As you like it challenge 332 - Your favourite sketch

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lawn fawn. Deze keer willen we graag je favoriete kaarten schets zien en we willen ook graag weten waarom die je favoriet is. Ik maak graag kaarten met een kleine strip design papier aan de onderkant of juist aan de zijkant. Daarnaast heb je dan een groot stuk karton waarop je dan fijn je afbeelding en tekst kunt plaatsen. Ik ben niet goed in het gebruiken van design papier maar op deze manier lukt het zelfs mij. ;)

Ik heb deze keer een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Bunny tulips van Conie Fong. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een witte Uni Posca pen voor wat accentjes. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Ik heb een strip roze gestreept papier van het Dots & stripes pastels paperpad van Sunny studio stamps aan de zijkant van een A5 kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik met foamtape een stuk wit karton op de voorkant van de kaart geplakt. Met Tumbled glass distress inkt heb ik een achtergrond voor de afbeelding geblend op het witte karton. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de rand van het witte karton getekend en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Studio light Essentials Party (SL-ES-Stamp 177) (retired) van Studio light boven de afbeelding gestempeld. 

Hello, today a new challenge is starting again on the As you like it challenge blog, and this time we’re sponsored by Lawn fawn. This time, we’d love to see your favourite card sketch, and we’d also like to know why it’s your favourite. I enjoy making cards with a small strip of patterned paper at the bottom or along the side. This leaves you with a large area of cardstock where you can neatly place your image and sentiment. I’m not very confident using patterned paper, but this approach works even for me. ;)

This time, I made a card using the digital stamp Bunny Tulips by Conie Fong. I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, a black glaze pen from Sakura, and a white Uni Posca pen for a few highlights. I then cut out the image. I adhered a strip of pink striped paper from the Dots & stripes pastels paperpad by Sunny studio stamps to the side of an A5 card. Then I used foam tape to attach a piece of white cardstock to the front of the card. Using Tumbled glass distress ink, I blended a background for the image onto the white cardstock. I drew a line around the edge of the white cardstock with a black fineliner, and then attached the image to the card with foam tape. Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the Studio light Essentials Party (SL-ES-Stamp 177) (retired) from Studio light above the image.

A birthday present

Hallo, vandaag laat ik een cadeautasje zien dat ik voor een verjaardag heb gemaakt. Ik heb mijn tasje versierd met de digitale stempel Bouquet chick van From the heart stamps (no longer in business). Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt.

Met de set Box for gifts and advent large (CCABL33) van Crealies heb ik van kraftpapier een doosje gemaakt. Ik heb hier een chocoladereep in gedaan en ondanks dat het doosje best groot is, was het toch nog proppen om de reep erin te krijgen. Aan de onderkant van het doosje heb ik een stukje geel stipjespapier van het Colour megapack brights van Find it media geplakt. Ik heb het woord gefeliciteerd uit zwart karton gestanst met de Thin alphabet dies van Gummiapan en dat heb ik op het gele papier geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op mijn doosje geplakt. Ik heb de gaatjes in het doosje met een tang gemaakt omdat ik dat mooier vind worden dan met de stans uit de set. Van wit koord heb ik een strikje gemaakt dat door de gaatjes is gebonden.

Hello, today I’m showing a little gift bag that I made for a birthday. I decorated my bag with the digital stamp Bouquet Chick from From the Heart Stamps (no longer in business). I coloured the image using my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen from Sakura, and a white Uni Posca pen, and then I cut the image out.

Using the Box for gifts and advent large (CCABL33) by Crealies, I made a box from kraft paper. I placed a chocolate bar inside, and even though the box is quite large, it was still a bit of a squeeze to fit the bar in. At the bottom of the box, I attached a piece of yellow polka dot paper from the Colour megapack brights from Find it media. I die-cut the word “congratulations” from black cardstock using the Thin Alphabet dies from Gummiapan and stuck it onto the yellow paper. I attached the image to my box with foam tape. I made the holes in the box using pliers because I think it gives a nicer result than using the die from the set. I tied a small bow using white cord and threaded it through the holes.

Stamping Bella - Gefeliciteerd

Hallo, ik heb weer een verjaardagskaartje gemaakt en deze keer met de afbeelding Petunia in love (digital stamp) van Stamping Bella. Sinds kort verkoopt Stamping Bella ook digitale stempels en dat vind ik erg leuk. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Ik heb uit wit karton een vierkant gestanst met de Hand drawn squares with small stitches (D231074) van Gummiapan en daar heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 123 van Crealies een cirkel uit gestanst. Ik heb dit witte karton met foamtape op een vierkant van paars karton geplakt en daarna heb ik ze samen op een witte kaart bevestigd. Ik heb de afbeelding in het gat van de cirkel geplakt, gedeeltelijk met foamtape. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Stempels "Gefeliciteerd variaties" van Carlijn design op de kaart gestempeld. In de hoekjes heb ik witte enamel dots geplakt. 

Hello, I’ve made another birthday card, and this time I used the image Petunia in love (digital stamp) by Stamping Bella. Stamping Bella has recently started selling digital stamps as well, which I really like. I coloured the image using my Polychromos pencils and then cut it out.

From white cardstock, I die-cut a square using the Hand drawn squares with small stitches (D231074) by Gummiapan, and then I cut a circle out of it using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 123 from Crealies. I mounted this white piece onto a square of purple cardstock using foam tape, and then attached them together onto a white card. I placed the image into the circular opening, partly using foam tape. Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the Stempels "Gefeliciteerd variaties" by Carlijn design onto the card, and added white enamel dots in the corners.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Dies to die for, Voor de challenge van vandaag willen we graag weten of je liever felle kleuren of juist pastel kleuren gebruikt op je kaarten. Ik vind beide mooi, maar voor mijn gevoel zijn mijn kaarten meestal meer in felle kleuren, dus ik heb vandaag daar ook voor gekozen. 

Ik heb de prachtige klaprozen van de clear stempelset Poppies for you van The Stamp market gestempeld met Versafine clair nocturne inkt op aquarelpapier en daarna heb ik de afbeelding geëmbost met clear embossing poeder. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met Aquadrops van Schmincke die ik gemengd heb met wat druppels Iridescent medium van Winsor & Newton. Zo krijg je een mooie glitterverf, maar dat ik helaas niet goed te zien op de foto. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Op een roze kaart heb ik een rechthoek die ik uit zwart-wit streepjespapier van het Positive vibes paperpad van Craft sensations heb gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies geplakt. Uit wit karton heb ik een kader gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 110 van Crealies en dat heb ik op het designpapier geplakt. Ik heb de bloem met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt. De tekst is uit wit karton gestanst met het ABC with me alfabet (Jocelijne design) van Carlijn design. Ik heb de kaart versierd met witte hotfix steentjes.

Hello, today marks the start of a new challenge on the As you like it challenge blog , and this time we are sponsored by Dies to die for. For today’s challenge, we’d like to know whether you prefer to use bright colours or pastel shades on your cards. I like both, but I feel that my cards tend to feature brighter colours more often, so that’s what I’ve chosen to go with today.

I stamped the beautiful poppies from the Poppies for you clear stamp set from The Stamp market using Versafine clair nocturne ink onto watercolour paper, and then heat-embossed the image with clear embossing powder. I coloured the image using the Schmincke Aquadrops, which I mixed with a few drops of Iridescent medium from Winsor & Newton. This creates a lovely shimmering paint effect, although unfortunately it doesn’t show up very well in the photo. I then fussy-cut the image. On a pink card base, I adhered a rectangle cut from black-and-white striped paper from the Positive vibes paperpad from Craft sensations, die-cut using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies. I then die-cut a frame from white cardstock using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 110 from Crealies and layered it onto the patterned paper. I attached the flower to the card using foam tape. The sentiment was die-cut from white cardstock using the ABC with me alphabet (Jocelijne design) by Carlijn design. Finally, I embellished the card with white hotfix gems.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lili of the valley. Deze challenge willen we graag weten of je liever eenvoudige kaarten maakt of juist drukke kaarten met veel versieringen. Ik ben erg fan van eenvoudige kaarten. Ik vind het belangrijk om de afbeelding de hoofdrol te laten spelen en ik gebruik meestal niet veel versieringen en als ik dat doe, dan zijn ze meestal klein en vrij plat.

Ik heb ook vandaag weer een verjaardagskaart voor mijn moeder gemaakt en deze keer heb ik één van de afbeeldingen van de stempelset Spring awakens colourful crocus van Studio EELZ op aquarel papier gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met mijn Derwent inktense potloden. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 169 van Crealies en daarna heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Handletter - Huwelijk van Craft emotions (no longer in business) naast de afbeelding gestempeld. Ik heb het rechthoek met de afbeelding met foamtape op een paarse kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes. 

Hello, today a new challenge is starting over on the As you like it challenge blog  , and this time we’re sponsored by Lili of the valley For this challenge, we’d like to know whether you prefer to make simple cards or more elaborate ones with lots of embellishments. I’m definitely a fan of simple cards. I think it’s important to let the image take centre stage, and I usually don’t use many embellishments—if I do, they tend to be small and fairly flat.

Today I’ve also made another birthday card for my mum. This time, I stamped one of the images from the Spring awakens colourful crocus from Studio EELZ onto watercolour paper. I then coloured the image using my Derwent inktense pencils. After that, I die-cut the image using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 169 from Crealies, and stamped a sentiment from the Handletter – Huwelijk stamp set by Craft Emotions (no longer in business) next to the image. I attached the rectangle with the image to a purple card using foam tape and finished the card with a few black hotfix gems.

Hallo, mijn moeder heeft me een tijdje geleden gevraagd om wat verjaardagskaarten te maken en vandaag post ik mijn tweede kaartje met deze leuke bloem uit de stempelset Bloomin' fabulous van Alpaca pals. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Op een witte kaart heb ik roze gestreept papier van het Pattern paper pad - Shades of pink van Studio light geplakt, nadat ik dat heb gestanst met de Hand drawn squares with small stitches (D231074) van Gummiapan. Uit wit karton heb ik de Note page van Mama elephant gestanst. Op het memoblaadje heb ik de afbeelding geplakt met foamtape. Uit zwart karton heb ik met het Thin alphabet (D190603) van Gummiapan de tekst gestanst en deze heb ik ook op het memoblaadje geplakt. Ik heb het blaadje met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt en ik heb de bovenrand van het blaadje extra rommelig gemaakt, zodat het net lijkt alsof het uit een notitieblok is gescheurd. Ik heb de kaart versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes.

Hello, a little while ago my mum asked me to make some birthday cards, and today I’m sharing my second card featuring this lovely flower from the Bloomin' fabulous stamp set by Alpaca pals. I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and then cut it out.

On a white card base, I adhered pink striped paper from the Pattern paper pad - Shades of pink from Studio light, after die-cutting it with the Hand drawn squares with small stitches (D231074) from Gummiapan. I die-cut the Note page from Mama elephant out of white cardstock, and attached the image to the memo sheet using foam tape. From black cardstock, I die-cut the text using the Thin alphabet (D190603) from Gummiapan and adhered it to the memo sheet as well. I then attached the memo sheet to my card with foam tape, and made the top edge extra rough so it looks as if it has been torn from a notepad. Finally, I decorated the card with black hotfix gems.

Hallo, een paar weken geleden kwam ik op facebook de groep van Plum loved art tegen en ik was meteen verkocht na het zien van haar tekeningen. Ze verkoopt ze op etsy om zelf na te tekenen, maar je mag ze ook als een soort digitale stempel gebruiken. Ik vind het zelf erg leuk om na te tekenen en ik leer weer leuke technieken hierdoor, dus ik heb er veel plezier in. Elke maand wordt er ook een set met dagelijkse opdrachten verkocht en ik heb met de set voor de maand maart een cadeau tag gemaakt.

Ik heb de kersenbloesem nagetekend van de set  March Plum daily doodles van Plum loved art op Aquapad papier van Clairefontaine. Ik ben begonnen met het uittekenen van het rechthoek op mijn papier zodat ik kon zien hoe groot mijn takje kon worden en daarna heb ik met potlood een schets gemaakt. Ik heb de tekening daarna overgetrokken met Zwarte Unipin fineliners en daarna heb ik met dunnere fineliners accentjes op mijn tekening aangebracht. Ik heb daarna het takje gekleurd met Schmincke aquarelverf. Met de Medium tag (CR1710) van Marianne design heb ik het rechthoek en de tag uit het aquapad papier gestanst. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Handletter - Huwelijk (retired) van Craft emotions gestempeld en daarna heb ik nog een wit koordje aan de tag gehangen. 

Hello, a few weeks ago I came across the Plum Loved Art group on Facebook and I was immediately sold after seeing her drawings. She sells them on Etsy so you can redraw them yourself, but you can also use them as a kind of digital stamp. I personally really enjoy redrawing them and I learn fun new techniques this way, so I get a lot of enjoyment out of it. Each month a set with daily prompts is also released, and using the set for the month of March I made a gift tag.

I redrew the cherry blossom from the March Plum daily doodles by Plum loved art on Aquapad paper from Clairefontaine. I started by drawing out a rectangle on my paper so I could see how large my branch could be, and then I made a sketch in pencil. I then traced the drawing with Black Unipin fineliners, after which I added small accents to the drawing with thinner fineliners. I then coloured the branch with Schmincke watercolours. Using the Medium tag (CR1710) by Marianne design, I die-cut the rectangle and the tag from the Aquapad paper. I stamped a text from the Handletter – Huwelijk (retired) stamp set by Craft Emotions and then finished it off by attaching a white cord to the tag.

Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 169 van Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst en daar heb ik de afbeelding op geplakt met foamtape. Onder de bloem heb ik een tekst van de set Gefeliciteerd variaties stempels (CDST-00158) van Carlijn design gestempeld. Ik heb uit paars design papier van het Polka-dot parade paper pack van Sunny studio stamps één van de Tag toppers van Gummiapan gestanst en deze heb ik boven aan het rechthoek geplakt. Op een witte kaart heb ik ook het design papier van Sunny studio stamps geplakt en daarna heb ik het rechthoek met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

From purple patterned paper in the Polka-dot parade paper pack from Sunny studio stamps, I die-cut one of the Tag toppers from Gummiapan and adhered it to the top of the rectangle. I also adhered the Sunny Studio Stamps patterned paper to a white card base, and then attached the rectangle with the image to the card using foam tape.

Hallo, vandaag post ik een verjaardagskaart die ik al een tijd geleden heb gemaakt voor een lieve vriendin. Op mijn kaartje heb ik de digitale stempel Birthday mouse van Amanda Jayne designs gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en de Witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt.

Ik heb een kaart van wit karton gemaakt. Op de voorkant van de kaart heb ik een extra laag wit karton gebruikt. Uit deze laag heb ik met de Congratulations die set van A pocket full of happiness de tekst gestanst. Ik heb de tekst ook uit zwart karton gestanst en daarna de zwarte letters weer terug geplakt in de gaten van de witte letters. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van het witte karton getekend. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 173 van Crealies heb ik een postzegel rand gestanst uit zwart karton en deze heb ik achter het witte karton geplakt. Op mijn kaart heb ik streepjespapier van het Spring sunburst paper pad van Sunny studio stamps geplakt en daarna heb ik het witte karton met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart versierd met kleine zwarte hotfix steentjes. 

Hello, today I’m sharing a birthday card that I made some time ago for a dear friend. On my card I used the digital stamp Birthday mouse by Amanda Jayne designs. I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura and the White Uni Posca pen. I then cut out the image.

I made a card from white cardstock. On the front of the card I added an extra layer of white cardstock. From this layer I die-cut the sentiment using the Congratulations die set by A pocket full of happiness. I also die-cut the sentiment from black cardstock and then inlaid the black letters back into the openings of the white letters. Using a black fineliner, I drew a line around the edges of the white cardstock. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 173 by Crealies, I die-cut a postage stamp edge from black cardstock and adhered this behind the white cardstock. I added striped paper from the Spring sunburst paper pad from Sunny studio stamps, then mounted the white cardstock onto the card using foam tape. I finished the card by embellishing it with small black hotfix gems.

Ik heb de binnenkant van de kaart ook versierd en daarvoor heb ik de digitale stempel Balloon mouse van Amanda Jayne designs gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 173 van Crealies heb ik een postzegel rand aan een stuk zwart karton gestanst en dat heb ik in de kaart geplakt. Boven op het zwarte papier heb ik streepjespapier van het Spring sunburst paper pad van Sunny studio stamps geplakt en daarna heb ik de muis in de kaart geplakt.

I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura and a White Uni Posca pen, then cut out the image. Using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 173 by Crealies, I die-cut a postage stamp edge from a piece of black cardstock and adhered this inside the card. On top of the black cardstock, I added striped paper from the Spring sunburst paper pad from Sunny studio stamps, and then glued the mouse inside the card.

Hallo, vandaag begint weer de eerste challenge van het jaar op het  As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lili of the valley. Deze keer willen we graag weten voor welke gelegenheid je het liefste kaarten of andere projecten maakt. Ik vind het erg leuk om verjaardags projecten te maken. Door een zelfgemaakte kaart of een klein zelfgemaakt cadeautje kan je een verjaardag extra speciaal maken en dat vind ik erg leuk om te doen.

Voor de challenge van vandaag heb ik een doosje gemaakt waar een reep chocolade in kan. Op het doosje heb ik de digitale stempel Elephant flowers van Lili of the valley gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Slimline C met ruwe randen (CLCZ183) (retired) from Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst die perfect op mijn doosje past. Op het karton heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things (out of business) en Versafine clair Bali blue inkt een wolken achtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op het rechthoek geplakt.

Hello, today the first challenge of the year starts again on the As you like it challenge blog, and this time we are sponsored by Lili of the valley. For this challenge, we would like to know for which occasion you most enjoy making cards or other projects. I really enjoy making birthday projects. With a handmade card or a small handmade gift, you can make a birthday extra special, and I love doing that.

For today’s challenge, I made a little box that can hold a bar of chocolate. On the box, I used the digital stamp Elephant flowers from Lili of the valley. I coloured the image using my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen, and then fussy cut the image.

Using the Slimline C met ruwe randen (CLCZ183) (retired) from Crealies, I die-cut a rectangle from white card that fits perfectly on my box. On the card, I created a cloud background using the Mini Cloud Edges stencil (retired) from My Favorite Things (out of business) and Versafine clair Bali blue ink. I then adhered the image to the rectangle using foam tape.

De tekst heb ik met de Birthday wishes die-namics (retired) van My favorite things (out of business) uit oranje karton gestanst en die heb ik naast de afbeelding op het doosje geplakt.

The sentiment was die-cut from orange card using the Birthday Wishes Die-namics (retired) from My Favorite Things (out of business), and I adhered it next to the image on the box.

Ik heb het doosje gevuld met een lekker reep chocolade.

Hallo, vandaag laat ik een verjaardags tag zien die ik heb gemaakt. Ik heb de tag versierd met de digitale stempel Summer mouse van Amanda Jayne designs. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb de onderkant van de afbeelding uitgestanst met de grote tag van de set Labels XL & Labels XS (CR1383) van Marianne design. Ik heb deze zelfde set gebruikt om mijn tag uit wit karton te stansen. Op de tag heb ik een wolken achtergrond gemaakt met Peacock feathers Distress inkt en het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things (out of business). Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de tag geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de Have a mice day clear stamps (retired) van Lili of the valley op de tag gestempeld. In het hartje van de bloemen heb ik een kristallen hotfix steentje geplakt. 

Hello, today I’m sharing a birthday tag that I made. I decorated the tag with the digital stamp Summer mouse by Amanda Jayne designs. I coloured the image using my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen, and then I fussy cut the image.

I die-cut the bottom of the image using the large tag from the Labels XL & Labels XS (CR1383) from Marianne design. I used the same set to die-cut my tag from white card. On the tag, I created a cloudy background using Peacock feathers Distress ink and the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things (out of business).I adhered the image to the tag with foam tape. I stamped a sentiment from the Have a mice day clear stamps (retired) from Lili of the valley onto the tag. Finally, I added a crystal hotfix gem to the centres of the flowers.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lee Holland digis. Deze keer willen we graag weten wat je favoriete 2 kleuren combinatie is voor op kaarten. Ik vind roze en groen normaal gezien erg fijn om mee te werken, maar paars en groen zijn zeker een tweede favoriet. Aangezien ik de laatste tijd wat meer roze kaarten heb gemaakt, heb ik deze keer voor paars en groen gekozen. De kleuren passen gewoon mooi bij elkaar, zijn perfect voor mooie bloemen, maar voor een verjaardagskaart met een schattig diertje vind ik de combinatie ook erg leuk. 

Ik heb deze keer een verjaardagstag gemaakt die ik aan mijn verjaardagscadeau kan hangen. Ik heb hierop gewerkt met een digitale stempel van onze sponsor deze week. Ik heb de afbeelding Badger with presents van Lee Holland ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb de onderkant van de afbeelding gestanst met de Cardzz 194 Slimline labels with stitchlines (CLCZ194) van Crealies. Daarna heb ik deze tag nog een keer uit wot karton gestanst met de Cardzz 194 Slimline labels with stitchlines (CLCZ194) van Crealies. Op de witte tag heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things en Versafine clair arctic inkt een achtergrond gemaakt voor mijn afbeelding. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna met foamtape op de achtergrond geplakt. Met de Big labelzz & tagzz stansen 19 (CLbigLT19) (retired) van Crealies heb ik een grotere tag uit paars karton gestanst en hierop heb ik de witte tag met de afbeelding geplakt. Ik heb det tekst gefeliciteerd twee keer uit paars karton gestanst met de Gefeliciteerd tekst (LR0651) van Marianne design en nadat ik deze op elkaar heb geplakt, heb ik de tekst op de tag geplakt.

This time, we’d love to know what your favourite two-colour combination is for making cards. I usually really enjoy working with pink and green, but purple and green are definitely a close second favourite. Since I’ve made quite a few pink cards recently, I decided to go with purple and green this time. The colours just look beautiful together — perfect for lovely flowers, but I also think the combination works really well for a birthday card featuring a cute little animal.

This time, I’ve made a birthday tag that I can attach to my birthday gift. I used a digital stamp from our sponsor this week. The image, Badger with presents by Lee Holland, was coloured with my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen by Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen. I then cut out the image. I used the Cardzz 194 Slimline labels with stitchlines (CLCZ194) by Crealies to die-cut the bottom of the image. I then die-cut the tag again from purple cardstock using the same Crealies die set.

On the white tag, I created a background for the image using the Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) from My favorite things  and Versafine clair arctic ink. I attached the image to the background using foam tape. Then, using the Big labelzz & tagzz stansen 19 (CLbigLT19) (retired) from Crealies, I cut a larger tag from purple cardstock and glued the white tag with the image onto it.

I die-cut the word "Gefeliciteerd" (congratulations) twice from purple cardstock using the Gefeliciteerd tekst (LR0651) from Marianne design. After layering the words together, I adhered the sentiment to the tag.

As you like it challenge 310 - A sentiment or not

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze week worden we gesponsord door Rachelle Anne Miller. Deze keer willen we graag weten of je wel of niet een tekst op je kaart gebruikt. Op bijna al mijn kaarten gebruik ik een tekst. Het maakt de kaart helemaal af. Soms plaats ik hem niet meteen, maar pas later als ik weet voor welke gelegenheid ik een een kaart wil gebruiken. Ik vond het soms ook leuk om een tekst met een klein woordgrapje erin te gebruiken, zoals ik vandaag heb gedaan.

Voor deze challenge heb ik een kaart gemaakt met de digitale stempel Birthday bird van Rachelle Anne Miller. Het leek me leuk om weer eens in te kleuren met de no-line kleur techniek, dus ik heb de afbeelding met lichtgrijze lijnen gebruikt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden. Voor het neusje van de muis heb ik een zwart hotfix steentje gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 167 van Crealies. Ik heb nog 3 zwarte hotfix steentjes rondom de afbeelding geplakt. Op een witte kaart heb ik roze geruit design papier geplakt. Dit papier ligt al heel lang in de kast hier en er staat helaas geen merk op. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

This time, we’d love to know whether or not you use a sentiment on your card. I use a sentiment on almost all of my cards—it really completes the design. Sometimes I don’t add it straight away, but wait until I know what occasion I’ll be using the card for. I also enjoy using a sentiment with a little pun or wordplay in it, like I’ve done today.

For this challenge, I’ve made a card using the digital stamp Birthday bird from Rachelle Anne Miller. I thought it would be fun to colour it using the no-line colouring technique again, so I printed the image in light grey lines and then coloured it with my Polychromos pencils. For the mouse’s nose, I used a black hotfix gem. I die-cut the image using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 167 from Crealies. I added three more black hotfix gems around the image. On a white card base, I adhered some pink gingham design paper. This paper has been in my stash for quite a while and unfortunately doesn’t have a brand name on it. I attached the image to the card using foam tape.
