As you like it 144 - Rubber or digi

Goodmorning, this is day 22 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag is het weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag zien waar je liever mee werkt: een rubber/clear stempel of een digitale stempel. Ik hou ervan om zowel met rubber stempels als digitale stempels te werken. Beide producten hebben hun eigen voordelen. Ik hou ervan dat ik met rubber en clear stempels ervoor kan kiezen om mijn afbeelding te embossen, waardoor het werken met aquarelverf net iets makkelijker wordt. Het grote voordeel van digitale stempels is dat je zelf heel makkelijk kunt bepalen hoe groot je de afbeelding print. Je kunt ook heel makkelijk de afbeelding spiegelen waardoor deze soms net beter op je kaartje past. En nog een heel fijn voorbeeld: ze kosten bijna geen ruimte met opruimen. Daarom heb ik op dit kaartje voor een digitale stempel gekozen. Voor teksten gebruik ik bijna altijd rubber of clear stempels. Die kan je gewoon makkelijk achteraf uitzoeken als je kaartje bijna af is en dan nog er even bij stempelen.

Op mijn kaartje van vandaag heb ik de digitale stempel Mice making snowman van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een witte kaart heb ik een strip roze ruitjespapier van het Graphic grid paperpack van My favorite things geplakt. Op een stuk wit karton heb ik daarna met Peacock feathers distress inkt een achtergrond voor mijn afbeelding gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op het witte karton geplakt.In de rechter bovenhoek heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Polar peek-a-boo pals van Avery elle gestempeld. Met Peacock feathers distress inkt heb ik daarna nog een aantal keer een sneeuwsterretje uit dezelfde stempelset rondom de afbeelding gestempeld. Nadat ik het witte karton met de afbeelding op de kaart heb geplakt met foamtape, heb ik met een ponsje de onderste hoeken van de kaart afgerond. 

Today it is time again for a new challenge on the As you like it challenge blog and this we want to know what you prefer to work with: Rubber/clear stamps or digital stamps. I love working with both kinds of stamps. Both products have their own advantages. I love that when I use a rubber or clear stamp that I can embos my image, which makes watercolouring my image so much more simple. The big advantage of digital stamps is that you can decide yourself what size you want to print your image. I also love it, that you can easily mirror an image, because sometimes that looks better on a card. Another very nice advantage: they don't take much room to store! Because of these reasons I have picked a digital stamp for my card today. For my sentiments is almost always use a rubber or clear stamp. They are really easy to stamp on your project when you are almost done with your card. 

On my card I used the digital stamp Mice making snowman from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and then I have fussy cut the image. I glued a strip of pink design paper from the Graphic grid paperpack from My favorite things on the bottom of a white card. On another piece of white cardstock I then made a background for the image with Peacock feathers distress ink. I glued the image with foamtape on the white cardstock. In the right upper corner I stamped a sentiment from the set Polar peek-a-boo pals from Avery elle. With Peacock feathers distress ink I stamped a couple of snowflakes around the image. I glued the white cardstock with the image with foamtape on my card and then I used a punch to round the bottom corners.
