Spaarpot

Deze spaarpot heb ik vorige week bij de Action gekocht. Ik gooi namelijk iedere week al het muntgeld uit mijn portomonnee in mijn spaarpot. Tot nu gebruikte ik altijd een lege pot van Oxi Vanish, maar ik wilde eigenlijk wel een andere. Toen ik deze spaarpot bij de Action zag bedacht ik me dat het misschien wel een leuk idee was om er eentje te versieren met stempeltjes en leuk papier. Dus dat heb ik afgelopen week gedaan. Ik heb de pot bekleed met rood papier van papicolor. Daaroverheen zit een strip wit papier. Langs de randen heb ik een schulprandje geknipt met een figuurschaar.

I bought this money bank in a dutch store last week. At the end of the week I always throw all the coins out of my wallet. Untill now I was using an empty pot from Oxy vanish, but I wanted another one. When I saw this one, I decided that I was going to decorate it stamps and papers. So that's what I did last week. I started with putting red paper around the money bank. I cut a strip of white paper and gave it a scalloped edge with decorative scissors.


Op de strip papier heb ik gestempeld met een aardbeien stempel die ik een tijdje geleden in een speelgoed winkel heb gekocht. De zwarte stipjes zijn ook gestempeld en komen uit een stempelsetje van mix and match. De aardbeien zijn gekleurd met derwent potloden.

On the strip of paper I stamped with a strawberry stamp that I bought a while ago at a toystore. The black dots were also stamped with a stamp from a stamp set from Mix and match. The strawberries were coloured with derwent pencils.

Daarna heb ik 3 magnolia's gekozen die op de spaarpot moesten komen. De eerste is een wat oudere en de laatste twee (en de grote aardbei) komen uit de zomerkit van Magnolia. Ik heb ze allemaal gekleurd met derwent potloden. De oogjes zijn gekleurd met een zwart glaze pen en de stipjes op de wangen zijn gezet met een witte souffle pen. Na het kleuren heb ik ze allemaal uitgeknipt en op de spaarpot geplakt.

Then I did choose all the magolia's that I wanted to be on the money bank. The first one is a bit older and the last two (and the big strawberry) are from the summer collection. Ik coloured them all with derwent pencils. The eyes were coloured with a black glaze pen and I used a white souffle pen for the dots on the cheeks. After I was done with the colouring I cut them all out and glued them on the money bank.

Just magnolia

Vandaag heb ik een kaartje gemaakt voor de Just magnolia challenge blog. Deze week moet je een leuke sketch van Mina volgen. Ik heb een magnoliaatje uit de springkit gebruikt voor mijn kaart. Tilda is ingekleurd met derwent potloden en daarna uitgesneden met ovalen nestabilities. Op een witte kaart heb ik zelf de achtergrond gemaakt met een bloemenstempeltje van Mix & match. De bloemetjes zijn ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Het stukje rose linnen papier is geëmbost met de swiss dots embossingfolder van cuttlebug. De tekst is gestempeld en is een Nederlandse Stamping bella tekst (die kun je bestellen via de email bij cardart). De zwarte bloemetjes zijn gemaakt met een ponsje.

Today I made a card for the Just magnolia challenge. This week you have to use the lovely sketch from Mina. I used a magnolia stamp from the springkit for my card. Tilda was colored with derwent pencils and after the coloring I cut her out with the oval nestabilities. I made the background paper myself on a white card. I used a little flower stamp from Mix & match and I colored the flowers with derwent pencils. The piece of pink linen paper was embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. The sentiment (congratulations) was stamped and it is a dutch Stamping Bella stamp. The black flowers are made with punches.

Just Magnolia 11 - Sketch

Vandaag heb ik een kaartje gemaakt voor de challenge van Just Magnolia. Ik heb gekozen voor de stempel van Tilda met haar kersen jurkje. Ik heb Tilda gekleurd met derwent potloden. Haar oogjes heb ik gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Na het kleuren heb ik Tilda uitgeknipt. Uit rood bazzil papier heb ik een kaart gesneden. Op een stukje wit papier heb ik met een kersen stempel en een stipjes stempel de achtergrond gemaakt. Ook deze kersjes zijn ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Het rode randje is geponst met een pons van Martha Stewart. Er overheen zit een wit satijnen lintje met een strikje. De cirkels zijn uitgesneden met nestabilities. De tekst is gestempeld met de Everyday greetings set van Elzybells.

Her eyes were colored with a black glaze pen. Then I have cut her out. I made my card from red Bazzil paper. On a piece of white paper I made the background with a cherry stamp and the dots stamp. I colored the cherries with my derwent pencils. The red strip of paper was punched with a punch from Martha Stewart and then I added a white satin ribbon. The circles were cut with nestabilities. The sentiment is from the clear stamp set Everyday greetings from Elzybells.

House Mouse: Mothers

Nadat ik vorige week een keer had meegedaan aan de house mouse challenge, heb ik van twee hele vriendelijke mensen nog meer stempelafdrukjes van House mouse gekregen. Vandaag kreeg ik een pakket met heel veel afdrukjes van Ann. Ik heb meteen een klein kaartje gemaakt voor de house mouse challenge van deze week. Het thema is daar moeders, omdat het in Groot-Brittanië bijna moederdag is. Aangezien in het nederland pas in mei moederdag is, heb ik nog geen moederdagkaartje gemaakt. Ik heb gewoon een lief kaartje gemaakt voor haar. Mijn kaartje is opengeslagen net zo groot als een atc en die heb ik dubbelgevouwen. Als afbeelding heb ik dit hele lieve kleine muisje gebruikt. Ik heb het muisje ingekleurd met derwent potloden en daarna heb ik het uitgesneden met de cirkel nestabilities. Er zit nog een zwarte cirkel onder. Op het kaartje zelf ik kleine bloemetjes gestempeld die uit een mix en match stempelsetje komen. Ik heb de bloemetjes gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. De tekst is op het kaartje geprint. Ik heb een smal satijnen lintje gebruikt om het kaartje af te maken.

After I entered a card in the house mouse challenge last week, two very kind people promised me some stamped images of house mouse. Today I got a lot of images from the lovely Ann. I immediately made a card for this weeks house mouse challenge. The theme is Mothers, because it is almost mothersday in Great Brittain. But in the Netherlands mothersday is in may, so I didn't make a mothersdaycard. I just made a her a sweet card. When you fold this card open it has the same size as an atc. As my iamge I used this little sweet mouse. I colored it with derwent pencils and then I cut it out with circle nestabilities. I added an extra black scalloped circle. On the card I stamped the little flowers with a stamp from a mix and match stamp set. I colored the flowers with a clear spica glitter pen. The sentiment was printed on the card. I used a small blak satin ribbon to finish the card.

Bloemen

Op de blog van Julie zag ik deze mooie kaart staan en zoiets wilde ik ook proberen te maken. Voor mijn kaartje heb ik een ministempeltje uit een mix en match setje gebruikt. Mijn stempeltje komt uit het setje Floral wreath. Ik heb eerst een paar gestempeld met lichtpaarse inkt en later ben ik er overheen gegaan met donkere paarse inkt. De stengel van de bloem heb ik getekend met een copic marker. Met een eyelettool heb ik naast de stengel van de grootste bloem twee gaatjes gemaakt en daar heb ik een paars satijnen lintje doorheen gedaan. Aan het lintje hangt een tagje van cuttlebug waar ik de tekst op heb geprint. Langs de randen van de kaart ben ik nog met de donkerpaarse inkt gegaan en dit heb ik ook gedaan langs de randen van het tagje.

I saw this wonderful card on the blog of Julie and I wanted to try something like that myself. For my card I used a stamp from a mix and match stamp set. My stamp is from the set Floral wreath. I started stamped with a light purple and then I stamped a few times on top of it with a darker purple ink. I have drawn the stem of the flower with a green copic marker. With an eyelettool I made two holes next to the stem and I added a purple satin ribbon. I made a little tag (from cuttlebug) and I printed the sentiment (congratulations) on it. I used the dark ink along the edges of the card and the tag.
