am really satisfied with the result of this one. :)

Di's digi designs challenge - Lots of layers

 

Hallo, vandaag is er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog begonnen en deze keer is onze challenge: Lots of layers.  Als je me goed kent, weet je dat ik meestal geen kaarten maak met heel veel laagjes, dus dit was een echte challenge. ;) 

Ik heb voor deze challenge een kerstkaart gemaakt met de digitale stempel Poinsettia mouse van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb uit wit karton een rechthoek gesneden en daar heb ik wit borduurgaren rondom gebonden en daarna heb ik het op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 van Crealies een cirkel uit het witte karton gestanst en daarna heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 van Crealies een geschulpte cirkel uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb de cirkels op mijn kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Mini messages van Clearly besotted stamps op de cirkel naast de afbeelding gestempeld. Ik heb de kaart versierd met heeeeel veeel mini pareltjes. Op het rechthoek heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een kader getekend.

I have coloured the stamp with my Polychromos pencils and then I have fussy cut the image. I have cut a rectangle from white cardstock and after I tied white embroidery thread around it, I have glued it on a white card. I have cut a circle from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 from Crealies and used the Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 from Crealies to cut a scalloped circle from white cardstock. I glued both of them on a white card and then I added the image with foamtape on the card. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Mini messages from Clearly besotted stamps on the circle. The card is decorated with looooooooooots of white mini pearls. I have drawn a frame on the rectangle with a black fineliner.

Kleuren met potloden challenge - Kerst/winter

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Kleuren met potloden blog en deze keer is onze challenge Kerst en/of winter. We hebben deze keer meerdere sponsoren en ik heb voor mijn kaartje de digitale stempel Snowmen friends van Polkadoodles gekregen. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb ook nog delen van de afbeelding gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Ik heb een mini slimline kaart gemaakt van wit karton met de grootste stans uit de set Mini slimline C - Ruwe randen (CLCZ83) van Crealies. De roze laag en de witte laag zijn gesneden met de set Mini slimline B (CLCZ82) van Crealies. Ik heb op de witte rechthoek gestempeld met een sneeuwsterretje uit de stempelset Beary happy holidays van Lawn fawn. Ik heb ze gestempeld met Versamark inkt en daarna heb ik ze geëmbost met witte embossingpoeder. Ik heb daarna de bovenkant van dit rechthoek gekleurd met Tumbled glass distress inkt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een toepasselijke tekst van de stempelset Winter woodland van Clearly besotted onder de afbeelding gestempeld. Ik heb nog wat hartjes sequins tussen de sneeuwsterren geplakt. Als laatste heb ik Glossy accents op de hartjes van de afbeelding aangebracht. 

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Kleuren met potloden blog and this time our challenge is Christmas and/or winter. This time we have multiple sponsors and I have received the digital stamp Snowmen friends from Polkadoodles for my card. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I also used the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen to colour parts of the image and then I have fussy cut the image. 

I have made a mini slimline card from white cardstock with the largest die from the set Mini slimline C - Ruwe randen (CLCZ83) from Crealies. The pink and white layers are cut with dies from the set Mini slimline B (CLCZ82) from Crealies. I have stamped on the white rectangle with the a snowflake stamp from the set Beary happy holidays from Lawn fawn. I have stamped them with Versamark ink and then I embossed them with white embossingpowder. I have coloured the top part of this rectangle with Tumbled glass distress ink. I have glued the image with foamtape on the card. Under the image I have stamped the perfect sentiment from the set Winter woodland from Clearly besotted. I have glued a couple of heart sequins in the sky. I have applied Glossy accents on the hearts from the image.

Gerda Steiner designs - Merry christmas

 

Goedemorgen, vandaag is het weer mijn beurt om iets te posten op het blog van Gerda Steiner designs. Deze keer heb ik een kersttag gemaakt. Kerst komt er al snel aan en mijn neefjes vinden het altijd erg leuk als er tags op hun cadeautjes zitten. Op de tag heb ik de digitale stempel Decorating penguin van Gerda Steiner designs gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Ik heb een tag gemaakt met de Tag along dies van Heffy doodle. Ik heb de buitenrand uit rood karton gestanst en het zwart-witte papier komt uit een papierblokje van de Action. Ik heb op wit karton een tekst van de stempelset Simple script van Clearly besotted stamps gestempeld en daarna heb ik de woorden uitgestanst met de Snijmallen smalle tekststrips van Carlijn design. De tekst heb ik op het design papier geplakt. Ik heb van de tag een shakertag gemaakt en daarom heb ik de tag gevuld met sterretjes sequins. De afbeelding is met foamtape op de tag geplakt.

Christmas is coming soon and my nephews always love it when I add a nice tag on their presents. On the tag I have used the digital stamp Decorating penguin from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the image.

I have made a tag with the Tag along dies from Heffy doodle. I have cut the outer edge from red cardstock and the patterned paper is from a paper bloc from Action. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Simple script from Clearly besotted stamps on white cardstock. I have cut the words with the Snijmallen smalle tekststrips from Carlijn design and then I glued it on the patterned paper. I made a shakertag, and used star sequins for the shakers. The image is glued on the tag with foamtape.

As you like it challenge 220 - Your favourite circle embellishment

Hallo, hier is mijn kaart voor de nieuwe challenge op het  As you like it challenge blog. Deze keer worden we gesponsord door Polkadoodles. Deze keer willen we graag weten wat je favoriete ronde versiering voor op een kaart is. Ik heb voor mijn absolute favoriet gekozen: mijn hotfix steentjes. Ik heb er vele in verschillende maten en kleuren en gebruik ze erg graag. Ze zijn makkelijk om te gebruiken, ik heb ze ook in kleine maatjes waardoor je je kaart subtiel kunt versieren en ze zien er gewoon super leuk uit.

Ik heb voor deze challenge een kaart gemaakt met een rubber stempelset van Lili of the valley. Ik heb deze gekregen van een lieve blogvriendin! Ze zijn zo leuk! Dus ik ben er heel blij mee. Helaas is deze momenteel niet verkrijgbaar als rubber stempelset, maar wel als digistempel, dus daarvan zal ik het linkje toevoegen. Dit zijn de schattige Alphabears van Lili of the valley. Ik heb de beertjes gestempeld die samen het woord hello vormen. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb daarna de afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. 

Met de Multi frame dies "Slimline hearts" (MFD142) van Nellie Snellen heb ik een slimline kaart gemaakt van kraft karton. De laag er boven op is uit wit karton gestanst met de Nellie's multi frame dies "Slimline squares" (MFD140) van Nellie Snellen. Op deze rechthoek heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb nog een extra rechthoek gestanst en deze heb ik daarna ook nog met een heuvelstans uit de set Shape dies  Village (SD214) van Nellie Snellen gestanst. Ik heb de heuvel gekleurd met Twisted Citron Distress inkt en Mowed lawn distress inkt en daarna heb ik deze op de wolkenachtergrond geplakt. Ik heb alle beertjes met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een aantal kleine bloemetjes uit wit karton gestanst met de Small flowers & leaves (45.0331) van Leane creatief  en die heb ik op de heuvel geplakt. Ik heb de bloemetjes versierd met een blauw hotfix steentje en daarna heb ik in de lucht kristallen hotfix steentjes geplakt.

This time we want to know what your favourite circle embellishment is.  I have chosen my absolute favourite: my hotfix gems. I have many in different sizes and colours and love using them. They are really easy to apply on your cards. I love that they are available in tiny sizes, so they are a nice subtle decoration on your card and they look amazing!

I have made a card with a rubber stamp set from Lili of the valley for this card. I have gotten this stampset from a sweet crafty friend! They are so nice! So I am really happy with them. Unfortunately this set isn't available as a rubber stamp at the moment, but you can buy it as a digital stamp set, So I will add a link to that set. These are the cute Alphabears from Lili of the valley. I have stamped the bears that make the word hello. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. Then I have fussy cut the bears. 

With the Multi frame dies "Slimline hearts" (MFD142) from Nellie Snellen I have made a card from kraft cardstock. The layer on the card is cut from white cardstock with the Nellie's multi frame dies "Slimline squares" (MFD140) from Nellie Snellen. I have made a cloudy background on that rectangle with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. I have cut another rectangle from white cardstock and turned it into a hill with a die from the set Shape dies  Village (SD214) from Nellie Snellen. I have coloured this hill with Twisted Citron Distress ink and Mowed lawn distress ink and then I glued it on the card. I have added the bears on the card with foamtape. From white cardstock I have cut a couple of little flowers with the Small flowers & leaves (45.0331) from Leane creatief  and I glued those on the hill. I have decorated the flowers with a blue hotfix gem and then I added crystal hotfix gems in the sky.
