As you like it challenge 333 - Your favourite season

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt de challenge gesponsord door Last minute Manda. Deze keer willen we weten wat je lievelings seizoen is. Ik vind dat alle seizoenen hun eigen charme hebben, maar als ik echt moet kiezen dan kies ik voor de lente. Het is de start van het mooiere weer, maar het is gelukkig nog niet te warm. De dagen gaan weer langer duren. De bomen krijgen weer blaadjes. Mensen worden weer vrolijker omdat ze de zon weer meer zien, dus een fijne tijd! 

Bij de lente horen tulpen en dus heb ik een kaart gemaakt met de digitale stempel Bunny tulips van Conie Fong. Deze afbeelding had ik ook voor de vorige challenge gebruikt. Ik had de afbeelding twee keer geprint en ook meteen twee keer gekleurd. Deze versie heb ik gekleurd in vrolijke lente lentekleuren met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en de witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Hand drawn squares with small stitches (D231074) van Gummiapan heb ik uit oranje design papier van het Spring sunburst paper pack van Sunny studio stamps een vierkant gestanst en deze heb ik op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb de onderkant van de afbeelding gestanst met de Hand drawn circles with small stitches (D231072) van Gummiapan en daarna heb ik met dezelfde stans een cirkel uit wit karton gestanst. Op de witte cirkel heb ik met Peacock feathers Distress inkt een achtergrond voor de afbeelding geblend. Ik heb een tekst van de clear stempelset Handletter - Huwelijk van Craft emotions (no longer in business) op mijn kaart gestempeld. Ik heb de andere hoeken van de kaart versierd met witte hotfix steentjes. 

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the As You Like It Challenge Blog, and this time the challenge is sponsored by Last minute Manda. This time, we would like to know what your favourite season is. I think all the seasons have their own charm, but if I really had to choose, I would pick spring. It marks the beginning of warmer weather, although thankfully it is not too hot yet. The days start to get longer again, the trees begin to grow new leaves, and people seem happier because they get to enjoy more sunshine. It is such a lovely time of year!

Tulips are synonymous with spring, so I made a card using the digital stamp Bunny Tulips by Conie Fong. I also used this image for the previous challenge. I printed the image twice and coloured both copies at the same time. For this version, I used cheerful spring colours with my Polychromos pencils, a black glaze pen from Sakura, and a white Uni Posca pen. I then cut out the image. Using the Hand drawn squares with small stitches (D231074) by Gummiapan, I die-cut a square from orange patterned paper from the Spring sunburst paper pack from Sunny studio stamps and adhered it to a white card base. I die-cut the bottom of the image using the Hand drawn circles with small stitches (D231072) by Gummiapan, and then used the same die to cut a circle from white cardstock. On the white circle, I blended a background for the image using Peacock feathers Distress ink. I stamped a sentiment from the Handletter – Huwelijk clear stamp set by CraftEmotions (which is unfortunately no longer in business) onto my card. Finally, I embellished the remaining corners of the card with white hotfix gemstones.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt de challenge gesponsord door Lawn fawn. Deze week willen we graag kaarten zien met je lievelingsdier. Het zal geen verrassing zijn voor welk diertje ik heb gekozen, namelijk de muis. Muisjes zijn al jaren mijn lievelingsdieren. Mijn moeder noemde me vroeger al muis en sindsdien ben ik fan van de muisjes. Ik vind ze gewoon erg schattig met hun grote oren. 

Vandaag heb ik een kaartje gemaakt met het schattige muisje van de digitale stempelset Floral friends van Isabel Cristina stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Black glaze pen van Sakura en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 42 van Crealies heb ik een vierkant uit wit karton gestanst en daarna heb ik deze gestanst met de Quilted card front die van Concord & 9th zodat er een mooi patroon in het karton ontstaat. Ik heb het vierkant met foamtape op een witte kaart geplakt. Het roze papier is een overblijfsel van een tag die ik heb gesneden met de Tag along dies van Heffy doodle (no longer in business). Ik heb het roze stuk op mijn kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Uit wit karton heb ik de tekst thanks gestanst met de Many sentiments coverplate dies van The Ton stamps en daarna heb ik de tekst op het roze karton geplakt. Ik heb de kaart versierd met roze enamel dots

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and this time our challenge is being sponsored by Lawn fawn. This week we want to see cards with your favourite animal on it. It will be no surprise that I have gone for a mouse on my card. Mice have been my favourite animal for years. When I was little my mother used to call me mouse and that is when my love for mice started. I just love their look with those big ears.

Today I have made a card with the adorable mouse from the digital stamp set Floral friends from Isabel Cristina stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 42 from Crealies I have cut a square from white cardstock and then I die-cut it with the Quilted card front die from Concord & 9th so the square gets a nice pattern on it. I have glued the square on a white card. The pink cardstock is a left over from a tag that I have cut with the Tag along dies from Heffy doodle (no longer in business). I glued it on the card and then I added the image with foamtape. I have cut the sentiment from white cardstock with the Many sentiments coverplate dies from The Ton stamps and then I glued the sentiment on the white cardstock. I have decorated the card with pink enamel dots.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt onze challenge gesponsord door Rachelle Anne Miller. Deze keer willen we graag weten of je wel of juist niet een tekst op je kaart of project gebruikt. Ik gebruik bijna altijd een tekst op mijn kaarten, omdat ik vind dat een tekst de kaart echt af maakt. Soms als ik nog niet weet voor wie een kaart is, wacht ik nog even met het toevoegen van een tekst en zodra ik weet voor wie en voor welke gelegenheid de kaart is, voeg ik pas dan de tekst toe. 

Deze keer heb ik een doosje gemaakt met mijn Silhouette cameo. Het is de Bow sliding box (392630) van Nilmara Quintela.  Ik heb het doosje gemaakt van rood en wit karton. Ik heb het doosje versierd met een grote tag van de set Tall tags die-namics van My favorite things, die ik uit rood karton heb gestanst. Ik heb witte seam binding aan de tag vastgemaakt en met wit borduurgaren heb ik een strikje rondom het witte seam binding gemaakt. Ik heb de tekst met de Many sentiments coverplate van The ton stamps uit wit karton gestanst en deze heb ik op de tag geplakt. Ik heb de tag met foamtape op het doosje geplakt.

I hardly make any card without a sentiment, because I think my card isn't finished without a sentiment. Sometimes when I don't know for which person I have made my card, I don't add it at that moment, but I wait until I know for which person it is and for what occasion. 

This time I have made a box with the Silhouette cameo. It is the Bow sliding box (392630) from Nilmara Quintela. I have made the box from white and red cardstock. I have decorated the box with a large tag that I have cut from red cardstock with the set Tall tags die-namics from My favorite things. I attached white seambinding on the tag with a little bow from white embroidery thread around it. I have glued a sentiment from the set Many sentiments coverplate from The ton stamps that I have cut from white cardstock. I glued the tag with foamtape on the box.

As you like it challenge 282 - Soft or bold colours

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag weten of je liever kaarten maakt met zachte kleuren of juist felle opvallende kleuren. Ik hou van kaarten in zachte kleuren maar op de een of andere manier kom ik zelf toch altijd op felle opvallende kleuren uit en daarom heb ik vandaag ook felle kleuren gebruikt. 

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met één van de schattige afbeeldingen van de stempelset Flower friends van Clearly besotted. Ik heb de afbeelding gestempeld op Florence watercolour paper smooth van Vaessen creative met Versafine clair nocturne inkt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Karin brushmarkers pro en ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Old rectangle slimline card (D210421) van Gummiapan heb ik een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst. Hier heb ik met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees op gestempeld. Ik heb het rechthoek op zwart karton geplakt en daarna heb ik ze samen op een roze slimline kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Uit roze en zwart karton heb ik de tekst gestanst met de Many sentiments Coverplate dies from The ton.

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and this time we would love to hear if your prefer making cards with soft colours of bold colours. I really love cards in soft colours, but most of the times when I make a card it ends up with really bold colours. So for today I also used bold colours. 

I have made a card with one of the adorable images from the stamp set Flower friends from Clearly besotted. I have stamped the image on Florence watercolour paper smooth from Vaessen creative with Versafine clair nocturne ink and then I embossed the image with clear embossingpowder. I have coloured the image with my Karin brushmarkers pro and then I have fussy cut the image. With the Old rectangle slimline card (D210421) from Gummiapan I have cut a rectangle panel from white cardstock and with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees I have stamped on it. I glued the panel on black cardstock and then I glued them together on a pink card. I added the image with foamtape on the card. I have cut the sentiment from pink and black cardstock with the Many sentiments Coverplate dies from The ton.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag een kaartje zien waarop je restjes papier verwerkt die je nog hebt liggen. Ik gebruik al een tijd heel graag het design papier van Sunny studio stamps en bewaar zowat elk stukje dat ik van mijn velletjes overhoud nadat ik er een kaart mee heb gemaakt. Deze keer had ik echt geluk, want ik vond nog een vrij groot stuk van het gele papier en dat was perfect voor mijn kaartje van vandaag.

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Daisy mouse van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Black glaze pen van Sakura en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb uit mijn restje geel papier van het Classic gingham papers van Sunny studio stamps een rechthoek gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 118 van Crealies. Ik heb het papier schuin op een witte kaart geplakt. Met de Confetti stempel van Cats on appletrees heb ik rondom en op het gele papier stipjes op mijn kaart gestempeld en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op het design papier geplakt. Ik heb wit borduurgaren rondom de voorkant van mijn kaart gebonden en midden op het strikje heb ik een gele enamel dot geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Handletter - Huwelijk (retired) van Craft emotions onder op het design papier naast mijn muisje gestempeld. 

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog and this time we would love you to use your scraps and stash on your card. I have been a big fan of the patterned paper from Sunny studio stamps for a while and I almost never throw scraps of that paper away after I have made a card with it. For this challenge I was really lucky because I still had a big piece of the yellow paper left and it has the perfect size for my card today.

I have made a card with the digital stamp Daisy mouse from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have cut a rectangle from the yellow paper from the Classic gingham papers from Sunny studio stamps with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 118 from Crealies and then I glued it on a white card. I have stamped around and on the yellow patterned paper with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees and then I glued the image with foamtape on the card. I tied white embroidery thread around the card and on the bow I have glued a yellow enamel dot. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Handletter - Huwelijk (retired) from Craft emotions on the patterned paper.

Karin Joan Sketch stencils - A thank you tag

Hallo, vandaag laat ik een tag zien die ik heb gemaakt met de nieuwe Sketch stencils van Karin Joan. Ik heb met de Cardzz 193 Slimline labels glad (CLCZ193) van Crealies een grote tag uit wit karton gestanst. Het blauwe papier is eigenlijk behang. Het lijkt net op spijkerstof en daarom heb ik al jaren geleden deze rol gekocht, omdat ik vond dat ik hem perfect bij het kaartenmaken zou kunnen gebruiken. Daarna heb ik met de Sketch stencils Floral 2 van Karin Joan een mooie bloem met potlood op de tag geschetst. Ik heb de tekening overgetrokken met Witte gelpennen van Sakura. Ik heb nog wat extra details op mijn tekening aangebracht met een Derwent drawing potlood Chinese white. De tekst is uit wit karton gestanst met een stans van de set A tag for all (retired) van Avery elle. 

Hello, today I am showing a tag that I have made with the new Sketch stencils from Karin Joan. I have used the Cardzz 193 Slimline labels glad (CLCZ193) from Crealies to cut a large label from white cardstock. The blue paper is actually wallpaper. It really looks like jeans fabric and that is why I have bought the roll years ago, because I thought it would be perfect to use in my cardmaking. I have made a flower on the blue paper with the Sketch stencils Floral 2 from Karin Joan and a pencil. I have traced the image with White gelpens from Sakura. I added some extra details with a Derwent drawing pencil Chinese white. The sentiment is cut with a die from the set A tag for all (retired) from Avery elle from white cardstock.

Hallo, vandaag post ik een tag die ik heb gemaakt voor  Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding Frog prince (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Mini slim tag die set (WSD343a) van Whimsy stamps heb ik een tag uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb de onderkant van de tag ook nog eens uit groen stipjespapier van het Mix-n-match 2 paperpack (WSDP38) van Whimsy stamps gestanst. Op de witte tag heb ik met het It's cloudy - 6x9 stencil (WSS107c) van Whimsy stamps en Tumbled glass Distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de tag geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de set Everyday scripted sentiments (CWSD155) van Whimsy stamps op wit karton gestempeld. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een kader rondom de tekst getekend en daarna heb ik de tekst uitgeknipt en op de tag geplakt.

I glued the dotted paper on the tag and then I glued the image with foamtape on the tag. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Everyday scripted sentiments (CWSD155) from Whimsy stamps on white cardstock. With a black fineliner I have drawn a frame around the sentiment, I have fussy cut it and then I glued it on the tag.

Hallo, vandaag post ik weer een nieuw kaartje voor Whimsy stamps. Deze keer heb ik een kaart gemaakt met de afbeelding Wee bunny (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb een vierkant uit donkerblauw karton gesneden. Ik heb hierop met een witte gelpen lijntjes langs de randen van het vierkant getekend. Ik heb het vierkant daarna op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de set Simple sentiment strips (CWSD354) van Whimsy stamps op een strip blauw karton gestempeld met Versamark inkt en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met witte embossingpoeder. Ik heb de strip op een bredere strip van wit karton geplakt en daarna heb ik beide strips op het vierkant geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna met foamtape op het kaartje geplakt. Daarna heb ik de kaart versierd met witte stipjes stickers.

I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have cut a square from dark blue cardstock and with a white gelpen I have drawn lines around the edges of the square. I have glued the square on a white card. On a strip of dark blue cardstock I have stamped a sentiment from the set Simple sentiment strips (CWSD354) from Whimsy stamps with Versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I have glued te strip on a larger strip of white cardstock and then I glued them both on the square. I have glued the image with foamtape on the card. The card is decorated with white sticker dots.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog. Deze keer wordt onze challenge gesponsord door Lili of the valley. Deze keer willen we graag weten wat je favoriete bloem is. Ik ben erg gek op klaprozen en cosmea bloemen. Vorige week heb ik al een kaartje voor Ayli gemaakt met een klaproos en dus heb ik deze keer voor de cosmea gekozen. Ik vind ze er gewoon erg leuk uitzien en wilde ze al lang zelf eens tekenen. Door deze challenge heb ik dat eindelijk eens gedaan.

I really love poppies and cosmos flowers. Last week I made a card with a poppy for the ayli challenge, so this week I decided to use the cosmos. I really love the look of these flowers and I wanted to draw one myself for a long time. This challenge was the perfect excuse to really do it! 

Afgelopen vrijdag ben ik naar de kreadoe geweest in Utrecht. Ik heb daar zwarte enveloppen 7x10 cm van Kimya creatieve verpakkingen gekocht. Het leek me heel leuk om daar kleine kaartjes voor te maken met daarop mooie bloemen getekend met zwarte fineliners. Het past dus ook nog perfect bij het thema van deze challenge. Ik heb op Pixabay gezocht naar mooie foto's van cosmea bloemen en daarop heb ik mijn tekeningen gebaseerd. Ik heb de kaartjes gesneden uit wit karton met een mooie structuur en daarna heb ik de schets gemaakt met potlood. Daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen overgetrokken met zwarte fineliners. Met een zwarte copic marker heb ik kleine spatjes op het kaartje aangebracht.

Last friday I visited a large kraft fair in Utrecht. On the fair i have bought little black envelopes 7x10 cm from Kimya creatieve verpakkingen. I had the idea to make little cards for these with pretty flowers drawings done with fineliners. It is also perfect for this week challenge. I have looked for some inspiration pictures on Pixabay and used those as an inspiration for my cards. I have cut the little cards from white cardstock with a nice structure. I made the sketches with a pencil and then I traced them with black fineliners. I added little paint splatters with a black copic marker.

To finish the cards I have stamped 2 different sentiment (get well and thank you) from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions on the cards.

Clearly besotted - Three cards with cute images

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik 3 kleine kaartjes die ik heb gemaakt met een stempelset van Clearly besotted. Ik heb best veel stempelsets van dit merk en ik gebruik ze echt te weinig. Mijn goede voornemen voor dit jaar is dan ook om meer met dit merk te werken.

Goodmorning, today I am posting 3 little cards that I have made with a stampset from Clearly besotted. I have quite a lot of stampsets from this brand, but I don't use them very often. My intention for this new year is to use them more often. 

Ik begin meteen met 3 kleine kaartjes die ik heb gemaakt met de stempelset Blooming poppy plushies from Clearly besotted. Ik ben gek op afbeeldingen van schattige diertjes en ik vind klaprozen ook erg mooie bloemen. Een stempelset van schattige dieren gecombineerd met klaprozen moest ik dus echt wel hebben. Ik heb 3 hele eenvoudige kaartjes gemaakt met deze set. Ik heb de afbeelding samen met de tekst op een wit kaartje van 10 bij 10 cm gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. 

I am starting today with 3 little cards that I have made with the stamp set Blooming poppy plushies from Clearly besotted. I really love images with cute animals and I think poppies are pretty flowers. A stamp set that combines those together was a real must have for me, I have made 3 simple cards with this set. I stamped the image together with a sentiment on a little card (10 by 10 cm). I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. 

Op het tweede kaartje heb ik de afbeelding van een lief klein kuikentje gebruikt. 

On the second card I have used an image from a cute little chicken.

Op het laatste kaartje heb ik de afbeelding van de eekhoorn gebruikt.

On the last card I have used the squirrel image.

Di's digi designs challenge - Give thanks

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag een kaartje zien waar je iemand mee kan bedanken. 

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Hydrangea Ted van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Ik heb een slimline kaart gemaakt van donkerblauw karton. De geschulpte laag is uit wit karton gestanst met een stans van de set Slimline banners (CR1538) van Marianne design. Daarna heb ik een rechthoek uit donkerblauw karton gesneden en daarna heb ik deze op de witte laag geplakt. Nadat ik de rechthoekige lagen op mijn kaart heb geplakt, heb ik foamtape gebruikt om de afbeelding op mijn kaart te plakken. Uit wit karton heb ik twee het woord thanks gestanst met de Scripty thanks die van Lawn fawn. Ik heb de woorden op elkaar geplakt en daarna heb ik ze samen op mijn kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart versierd met witte pareltjes.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog and this time we want to see thank you cards. 

I have made a card with the digital stamp Hydrangea Ted from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. I have made a slimline card from dark blue cardstock. The scalloped layer is cut with a die from the set Slimline banners (CR1538) from Marianne design from white cardstock. I have cut a rectangle from dark blue cardstock and glued it on top of the white cardstock and then I glued them together on the blue card. I used foamtape to glue the image on the card. I have cut the word thanks twice from white cardstock with the Scripty thanks die from Lawn fawn. I have glued the words on top of each other and then I glued it on the card. I have decorated the card with white pearls.

Isa Down - Loose florals in ink

Goedemorgen, een tijdje geleden ben ik lid geworden van Skillshare. Ik heb daar een les gevolgd van Isa Down. In deze les leer je een cowboy poppy tekenen en daarna kleur je hem ook nog in met aquarelverf. 

Voor mijn kaartje van vandaag heb ik besloten om alleen de zwart-wit versie te gebruiken. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 130 van Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst en daarop heb ik eerst met potlood mijn klaproos getekend. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding overgetrokken met zwarte fineliners in verschillende maten. Naast de afbeelding heb ik een kleine tekst van de set Simple script van Clearly besotted gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op een rode kaart geplakt. 

Goodmorning, a while ago I became a member of Skillshare. On skillshare I have followed a lesson from Isa Down. In that lesson we were learning how to draw a cowboy poppy with ink and then we coloured it with watercolours.

For my card I decided to go for a black and white poppy only. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 130 from Crealies I have cut a rectangle from white cardstock and then I started drawing the poppy on it with a pencil. After I was done I traced the image with black fineliners in different sizes. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Simple script from Clearly besotted on the rectangle. I have glued the image with foamtape on a red card.
