Abraham kaartje

Goedemorgen, vandaag heb ik een verjaardagskaartje voor een Abraham om te laten zien. De geweldige stempel die ik hiervoor heb gebruikt is Cockatoo rules van de Papershelter. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en op de zonnebril heb ik nog gekleurd met een clear glaze pen, maar dat is haast niet te zien. Ik heb het woord Abraham gemaakt met het Katie alfabet van Quickutz. Met de computer heb ik het rondje met daarop de tekst proficiat gemaakt en deze heb ik daarna uitgeponst. Rondom het vlak met de afbeelding heb ik een zwart touwtje gebonden en daar bovenop heb ik de afbeelding geplakt. Op de kaart heb ik rood ruitjespapier geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I have a birthdaycard for someone who is turning 50 to show you today. The fabulous stamp that I used on this card is Cockatoo rules from Papershelter. I colored the image with my pencils and on the sunglasses I colored with a clear glaze pen, but you can barely see that on the picture. I made the word Abraham (Man who turn 50 are called Abraham in Dutch, women are called Sarah) with the Katie alphabet from quickutz. On the computer I made the sentiment circle (congratulations) and I punched it with a circle punch. I wrapped a black yarn around the image panel and adhered the sentiment circle on top of it. I used red design paper on the card.

Goedemiddag, vandaag heb ik een kaartje gemaakt voor een Abraham. Ik ben al heel lang op zoek naar leuke afbeeldingen hiervoor en deze kikker vond ik er wel leuk voor. De kikker is een digitale stempel van I brake for digi's en ik heb zelf het label van de fles aangepast door er een 50 op te typen. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding op zwart papier geplakt.De tekst heb ik met de computer gemaakt en onder de afbeelding geplakt. Op een witte kaart heb ik rood gestreept papier geplakt. Het woord abraham is gemaakt met het Moxie alfabet van quickutz.

Hello everyone, today I am showing you a card that I made for someone who is celebrating his 50th birthday. I have been looking for a while for some nice images and I finally found this frog and I think it is perfect for the occasion. The frog is a digital stamp from I brake for digi's and I changed the label on the bottle, because I added the 50 on it. I have coloured the image with my pencils and attached it on a layer of black paper. The sentiment is made with the computer and I adhere it under the image. On a white card I used a layer or red and white striped paper. The word Abraham is made with the moxie alphabet from quickutz.

Less is more challenge - Masculin cards

Hallo! Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt voor de nieuwste challenge van de Less is more Challenge blog. Deze week is het de bedoeling om een clean and simpel kaartje te maken voor een man. Op mijn kaart heb ik gebruik gemaakt van een achtergrond stempel van Darkroom door. Ik heb de Weathered stripes gestempeld met blauwe inkt van vivid. Ik heb dit rechthoek op donker blauw karton geplakt. Uit wit en blauw papier heb ik 2 cirkels gesneden met mijn nestabilities. Hierop heb ik een 50 geplakt , die ik heb gemaakt met het banana split alfabet van quickutz. Onder de afbeelding heb ik een strip rood papier geplakt. Met een vierkant ponsje heb ik er een banner van gemaakt. Op de banner heb ik 2 zilveren hotfix steentjes geplakt. De tekst is op de kaart geprint.

Hello! I made this card for the new challenge from the Less is more Challenge blog. This week you have to make a clean and simple card for a man. I used a background stamp from Darkroom door. I stamped the weathered stripes with blue ink from vivid. I adhered this rectangle on a dark blue rectangle. I have cut 2 circles from white and blue paper with the circle nestabilities. I added the 50 on top of it. I used the Banana split alphabet from quickutz for the numbers. I added a strip of red paper and made a banner from it with à square punch. I adhered some silver hotfix stones on the banner. The sentiment (happy birthday) on the card.

Tiddly Inks - Hipster hoot

Hallo! Vandaag laat ik een kaartje zien met een afbeelding die Christy Croll van Tiddly Inks op mijn speciaal verzoek heeft getekend. Ik wilde heel graag een afbeelding die ik kan gebruiken voor een mannenkaart van een deftig dier en dat is deze uil geworden. Echt perfect! :) Ik heb de uil samen met de tekst ernaast geprint. Ik heb de uil ingekleurd met potloden en op zijn jasje heb ik met een witte gelpen streepjeslijnen getekend om een krijtstreep effect te krijgen. Langs de randen van de afbeelding heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een stiklijntje getekend. Als basis heb ik een rode kaart genomen en daarop heb ik zwart gestreept papier geplakt. Op de rode strip heb ik met het Katie alfabet van quikcutz het woord Abraham gemaakt en ook de cijfers zijn gemaakt met het Katie alfabet.

Hello! Today I am showing you a card with an image that Christy Croll from Tiddly inks has drawn for me. I requested an image that I could use on a card for a man and I wanted it to be a real gentleman and this is the image she has drawn, a fabulous owl! He is so perfect! :) I printed the owl together with the sentiment (Happy birthday). I coloured the owl with my pencils and used a white gelpen for a striped effect on his coat. I made the faux stitching with a black fineliner. Used a red card and added a layer of black striped paper. On the red strip of paper I made the word Abraham with the Katie alphabet from quikcutz. I also made the "50" with the Katie alphabet.

De tweede schuifkaart uit HJ 67

Goedemorgen, dit is de tweede schuifkaart die ik heb gemaakt voor Hobbyjournaal 67. Deze kaart is voor een Sarah gemaakt. Deze geweldige struisvogel is hier perfect voor! De digitale stempel is getekend door Chrissy Armstrong voor Squigglefly. De hoes is gemaakt van rose papicolor papier en daarop heb ik zwart-wit gestipt papier geplakt. Met de ronde nestabilities heb ik de gaten gemaakt en daarom heen zit weer een rose kadertje geplakt. Het woord Sarah en de 50 is gemaakt met het Rollerskate alfabet van quickutz. Met een witte gelpen heb ik stipjes op de letter getekend. De bloemetjes zijn gemaakt met retro ponsen en in het midden heb ik zwarte cabochons geplakt.

Goodmorning, this is the second card that I have made for the Dutch magazine Hobbyjournaal. This cad was made for someone's 50th birthday. This fabulous ostrich is perfect for it! Chrissy Armstrong has made this awesome stamp for Squigglefly. The pocket is made from pink papicolor paper and I mounted black and white dotted paper on top of it. I made the 2 holes with the circle nestabilities and I added pink frames around them. The word Sarah and the 50 are made with the rollerskate alphabet from quikutz. I used a white gelpen to draw little dots on the letters. The flowers are made with a retro punch and I added black cabochons.

Langs de boven- en onderkant van de kaart heb ik een zwart-wit gestreept randje geplakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik er een stiklijntje bij getekend. De struisvogel is ingekleurd met kleurpotloden. Ik heb rose hotfix steentjes gebruikt om de struisvogel een echte parelketting te geven.

I added black and white striped paper on the top and bottom of the card. I used a black fineliner to make a stitching line. I coloured the ostrich with my pencils. I gave the ostrich a pearl necklace with pink hotfix stones.

Papertake weekly - Mooseical genius

Goedemiddag allemaal! Afgelopen week heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt voor de challenge van Papertake weekly. Deze week hebben ze een leuke sketch die je moet volgen. Ik heb mijn kaartje gemaakt met deze geweldige digistempel van Crissy Armstrong. Je kunt hem kopen bij Squigglefly. Mooseical genius is ingekleurd met derwent en koh-i-noor potloden. Ik heb de zonnebril van de moose gekleurd met een pitchblack spica glitter pen. De ogen en de knopjes op de gitaar zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met mijn rechthoekige nestabilities. Rondom de afbeelding heb ik met een zwarte fineliner de stiklijntjes getekend. De oranje geruite achtergrond is geprint op mijn kaart. Ik heb er een strook zwart karton overheen geplakt. In de hoekjes van het oranje vlak heb ik zwarte cabochons geplakt. De tekst is geprint en de 50 is gemaakt met het Rollerskate alfabet van quickutz.

Hello everyone! I have made this card last week for the challenge of Papertake weekly. This week they have a great sketch you have to follow. I have used this amazing digistamp from Crissy Armstrong on my card. You can buy it in the squigglefly shop. Mooseical genius was coloured with derwent and koh-i-noor pencils. I have coloured his sunglasses with a pitch black spica glitter pen. The eyes and the buttons on the gitar are all coloured with a black glaze pen. I have cut the image out with my rectangle nestabilities. On the edges of the rectangle I have drawn the faux stitching with a black fineliner. The orange background was printed on a white card. In the corners I added black cabochons. The sentiment (congratulations) was printed and the 50 was made with the Rollerskate alphabet from Quickutz.

Mojo Monday met Oswalda

Afgelopen week heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt voor de sketch challenge van Mojo Monday. Ik heb een digistempel van Chrissy Armstrong gebruikt. Deze digitale stempels zijn verkrijgbaar bij Squigglefly. Ik heb voor dit kaartje Oswalda goes shopping gebruikt. Ik moest een kaartje maken voor iemand die 50 wordt en ik vond dit wel een leuke afbeelding ervoor. Ik heb Oswalda ingekleurd met mijn kleurpotloden. Op haar ketting en hoed heb ik wat gekleurd met de clear spica glitter pen. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met rechthoekige nestabilities. Op een witte kaart heb ik de zwarte strepen geprint. Onderaan zit een stukje cardstock van Bazzil waarop ik de tekst van Doe Maar Creatief heb gestempeld. Het cirkeltje is ook uitgesneden met nestabilities. Met het Moxie alfabet van quickutz heb ik de 50 gemaakt. Van het zwart-wit geruite lint heb ik een strikje gemaakt en dit hangt bovenop het rondje.

Last week I made this card for this weeks sketch of the Mojo monday blog. I used a digital stamp from Chrissy Armstrong. These digital stamps are available at Squigglefly. On my card I used the image Oswalda goes shopping. I needed a card for someone who is celebrating her 50th birthday and I think Oswalda is perfect for her. I coloured the ostrich with my pencils. I added some glitter with the clear spica glitter pen on her necklace and her hat. The image was cut out with the rectangle nestabilities. I printed the black stripes on a white card. I added a piece of Bazzil cardstock and stamped my sentiment on it. The circle was made with the nestabilities. I used the moxie alphabet for the 50 on it. I made a bow from black and white gingham ribbon.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp 22 - Punches and diecuts

Hallo allemaal. Het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge van Dare U 2 Digi Stamp. Deze week moet je op je kaartje ponsjes of diecuts gebruiken naast een digitale stempel natuurlijk! Op mijn kaartje heb ik de geweldige afbeelding van een dansend stokstaartje gebruikt van Sandra Dry. Neem vooral eens een kijkje op haar blog, naast deze leuke stokstaartjes heeft ze nu ook een geweldige serie Roch chix. Ik vond mijn stokstaart perfect voor een kaartje voor een abraham die ik moest maken. Ik heb het stokstaartje ingekleurd met koh-i-noor potloden. Zijn neus en ogen heb ik gekleurd met derwent potloden. Op de zwarte delen van zijn kleren heb ik gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Ik heb de tekst 50 jaar gemaakt met het moxie alfabet van quickutz. Rondom de kaart heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een streepjeslijn gezet.

I used this amazing dancing meerkat from Sandra Dry on my card. Please visit her blog. Next to these cute meerkats she has now a fabulous new collection: the Rock chix. I thought my meerkat was perfect for a card that I had to make for someone's 50 th birthday. I coloured the meerkat with koh-i-noor pencils. I coloured his eyes and nose with a black glaze pen. The black parts of his clothes were coloured with a clear spica glitter pen. I used the moxie alphabet from Quickutz to create the 50 jaar (50 years) on my card. I did some faux stitching with a black fineliner.

Na een kaart voor een Sarah, kan natuurlijk Abraham niet achterblijven. Door dit vrolijke papiertje wordt hij heel kleurig en vrolijk.

When I had finished my card for a 50 year old woman, I also wanted to make a card for a man who becomes 50 years old. The nice backgroundpaper makes the card very colorfull and sparkling!

Sarah

Kaarten maken voor iemand die 50 wordt, valt vaak niet mee (vind ik dan). De plaatjes die je in winkels kunt vinden zijn vaak te ouderwets vind ik. Maar soms vind je toch ineens iets en dan wordt zo'n Sarah kaartje toch gewoon erg vrolijk en leuk. Ik vond deze Cosmobella perfect voor een kaartje voor een Sarah. Lekker modern! Het inkleuren ging gelukkig erg goed en door nog wat glittertjes toe te voegen, is het wat mij betreft een heel vrolijk kaartje geworden!

Making cards for someone who is going to be 50 years old, is sometimes very difficult. In the shops there are only oldfashioned pictures, I think. But sometimes you get lucky and you find the perfect picture for such a card and then your card is a very nice one! I thought this Cosmobella was perfect for a 50 year old woman! Really modern. The colouring with my aquarel pencils went very well and I added some sparkles!
