Tuesday sketches met Edwin.

Hallo! Vandaag heb ik deze kersttkaart gemaakt. Ik heb geprobeerd de sketch can de Tuesday morning sketches blog te volgen, mijn afbeelding zit alleen niet helemaal in het midden zoals op de sketch. De afbeelding die ik heb gebruikt is van Edwin uit de herfstkit 2010 van Magnolia. Ik heb hem ingekleurd met derwent en prisma potloden. Zijn ogen zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen en de stippen op zijn wangen zijn gemaakt met een witte gelpen. Als basis heb ik een kaart genomen van light kraft papier van Elzybells, daarop zit een laag donkerrood papier van Papicolor. Het design papier dat ik heb gebuikt is van vorig jaar van Magnolia uit de So jolly collectie: wrapped. Ik heb met de scalloped sentiment pons van Fiskars een randje geponst uit het rode papier en daaroverheen zit een een strip kraft papier. De tekst is gestempeld met bruine inkt en het is stempel uit de set Doodle Holidays van Inkadinkado. Op de cirkel heb ik sneeuwsterretjes gestempeld die uit dezelfde set komen en de randen heb ik bewerkt met de bruine inkt. De bloemetjes in de hoek zijn gemaakt met de poinsettia mini die van Marianne Design.

Hello! Today I made this christmas card. I have tried to follow the fabulous sketch from the Tuesday morning sketchers, the only thing that I changed is that I didn't place my image in the middle of the card. The image I used is Edwin from the Magnolia fall kit 2010. I have coloured him with derwent and prisma pencils. His eyes are coloured with a black glaze pen and the dots on his cheeks are made with a white gelpen. I used light kraft paper from Elzybells for my card. I added a layer of dark red papicolor paper on top of it. The design paper I used is from the So jolly collection from Magnolia from last year. I used the scalloped sentiment punch to punch a border from the dark red paper and added light kraft paper on top of it. The sentiment is stamped with brown ink and it is from the stampset Doodle holidays from Inkadinkado. I stamped some snowstars from the same stamp set on the circle and used the brown ink to colour the edges of the circle. The flowers are made with the ponsettia mini die from Marianne Design.
