Niek heeft zijn zwemdiploma C

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een kaartje dat ik heb gemaakt voor mijn neefje Niek. Hij heeft 2 weken geleden namelijk zijn zwemdiploma C gehaald en daar moest ik hem natuurlijk mee feliciteren. Niek is groot fan van superhelden en vooral Spiderman is erg cool. ;) En daarom kwam het dan ook heel goed uit, dat ik tijdens het opruimen op mijn computer deze gave digitale stempel van Whiff of joy tegen kwam. Whiff of joy bestaat helaas niet meer, maar gelukkig had ik deze digitale stempel nog wel.
Dit is Spider Henry van Whiff of joy (retired). Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een stuk wit karton heb ik een achtergrond voor mijn kaart gemaakt. Ik heb hiervoor de kleuren Mustard seed, Wild honey, Mermaid lagoon, Blueprint sketch en Chipped saphire Distress inkt gebruikt. Met witte acrylverf heb ik spatjes op de lucht gemaakt om het op sterren te laten lijken. Met de Silhouette cameo heb ik uit zwart karton 2 gebouwen van de Cityscape van Paige Evans gesneden en die heb ik op de achtergrond geplakt. Ik heb de achtergrond daarna op een kraft kaart geplakt. Ik heb daarna de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb daarna met witte en zwarte stickerletters mijn tekst op de gebouwen geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a card that I have made for my nephew Niek. Two weeks ago he did his swimming exam and now he has diploma C. I had to congratulate him with this, so I made him this card. Niek really loves superheroes and especially Spiderman is really cool. ;) So I was really happy when I found this digital stamp in my Whiff of joy files on my computer. Unfortunately Whiff of joy is no longer in business, but I am glad I still have some images from them. 
This is Spider Henry from Whiff of joy (retired). I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and then I have fussy cut the image. On a piece of white cardstock I have made a background for my card with Mustard seed, Wild honey, Mermaid lagoon, Blueprint sketch and Chipped saphire Distress ink. With white acrylic paint I have made paint splatters on the background to make it look like stars. I have cut 2 buildings from black cardstock with the Silhouette cameo. I used the Cityscape file from Paige evans. I ave glued the building on the card and then I glued the background on a kraft card. Then I glued the image with foamtape on the card. I have used white and black letter stickers to add the sentiment on the card.

Menno heeft zijn zwemdiploma B!

Goedemorgen, een paar weken geleden moest mijn neefje Menno afzwemmen voor zijn B-diploma en daar heb ik natuurlijk een kaartje voor gemaakt. Het is een hele grote kaart geworden, want ik heb namelijk een A4-tje dubbel gevouwen. De kaart is gemaakt van parelmoer papier, want als je daarop een Distress inkt achtergrond maakt, wordt dat supergaaf. Ik heb een onderwater scene gemaakt en het water is gemaakt met de kleuren Peacock feathers, Mermaid lagoon, Blueprint sketch en Chipped saphire Distress inkt. Ik heb hier met water op gespat. Ik heb de zeebodem zelf uit de losse hand geknipt en deze is gekleurd met Brushed corduroy, Vintage photo en Ground espresso Distress inkt. 

Goodmorning, a couple of weeks ago my nephew Menno got his swimming diploma B and I had to make him a card. It is a pretty large card, I have folded an A4 page in half. I have used pearlescent paper for my card, because ink blending looks amazing on it. It is an underwater scene and for the water I used Peacock feathers, Mermaid lagoon, Blueprint sketch and Chipped saphire Distress ink. I splattered some water on it. I did cut the seabed myself and coloured it with Brushed corduroy, Vintage photo and Ground espresso Distress ink. 

Voor de afbeeldingen heb ik de stempelset Soak up the fun van My favorite things gebruikt. Ik heb heel veel afbeeldingen gestempeld en ze daarna ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeeldingen daarna allemaal uitgestanst met de dies die bij de stempels passen. Ik heb de afbeeldingen daarna op de kaart geplakt.

For the images I have used the stampset Soak up the fun from My favorite things. I stamped a lot of images and then I coloured them all with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. Then I have diecut all the images with the matching dies for the stampset. I have glued all the images on the card.

Ik heb de letter B 3 keer uit wit karton gestanst met het Klassiskt alfabet D181202 van Gummiapan en die heb ik boven op elkaar geplakt. Ik heb de letter oranje gekleurd met de Finetec pearlescent colours. Ik heb een stukje wit borduur garen tussen de twee diertjes geplakt en daar de letter B op gehangen.

I have diecut the letter B three times from white cardstock with the Klassiskt alfabet D181202 from Gummiapan and glued those on top of each other. I made the letter orange with the Finetec pearlescent colours. I glued white embroidery thread beween the two animals and I glued the letter B on top of it. 

Kleine broer Niek heeft ook een kaartje gemaakt met dezelfde stempelset voor zijn broer. Hij heeft een doos-kaartje gemaakt. Hij heeft zelf de ink blending gedaan. Hij vond zijn eigen kaartje zo mooi, dat hij er ook meteen één voor zichzelf heeft gemaakt, helemaal precies hetzelfde als de kaart voor zijn broer. ;)

Little brother Niek also made a card for his big brother withe the same stampset. He made a box-card. He did all the ink blending himself. He loved his card so much that he made another one (everything the same) that he could keep himself. ;)

Niek heeft zijn zwemdiploma!

Goedemorgen, afgelopen maand heeft mijn kleine neefje Niek zijn zwemdiploma A gehaald en voor zo'n gelegenheid moet je als trotse tante natuurlijk wel een kaartje maken. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Girl diving van Lili of the valley. De afbeelding is dus eigenlijk een meisje, maar ik vind dat het net zo goed een jongetje kan zijn. ;) Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 van Crealies. Op een rode kaart heb ik een stuk blauw-wit gestreept design papier van het Proper pinstripes paperpad van My favorite things geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb uit rood karton de naam Niek en Hoera zwemdiploma gestanst met de D181201 Classic alphabet dies van Gummiapan en die heb ik op de kaart geplakt. Omdat de rode letters een beetje wegvallen heb ik er kleine accentjes op getekend met een witte gelpen.

Goodmorning, last month my little nephew got his swimmin certificate A and for this occassion this proud aunty had to make a card. I have made a card with the digital stamp Girl diving from Lili of the valley. The image is actually a girl, but I think it can also be used for a boy. ;) I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have die-cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies. On a red card I glued a piece of blue-white striped design paper from the Proper pinstripes paperpad from My favorite things and then I glued the image with foamtape on the card. From red cardstock I have die-cut the name Niek and the words hurray swimming certificate with the D181201 Classic alphabet dies from Gummiapan and then I glued those on the card. Because you can't see them really well I decided to add some extra accents with a white gelpen.

Fairytale challenge - On the coast

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een kaartje dat ik heb gemaakt voor mijn neefje Menno. Hij mocht pas geleden afzwemmen voor zijn zwemdiploma A en daar moest ik natuurlijk een kaartje voor maken. Het was helaas niet zulk mooi weer toen ik de foto's wilde maken, dus ik ben niet helemaal tevreden met mijn foto's in deze post. Het kaartje was meteen perfect voor de nieuwste challenge van het Fairytale challenge blog. De laatste challenge daar is Aan de kust. Onder water aan de kust zijn er vast en zeker kikkers te vinden met een duikbril op, dus mijn kaartje is toch helemaal perfect voor de challenge. ;)

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de stempelset Soak up the fun van My favorite things. Ik heb diverse afbeeldingen uit de set gestempeld en deze vervolgens ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeeldingen vervolgens uitgesneden met de Soak up the fun dies van My favorite things. Ik heb de kikker, het krabje en één van de vissen wiebeloogjes gegeven want dat vond ik wel leuk passen. Uit rood karton heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 & 50 van Crealies een frame gesneden. Uit aquarelpapier heb ik met de Stitched border 1 dies van Pretty pink posh een stukje grond en de golven gesneden. Ik heb met de Tombow dual brush markers hierop gekleurd om een mooie waterachtergrond te maken. Nadat ik de achtergrond en het rode frame op mijn kaart heb geplakt heb ik alle afbeeldingen op de kaart geplakt. De tekst is met de computer gemaakt en ik heb deze met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a card that I made for my cousin Menno. Recently he got his swimming diploma and I had to make him a card. The weather wasn't really good when I made the pictures, so I am not so happy with my pictures. The card is perfect for the latest challenge on the Fairytale challenge blog. The challenge this time is At the coast. I am sure when you go in the water at the coast you will find a frog with a diving mask on, so this card is perfect for the challenge. ;)

I made a card with the stamp set Soak up the fun from My favorite things. I stamped a couple of images from this set and then I coloured them all with my Polychromos potloden and the black glaze pen. I have cut all the images with the Soak up the fun dies from My favorite things. I gave the frog, crab and one of the fish googly eyes, because it gives the animal a fun look. From red cardstock I cut a frame with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 & 50 from Crealies. I have cut a wavy background and a little hill from watercolor paper with the Stitched border 1 dies from Pretty pink posh. I coloured all the background pieces with the Tombow dual brush markers. After I adhered all background pieces and the red frame on a white card, I adhered all the stamped images on the card. I made the sentiment on the computer and I adhered the words with foamtape on the card.

Ik had nog wat afbeeldingen over en die heb ik binnenin de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een nieuw stukje grond uitgesneden uit aquarel papier en ik heb met een tombow stift een water achtergrond getekend. Met blueprint sketch distress inkt heb ik nog een aantal kleine visjes op de kaart gestempeld.

I had some images left over, so I decided to decorate the inside of the card. I cut a new hill from watercolor paper and with a tombow marker I made a water background. I stamped a couple of little fish with blueprint sketch distress ink and then my card was done.
