Gerda Steiner designs - It's the most wonderful time of the year

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer een nieuw projectje op het blog van Gerda Steiner designs. Deze keer heb ik weer een kaartje gemaakt voor mijn Memory dex. Het is een kaartje in kerstsfeer geworden om alvast in de kerststemming te komen. ;) 

Op mijn kaartje heb ik 2 afbeeldingen van de digitale stempelset Fa-la-la-llamas van Gerda Steiner designs gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. 

Met de Stencil SL120 van Studio light heb ik mijn memory dex kaartje uit zwart karton gestanst. Ik heb dezelfde dies gebruikt om de onderkant van het kaartje uit te stansen uit rood-wit gestipt papier van het Candy land paper pack (retired) van My favorite things. Ik heb wit borduurgaren rondom het rood-witte papier gebonden en het daarna met foamtape op het zwarte kaartje geplakt. Ik heb een tekst en sneeuwsterren van de stempelset Seasons tweetings (retired) van Winnie & Walter met Versamark inkt op het kaartje gestempeld en daarna heb ik alles geëmbost met witte embossingpoeder. Ik heb de afbeeldingen daarna op het kaartje geplakt. Ik heb met een witte gelpen een kader langs de randen van het kaartje getekend. 

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new project on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I have made a card for my Memory dex. It is a card in christmas style, because christmas is approaching fast. ;) 

On my card I have used 2 images from the digital stampset Fa-la-la-llamas from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the images.

With the Stencil SL120 from Studio light I have die-cut my memory dex card from black cardstock. The bottom part from the red and white patterned paper from the Candy land paper pack (retired) from My favorite things is cut with the same dies. I have tied white embroidery thread around it and then I glued it with foamtape on the black card. I have stamped a sentiment and the snowflakes from the stampset Seasons tweetings (retired) from Winnie & Walter with Versamark ink on the card and then I embossed the image with white embossingpowder. Then I glued the images on the card. I doodled a line around the edge of the card with a black fineliner.

Goedemorgen, ik was wat bestanden op mijn computer aan het organiseren en toen kwam ik foto's van dit kaartje tegen en volgens mij heb ik die nog nooit eerder op mijn blog gepost. Nu meer dan 2 jaar later is het dan eindelijk zover. ;)
Op het kaartje heb ik de digitale stempel Penguin - Thinking of you van Whimsy stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 42 van Crealies heb ik een vierkant uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb het vierkant gekleurd met Tumbled glass en Broken china Disstres inkt. Daarna heb ik de Circle scribbles van My favorite things (retired) met versamark inkt op de achtergrond gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met witte embossingpoeder. Daarna heb ik ook nog een sterretjes van de set Happy dance van Winnie and Walter op de achtergrond gestempeld en ook deze is geëmbost. Ik heb de tekst uit wit karton gestanst met de Simply said Hugs Elle-ments van Avery elle en die heb ik op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, I was organising some files on my computer, when I found these pictures of a card that has never been posted on my blog. After moren than 2 years, I am finally posting it now. ;)
On the card I have used the digital stamp Penguin - Thinking of you from Whimsy stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. Then I have fussy cut the image. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 42 from Crealies I have diecut a square from white cardstock. I coloured it with Tumbled glass and Broken china Disstres ink. Then I stamped the Circle scribbles from My favorite things (retired) on it with versamark ink on it and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I also stamped a couple of stars from the set Happy dance from Winnie and Walter on it with versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. The sentiment is diecut from white cardstock with the Simply said Hugs Elle-ments from Avery elle and I glued it on the card.

Goodmorning, this is day 5 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Goedemorgen, vandaag ben ik guestdesigner op het blog Through the craftroom door. Een tijdje geleden was ik de winnaar van hun challenge en nu mocht ik deze keer als gast meedoen met de challenge. :) Zoals altijd is de challenge Anything goes.

Het design team heeft gewerkt met de silhouette stempels van The Charming silhouette stamp set van Gecko galz. Ik heb hieruit de afbeelding S04 gekozen. Ik heb de afbeelding op aquarelpapier geprint met de laser printer. Na het printen heb ik een achtergrond gemaakt met Tumbled glass, Peacock feathers and Wilted violet Distress oxide ink. Ik zag ongeveer deze kleuren langs komen in een live-uitzending op facebook en die wilde ik ook graag gebruiken op dit kaartje. Ik was nog niet helemaal tevreden met de hoe de kleuren er precies uitzagen en daarom heb ik over de Distress oxide inkt de achtergrond gekleurd met Tumbled glass, Peacock feathers and Wilted violet Distress ink. Hierdoor werden de kleuren nog iets feller. Met een vochtige doekje heb ik de afbeelding daarna schoon geveegd. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna gedroogd met de heattool en hierdoor ging de geprinte afbeelding erg mooi glinsteren. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 van Crealies. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna op zwart papier geplakt. Vervolgens heb ik een tekst van de set Sentimental: Birthday WW090 van Winnie and Walter met zwarte inkt op het rechthoek gestempeld. Ik heb de tekst daarna geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna op een witte kaart geplakt. Als laatste heb ik de kaart versierd met mini zilveren hotfix sterretjes.

Goodmorning, today I am guestdesigning at the Through the craftroom door blog. A few weeks ago I was a challenge winner and they invited me to be a guest today. :) The challenge is as always Anything goes. 

The design team has worked with silhouette stamps from The Charming silhouette stamp set from Gecko galz. I have picked the image S04 from this set. I have printed the image with a laserprinter on watercolour cardstock. After the printing I made a background for the image with Tumbled glass, Peacock feathers and Wilted violet Distress oxide ink. I saw this colour combination in a live-show on facebook and loved it, so I had to use them on this card. I wasn't really satisfied with how the background turned out, so I went over the background again, but this time with the normal Distress inks. Again I used the same colours: Tumbled glass, Peacock feathers and Wilted violet Distress ink. This made the colours look a bit more bright I went over the image with a wet towel and then I dried the background with a heattool. That made the laser printed image shine even more! Then I have die-cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 from Crealies. I glued it then on black cardstock. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Sentimental: Birthday WW090 from Winnie and Walter on the image with black ink. Then I embossed the image with clear embossingpowder. I have glued the image on a white card. Then I decorated the card with tiny silver hotfix stars.

Goodmorning, this is day 4 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag heb ik een kerstkaartje gemaakt met de stempelset Seasons's tweetings van Winnie & Walter. Ik heb op een klein wit kaartje van 10 bij 10 cm een aantal afbeelding en een tekst van deze set gestempeld. Door maskerpapier te gebruiken, is het een one-layer kaartje geworden. Hoewel het geen aquarel papier is, heb ik toch besloten om mijn kaartje in te kleuren met mijn Derwent aquatone potloden (discontinued) en dat ging eigenlijk verrassend goed. Om nog wat extra diepte aan te brengen, heb ik nog wat extra accenten aangebracht met mijn Polychromos potloden. Ik heb de ogen van de pinguïn gekleurd met de zwarte glaze pen. Een kerstkaart zonder glitter kan natuurlijk niet, dus ik heb delen van de afbeelding gekleurd met de Spectrum noir sparkle clear pen. Als laatste heb ik op de boom nog wat Glitter accents - Fresh snowfall van Nuvo aangebracht.

Today I made a christmas card with the stampset Seasons's tweetings from Winnie & Walter. On a tiny card (10 by 10 cm) I stamped a couple of images and a sentiment from this set. Because I used masking paper, I could make a one-layer card. Although it isn't watercolour cardstock I have decided to colour the images with my Derwent aquatone pencil(discontinued) and it went very well. To add a little bit of depth on the images I decided to colour parts of the images with my Polychromos pencils. I have coloured the eyes of the penguin with the black glaze pen. I think every cards needs some sparkle, so I also coloured on my card with the Spectrum noir sparkle clear pen. I also have added Glitter accents - Fresh snowfall from Nuvo on the tree.

A birthday card for a sweet friend

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een kaart die ik heb gemaakt voor de verjaardag van een lieve blogvriendin. Het is een grote kaart geworden, want ik wilde binnenin een vakje maken met één van haar cadeautjes. Ik heb dan ook een a4 dubbel gevouwen en daar mijn kaart van gemaakt.
De kaart is versierd met stempels van de set Happy dance van Winnie & Walter. Ik heb een aantal afbeeldingen gestempeld en deze vervolgens ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik ze uitgeknipt. Op de kaart heb ik een strip rood-wit stipjespapier van een Paperpad van Action geplakt en daarna heb ik nog een stuk wit karton met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb van wit karton een grasrand gestanst met de Grassy fields die-namics van My favorite things en die heb ik gekleurd met Mowed lawn distress inkt. Op het witte karton heb ik een wolkenlucht gemaakt met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt. Ik heb vervolgens alle afbeeldingen met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. De tekst komt ook uit de stempelset Happy dance van Winnie & Walter. Aangezien het een verjaardagskaart is, kan de glitter natuurlijk niet ontbreken, dus ik heb sommige delen van de afbeeldingen gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a card that I made for the birthday from a very sweet blogging friend. It is a pretty big card, because I wanted to make a pocket on the inside of the card for one of my presents. I folded a a4 sheet in half and that is my card. 
The card is decorated with stamps from the set Happy dance from Winnie & Walter. I have stamped a couple of images and then I coloured them with my Polychromos pencils and a black glaze pen. I have fussy cut all the images. On the card I adhered a strip of red and white dotted design paper from a Paperpad from Action. Then I glued another layer of white cardstock with foamtape on the card. From white cardstock I have die-cu a grass border with the Grassy fields die-namics from My favorite things and then I coloured it with Mowed lawn distress inkt. On the white cardstock I made a cloudy sky with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress inkt. I glued all the images with foamtape on my card. The sentiment is also from the set Happy dance from Winnie & Walter. Since it is a birthday card, it has to have a little flitter on it, so I coloured parts of the images with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen.

De binnenkant van de kaart heb ik ook nog versierd. Op de linkerkant heb ik een beertje van de set Happy dance van Winnie & Walter geplakt. Deze had ik als laatste nog over en dat leek me een leuke plek voor hem. Rechts heb ik een vak gemaakt voor mijn cadeau. Hierop heb ik nog meer afbeeldingen uit dezelfde stempelset op geplakt. Ook hier heb ik met de Grassy fields die-namics van My favorite things en Mowed lawn distress inkt een grasrandje gemaakt. En op het vak heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een achtergrond gemaakt. Ook hier heb ik weer gedeeltes van de afbeeldingen gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen.

The inside of the card is also decorated. On the left side I glued a little bear from the set Happy dance from Winnie & Walter. It was my last image that I had left and I think there is a nice spot for him. On the right side I made a pocket for my present. I decorated the pocket with some more stamped images from the same set. Again I made a grass border with the Grassy fields die-namics from My favorite things and Mowed lawn distress inkt. On the pocket I made a cloudy sky with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress inkt. On the inside I also had to colour parts of the images with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen.

Goedemorgen, er begint weer een nieuwe challenge op het In the pink challenge blog. Onze challenge deze keer is om een verjaardagskaartje te maken. We worden deze keer gesponsord door the Digistamp boutique. De winnaar van de challenge krijgt een voucher voor the Digistamp boutique.

Ik heb een heel eenvoudig kaartje gemaakt met de stempelset The big, the bold and party van Winnie & Walter. Ik heb de tekst op de voorkaart van een wenskaart van Kars gestempeld met Versafine onyx black inkt en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met Clear embossingpoeder van Ranger. Ik heb met stansjes van de Bunch of flowers 2 van Elizabeth craft designs een aantal roze bloemtjes gestanst uit roze design papier van het Watercolor wash brights paper pack van My favorite things. Ik heb deze met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Met de die Lit-267 van Kreaxions heb ik een aantal takjes gestanst uit groen karton en deze heb ik onder de bloemen geplakt. Ik heb midden op de bloemen kristallen hotfix steentjes geplakt. Op de kaart zelf heb ik ook nog wat hotfix steentjes geplakt.

I made a clean and simple card with a sentiment from the set The big, the bold and party from Winnie & Walter. I stamped the sentiment on a card from Kars with Versafine onyx black ink and then I embossed it with Clear embossingpowder from Ranger. With the sflower dies from the Bunch of flowers 2 from Elizabeth craft designs I have die-cut a couple of flowers from pink design paper from the Watercolor wash brights paper pack from My favorite things. I adhered the flowers with foamtape on the card. With the Lit-267 die from Kreaxions I cut a couple of leaves from green cardstock and I adhered those under the flowers. I decorated the flowers with crystal hotfix gems and I adhered a couple of hotfix gems on the card. 

Ik heb de binnenkant versierd met een bloemetje en wat takjes die ik nog over had.

I decorated the inside of the card with a flower and a couple of leaves that I still had left over.
