Tiddly inks - Christmas card & Softpencil - Sweet sailors

Goedemorgen!

Goodmorning! Today we have another fun challenge for you at the Tiddly Inks challenge blog. This week we want to see christmas cards. Not so hard because Christy has a lot of cute christmas images in her shop. I have made my card with the very cute image: Christmas pixie. I coloured her with my prisma pencils and her eyes are coloured with a black glaze pen. I added glitter on her holly wings. I added the glitter only on the lines/edges of her wings. I saw something like this on my friend Angela's blog and I loved it! I used the gorgeous sketch from Truly scrumptious for my card, the only thing I did was turn it around, because that was better for my image. I used the apron lace punch from fiskars for the border next to my image. The very sweet holly paper is from Nel van Veen. The sentiment is a stamp from Lili of the Valley and I used my nestabilities to cut it out. I hope you all will join our challenge! One lucky person can win a voucher for the Tiddly Inks digitals shop!

The Softpencil design team has worked with the cute image Sweet sailors this week. I have followed the sketch from the Cute card Thursday blog for my card. I have coloured the image with my pencils and the eyes and buttons on the anchor were coloured with a black glaze pen. I have cut the image out. I used a dark blue card and added 3 strips of red striped paper on top of it. I used a blue fineliner to draw the faux stitching. The sentiment (have a nice day) is a stamp from Stamping Bella that you ca purchase from Cardart. The blue strip of paper was punched with the scalloped sentiment punch from fiskars. I punched 3 flowers with a retro flower punch and added a punched dot from dark blue paper.

I also decorated the inside of the card. I used two strips of red striped paper and printed the image in blue on top of it.
