Baby carrouselkaart Eline Pellinkhof

Goedemorgen allemaal! Dit is dan de tweede carrouselkaart (zie de tutorial) die deze maand in de Hobbyjournaal 61 wordt gepubliceerd. Deze tweede kaart is een babykaart geworden. Eline Pellinkhof heeft net weer een aantal sets met nieuwe stempels uit, en één set heeft ook heel veel accesoires. Echt perfect voor een carrousselkaart dus! Voor deze kaart heb ik alle afbeeldingen gekleurd met derwent potloden en alle oogjes van de babies zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen.

Goodmorning everyone! This is my second carrousel card (see the tutorial) that I made for a Dutch magazine. This time I made a babycard. Eline Pellinkhof just released a couple of new baby stamps. One of these sets also has a lot of accesories in it, so they are perfect for a carrousel card. I have coloured all the images with derwent pencils and the eyes are coloured with a black glaze pen.

Dit is de voorkant van de kaart geworden. Op deze kaart heb ik met allerlei designpapieren gewerkt die ik zelf geprint heb. Zo past alles perfect bij elkaar. Voor de kaft heb ik streepjes papier gebruikt. Met de cirkel nestabilities heb ik uit wit papier een kader gesneden en daar heb ik de zittende baby voor geplaatst. Met borduurgaren heb ik 3 versieringen aan het kader gemaakt. In de rechter bovenhoek heb ik twee witte hotfix steentjes geplaatst. De kaart sluit met een strik van wit lint.

This is the front of my card.I have used all kinds of design papers that I have printed myself on the whole card. So everything matches perfectly. On the front I have used a striped pattern. I have cut a frame with the circle nestabilities out of white paper and I have placed the sitting baby in front of it. I have used embroidery thread to make the embellishments on the circle. In the right corner I added 2 white hotfix stones. The card closes with a bow of white ribbon.



Op de eerste pagina heb ik voor een ruitjes patroon gekozen. De afbeeldingen zijn aan elkaar verbonden met een ringetje. Ik heb uit wit papier 4 randjes geponst met een randpons van EK Succes en deze op de zijpanelen geplakt.

On my first page I have chosen for another pattern. The images are attached to each other with a little ring. I have punched 4 edges with a EK succes border punch and attached these to the side panels.

Deze pagina heb ik aan de buitenkant wit gelaten en binnenin heb ik een ruitjes patroon gebruikt. Ik heb van rose streepjes papier 2 stripjes gesneden en deze op de zijpanelen geplakt. Daarop zijn een paar bloemetjes en vlinders geplakt die ik eerst gestempeld had.

I left this page white on the outside and on the inside I used a gingham pattern. I have cut 2 strips from the striped pattern and attached these to the side panels. On top of them I attached a couple of butterflies and flowers, that I stamped first.

Voor de derde pagina heb ik gekozen voor een stipjespatroon. Ik heb in de cirkel een vrij grote stempel gebruikt. Omdat dit niet ging passen heb ik slechts een gedeelte van de afbeelding gebruikt. Met stickerrandjes en stipjes heb ik de versieringen op de zijpanelen gemaakt.

On the 3th page I have chosen to use a dotted pattern. I used a rather large image in the circle, but because it wouldn't fit, I have chosen to use only part of the image. The side panels are deorated with peel off lines, dots and hearts.

Op de vierde pagina heb ik het voorblad weer wit gelaten en aan de binnenkant heb ik een stipjes patroon gebruikt. Ik heb met het Olivia alfabet van quickutz uit het streepjes papier de tekst gestanst en deze rondomde afbeelding opgeplakt.

The front of the 4th page is white again and on the inside I used a dotted patern. I have cut with the Olivia alphabet from quickutz the sentiment (hurray a sweet girl) and added these letters around the circle.

Op de laatste pagina heb ik een rose ruitjespatroon gebruikt. Rondom de cirkel heb ik een stickerrandje geplakt. Ik heb 10 bloemetjes gestempeld en deze op de zijpanelen geplakt. De hartjes van de bloemen hebben allemaal verschillende kleurtjes.

On the last page I used a pink gingham pattern. I have used a peel off to create the edge next to the circle. I have stamped 10 little flowers and places these on the side panels.

DU2DS 034- Pasen

Goedemorgen allemaal! Het is weer vrijdag en dat betekent dat het weer tijd is voor de nieuwste challenge van Dare U 2 Digi Stamp. Deze week is het de bedoeling om een paaskaart te maken. Deze kaart (en de babykaart die ik morgen laat zien) staat deze maand ook in de nieuwe HJ61. De kaart is eigenlijk een soort boekje en als je hem helemaal uitdraait lijkt het net een carrousel. Het voorbeeld voor de kaart zag ik staan op deze site en ik vond hem zo leuk dat ik mijn eigen versie ervan wilde maken. :)

Goodmorning everyone! It is friday again and that means that it is time for another challenge from Dare U 2 Digi Stamp. This time we want to see easter cards. This card (and another baby card that I will post tomorrow) is publiced in a Dutch craft magazine (hobbyjournaal) The card is actually a sort of book and when you open it, it looks like a carrousel. I saw an example on this site and I liked it so much that I wanted to make my own version.


Dit is de voorkant van de kaart. Voor de hele kaart heb ik gebruikt gemaakt van digitale stempels van CC. Designs. Ik heb twee verschillende sets gebruikt, namelijk Gingersnaps spring thing en Hunny bunny. Alle afbeeldingen zijn gekleurd met derwent potloden. Met een witte gelpen heb ik wat accentjes aangebracht. De oogjes van de konijntjes en het meisje heb ik nog eens extra gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Al het design papier dat ik heb gebruikt is van Doodlebug. Het is perfect voor een paaskaartje door de vrolijke kleurtjes. Op de voorkant heb ik een konijntje geplaatst. Ik heb 3 vierkantjes gesneden uit rose, groen en blauw papier en daarop heb ik een wit geponst bloemetje geplakt. De bloemetjes heb ik gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Voor de sluiting van de kaart heb ik een groen satijn lintje gebruikt.

This is the front of my card. For the whole card I have used digital stamps from CC. Designs. I used 2 different sets: Gingersnaps spring thing and Hunny bunny. All the images are coloured with derwent pencils. I added some accents with a white gelpen. The eyes of the bunnies and the girl are coloured with a black glaze pen. All the design paper that I used is from Doodlebug. It is perfect for an easter card with all those lovely spring colours. On the front of the card I have placed a little bunny. I have cut 3 squares out of pink, green and blue paper and on top of them I placed a punched white flower. The white flowers are coloured with a clear spica glitter pen. I used a satin green ribbon to close my card.

Op de eerste pagina heb ik een lief klein schaapje gebruikt. Ik heb hem eerst ingekleurd en daarna heb ik hem een vachtje van witte fun flock gegeven. Voelt heel lekker zacht aan! Met behulp van de silhouette heb ik uit groen papier een grasrandje gesneden en dit heb ik onder de afbeelding geplakt.

On the first page I used a cute little sheep. After I had coloured him, I gave him a nice fur with white fun flock. So soft! I have cut the grass with the help of the silhouette and I placed it under the image.

Op de tweede pagina heb ik de afbeelding van het meisje gebruikt. Na het kleuren heb ik haar uitgeknipt. Doordat haar oren ver uit elkaar staan was het moeilijk om de afbeelding goed op te hangen. Daarom heb ik een stukje mica achterop de afbeelding geplakt en daar een ringetje doorheen gedaan. Ook hier heb ik weer een grasrand onder de afbeelding langs geplakt. Ik heb een aantal eieren in 3 verschillende maten geprint. Ze waren allemaal kaal en daarom heb ik ze zelf maar versierd met behulp van een zwarte fineliner. Daarna heb ik ze tussen de grasrand geplakt zodat het net lijkt alsof ze verstopt zijn. Achter de afbeelding heb ik met blauwe chalk wat wolken op de kaart getekend.

On the second page I have used the image of the little girl. I have cut her out after I was done with colouring. Becuase the ears are to far from the middle of the image, I couldn't hang it up straight, so I have placed a little piece of mica behind the image and I used that piece to add the ring to hang the image in the circle. On this page I placed another grass strip. I have printed a couple of eggs in 3 different sizes. I decorated them with a black fineliner and then I placed them in the grass, so it looks like they are hidden in the grass. I have made a cloud background behind the image with blue chalk.

Op de derde pagina heb ik een cirkel met daarop de tekst in de cirkel gehangen. De tekst heb ik eerste geprint en daarna uitgesneden met de cirkel nestabilities. Omdat het nogal kaal was rondom de tekst heb ik op de cirkel met een zwarte fineliner kleine rondjes getekend en daarna heb ik deze ingekleurd met rose, gele, groene en blauwe fineliners.

On the 3th page I have placed a circle with a sentiment (Happy easter). I started with printing the sentiment and then I cut it out with my circle nestabilities. I coloured some little circles on the big circle with a black fineliner and then I coloured them with a pink, green, yellow and blue fineliner.

Voor deze pagina heb ik weer 3 eieren in 3 verschillende maten geprint. Ook deze eieren heb ik weer eerst versierd met een zwarte fineliner. Ik heb in alle eieren gaatjes gemaakt en daarna de eieren onder elkaar gehangen.

For this page I have printed 3 eggs in 3 different sizes. I decorated these eggs with a black fineliner. I have made holes in all the eggs and then I placed them under each other.

Op de laatste pagina heb ik weer een konijntje gebruikt. Ook hier heb ik weer een stukje mica achter de afbeelding geplakt, zodat de afbeelding weer beter opgehangen kan worden.

On the last page I used another bunny. Again I have used a piece of mica to place behind the image.

De kaart wordt gesloten met een strikje van groen satijn.

Ik heb een tutorial geschreven met heel veel foto's van hoe je deze kaart precies maakt. Het is best veel werk, maar wel heel leuk om te doen! Ik zal hem later vandaag ook op mijn blog plaatsen.

The card closes with a bow of green satin ribbon.

I have written a tutorial of how to make this card. It is a lot of work, but it is really nice to do! I will post it later today on my blog.
