Illustration - Hello

Hallo, eindelijk post ik weer iets voor World watercolour maand. De afgelopen week was erg druk en het posten lukt niet altijd. Maar vandaag kan ik eindelijk de kaart posten die ik heb gemaakt na het volgen van een tutorial op Skillshare. Ik heb een cursus van Brenda Bakker gevolgd waarin je met procreate werkt. De cursus Create sketchy doodles in procreate was heel leuk om te doen en het leek me ook leuk om een soortgelijke bloem te tekenen op echt papier in plaats van op de ipad.

Ik ben begonnen met een schets met potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding overgetrokken met zwarte fineliners. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding gekleurd met de Wax aquarell potloden van Koh-I-Noor. Als laatste heb ik nog wat extra accenten op de afbeelding aangebracht met zwarte en witte Uni Posca pennen. Ik heb de tulp daarna uitgeknipt. 

Op een roze kaart heb ik zwart-wit streepjespapier van het Positive vibes paperpad van Craft sensations geplakt. Ik heb de tulp daarna met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Uit wit karton heb ik het woord hello gestanst met de Many sentiments coverplate dies van The ton stamps en deze heb ik naast de tulp op de kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik de kaart versierd met kleine witte pareltjes.

Hello, finally I am able to post something again for World watercolour month. Last week has been really busy and I wasn't able to post anything. So I am really happy that I can post the card that I made after following a tutorial on Skillshare. I have followed a class from Brenda Bakker that uses procreate on your ipad. The class Create sketchy doodles in procreate was so much fun and I thought it would be fun to create a flower on paper in the same style you use in this class.

I started a sketch with my pencils and then I traced the image with black fineliners. Then I used the Wax aquarell pencils from Koh-I-Noor to colour the tulip. I added some extra accents on the drawing with white and black Uni Posca pens. I have fussy cut the tulip. 

On a pink card I have glued black and white striped paper from the Positive vibes paperpad from Craft sensations. Then I used foamtape to glue the tulip on the card. From white cardstock I have cut the word hello with the Many sentiments coverplate dies from The ton stamps and then I glued it on the card. I have decorated the card with tiny white pearls.

Hallo, ik wil al een hele tijd leren tekenen op de ipad met behulp van het programma Procreate. Ik zie bij heel veel mensen zulke leuke dingen voorbij komen en dat wil ik ook graag eens proberen. Ik had al wel het programma gekocht, maar ik had nog geen apple pencil aangeschaft omdat ik op mijn ipad alleen het eerste generatie pencil kon gebruiken. Toen een tijdje geleden mijn ipad ineens kapot ging, heb ik een nieuwe gekocht en toen ik mooi meteen de tweede generatie apple pencil erbij kopen. Ik heb al wat video's erover gekeken op youtube en Skillshare en zo al wat dingen geleerd, maar het is nog wel even puzzelen wat er allemaal voor functies zijn.

Hello, I have been wanting to learn to draw on my ipad with the help of the app Procreate. I have seen many pretty illustrations on instagram and I really wanted to try it myself. I had purchased the program, but didn't have an apple pencil yet, because I could only use the first generation apple pencil on my ipad. A few weeks ago, my old ipad wasn't working any more, so I purchased a new one and that was the perfect occasion to buy a second generation apple pencil. I have been watching some video's about procreate on youtube and skillshare and I am still very confused about all the different options that are available in the program. 

Ik kwam op Skillshare een hele leuke cursus tegen van Brenda Bakker, een echte Procreate expert en die heb ik gevolgd. Tijdens de cursus Create sketchy doodles in procreate leer je op een losse en speelse manier tekenen. Heel erg leuk om te doen! De opdrachten werden heel duidelijk uitgelegd. Ik post vandaag de vaas en de kerstboom die ik tijdens de cursus heb gemaakt. Ik heb de kerstman ook gemaakt, maar die was niet helemaal mooi geworden, dus die ga ik nog eens over doen. Ik heb zelf ook nog twee eigen tekeningen gemaakt van bloemen en een tulp. 

On Skillshare I found a really great class from Brenda Bakker, a real Procreate expert and I have followed it. During the class Create sketchy doodles in procreate you learn to draw in a very loose and playful style. I really loved it! Brenda's explanations are really clear and easy to follow. Today I am posting the vase and christmas tree, that I made during the class. I also did the santa drawing, but I am not happy with it, so I am going to do that one again. I also made 2 extra drawings, the flowers and the tulip.

Hallo, ik heb een tijdje geleden een deel van een cursus op Skillshare gevolgd. Het waren lessen van Bianca Rayala. Ik heb van de cursus Four easy wonderland Christmas cards in watercolour de wonderland snowman gemaakt. Ik heb de schets gemaakt in mijn Watercolour book A5 portret van Hahnemühle en daarna heb ik de afbeelding gekleurd met Daniel Smith watercolours. Ik vond het een leuke tutorial om te volgen door de losse schilderstijl die gebruikt wordt. Ik heb geprobeerd om zelf ook redelijk los te werken, maar blijf het moeilijk vinden.

Hello, a while ago I have followed part of a class on Skillshare. I have followed a lesson from Bianca Rayala. From the class Four easy wonderland Christmas cards in watercolour I have made the wonderland snowman. I have made the sketch in the Watercolour book A5 portret from Hahnemühle and then I used Daniel Smith watercolours to colour the snowman. I thought it was a fun class because of the loose style of painting. I did try to do the loose painting myself, but I still think it rather difficult.

Francoise Blayac - Watercolour pencil basics: Get started with a simple fruit painting

Hallo, ik heb weer een nieuwe cursus van Francoise Blayac gevolgd op Skillshare. Deze keer heb ik de cursus Watercolour pencil basics: Get started with a simple fruit painting gevolgd, waarin je een appel leert tekenen. Het was weer erg leuk om te doen en ik ben tevreden met het eindresultaat. 

Ik heb mijn tekening gemaakt op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano en daarna heb ik mijn appel ingekleurd met de Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Aquarel potloden. 

Hello, I have followed a new class from Francoise Blayac on Skillshare. This time I have followed the class Watercolour pencil basics: Get started with a simple fruit painting. It teaches you to draw and paint an apple. It was really fun to do and I am very happy with end result.

I have made the drawing on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano and then I painted the apple with my Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Watercolour pencils.

Goedemorgen, ik heb weer een tekening gemaakt nadat ik een tutorial op Skillshare heb gevolgd. Mijn neefjes van 8 en 10 kwamen een tijdje geleden logeren en ze wilden graag iets schilderen. Ik heb daarom een redelijk makkelijk project uitgekozen om samen met hun te maken. Daarna hebben we samen een cactus getekend en dat vonden ze erg leuk, maar ik ben helemaal vergeten om een foto te maken van hun tekening, dus die kan ik helaas niet laten zien.

Ik heb een tutorial van Pooja Kenjale-Umrani gevolgd. De Watercolor for kids: Fun & easy cactus postcard tutorial is speciaal voor kinderen. Ik heb de afbeelding eerst met potlood getekend op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano. Voor het inkleuren heb ik de Van Gogh aquarelverf van Royal Talens gebruikt. Daarna heb ik met een zwarte fineliner en de zwarte glaze pen de afbeelding overgetrokken.

Goodmorning, I have made another drawing after I have followed a tutorial on Skillshare. My little nephews (8 and 10 year old) came over for a sleepover and wanted to draw something. So I have looked for an easy tutorial. they would be able to do. We have drawn the cactus together and they both had fun, but I have forgotten to take a picture of their drawings.

I have followed a tutorial from Pooja Kenjale-Umrani. The Watercolor for kids: Fun & easy cactus postcard tutorial is especially for children. I have drawn the cactus with a pencil on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano and then I used Van Gogh watercolours from Royal Talens to colour the image. I used a black fineliner and the black glaze pen to outline the image and for the mustache.

Francoise Blayac - Ladybug in watercolour pencils

Goedemorgen, vandaag laat ik een lieveheersbeestje zien, die ik heb getekend nadat ik een tutorial van Francoise Blayac op Skillshare heb gevolgd. Ik wil graag mijn aquarelpotloden meer gebruiken en dus ben ik op zoek gegaan naar een tutorial daarover. Ik heb de Ladybug in watercolour pencils gevolgd. Ik heb de tekening eerst met potlood op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano geschetst. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding gekleurd met mijn Derwent inktense potloden. Het was erg leuk om te doen en ik heb er veel van geleerd. 

Goodmorning, today I am showing a ladybug that I have drawn after I have followed a tutorial from Francoise Blayac on Skillshare. I really want to use my watercolour pencils more and I have searched for a watercolour pencil tutorial. I have followed the Ladybug in watercolour pencils. I sketched the image first with a pencil on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano. I coloured the image with my Derwent inktense pencils. I really had fun during this tutorial and I have learned a lot.

Isa Down - Loose florals in ink

Goedemorgen, een tijdje geleden ben ik lid geworden van Skillshare. Ik heb daar een les gevolgd van Isa Down. In deze les leer je een cowboy poppy tekenen en daarna kleur je hem ook nog in met aquarelverf. 

Voor mijn kaartje van vandaag heb ik besloten om alleen de zwart-wit versie te gebruiken. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 130 van Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst en daarop heb ik eerst met potlood mijn klaproos getekend. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding overgetrokken met zwarte fineliners in verschillende maten. Naast de afbeelding heb ik een kleine tekst van de set Simple script van Clearly besotted gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op een rode kaart geplakt. 

Goodmorning, a while ago I became a member of Skillshare. On skillshare I have followed a lesson from Isa Down. In that lesson we were learning how to draw a cowboy poppy with ink and then we coloured it with watercolours.

For my card I decided to go for a black and white poppy only. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 130 from Crealies I have cut a rectangle from white cardstock and then I started drawing the poppy on it with a pencil. After I was done I traced the image with black fineliners in different sizes. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Simple script from Clearly besotted on the rectangle. I have glued the image with foamtape on a red card. 

I want to enter this card in the following challenges:
