Tuesday sketches met Edwin.

Hallo!

Hello! Today I made this christmas card. I have tried to follow the fabulous sketch from the Tuesday morning sketchers, the only thing that I changed is that I didn't place my image in the middle of the card. The image I used is Edwin from the Magnolia fall kit 2010. I have coloured him with derwent and prisma pencils. His eyes are coloured with a black glaze pen and the dots on his cheeks are made with a white gelpen. I used light kraft paper from Elzybells for my card. I added a layer of dark red papicolor paper on top of it. The design paper I used is from the So jolly collection from Magnolia from last year. I used the scalloped sentiment punch to punch a border from the dark red paper and added light kraft paper on top of it. The sentiment is stamped with brown ink and it is from the stampset Doodle holidays from Inkadinkado. I stamped some snowstars from the same stamp set on the circle and used the brown ink to colour the edges of the circle. The flowers are made with the ponsettia mini die from Marianne Design
