Guest designer Gerda Steiner designs - Hippo with butterfly

Goedemorgen, vandaag mag ik weer guestdesigner zijn voor Gerda Steiner designs. Deze keer heb ik de stempelset Hippo with butterfly van Gerda Steiner designs gekregen om een kaartje mee te maken. Ik heb de afbeelding met Versafine onyx black inkt gestempeld op aquarel papier en daarna heb ik de afbeelding geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Vervolgens heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Zig clean colour real brush markers en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een witte kaart heb ik stripje turquoise ruitjes papier van het Tiny check brights paperpack van My favorite things geplakt. Ik heb vervolgens op een stuk wit karton het eerste deel van de tekst gestempeld met zwarte inkt. Ik heb vervolgens een heel smal stripje roze karton onder het witte karton geplakt en daarna heb ik dit witte karton met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tag uit roze karton gestanst met de Die-namics tag builder blueprints 5 van My favorite things en hierop heb ik het tweede deel van de tekst gestempeld en nadat ik de afbeelding met foamtape heb opgeplakt heb ik de roze banner onder de afbeelding geplakt. Uit roze karton heb ik een aantal hartjes gestanst en deze heb ik op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am guestdesigning for Gerda Steiner designs again. This time I have received the stamp set Hippo with butterfly from Gerda Steiner designs to make a card with.
I stamped the image with Versafine onyx black ink on watercolur paper and then I embossed it with clear embossingpowder. Then I have coloured the image with my Zig clean colour real brush markers and then I have fussy cut the image. On a white card I adhered a strip of blue check paper from the Tiny check brights paperpack from My favorite things. On a piece of white cardstock I stamped the first part of the sentiment with black ink. Then I adhered a strip of pink cardstock under the white cardstock and then I adhered it with foamtape on the white card. I have die-cut a banner from pink cardstock with the Die-namics tag builder blueprints 5 from My favorite things and stamped the second part of the sentiment on it. After I adhered the image with foamtape on the card I adhered the banner under the image. I have die-cut a couple of hearts from pink cardstock and decorated my card with them.

Today is day 28 from the 30-day coloring challenge from Kathy Racoosin.

Goedemorgen, vanochtend zag ik op youtube een filmpje van Therese van Lost in paper waarin ze een kaartje maakt met een verhoogd frame. Ik vond het zo'n mooi kaartje dat ik er vanochtend meteen mijn eigen versie van heb gemaakt. Ik heb meteen 2 kaartjes gemaakt. :)

Goodmorning, this morning I saw a video on youtibe from Therese from Lost in paper. In the video she made a card with a raised frame. I really love her card, so I decided that I wanted to make my own version this morning. I even made 2 cards. :)

Beide kaartjes zijn gemaakt met dezelfde stempel, namelijk Anemone FL004 van Nellie Snellen. Ik heb de afbeelding op linnen papier gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze ingekleurd met mijn potloden. Daarna heb ik een vierkant van de Die-namics pierced square frames van My favorite things op de afbeelding gelegd en deze uitgesneden met mijn cuttlebug. Ik heb de buiten-en binnenkant daarna op een kaart geplakt. Op het frame heb ik een tekst van de set Essential sentiments van My favorite things gestempeld en daarna heb ik het frame met foamtape op de kaart geplakt

Both cards are made with the same stamp, the Anemone FL004 from Nellie Snellen. I stamped the image on paper with linen structure and then I colored the image with my pencils. Then I cut the square frame with the Die-namics pierced square frames from My favorite things. I adhered the inner and puter part with tape on a card. Then I stamped a sentiment from the set Essential sentiments from My favorite things on the frae and then I adhered it with foamtape on the card.

Ik heb 2 kaartjes gemaakt als noodoplossing omdat ik de plaatsing van de bloem niet mooi genoeg vond op één van de kaartjes. Door met een cirkel frame te werken werd dat mooi opgelost. Dus op dit kaartje heb ik weer de Anemone FL004 van Nellie Snellen gestempeld. Deze keer heb ik de bloem in het paars gekleurd met mijn potloden. Deze keer heb ik dus een cirkel frame uitgesneden met de Die-namics pierced circle frames van My favorite things. In de middenste cirkel heb ik weer een tekst van de set Essential sentiments van My favorite things naast de bloem gestempeld.

I made 2 cards because I had stamped the flower in the wrong place. I didn't like it for a square frame. But the solution was using a circle frame. So again I stamped the Anemone FL004 from Nellie Snellen on white cardstock. This time I colored the flower purple with my pencils. I have cut the circle frame with the Die-namics pierced circle frames from My favorite things. I stamped the sentiment from the set Essential sentiments from My favorite things on the inner circle next to the image.

Omdat....

En dit is de tweede spinner die ik gemaakt heb voor het hobbyjournaal. Ik heb een paarse kaart genomen. Ik heb op een stukje wit papier de paarse stippen geprint. De vlinder is een stempel van Inqueboutique van het setje See-d`s Lil`s Stamps: Springtime. De vlinder is ingekleurd met derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine. Ook het kleine bloemetje komt uit hetzelfde setje. Op de voelsprietjes heb ik twee zwarte hotfix steentjes gebruikt.

And this is the second spinner card from this month. I used a purple card. I printed the purple dots on a piece of white paper. The butterfly is a stamp from Inqueboutique from the set See-d`s Lil`s Stamps: Springtime. I colored the butterfly with derwent pencils and OMS. The little fower is also a stamp from that same set. I added 2 black hotfix stones.

Omdat.............

Oei dat was even moeilijk om dit kaartje mooi op de foto te krijgen. Na vele pogingen is het dan toch uiteindelijk gelukt!

Ik heb voor deze kaart wit linnen papier gebruikt en daar heb ik het tekstje op geprint. Daarna heb ik van het blauw-paarse papiertje een randje gemaakt met behulp van mijn cuttlebug en Nestabilities. Deze is op de kaart vastgezet met leuke bradjes die bij de Action vandaan komen. De afbeeldingen zijn van Mattie.

Wow that was a hard job to get a good pictutre of this card. After several attempts I finally got one good picture!

For this card I used white linnen cardstock and I printed the text on the card. I made from some blue-purple paper the circle with the help of my cuttlebug and nestabilities. I attached the circle to the card with brads I bought at discount shop. The picture of the flowers is from Mattie.

Eindelijk weer nieuwe kaarten

Eindelijk heb ik weer eens tijd om wat nieuwe kaarten te plaatsen. Ik zag deze kaart bij Michelle van de cardgrotto en ik vond hem meteen superlief! Zelfs zo lief dat ik hem voor vier verschillende gelegenheden heb gemaakt in allemaal verschillende kleurtjes. De stempels zijn van doodlebug en ik heb de bloemetjes ingekleurd met aquarelpotloden. Het gekleurde papier is van papicolor, behalve het gele. Daar weet ik helaas het merk niet van.

Finally I have some time to post some new cards on my blog. I saw this card at Michelle's blog cardgrotto and I loved it immediately!. I liked it so much that I made for 4 different occasions in 4 different colors. The stamps is from Doodlebug and I have colored the flowers with aquarel pencils. The colored paper is from Papicolor, except the yellow paper. I don't know where I did get that paper.

Soms is het handig om alvast een kaartje klaar te hebben, dat je voor meerdere gelegenheden kunt gebruiken, vandaar een kaartje met omdat...

De achtergrondstrepen heb ik vervaagd op de computer en geprint op de kaart. Daarna heb ik de bloem uitgeknipt. Het plakken is soms erg lastig met die dunne steel, maar het is gelukt!

It is always good to have cards which you can use for different occasions, so I made this card with the simple text: because....

On the computer I faded the stripes on the background and I printed them on a card. Then I have cut out the flower. Sticking it onto the card was a bit difficult because of the really thin flower stem. But I managed to do it and my card is ready!
