Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lili of the valley. Deze challenge willen we graag weten of je liever eenvoudige kaarten maakt of juist drukke kaarten met veel versieringen. Ik ben erg fan van eenvoudige kaarten. Ik vind het belangrijk om de afbeelding de hoofdrol te laten spelen en ik gebruik meestal niet veel versieringen en als ik dat doe, dan zijn ze meestal klein en vrij plat.
Ik heb ook vandaag weer een verjaardagskaart voor mijn moeder gemaakt en deze keer heb ik één van de afbeeldingen van de stempelset Spring awakens colourful crocus van Studio EELZ op aquarel papier gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met mijn Derwent inktense potloden. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 169 van Crealies en daarna heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Handletter - Huwelijk van Craft emotions (no longer in business) naast de afbeelding gestempeld. Ik heb het rechthoek met de afbeelding met foamtape op een paarse kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes.
Hello, today a new challenge is starting over on the As you like it challenge blog , and this time we’re sponsored by Lili of the valley For this challenge, we’d like to know whether you prefer to make simple cards or more elaborate ones with lots of embellishments. I’m definitely a fan of simple cards. I think it’s important to let the image take centre stage, and I usually don’t use many embellishments—if I do, they tend to be small and fairly flat.
Today I’ve also made another birthday card for my mum. This time, I stamped one of the images from the Spring awakens colourful crocus from Studio EELZ onto watercolour paper. I then coloured the image using my Derwent inktense pencils. After that, I die-cut the image using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 169 from Crealies, and stamped a sentiment from the Handletter – Huwelijk stamp set by Craft Emotions (no longer in business) next to the image. I attached the rectangle with the image to a purple card using foam tape and finished the card with a few black hotfix gems.
