As you like it 144 - Rubber or digi

Today it is time again for a new challenge on the As you like it challenge blog and this we want to know what you prefer to work with: Rubber/clear stamps or digital stamps. I love working with both kinds of stamps. Both products have their own advantages. I love that when I use a rubber or clear stamp that I can embos my image, which makes watercolouring my image so much more simple. The big advantage of digital stamps is that you can decide yourself what size you want to print your image. I also love it, that you can easily mirror an image, because sometimes that looks better on a card. Another very nice advantage: they don't take much room to store! Because of these reasons I have picked a digital stamp for my card today. For my sentiments is almost always use a rubber or clear stamp. They are really easy to stamp on your project when you are almost done with your card.

On my card I used the digital stamp Mice making snowman from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and then I have fussy cut the image. I glued a strip of pink design paper from the Graphic grid paperpack from My favorite things on the bottom of a white card. On another piece of white cardstock I then made a background for the image with Peacock feathers distress ink. I glued the image with foamtape on the white cardstock. In the right upper corner I stamped a sentiment from the set Polar peek-a-boo pals from Avery elle. With Peacock feathers distress ink I stamped a couple of snowflakes around the image. I glued the white cardstock with the image with foamtape on my card and then I used a punch to round the bottom corners.

STAMP: Mice making snowman from Di's digi stamps, Polar peek-a-boo pals from Avery elle
COLORING MEDIUM: Polychromos pencils, Distress inks
PAPER: White cs, Graphic grid paperpack from My favorite things
INK: Versafine onyx black, Peacock feathers distress ink
ACCESSORIES: Corner punch

Gerda Steiner designs - Ghost hugs!

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new project on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I am showing you that although halloween is over, you can still use the stampset A boo for you from Gerda Steiner designs to make a card. I have stamped one of the ghosts and then I coloured it with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. Then I have fussy cut the image. I have coloured my ghost then with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen.
I have die-cut 2 rectangles from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 56 from Crealies. I glued those together with a strip of double sided tape and then you get a card. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies I have die-cut a rectangle from purple design paper from the Floral-graph rainbow petite prints from Doodlebug. I glued the design paper on the card. I have made and printed the sentiment on the computer and then I have die-cut it with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies and then I adhered it with foamtape on the card. I adhered the ghost also with foamtape above the sentiment. I have die-cut a couple of tiny hearts with the Lots of hearts - Creative cuts from Mama elephant and added those around the sentiment. I added glossy accents on the hearts. I added 3 little white hotfix gems in the left upper corner.

I had some hearts left over that I have die-cut from the design paper and I glued those on the inside of the card.

I want to enter this card in the following challenges:

Di's digi designs challenge - Include a sentiment

Today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog and this time we have a simple challenge: we want you to include a sentiment on your card, very easy!
I have made a card with the image Penguins christmas tower from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut the image. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 from Crealies I have die-cut a rectangle from white cardstock and I coloured it with Broken china Distress ink. I glued the rectangle with foamtape on my card and then I stamped a sentiment from the set Hippo christmas from Clearly besotted stamps on the card. I have die-cut a couple of stars with the Lots of stars - Creative cuts from Mama elephant and glued those on the background. I have applied Fresh snowfall - Glitter accents from Nuvo on the image and I also made some dots on the background with it.

I decided to make a second card with the same image. This time I coloured the Penguins christmas tower from Di's digi stamps with pink as the main colour. Again I used my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen to colour the image. On the image I applied Distress stickles dry glitter - Clear rock candy from Ranger. On a white card I made a snowy background with the Snow flakes stencil PS8012 from Marianne design and Modeling paste from Dutch doobadoo. I have coloured the sky very lightly with Broken china distress ink. In the left upper corner I stamped a sentiment from the set Just saying from Clearly besotted stamps and then I embossed it with clear embossingpowder.

As you like it challenge 143 - Monochrome or rainbow

As you like it challenge blog.

Today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog. This time we want to see cards with monochrome or rainbow colours. I really love bright colours and the look of the rainbow colours, so I used those on my card. I love how the colours match with each other.

This time I made a card with a digital stamp from a company that is unfortunately closed down and I don't like that at all! These are the Large christmas pups from The digistamp boutique (closed). I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I added dots on the cheeks of the pups with a white gelpen. I then have fussy cut the image. Under the sentiment I stamped a sentiment from the set Cooler with you from My favorite things. I glued the image with foamtape on a dark blue card. Above the image I glued a couple of white star stickers.

I want to enter this card in the following challenges:

Gerda Steiner designs - Beary grateful

Today I am on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs with a nice and sweet box. On the box I used the image Beary grateful from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have cut the box with the Silhouette cameo from white cardstock. On the lid of the box I glued a layer of orange cardstock. I have die-cut a grass border with the Grassy fields die-namics from My favorite things from white cardstock and then I coloured it with Mowed lawn distress ink. On another piece of white cardstock I made a background with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. I have die-cut the word thanks after I glued everything on the box. I have die-cut it from orange cardstock with the Little lowercase letters die-namics from My favorite things. I glued the word with foamtape on the box. I coloured the letters with the Clear spectrum noir sparkle pen and then I applied Glossy accents on the letters. I have die-cut a couple of little flowers from orange cardstock and decorated those with a tiny black hotfix gem.

I used double sided cardstock for the box. One side is white and the other side is black. So the inside of my box is black and that is perfect for my white chocolate pumpkins. ;) Inside the box I made 6 little holes for the chocolates.

My favorite things - We want to wish you a merry christmas

On top of this background I stamped a couple of images and a sentiment from the stampset Tweet holidays from My favorite things. I stamped everything with Milk chocolate premium dye ink from My favorite things. I love this ink, because it gives the images a soft look. Then I coloured all the images with my Polychromos pencils. I used a really sharp dark brown pencil to colour the eyes of the birds, because I wanted them to pop.

Winnie & Walter - Warm winter wishes

Today I made a christmas card with the stampset Seasons's tweetings from Winnie & Walter. On a tiny card (10 by 10 cm) I stamped a couple of images and a sentiment from this set. Because I used masking paper, I could make a one-layer card. Although it isn't watercolour cardstock I have decided to colour the images with my Derwent aquatone pencil(discontinued) and it went very well. To add a little bit of depth on the images I decided to colour parts of the images with my Polychromos pencils. I have coloured the eyes of the penguin with the black glaze pen. I think every cards needs some sparkle, so I also coloured on my card with the Spectrum noir sparkle clear pen. I also have added Glitter accents - Fresh snowfall from Nuvo on the tree.

Di's digi designs challenge - Buttons, bows and bling

Deze keer is onze challenge Buttons, bows and bling, oftewel knoopjes, strikjes and bling bling.
