Di's digi designs challenge - Include an animal

Goodmorning, this is day 23 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag post ik een kaartje dat ik heb gemaakt voor de nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog. Deze keer willen we graag een dier op je kaartje zien.
Voor deze challenge heb ik een heel speciaal kaartje gemaakt. Mijn tante gaat namelijk de aankomende week ergens oma worden, want mijn neef en zijn vriendin verwachten een kindje. Ze vroeg me of ik voor haar een kaartje wilde maken en dit is het kaartje. :) Op het kaartje heb ik de digitale stempel Butterfly ted van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een stukje wit karton heb ik met Tumbled glass en Mowed lawn distress inkt een achtergrond voor de afbeelding gemaakt. Met de Scalloped edges die collection van Clearly besotted (retired) heb ik uit geel gestreept design papier van het Proper pinstripes paper pack van My favorite things een randje gestanst en deze heb ik onder het witte karton geplakt. Ik heb de hoeken van het witte karton afgerond met de Corner chomper. Ik heb het geheel op een kraft kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen op de kaart geplakt. De onderkant is nu nog een beetje kaal, maar daar zal ik straks als de kleine meid geboren is, haar naam nog toevoegen. Die is nu nog even geheim, dus dat kon nog niet. ;)

Today I am posting a card that I made for the newest challenge on the Di's digi designs challenge blog. This time we want you to include an animal on your card. 

I have made a really special card for this challenge. My aunt will become a grandmother this week, because my cousin and his girlfriend are expecting a baby. My aunt asked me to make her a card for the little girl. ;) On the card I used the digital stamp Butterfly ted from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. Then I have fussy cut the image. On a piece of white cardstock I made a background for the image with Tumbled glass and Mowed lawn distress ink. With the Scalloped edges die collection from Clearly besotted (retired) I have die-cut a scalloped border from yellow striped design paper from the Proper pinstripes paper pack from My favorite things. I glued it under the white cardstock. I have made the right corners round with the Corner chomper. I have glued everything with foamtape on a kraft card. I glued all the images with foamtape on the card. The bottom half of the card is a bit empty, but I will add the name of the baby under the image when the baby is born. Now it is still a secret. ;)
