Hallo, ik heb weer eens een nieuwe workshop gevolgd op Skillshare. Deze keer was het de workshop van Angèle Kamp Let's paint a simple pink watercolor flower op Skillshare.

Ik heb de schets overgetrokken in mijn Watercolour book 100% cotton 14x14 cm van Hahnemühle. De bloem van de tutorial is in het roze geschilderd, maar ik had een tijdje geleden een nieuwe kleur oranje aquarelverf van Daniel Smith gekocht en daar heb ik deze tutorial mee gedaan. Ik vind hem erg leuk geworden. 

Hello, I have followed a new tutorial on Skillshare. This time I followed a class from Angèle Kamp. I have done the Let's paint a simple pink watercolor flower on Skillshare.

I have traced the sketch in my Watercolour book 100% cotton 14x14 cm from Hahnemühle. In the class you are painting a pink flower, but a few weeks ago I bought a new orange watercolour from Daniel Smith and I really wanted to do the flower with that one. Love the result.

Whimsy stamps - Happy birthday Denise

Hallo, vandaag post ik een speciaal kaartje voor Whimsy stamps. Vandaag is namelijk de verjaardag van de eigenaresse van Whimsy stamps: Denise. Ik heb de bloemenafbeelding van de set Bees knees (clear stamp) van Whimsy stamps met Fadeout no line colouring detail ink from Inkon3 op aquarelpapier gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met Daniel Smith aquarelverf. Ik heb de afbeelding met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 van Crealies uitgestanst en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de set Simple sentiment strips (CWSD354) van Whimsy stamps naast de afbeelding gestempeld. Daarna heb ik de kaart versierd met witte mini parels.

I have stamped the pretty flower image from the set Bees knees (clear stamp) from Whimsy stamps with Fadeout no line colouring detail ink from Inkon3 on watercolour paper. I have coloured the image with Daniel Smith watercolours, I have cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 from Crealies and glued it on a card that I have made from same watercolour paper. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Simple sentiment strips (CWSD354) from Whimsy stamps on the card. The card is decorated with white mini pearls. 

I want to enter this card in the following challenges:

Hallo, in november heb ik meegedaan aan de 30-dagen challenge van Paperfuel en op dag 27 tekenden we een hyper egeltje. Ik vond die tekening best goed gelukt, dus ik wilde er graag nog een kerstversie van maken voor in mijn Watercolour book A5 portret van Hahnemühle. Ik heb mijn egeltje dus deze keer een candy cane gegeven. Ik heb nadat ik de schets met potlood in mijn boekje had gemaakt de tekening overgetrokken met een zwarte fineliner. Ik heb de afbeelding gekleurd met Daniel Smith aquarelverf. 

Hello, in november I participated in the 30-day challenge from Paperfuel and on day 27 we were drawing a hyper hedgehog. I was pretty satisfied with my drawing, so I wanted to make a Christmas version. This time my hedgehog is holding a candy cane. After I finished my sketch with pencil in my Watercolour book A5 portret from Hahnemühle, I traced the image with a black fineliner. I have coloured my drawing with Daniel Smith watercolours.

An advent calendar for my mother - Day 12

Hallo, dit is de tweede post van vandaag met een project voor de advents kalender (klik op het linkje voor alle posts) voor mijn moeder. Deze keer is het een simpele tag voor aan een cadeautje geworden. 

Ik heb uit aquarelpapier een cirkel gestanst met de Boho scallop circles die set van Whimsy stamps. Op de cirkel heb ik afbeeldingen van de set Snowball family (Clear stamps) van Whimsy stamps gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeeldingen gekleurd met Daniel Smith watercolours. Ik heb een gaatje in de bovenkant van de cirkel gestanst om er een tag van te maken en daarna heb ik een strikje van jute touw toegevoegd.

Hello, this is my second post for today with another project for the advent calendar (click on the link for all posts) for my mother. This time it is a simple tag for on a present.

I have cut a circle from watercolour paper with the Boho scallop circles die set from Whimsy stamps. On the circle I have stamped a couple of images from the set Snowball family (Clear stamps) from Whimsy stamps. I have coloured the image with Daniel Smith watercolours. With a punch I added a hole in the top of the tag. I used jute thread to glue it on my present.

Hallo, ik heb een tijdje geleden een deel van een cursus op Skillshare gevolgd. Het waren lessen van Bianca Rayala. Ik heb van de cursus Four easy wonderland Christmas cards in watercolour de wonderland snowman gemaakt. Ik heb de schets gemaakt in mijn Watercolour book A5 portret van Hahnemühle en daarna heb ik de afbeelding gekleurd met Daniel Smith watercolours. Ik vond het een leuke tutorial om te volgen door de losse schilderstijl die gebruikt wordt. Ik heb geprobeerd om zelf ook redelijk los te werken, maar blijf het moeilijk vinden.

Hello, a while ago I have followed part of a class on Skillshare. I have followed a lesson from Bianca Rayala. From the class Four easy wonderland Christmas cards in watercolour I have made the wonderland snowman. I have made the sketch in the Watercolour book A5 portret from Hahnemühle and then I used Daniel Smith watercolours to colour the snowman. I thought it was a fun class because of the loose style of painting. I did try to do the loose painting myself, but I still think it rather difficult.

Julia Henze - Four Christmas cards with gouache

 

Goedemorgen, afgelopen week was ik lekker op vakantie in Limburg samen met mijn moeder. Helaas moesten we een dag eerder naar huis terug, want we werden beide ziek daar. Mijn moeder heeft helaas corona en ik ben snipverkouden (tot nu toe). 

Ik zag op instagram dat Julia Henze die week 4 live workshops zou geven voor kerstkaarten met gouache. Ik had alleen een klein doosje aquarelverf mee, dus kon ik niet meedoen aan alle workshops, want daarvoor had ik een dekkende wit verf nodig, die ik niet bij me had. De tutorial van de krans met de belletjes kon ik gelukkig wel alvast doen met aquarelverf, dus dat heb ik gedaan. Ik ga de workshops later proberen in te halen met gouache, want ze zien er super gaaf uit! Tegen een kleine betaling kan je zelf ook deze Four Christmas cards with gouache tutorials volgen. 

Ik heb mijn schets gemaakt op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano en daarna heb ik Daniel Smith aquarelverf gebruikt om de afbeelding te kleuren. Dit was erg leuk om te doen. Later zullen de gouache tekeningen hopelijk volgen. 

Goodmorning, last week I have been on a little holiday with my mother in Limburg, in the south of the Netherlands. Unfortunately we had to go home a day earlier, because we both got sick. My mom has the corona virus and I have a really bad cold (for now). 

I was browsing on instagram and I found out that Julia Henze was giving 4 live workshops that week. I only had a little box of watercolours, so I couldn't participate because they were done with gouache and I didn't have the opaque white. I was able to do the the tutorial from the wreath with the bells, so I did that one last week. I will follow and do the other workshops later, because I love how they look. They are for a small amount for sale at Four Christmas cards with gouache.

I have made my sketch on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano and then I used Daniel Smith watercolours to colour my image. I really enjoyed myself. I do hope I can post my gouache paintings soon.
