As you like it challenge 164 - Your favourite text method

As you like it challenge blog.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog. This time we want to know your favourite method to add a sentiment on your card and why you like that method. I love many ways to add a sentiment like with a die-cut or on a little strip of paper. But most of the times I stamp my sentiment on the card itself. I don't plan my cards really well, so often when it is almost done I need to find a place for the sentiment. It used to be really scary to stamp it on your card, but since I am the lucky owner of a stamping platform it can hardly go wrong! This time we are being sponsored by Polkadoodles.
While I was cleaning my hobby space I found this really cute stamp and I used it to make a card for this challenge. This is Funny bird FRS263 from Woodware craft collection (retired). I stamped the image on white cardstock and then I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have die-cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 24 from Crealies. I have masked the image and then I added a cloudy background with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Peacock feathers distress ink. The grass is made with Mowed lawn distress ink. Then I have stamped the sentiment on the card. I have glued the image on a kraft card.

Di's digi designs challenge - Ribbon and/or bows

Goodmorning, today a new challenge has started on the Di's digi designs challenge blog. This time we want to see a ribbon and/or a bow on your card.
I have made a card with the digital stamp Peekaboo Pete from Di's digi stamps. I wanted to give no-line colouring a try, so I changed the lines into a light grey and then I printed the image. Then I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils. When I was half way done I wanted to give up, because I wasn't happy with the results, but I glad I didn't give up. And now I am happy with the end result. I have die-cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies. On a white card I glued a piece of red dotted design paper from the Spots & stripes brights paper pad from Sugarpea designs after I tied white seam binding around it. Then I glued the circle with foamtape on the card. On a piece of white cardstock I have stamped a sentiment from the set Flag it from Clearly besotted stamps (retired) and then I have fussy cut it. I have glued the sentiment with foamtape on the card.

Gerda Steiner designs - Happy mail

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new card here on my own blog and also on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. I have made a card with the digital stamp Snail mail from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. On a white card I used masking tape to create a square. I coloured inside the square with Bundled sage, Peeled paint, Vintage photo and Ground espresso Distress ink. I made a stencil from the masking paper for the ground. When all the ink was totally dry, I have drawn grass inside the square with my Polychromos pencils. With a white gelpen and a black pen I added some dots on the brown parts for some extra texture. I glued the image with foamtape on the card. I have die-cut the words Happy mail from white cardstock with the Cutter dies mini alpha and numbers from CC designs (retired) and I glued those above the sentiment.

As you like it challenge 163 - Pink and green or Blue and orange

As you like it challenge blog.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog. This time we want to know which of these colour combinations is your favourite and you have to tell us why. Do you prefer pink and green or blue and orange. Although I like the colours blue and orange, I don't like the combination of these 2. I think it is really hard to colour anything in these colours. Pink and green are a perfect match for me, they are so pretty together. This challenge is sponsored by Lili of the valley.

I have made a card with the stampset Mariquitas - Sellos from La Pareja Creativa. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils and then I have fussy cut them all. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies I have die-cut a circle from white cardstock. I made a cloudy background on it with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. I have die-cut another circle with the same dies and then I used the Grassy hills die-namics from My favorite things to die-cut a grassy border on it. I have coloured the grass with Mowed lawn distress ink and then I glued it on the circle. I have made a card from 2 circles that I glued together on the top. I ahve die-cut them from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 from Crealies. I glued the circle on top of the card. I have die-cut 5 flowers from white cardstock with the Fresh cut flowers die-namics from My favorite things. I coloured them with Tumbled glass and Mowed lawn Distress ink and then I glued them on the card. I decorated the flowers with pink pearls. Then I glued all the image with foamtape on the card.

Gerda Steiner designs - Happy birthday tag
