As you like it challenge 314 - Your favourite season

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze week worden we gesponsord door Lawn fawn. Deze challenge willen we graag weten wat je lievelings seizoen is om te gebruiken op je kaarten. Ik vind dat ieder seizoen zijn eigen charme heeft en kan niet echt een favoriet seizoen kiezen. Nu ben ik toe aan lekker zomers weer na een aantal dagen met regen, dus ik heb een zomers setje artist trading cards gemaakt.

Ik heb op mijn kaartjes een aantal afbeeldingen van de stempelset Beach day van Neat and tangled (no longer in business) gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. Daarna heb ik alle afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. Ik heb met de ATC frame with stamp dies van Craft & you design het basiskaartje voor mijn ATC-tjes uit blauw, roze en groen gestanst en daarna heb ik uit wit karton de laag voor op het basiskaartje gestanst. Op het witte karton heb ik een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things (out of business) en Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Met stansjes van de set ATC set (CS1101) van Marianne Design heb ik het strand en de golven uit wit karton gestanst. Het strand heb ik gekleurd met Old paper, Gathered twigs, Vintage photo, Brushed corduroy en Ground espresso Distress inkt en daarna heb ik met het Winter day stencil from Create a smile stamps stipjes op het strand aangebracht. Het water heb ik gekleurd met Peacock feathers, Mermaid lagoon en Uncharted mariner Distress inkt en daarna heb ik met de Witte Uni Posca pen accentjes op het water getekend.

Hi there! Today a new challenge is starting over on the As you like it challenge blog, and this week we’re being sponsored by Lawn fawn. For this challenge, we’d love to know what your favourite season is to feature on your cards. I think every season has its own charm, so I don’t really have a favourite. But after a few rainy days, I’m definitely in the mood for some sunshine – so I made a summery set of artist trading cards.

I used some images from the Beach Day stamp set by Neat and Tangled (they’re no longer around). I coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen. Then I cut them all out by hand.

For the base of my ATCs, I used the ATC frame with stamp dies from Craft & you design and cut them from blue, pink, and green card. I also cut a top layer from white card. On that white layer, I created a cloudy background using the Mini Cloud Edges stencil from My Favorite Things (which sadly isn’t in business anymore) and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.

I used the ATC set (CS1101) from Marianne Design to cut the beach and waves from white card. I coloured the sand with Old Paper, Gathered Twigs, Vintage Photo, Brushed Corduroy, and Ground Espresso Distress Inks. Then I added little dots to the sand using the Winter day stencil from Create a smile stamps.

For the water, I blended Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, and Uncharted Mariner Distress Inks, and finished it off with a few white highlights using the Uni Posca pen.

Op de achterkant van de ATC's heb ik wit karton geplakt en daarop heb ik gestempeld met teksten van de stempelset Stempels ATC Nederland van Carlijn design. Hiermee kan je de titel van de set opschrijven en ook hoeveel kaartje je hebt gemaakt. 

On the back of each ATC, I added a piece of white card and stamped it using the Stempels ATC Nederland from Carlijn design. This handy set lets you add details like the title of your series and how many cards you've made – perfect for keeping things organised, especially if you're swapping with other crafters!

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt onze challenge gesponsord door Amanda Jayne designs. Deze keer willen we graag weten of je liever lente of zomerkaartjes maakt. Ik heb gekozen voor lente omdat ik dat een fijn seizoen vind. De bloemetjes beginnen weer te bloeien, overal worden lieve jonge dieren geboren en het wordt weer lekker warmer (als het goed is ;) ).

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Bunny van JustMEdigitalstamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Van het Gingham-Linen rainbow petite prints paperpad van Doodlebug had ik nog een klein stukje rood geruit papier over. Met de Scallop borders van Pretty pink posh heb ik een geschulpt randje aan het design papier gestanst. Ik heb er een wit lintje omheen gebonden en daarna heb ik het papier op een witte kaart geplakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van de kaart getekend. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions op het rode design papier geplakt. Rondom de afbeelding heb ik gestempeld met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees.

This time we want to know if you prefer to make spring or summer cards. I have picked spring cards, because I really love this season. The flowers are starting to blossom again, young animals are born everywhere and the weather is getting warmer.

I have made a card with the digital stamp Bunny from JustMEdigitalstamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. I still had a little red scrap of red patterned paper from the Gingham-Linen rainbow petite prints paperpad from Doodlebug left over. I have cut a scalloped border on the bottom edge of the paper with the Scallop borders from Pretty pink posh. I have tied a white ribbon around the paper and then I glued the paper on a white card. I have drawn lines around the edges of the card with a black fineliner. I have glued the image with foamtape on the card. I stamped a sentiment from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions on the red patterned paper. Around the image I have stamped with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees.

Goodmorning, this is day 27 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Voor vandaag heb ik een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel I love ewe van JustMedigitalstamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos pencils, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt.

Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 van Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit regenboog design papier van het Really rainbow petite paper pack van Lawn fawn gestanst. Ik heb een geschulpte rechthoek uit zwart karton gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 56 van Crealies. Nadat ik de rechthoeken op elkaar heb geplakt, heb ik er een zwart lintje omheen gebonden. Ik heb de rechthoeken daarna op een kraft kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies I have cut a rectangle from rainbow patterned paper from the Really rainbow petite paper pack from Lawn fawn. I have cut a scalloped rectangle from black cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 56 from Crealies. I tied black ribbon around the rectangles and then I have glued the rectangles on top of each other. I have glued the rectangles on a kraft card. I added the image with foamtape on the card.

Vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lili of the valley. Voor onze challenge deze keer willen we graag weten of je liever een lente of zomerkaartje maakt. Ik ben gek van alle seizoenen omdat ze allemaal hun eigen speciale dingen hebben waar ik gek op ben. Voor deze challenge heb ik toch gekozen voor een zomerkaartje, omdat ik dit jaar best wel naar de zomer uitkijk. Ik hoop op dagen met een lekkere temperatuur en een vrolijk zonnetje, daar worden de meeste mensen vrolijk van en dat kunnen we nu goed gebruiken.

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de oude stempelset Beach day van Neat and tangled (no longer in business). Neat and tangled bestaat helaas niet meer, maar een groot deel van de afbeeldingen zijn via de digitale stempelset Beach theme digital stamps van Just me digital stamps nog steeds te koop. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen uitgeknipt.

Op een witte kaart heb ik een strook schilderstape op geplakt en daarna heb ik met stencils en Distress inkt een achtergrond gemaakt voor mijn afbeeldingen. Met de Hillside stencils van Lawn fawn en Scattered straw en  Brushed corduroy Distress inkt heb ik een strandje gemaakt. In de stempelset zit een stempeltje met stipjes die ik op de zandheuvel heb gestempeld met Gathered twigs Distress inkt. De zee is gemaakt met het Make waves stencil van My favorite things en Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Voor de lucht heb ik het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeeldingen met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Nadat ik het schilderstape weer had verwijderd heb ik een tekst op de kaart gestempeld.

I love all seasons because they all have their own specials things, but for this challenge I decided to make a summer card. This year I am really looking forward to the summer. I hope we will have a nice temperature and much sunny days, because that makes most people happy and that is what we need this year!

Unfortunately they are no longer in business, but most images from this set can be bought as a digital stampset from Etsy. This is a link: Beach theme digital stamps from Just me digital stamps. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut all the images.

On a white card I added masking tape on the right side of the card and then I made a background for my images with stencils and Distress inks. With the Hillside stencils from Lawn fawn and Scattered straw and Brushed corduroy Distress ink I have made a little beach. I used Gathered twigs Distress ink and a dots stamp from the set to add the dots on the beach. The sea is made with the Make waves stencil from My favorite things and Peacock feathers Distress ink. I have used the  Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink for the sky. I have used foamtape to add all the images on the card. After I removed the masking tape, I stamped a sentiment from the set on the card.

Vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog. Deze keer willen we graag je favoriete kleur medium zien. Nou dat was natuurlijk heel moeilijk kiezen voor mij. ;) Mijn absolute favoriet zijn natuurlijk mijn potloden. Waarom zijn ze zo favoriet? Mijn potloden waren mijn eerste kleurmiddel waar ik mee ben begonnen te kleuren. Ik heb in die jaren veel bijgeleerd en ik denk dat mijn niveau best veel beter is geworden in die tijd. Ik kan er gewoon heel fijn mee werken. Kleuren met potloden is gewoon heel ontspannend voor me.

Vandaag post ik een paas tag. Tags zijn altijd leuk om aan cadeautje te hangen of een tasje/zakje met eitjes. Voor de paastag heb ik de digitale stempel Hoppy happy easter bunny van Just me digital stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de Classic tag 2 dies van Neat and tangled. Boven- en onderaan de tag heb ik paars ruitjespapier van de Tiny check brights paperpad van My favorite things geplakt. Ik heb een wit lintje aan de tag gebonden. De bloem heb ik gekleurd met de clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen.

I don't think you can guess which medium I have picked. ;) My absolute favourite medium are my pencils. Why are they my favourite? My pencils were my first colouring medium ever. I learned a lot the last couple of years and I think I improved a lot. I really love working with them. Colouring with pencils is really relaxing for me.

Today I am posting an easter tag. Tags are always fun to hang on presents or a basket/bag with chocolate eggs. On my easter tag I used the digital stamp Hoppy happy easter bunny from Just me digital stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have cut the image with the Classic tag 2 dies from Neat and tangled. On the top and botto of the tag I adhered purple gingham paper from the Tiny check brights paperpad from My favorite things. I tied a white ribbon onto the tag. I coloured the flower with the clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen.

Goodmorning, this is day 3 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Het is weer tijd voor een nieuw kerstkaartje op mijn blog. Deze keer heb ik de superschattige afbeelding Christmas elves van Just ME digital stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens uitgesneden met de Crea-nest-lies XXL labels & tags 005 van Crealies. Ik heb de afbeelding in de die laten zitten en daarna heb ik met een distress tool Soap powder inkt van Jenni Bowlin rondom de afbeelding aangebracht. Hierdoor krijg je een leuke wit randje langs de kanten. Ik heb een strikje van wit lint aan de tag gemaakt. Op een witte kaart heb ik rood streepjes papier van het Hearts & stripes paperpack van My favorite things geplakt. Ik heb de tag met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik de kaart nog versierd met een aantal witte sneeuwvlok stickers.

I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have cut the image out with the Crea-nest-lies XXL labels & tags 005 from Crealies. I left the image in the die and then I coloured around the elves with a distress tool and Soap powder ink from Jenni Bowlin. I tied a bow from white ribbon on the end of the tag. On a white card I adhered red striped design paper from the Hearts & stripes paperpack from My favorite things. I adhered the tag with foamtape on the card. The card is decorated with a couple of white snowflake stickers.

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt voor mijn moeder, gewoon om even te laten weten dat ik van haar houd. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding I love ewe van Just Me digital stamps. Ik heb het schattige schaapje ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een witte kaart heb ik roze hartjes papier van het Hearts & stripes paperpad van My favorite things geplakt nadat ik daar eerst een wit lintje omheen heb gebonden. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb naast de tekst nog 2 zwarte hotfix hartjes geplakt.

I made a card with the image I love ewe from Just Me digital stamps. I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut the image. On a white card I adhered pink heart paper from the Hearts & stripes paperpad from My favorite things after I tied a white ribbon around it. I adhered the image with foamtape on the card. Then I added 2 black hotfix hearts next to the sentiment.

Goedemorgen, dit is dag 30 van de 30-day colouring challenge van Kathy Racoosin. Het is dus de laatste dag. Deze keer is het helaas niet gelukt om iedere dag iets nieuwe gekleurds te hebben, maar het was ondanks dat toch weer een erg leuke challenge en ik heb nu alweer zin in de volgende! ;)

Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwate glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies. Ik heb een tekst van de set Sentimental type van Clearly besotted stamps bij de afbeelding gestempeld. Met Soap powder inkt van Jenni Bowlin heb ik rondom de afbeeldig gekleurd. Ik heb de afbeelding op zwart karton geplakt. Op een witte kaart heb ik rood ruitjespaper uit het Tiny check paperpad van My favorite things geplakt. Ik heb hierop een stripeje zwart papier geplakt waar ik wit borduurgaren omheen heb gebonden. Ik heb de afbeelding versierd met kleine zwarte hotfix steentjes.

I have cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies. I stamped a sentiment from the set Sentimental type from Clearly besotted stamps on the image. With soap powder ink from Jenni Bowlin I coloured around the image. I adhered the image on black cardstock. On a white card I adhered red gingham paper from the Tiny check paperpad from My favorite things. I adhered a small strip of black cardstock after I wrapped white embroidery thread around it. The image is decorated with a couple of black hotfix gems.
