Merry christmas!

Hello, I want to wish everyone a merry christmas!

Today I am showing you a little project. I have made a couple of christmas penguins for my nephews, that are for the christmas tree. They hold something delicious in their wings and I am sure my nephews will love them! I have made the penguins with the silhouette. I have adjusted the pattern a little bit, because I made their wings longer, so they can hold the chocolate in their belly with the wings. I have used the file P is for penguin by Sarah Bailey. I have glued wobbly eyes on the penguin. I made a little hole in their hat and tied them with white cord in the tree.

This will be my last post for this year. I haven't been feeling well the past few months, so I haven't been crafting a lot. I really wanted to, but nothing came out of my hands, my head was to full with other stuff. On top of that I have been really busy with other stuff, so I don't have anything to post. But slowly I notice I feel that I want to create again and I have to energy to actually do it. So behind the scenes I am already preparing some blogposts for the new year. January will probably very busy, because I am working  on a fun private card project. Very fun to do, but a lot of work! But I do hope 2019 will be more creative for me, with more cards and other projects!

As you like it challenge 146 - Anything goes

As you like it challenge blog.

Gerda Steiner designs - Fa-la-la-la-llamas tags

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new project on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. I needed 4 tags for christmas and made those with the funny Fa-la-la-la-llamas from Gerda Steiner designs. I printed the llama's and then I coloured them with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. Clearly besotted christmas tags

Goodmorning, today I have a new post on Merry Monday. It has been a bit quiet on my blog, because I was on holiday last week and I was also not able to take good pictures because of the dark bad weather over here. :( Yesterday the sun was shining, so I was able to take pictures of a couple of projects.
For today I made 2 christmas tags. I have die-cut the tags from white cardstock with the Dotted tags from Waffleflower. I made a large and little tag. On both tags I used stamps from the set Sweet angel from Clearly besotted stamps. I have put masking tape on the outer edges of the tag and then I stamped all the images on the tag. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos potloden and the black glaze pen. I coloured the wings and dresses with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen

On the large tag I places masking paper around the edges of the rectangle and then I coloured the inside of the tag with Tumbled glass, Broken china, Faded jeans and Chipped saphire distress ink. I first stamped the images on masking paper. The sentiment is stamped with versamark ink and then I applied white embossingpowder. Then I applied Deep impression chunky enamels white from Stampendous on the tag and then I also heated that with the heattool.

On the little tag I coloured the sky with my Polychromos pencils. I stamped the sentiment with black ink on the tag. I added snow in the sky with a white gelpen.

STAMP: Sweet angel from Clearly besotted stamps
COLORING MEDIUM: Polychromos pencils, Distress inks
PAPER: White cs

Di's digi designs challenge - For a child

As you like it 144 - Rubber or digi

Today it is time again for a new challenge on the As you like it challenge blog and this we want to know what you prefer to work with: Rubber/clear stamps or digital stamps. I love working with both kinds of stamps. Both products have their own advantages. I love that when I use a rubber or clear stamp that I can embos my image, which makes watercolouring my image so much more simple. The big advantage of digital stamps is that you can decide yourself what size you want to print your image. I also love it, that you can easily mirror an image, because sometimes that looks better on a card. Another very nice advantage: they don't take much room to store! Because of these reasons I have picked a digital stamp for my card today. For my sentiments is almost always use a rubber or clear stamp. They are really easy to stamp on your project when you are almost done with your card.

On my card I used the digital stamp Mice making snowman from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and then I have fussy cut the image. I glued a strip of pink design paper from the Graphic grid paperpack from My favorite things on the bottom of a white card. On another piece of white cardstock I then made a background for the image with Peacock feathers distress ink. I glued the image with foamtape on the white cardstock. In the right upper corner I stamped a sentiment from the set Polar peek-a-boo pals from Avery elle. With Peacock feathers distress ink I stamped a couple of snowflakes around the image. I glued the white cardstock with the image with foamtape on my card and then I used a punch to round the bottom corners.

STAMP: Mice making snowman from Di's digi stamps, Polar peek-a-boo pals from Avery elle
COLORING MEDIUM: Polychromos pencils, Distress inks
PAPER: White cs, Graphic grid paperpack from My favorite things
INK: Versafine onyx black, Peacock feathers distress ink
ACCESSORIES: Corner punch
