Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het
As you like it challenge blog. Vandaag willen we graag weten wat je favoriete bloem is en waarom. Ik vind klaprozen erg mooi, maar tulpen staan toch echt op een tweede plek. Langzamerhand begint de tulpentijd weer in Nederland en zie je ze steeds meer, dus ik heb voor deze challenge voor tulpen gekozen. Ik kan gewoon genieten van de mooie kleuren en het feit dat de lente snel nadert.
Ik heb voor deze challenge een kaartje gemaakt voor mijn
Memory dex. Ik heb met het
Rolodex cutting stencil van Jilliez een kaartje uit aquarel papier gestanst. Op het kaart heb ik daarna de
Spring tulips van Clearly besotted (retired) gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding eerst een keer gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze gemaskerd en heb ik de afbeelding nog een keer gestempeld. Daarna heb ik afbeelding ingekleurd met de
Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Watercolour markers. Tijdens een vakantie naar Limburg, kwam ik in een hobbywinkel in Aken terecht en daar heb ik toen 2 markers gekocht om ze te testen. Dus de afbeelding is ingekleurd met maar 2 kleuren markers. Ik heb de kleuren Middle purple pink 125 en Permanent green olive 167 gebruikt. Boven de tulpen heb ik een tekst van de stempelset
Karin Joan- Blooming - Basicsdckj01 van Studio light gestempeld. Daarna heb ik met de stipjesstempels van de stempelset
Tracey Hey - Rocking the wreath van Alpaca pals gestempeld. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik daarna een lijntje langs de randen van het kaartje getekend.
Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog. Today we want to like to know what you favourite flowers are and you have to tell us why. I love poppies but tulips are also a big favourite. Slowly it is getting tulip time over here in the Netherlands and you start seeing them more and more, so for this challenge I have picked tulips. I really love their pretty colours and I love the fact that spring is coming.
For this challenge I have made a card for my Memory dex. With the Rolodex cutting stencil from Jilliez I have diecut a little card from watercolour paper. On the card I have stamped the Spring tulips from Clearly besotted (retired). I started stamping the image one time and then I masked that image and stamped it another time. Then I coloured the image with the Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Watercolour markers. During a vacation in the south of the Netherlands, I visited the German city Aachen and there I visited a hobby store, where I bought these markers. I only bought 2 colours, because I wanted to test the markers. So this image is only coloured with 2 markers. I have used the colours Middle purple pink 125 and Permanent green olive 167. I have stamped a sentiment from the stampset Karin Joan- Blooming - Basicsdckj01 from Studio light above the tulips. Then I stamped with the dotsstamps from the set Tracey Hey - Rocking the wreath from Alpaca pals around the image and the sentiment. With a black pen I have drawn a line around the edges of the card.
