As you like it challenge 234 - Favourite way to decorate a gift card

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt onze challenge gesponsord door Dies to die for. Deze keer willen we graag je favoriete manier zien om een cadeau kaart te geven. Ik vind het nogal saai om een cadeau kaart zomaar te geven, dus ik probeer er vaak een leuke verpakking bij te maken, zodat het iets minder saai is om te geven. Deze keer heb ik een doosje gemaakt waarin ook nog 3 lekker chocolaatjes passen, zodat het een extra feestelijk cadeautje wordt.

Mijn doosje is geïnspireerd op een doosje dat ik ergens op internet heb gezien en ik heb met behulp van de Silhouette cameo een eigen versie gemaakt die de perfecte maat heeft voor de cadeaukaart en de chocolaatjes. Voordat ik het doosje in elkaar heb geplakt heb ik een afbeelding van de stempelset Birthday party van Penny Black op het doosje gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding ook nog eens op maskerpapier gestempeld en daarna heb ik de afbeelding op mijn doosje gemaskerd. Ik heb daarna met Picked raspberry en Gathered twigs Distress inkt een achtergrond voor mijn afbeelding gemaakt. Ik heb daarna zwarte hotfix steentjes rondom de afbeelding geplakt. Onder het raampje in het doosje heb ik een tekst van de stempelset So much to say (retired) van Clearly besotted stamps gestempeld.

This time we want to see your favourite way to give a gift card to someone. I think it is a bit boring to give just a plain gift card, so I always try to make a nice package to go together with it. This time I have made a box that also holds 3 delicious chocolates to make the gift extra festive. 

My box is inspired by a box that I have seen somewhere on the internet and I made my own version with the help of my Silhouette cameo. It has the perfect size for a gift card and the 3 chocolates. Before I glued the box I have stamped an image from the set Birthday party from Penny Black on the4 box. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have stamped the image also on masking paper. I have masked the image on the box and used Picked raspberry and Gathered twigs Distress inks to add a background on the box. I have decorated the box with black hotfix gems. Under the window in the box I have stamped a sentiment from the set So much to say (retired) from Clearly besotted stamps.

Penny Black halloweencard

Hallo, ik post vandaag een halloween kaartje op mijn blog. Ik heb het kaartje gemaakt met de stempelset Frog o'lantern van Penny Black. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Derwent lightfast potloden. Ik heb laatst 6 potloden gekocht om deze te testen en die kon ik allemaal gebruiken om deze afbeelding in te kleuren. :) Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt.
Op een stukje wit karton heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Best witches van My favorite things gestempeld. Ik heb boven de tekst gekleurd met een grijs Caran d'ache Museum aquarelle potlood en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb onder het stukje wit karton een reepje oranje karton geplakt. Uit hetzelfde oranje papier heb ik een aantal sterretjes gestanst met de Star confetti die van Alexandra Renke. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik lijntjes op het witte karton gedoodled. Op een smal wit kaartje heb ik een strip gestreept papier van het Black and white stripes paper pack van My favorite things geplakt en daarna heb ik het witte karton op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een stripje van het gestreepte papier vastgeniet aan de kaart met de Tiny attacher van Tim Holtz. Ik heb daarna nog een sterretje op het stripje papier geplakt.

Hello, today I am posting a halloween card on my blog. I have made a card with the stampset Frog o'lantern from Penny Black. I have coloured the image with my Derwent lightfast pencils. I have bought 6 pencils to test them and I had the perfect colours for this image. ;) I have fussy cut the image.
I have stamped a sentiment from the set Best witches from My favorite thingson a piece of white cardstock. Above the sentiment I have coloured with a grey Caran d'ache Museum aquarelle pencil and then I glued the image with foamtape on the card. Under the white cardstock I added a strip of orange cardstock. From the same orange cardstock I have diecut a couple of stars with the Star confetti die from Alexandra Renke. I have doodled lines on the white cardstock with a black fineliner. On a tiny white card I glued a strip of striped paper from the Black and white stripes paper pack from My favorite things. I had a little piece left over and with the Tiny attacher from Tim Holtz I attached it onto the card. I glued an orange star on top of it.

Merry Monday - Sweet snowman

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer een nieuwe kerstkaart voor mijn Merry Monday serie. Deze keer heb ik een kaartje gemaakt met de stempel Sweet snowman van Penny Black. Ik heb de afbeelding met zwarte inkt op kraft papier gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens ingekleurd met mijn Derwent Procolour potloden. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies. Daarna heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Wintertime van C.C. Designs op het rechthoek gestempeld. Op een kraft kaart heb ik een strip rood stipjes design papier van de Designers sheets - Dots - Bright colours van Card deco geplakt en daarna heb ik het rechthoek met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Vandaag post ik weer een nieuw kerstkaartje op mijn blog. Ik probeer dit jaar weer het hele jaar door al aan mijn kerstkaarten te werken en die probeer ik te posten op Merry Monday.
Deze keer heb ik een kaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding Christmas hair do van All dressed up stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 van Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst. Hierop heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Christmas hugs van Penny Black gestempeld met Versafine clair Nocturne inkt. Daarna heb ik het kleine rondje van de stempelset Bunny slopes van Neat and tangled op dit rechthoek gestempeld met Versafine clair Charming pink en Shady lane inkt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op het rechthoek geplakt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 56 van Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst en die heb ik gekleurd met Versafine clair Charming pink inkt. 

Today I am posting a new christmas card on my blog. This year I am again trying to make christmas cards all year long and I am posting them on my blog on Merry Monday.
This time I made a card with the image Christmas hair do from All dressed up stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the image. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies I have die-cut a rectangle from white cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from the set Christmas hugs from Penny Black on it with Versafine clair Nocturne ink. I also stamped the little circles from the set Bunny slopes from Neat and tangled on it with Versafine clair Charming pink and Shady lane ink. I adhered the image with foamtape on the card. I have die-cut a scalloped rectangle from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 56 from Crealies and I coloured it with a dauber and Versafine clair Charming pink ink.

Ik heb er nog een rechthoek achter geplakt waarvan alleen een strip aan de bovenkant van de rechthoek is vastgeplakt, zodat er op die manier een kaart ontstaat. 

I die-cut another rectangle and I adhered a strip at the top of that rectangle onto the scalloped rectangle, so it made a card.

Goedemorgen, dit is dag 17 van de 30-day colouring challenge van Kathy Racoosin.

Goodmorning, this is day 17 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag post ik een simpel kerstkaartje gemaakt met een stempelset van Penny Black. Op dit kaartje heb ik een schattige kattenstempel van de stempelset Christmas hugs van Penny Black gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding samen met de tekst op een kaartje van Kars gestempeld en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Met een lijmstift heb ik streepjes lijm langs de sneeuwranden gezet en allemaal stippen rondom en op de afbeelding en daarna heb ik glitter overheen gestrooid om het op echte sneeuw te laten lijken.

Today I am posting a simple christmascard made with a stampset from Penny Black. On this card I used a cute cat image from the stampset Christmas hugs from Penny Black. I stamped the image together with the sentiment on a white card from Kars and then I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. With a liquid glue pen I added lines of glue on the snow and some random dots on and around the image. I added then some glitter to make it look like real snow.

Goedemorgen, vandaag is het weer tijd voor een kerst projectje op mijn blog en deze keer heb ik 4 tags gemaakt, die ik straks aan mijn kerstcadeaus kan hangen. De stempels van Penny Black die ik heb gebruikt, waren een kerstcadeautje van mijn lieve blogvriendin Annette. Echt heel lief!

Goodmorning, today it is time again for a new christmas project on my blog and this time I made 4 tags, that I can hang on my presents later this year. The stamps from Penny Black that I used, were a christmas present from my sweet blogfriend Annette. I really love them!

De stempels die ik heb gebruikt komen uit de set Holly jolly van Penny black. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Bij één tag heb ik een tekst uit de Penny back set gestempeld en de rest van de teksten komen uit de stempelset Tags-christmas van Elzybells (retired).

The stamps that I used are from the set Holly jolly from Penny black. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I stamped a sentiment from the Penny black set on one of the tags. All the other sentiments are from the stamp set Tags-christmas from Elzybells (retired) 

Ik heb de tags uitgesneden met een paar van de tags van de die-set Tag builder Blueprints 4 die-namics van My favorite things. Ik heb rood bakers twine gebruikt, zodat ik de tags aan de cadeautjes kan hangen.

I have cut the tags with a couple of the tags from the die set Tag builder Blueprints 4 die-namics from My favorite things. I used red bakers twine, so I can hang the tags onto the presents.

Penny Black - I love you

Goedemorgen, vandaag laat ik een kaartje zien dat ik speciaal voor de challenge op het Make my Monday blog heb gemaakt. Hun challenge deze keer is Zwart en wit met een klein beetje rood en ik had ineens heel erg zin om daar iets voor te maken.
Het is een valentijnskaartje geworden in een beetje aparte maat 7 bij 13 cm. Ik had namelijk envelopjes gekocht in deze maat en dan moet je natuurlijk wel een passend kaartje maken. Ik heb een afbeelding van de 2 honden van de The touch of love van Penny Black gestempeld op wit karton. Ik heb ook nog een tekst van de set Love letters van Law fawn bij de afbeelding gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding (gedeeltelijk) ingekleurd met Festive berries en Candied apple distress inkt. Ik heb ook nog een laag wit karton gekleurd met deze kleuren inkt en daarna heb ik alle lagen op elkaar geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am showing a card that I made especially for the challenge on the Make my Monday blog. Their challenge this time is Black and white with a pop of red and I really wanted to make something for the challenge.
I made a valentines card in a bit strange size (7x13 cm), bacause I had some envelopes in that size and then you have to make a card in the right size ofcourse). I stamped an image of 2 dogs from the stamp set The touch of love from Penny Black on white cardstock. I also stamped a sentiment from the set Love letters from Law fawn on the image. I coloured parts of the image with Festive berries and Candied apple distress ink. I also coloured a layer of white cardstock with these colours ink and then I adhered all layers on top of each other.

Goedemorgen, vandaag laat ik een cadeautasje zien dat ik heb gemaakt. Op het tasje heb ik een afbeelding van Penny Black gebruikt. Deze afbeelding heb ik al meerdere keren op kaartjes gebruikt, maar hij blijft gewoon erg lief. Dit is Squeeze till I squeak van Penny Black. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de witte gelpen en daarna heb ik deze uitgeknipt. Uit oranje stipjes papier van het Kraft in color - color paperpad van Doodlebug heb ik een grote banner gesneden met de Die-namics stitched jumbo fishtail banner stax van My favorite things.  Rondom een handvat van het tasje heb ik strikje gemaakt van wit lint. Met de Build a flower - Embellishment 2 from Cheery Lynn Designs heb ik van wit papier een aantal bloemetjes gemaakt. Uit groen papier heb ik een aantal takjes geponst. In het midden van de bloemetjes heb ik een zwart hotfix steentje geplakt. De tekst komt uit de set It's only words 4 from Ladybug crafts inks (retired).

Goodmorning, today I am showing you a giftbag that I made. On the bag I have used an image from Penny Black. I have used this image a couple of times before on a card, but I keep loving it. This is
Squeeze till I squeak from Penny Black. I have colored the image with my pencils and the white gelpen and then I cut it out. I have cut a large banner out of orange dotted paper from the Kraft in color - color paperpad from Doodlebug with the Die-namics stitched jumbo fishtail banner stax from My favorite things. I have made a little bow from white ribbon around one of the handles of the bag. With the Build a flower - Embellishment 2 from Cheery Lynn Designs I made a couple of flowers out of white paper. I punched a couple of leaves from green paper. In the centres of the flowers I adhered a black hotfix gem. The sentiment is from the set It's only words 4 from Ladybug crafts inks (retired).

Hallo allemaal! Gisteren waren mijn ouders 41 jaar getrouwd en dat hebben we gezellig gevierd met een etentje bij de pannenkoekenboerderij. :) Natuurlijk heb ik ook een kaartje voor mijn ouders gemaakt. Toen ik op zoek was naar een leuke afbeelding voor een kaartje kwam ik dit stempeltje van Penny Black tegen. Dat is alweer een tijd geleden dat ik met hun schattige afbeeldingen heb gewerkt en ze hebben zoveel leuke stempels! Deze schattige muisjes komen uit de set The touch of love van Penny Black. Ik heb de afbeelding gestempeld met versafine inkt en deze daarna geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Zig clean color real brush markers. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de Die-namics stitched rectangle stax van My favorite things. Op mijn kaart heb ik roze gestreept papier van het Kraft in color- kraft paperpad van Doodlebug geplakt. Daarna heb ik een strip zwart papier schuin over de kaart geplakt. Met een witte gelpen heb ik stiklijntjes op deze strip getekend. De tekst komt uit de set Sophie's sentiments van Lawn fawn. Ik heb deze gestempeld met versamark inkt en hem daarna geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder.

Hello everyone! Yesterday it was my parents 41th anniversary and we had a nice celebration at a pancake restaurant. :) I have made this card for them. When I was lookong for an image that I could on their card, I found this cute Penny black stamp. It has been a while since I made a card with on of their images and that is such a shame, because they have so many cute stamps! These adorable mice are from the set The touch of love from Penny Black. I stamped the image with versafine ink and then I embossed it with clear embossingpowder. Then I colored the image with the Zig clean color real brush markers. I have cut the image with the Die-namics stitched rectangle stax from My favorite things. On my card I added a layer of pink striped paper from the Kraft in color - kraft paperpad from Doodlebug. Then I added a strip of black paper on the card. I have added faux stitching with a white gelpen on the black cardstock. The sentiment is from the set Sophie's sentiments from Lawn fawn. I stamped this sentiment with black versafine ink and embossed it with black embossingpowder.

Fairytale challenge - Light blue + 1 other color

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog. De challenge deze keer is om de kleur lichtblauw te gebruiken samen met één andere kleur. Ik heb voor de kleur zwart gekozen omdat ik graag een kaartje wilde maken met deze leuke pinguins van de set Mimi's christmas from Penny Black. Ik heb op een stuk wit papier eerst de tekst geprint en daar boven heb ik de afbeelding gestempeld. De afbeelding is ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding boven bij de pinguins uitgeknipt. Op een witte kaart heb ik met soap powder inkt van Jenni Bowlin en de ranger distress tool eerst een subtiele lucht aangebracht. Ik heb de lucht het blauwste gemaakt vlak achter de afbeelding. Na het maken van de lucht heb ik de kaart geëbost met de snowfall embossingsfolder. De afbeelding is daarna met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog. The challenge this time is a color challenge: Use lightblue and 1 other color. I have chosen the color black, because I really wanted to use this stamp from the set Mimi's christmas from Penny Black. I started with printing the sentiment (Happy holidays) on a sheet of white paper and then I stamped the image above it. I colored the penguins with my pencils and the black glaze pen. Then I cut the upper top of the image out . Then I made a sky on a white card with soap pwder ink from Jenni Bowlin and the ranger distress tool. I added the most color behind the image. Then I embossed the card with the Snowfall embossingfolder. The image was then adhered with foamtape on the card.

Laatste kerstprojectje uit de Hobbyjournaal

Goedemorgen, eindelijk weer eens een berichtje van mij! Ik hoop dat iedereen een fijne kerst heeft gehad. Ik heb het lekker rustig aan gedaan, perfect dus! De reden van mijn afwezigheid is dat ik even goed in de lappenmand zat, ik kreeg een griepje en ben er waarschijnlijk iets te lang mee doorgelopen en toen kreeg ik van alles erbij. Dus de afgelopen weken heb ik maar eens goed uitgerust en bijna niks creatiefs gedaan, alleen een beetje haken en breien. Op eerste kerstdag heb ik voor het eerst sinds 3 of 4 weken weer eens wat gekleurd, dat was een last-minute cadeautje en daar heb ik geen foto van.
Gelukkig had ik dit hartje nog niet laten zien dat ik heb gemaakt voor het Hobbyjournaal. Ik had ook nog 2 kaarten gemaakt, maar ook daar heb ik geen foto's van. Oeps. Hopelijk gaat dat beter in 2014. ;)
Ik kwam deze leuke houten hartjes tegen bij de Xenos en die wilde ik wel gaan versieren om er een leuk kersthangertje van te maken. Het schattige pinguinmeisje is een stempeltje uit de set Mimi's winter friends van Penny Black. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. De tekst heb ik gestempeld met een setje van My favorite things en daarna heb ik deze in een vlaggenvorm uitgesneden. Met een ponsje heb ik een sneeuwster uitgesneden en deze heb ik op het hartje geplakt. Als laatste heb ik nog wat kleine plakpareltjes opgeplakt.

Goodmorning, finally a new post from me again! I hope everyone had a lovely christmas. My christmas was really relaxing, so it was perfect! The reason for me not posting, was that I have been sick for a couple of weeks. I had the flu, but I didn't take my rest, so some other things also happened. So I used the last couple of weeks to relax and I hardly crafted, the only thing I did was a little bit of crocheting and knitting. On first christmasday I made a little something as a last minute christmas present and that was my first time colouring in 3 or 4 weeks, but I was in a hurry so I don't have a picture. 
I was happy to find this picture on my computer. It is a little christmas decoration that I made for the Dutch magazine Hobbyjournaal. I also made 2 matching cards, but I didn't make pictures of them. I hope I will remember to make more pictures in 2014. ;)
I found these cute wooden hearts in a dutch store and I wanted to decorate it, to make a nice christmas ornament. The sweet penguingirl is a stamp from the set Mimi's winterfriends from Penny Black. I coloured the girl with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut the image out. The sentiment is stamped with a stampset from My favorite things and I cut it into a bannershape. I added a snowflake that I made with a punch. Then I decorated the heart and snowflake with some white pearls.

Eat, drink & be scary

Goedemorgen, hier ben ik weer met een halloween kaartje. Het kaartje is gemaakt met stempeltjes uit het clear stempelsetje Spooky van Penny Black. Ik heb de afbeelding gestempeld en daarna ingekleurd met mijn potloden. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de cirkel nestabilities. Ik heb met een grijze panpastel wolkjes gemaakt op de achtergrond. Daarna heb ik een stiklijntje getekend met een zwarte fineliner. Op mijn kaart heb ik een laag zwart papier geplakt en daar bovenop heb ik oranje papier geplakt. Op het oranje papier heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een patroon getekend. Daarna heb ik nog een aantal vleermuizen gestempeld met zwarte inkt. Daarna heb ik nog een aantal zwarte hotfix steentjes opgeplakt. Daarna heb ik een strip zwart papier opgeplakt. Hierop heb ik met een witte gelpen lijntjes getekend. De tekst is gestempeld en daarna heb ik hier omheen stiklijntjes getekend.

Goodmorning, here I am again with a new halloween card. The card is made with stamps from the clearstamp set Spooky from Penny Black. I have stamped the image and coloured it with my pencils. I have cut the image out with the circle nestabilities. I have made a cloudy background with a grey panpastel and then I added faux stitching with a black pen. On my card I adhered a piece of black paper and on top of that I adhered orange paper. I have drawn a pattern with a black pen on it and then I stamped a couple of bats on it. I added a strip of black paper. The sentiment is stamped and I have drawn some faux stitching lines around it.
