In the old days......

Long before I started making cards, I was always crafting together with my mother. We did so many different things. About 15 years ago we had a period in which we made babyshoes. We got the pattern out of a magazine and my mother made the first pair of shoes. She was always sewing and that was one thing I didn't do, but when I saw the shoes I also wanted to make some. We made many pairs. I needed a little present for a babygirl now and it braught all the memories back. We searched and found this set of shoes. Aren't they cute? Perfect as a little present. But I can't just give a pair of shoes now, I thought they needed a matching shoebox....:)

This is the lid of the box. Again I used another cute baby stamp from Eline Pellinkhof and coloured it with derwent and caran d'ache pencils. I cut the image out with oval nestabilities. I coloured the eyes with a black glaze pen and the dots on the cheeks are drawn with a white gelepen. On the baby's hat I attached a little flower and a hotfix stone on top of it. For the lid I have chosen for a dotted background. I wrote the name of the baby with the phoebe alphabet from quickutz. I also used a flower ribbon.

The rest of the box was made of a striped paper. I used some grosgrain ribbon on the lit and made a little bow
