Sketch saturday

Gisteren heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt voor de nieuwe challenge op de Sketch saturday blog. Op mijn kaartje heb ik een afdrukje gebruikt van Penny Black die ik via mijn lieve blogvriendin Sue heb gekregen. Ik heb gekleurd met derwent potloden. Tijdens het kleuren ging er iets niet helemaal goed, dus ik moest het afdrukje daarna uitknippen. Ik heb het met foamtape op een rechthoek van wit linnen papier geplakt. Deze rechthoek heb ik eerst geëmbost met een nieuwe cuttlebug embossing folder: Snowflakes. Op de sneeuw en de sneeuwvlokken heb ik glitter aangebracht. Met zwart lint heb ik een kadertje om de afbeelding geplakt. Op een witte kaart heb ik de rode strepen achtergrond geprint. Met de cirkel nestabilities heb ik de rode cirkels en de cirkel waarop de tekst gestempeld staat uitgestanst. Ik heb daarna nog wat sneeuwvlokken rondom gestempeld.

Yesterday I made this card for the new challenge on the sketch saturday blog. I used a stamped image from Penny Black that my lovely blogfriend Sue has given to me. I coloured the image with derwent pencils, but I made a little oopsie while colouring. So I had to cut the image out and used foamtape to mount it on a white rectangle. I embossed the rectangle first with my new cuttlebug embossing folder: Snowflakes. I added glitter on the snow on the image and on the embossed snowflakes. I used black ribbon to make the frame. On a white card I printed the red background. I made the red circles and the circle with the sentiment with my nestabilities. I also stamped some snowflakes randomly on the card.

Friday sketchers

Gisteravond heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt met de leuke sketch van de de Friday sketchers blog. Ik heb op mijn kaartje één van de geweldige lieve nieuwe kerststempels van Eline Pellinkhof gebruikt. Ik was weer meteen verliefd op deze nieuwe serie. Zulke schatjes! Ik heb het lieve meisje gekleurd met derwent potloden en wilde niet de traditionele kerstkleuren gebruiken en dus heb ik voor paars gekozen. Haar oogjes zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen en op de bontrandjes langs haar muts en kleertjes heb ik glitter gebruikt. De afbeelding heb ik uitgesneden met nestabilities. Op een witte kaart heb ik de achtergrond geprint. Deze is van Pink Petticoat. De witte strip is geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Het tekststempeltje is van Lily of the valley.

Yesterday I made this card with the lovely sketch from the friday sketchers blog. On my card I used one of the new very cute stamps from Eline Pellinkhof. I just love these little cuties! I coloured the sweet girl with derwent pencils and I didn't want to use the traditional christmas colours for her, so I coloured her clothes purple. Her eyes are coloured with a black glaze pen and I added some glitter on her clothes and hat. The image was cut out with the rectangle nestabilities. I printed the background on a white card. It is from Pink Petticoat. The white strip was embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. The sentiment is a stamp from Lily of the valley.

Nieuw huis

Een tijdje geleden al had ik deze geweldige stempel van een cottage besteld bij de Craft Barn. Hij is getekend door mijn blogvriendin Chris Dark en natuurlijk perfect voor nieuw huis kaarten. Ik ga in december mijn kaarten verkopen op een kerstmarkt en ben al druk bezig om een voorraadje aan te leggen en afgelopen week ben ik een flink aan de gang gegaan met de cottage. Ze zijn niet heel erg verschillend, maar ik kon gewoon niet kiezen welke kleur ik wilde gebruiken, dus daarom heb ik maar een heleboel kleurtjes gebruikt. :) De eerste kaart is gestempeld met donkerbruine inkt en daaroverheen heb ik clear embossing poeder gegooid. Het bruine papier was de perfecte kleur erbij. Het papier is denk ik al zo'n 20 a 25 jaar geleden door mijn neven uit een container gehaald en ik heb er nog steeds wat van over. :) Nu heb ik het toch eindelijk maar eens gebruikt. ;)

A while ago I ordered this great stamp of a cottage from the Craft Barn. It has been drawn by my blogfriend Chris Dark and perfect for new home cards. In december I am going to sell my cards at a christmas fair, so I need to make a lot of cards. So this week I made a few new home cards with the lovely cottage from Chris. They aren't really different, but I just loved the different colours, that I used them all. :) The first card was stamped with dark brown ink and I added clear embossing powder. The brown paper was a perfect match. My cousins found the paper about 20 or even 25 years ago outside in a container and I still have some of the paper. :) Now I finally used some of it. ;)


Dit tweede kaartje is met groene inkt en clear embossing poeder gemaakt. Het papier is weer papier dat destijds uit de container is gehaald.

This second card was stamped with green ink and again I used the clear embossing powder. The green paper is paper that was found in the container.

Dit derde kaartje komt helaas niet mooi over op de foto. De cottage is gestempeld met donkerblauwe inkt en weer heb ik clear embossing poeder gebruikt. Hierdoor krijgt de afbeelding net een mooie glans. Dat paste weer perfect bij dit blauwe parelmoer papier. Ik heb de stempel uitgeknipt en met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. De tekst is met het phoebe alfabet van quickutz gemaakt. De witte strepen zijn heel dunne stripjes papier.

This thirth card doesn't look good on the picture. In real it is so lovely. The cottage was stamped with dark blue ink and again I used clear embossing powder. The image gets a nice sparkle this way. I cut it out and used foamtape to mount it on the dark blue card. The paper also has a sparkle and it matches really well with the ink. The sentiment (a new home) was made with the phoebe alphabet from quickutz. The white lines are really thin paper strips.

De laatste kaart is gemaakt van donkerblauw papicolor papier. Ik heb gestempeld met Versamark inkt en daarna heb ik witte embossing poeder gebruikt. De tekst is gemaakt met letterstickers.

The last card was made from Dark blue papicolor paper. I stamped with Versamark ink and then I used white embossing powder. The sentiment was made with letter peel offs.

Eenvoudig notitieblokje

Afgelopen week ben ik gezellig naar de knotsgekke kaarten dagen geweest in Den Bosch. Daar heb ik nog een paar notitieblokjes gekocht die je kunt versieren. Dit is de eerste die ik heb "gepimpt". Ik heb hem vrij eenvoudig gehouden. Ik heb het achtergrond papiertje geprint en dat op de buitenkant van het notitieblokje geplakt. Daarna heb ik deze lieve afbeelding van Elzybells gestempeld en ingekleurd. De bloemetjes heb ik nog eens gestempeld op een reststukje van het achtergrondpapier. Deze heb ik uitgeknipt en op de bloemetjes geplakt. Na het kleuren heb ik de stempel uitgeknipt en met foamtape op het notitieblokje geplakt. Met het Moxie alfabet van quickutz heb ik het woord notebook gemaakt en dat ook op het blokje geplakt. De zwarte randjes zijn stickers.

Last week I have been to a nice craft fair in Den Bosch. I bought a couple of notebooks over there that you can decorate. This is my forst one that I decorated. I kept it very simple. I printed my background paper and glued it on the outside of the notebook. Then I stamped this sweet image from Elzybells. I stamped the flowers again on the background paper. Then i cut them out and glued them on top of the flowers. After I was done with the colouring, I cut the stamped image and used foamtape to mount it on the notebook. I made the word notebook with the moxia alphabet from quickutz. The black lines are peel offs.

Hobbyjournaal 55

Goedemorgen allemaal. Deze maand heb ik weer een projectje gemaakt voor in de nieuwe Hobbyjournaal nummer 55. Deze keer heb ik wijnzakken versierd en daarbij heb ik passende schortjes gemaakt die je om de fles kan hangen. De blauwe wijnzak heb ik bij de supermarkt gevonden en de gestreepte bruine zak heb ik zelf gemaakt van wat steviger cadeau papier.

Goodmorning everyone. This month I have made a project for the new Hobbyjournaal ( a Dutch crafting magazine. This time I decorated packages for wine bottles and I made matching aprons which you can hang on your wine bottle. I got the blue one from a store and I made the brown one myself from some wrapping paper.


Ik heb met bruine inkt de stempel van Stampendous op ecru papier gestempeld en er daarna bruine embossingpoeder overheen gegoooid. De afbeelding is daarna uitgesneden met de Labels one nestabilities. Ik heb ecru lint genomen en dit in een lus gevouwen. De knoop heb ik uit het knopenlaatje van mijn moeder en past perfect bij de kleuren van de zak. De tekst is gemaakt met het phoebe alfabet van quickutz.

I stamped the image from Stampendous with brown ink on cream paper and then I used dark brown embossingpowder on top of it. The image was cut out with the Labels one nestabilities. I took some cream ribbon and folded it. The button is from my mother's button drawer. The color matches perfect with the color of the paper. I made the sentiment (thanks for the dinner) with the phoebe alphabet from quickutz.

Van witte stof heb ik het schortje gemaakt. Ik ben met bruin biasband langs de randje gegaan. Daarna heb ik met donkerbruine inkt de afbeelding gestempeld op de stof. Ook hier is de embossing poeder weer overheen gegaan. Heel voorzichtig om de stof niet te laten smelten heb ik de embossingpoeder laten smelten met de heattool. En zo heb je een heel leuk persoonlijk cadeautje.

I made the apron out of white fabric. I sewed the brown band on the edges of the apron. Then I stamped the image on the fabric with the darkbrown ink and I added also the brown embossingpowder again. I heatted it very carefully, because I didn't want the fabric to melt. This way you have such a nice personal gift.

I also made a blue gift set.

Deze keer heb ik met de silhouette eerst de tekst geprint en daarna de flessenvorm uitgesneden. De fles is versierd met strookjes blauw geruite stof. Daarna heb ik een andere afbeelding van Changito van stampendous op de fles gestempeld. Hier heb ik Polysparkle embossinpoeder van Ranger overheen gegooid, zodat de afbeelding een subtiel glittertje krijgt. Met een rode glitterpen heb ik de barbecue gekleurd en ook het tongetje van Changito. Van kurkpapier heb ik een kurk gemaakt.

This time I printed the sentiment and cut out a bottle with the help of the silhouette. The bottle was decorated with strips of blue gingham fabric. Then I stamped another image from Stampendous on it with dark blue ink, Then I used polysparkle embossingpowder on top of it, to give it a little touch of glitter. I coloured the image partially with a red glitter pen.

Voor deze fles heb ik ook schortje gemaakt. Van de blauw geruite stof heb ik de band gemaakt. Ook hier is met donkerblauw inkt gestempeld en daarna heb ik de polysparkle embossing peder gebruikt.

I made another apron for this bottle I made the band out of the blue gingham fabric. Again I stamped the image with darkblue ink and I used the polysparkle embossingpowder again.

Verjaardag

Gisteren was mijn moeder jarig en dit is het kaartje dat ik voor haar heb gemaakt. Ik heb gebruikt van een schattig muizenstempeltje van Lelo design. Eigenlijk heeft het muisje een hartje boven zijn handje, maar dat heb ik vervangen door een stempel van een cadeautje. De afbeelding is ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Met een witte gelpen heb ik stipjes gezet op de wangetjes en de zwarte glaze pen is natuurlijk weer op de oogjes gebruikt. Ook heb ik het cadeautje gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met cirkel nestabilities. Eronder zit een vierkant dat geëmbost is met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Op een kaartje heb ik de achtergrond geprint in haar favoriete tintje rose. De tekst is gestempeld met een stempel uit een setje van Stamposaurus. De bloemetjes zijn geponst en in de hartjes zitten rose hotfix steentjes.

Yesterday it was my mothers birthday and this is the card that I made for her. I used this cute mouse stamp from Lelo design. The mouse is actually holding a little heart in his hand, but I masked the stamp and stamped a little present in his hand. I coloured the image with derwent pencils. I added some dots on the cheeks with a white gelpen and the eyes were coloured with a black glaze pen. The image was cut out with the circle nestabilities. The square was embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. I printed the background on a white card in her favorite colour pink. The sentiment was stamped with a stamp from Stamposaurus. The flowers are made with punches and I added pink hotfix stones.

Ik heb de binnenkant van de kaart ook versierd. De cadeautjes komen uit een kerststempelsetje van Love Elsie. De cadeautjes zijn ook perfect voor een verjaardagskaart, dus dat kwam mooi uit. Ik heb de stempel gemaskerd en de andere cadeautjes erbij gestempeld. Ze zijn ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Met een zwarte gelpen heb ik de streepjes lijn gezet. Bovenin heb ik ook een streepjeslijn getrokken en de tekst nog eens gestempeld.

I also decorated the inside of the card. The little present stamps are from a christmas stamp set from Love Elsie. They are also perfect for a birthdaycard. I masked one of the presents and stamped the other ones next to it. I coloured them with derwent pencils. I did some faux stitching with a black fineliner. I also stamped the sentiment again and also added some faux stitching over there.

DU2DS 20 - Recipe

Hoi allemaal. Vandaag zijn we alweer aan de 20e challenge van Dare U 2 Digi Stamp toe. Wow wat vliegt de tijd. Deze keer hebben we een recipe challenge. Op je kaartje moet je naast natuurlijk je digitale stempel ook nog gebruiken: 1 lintje, 2 designpapiertjes en 3 bloemetjes. Ik heb voor de verandering eens echt designer papier gebruikt, want ik heb het heus wel, maar het lukt me nooit om te gebruiken. Het lukt me gewoon niet op de een of andere manier :) Deze twee pasten leuk bij elkaar en die kwamen uit mijn bak. Ik weet helaas geen merknamen, die strookjes had ik helaas van de vellen afgesneden. Het lieve meisje is een digi stempel van Pollycraft, uit de serie Cherry kisses. Ik heb haar gekleurd met derwent en caran d'ache potloden. Ik heb ook nog gekleurd met mijn clear spica glitter pen. Het zwarte lintje heb ik vorig jaar op de knotsgekke kaartendagen gekocht waar ik gisteren ook weer ben geweest. In de 3 rose bloemetjes heb ik een hotfix nailhead geplakt. In de hoekjes van de kaart heb ik kleinere nailheads gebruikt. De tekst is van een stempelsetje van Stamposaurus.

Hi everyone. Today we are having the 20th challenge for you from Dare U 2 Digi Stamp.Wow time is flying. This time we are having a recipe challenge. On your card you also have to use, next to your digital stamp: 1 ribbon, 2 patterned papers and 3 flowers. For a change I did use some real patterned papers, because I do have them, but I just cannot find a way to use them. I am just not good at it. :) These two papers matched really nice. Unfortunately I don't know from who they are. The sweet girl is a digital image from Pollycraft, from the Cherry kisses collection. I coloured her with derwent and caran d'ache pencils. I bought the black ribbon at a fair last year. I added 3 hotfix nailheads in the hearts of the 3 pink flowers. I used some smaller nailheads in the corners of the card. The sentiment is from a stamp set from Stamposaurus.

Papertake weekly challenge 101

Zaterdag ga ik lekker barbecueën met een gezellig groepje en ik moest nog even een kaartje maken voor de gastvrouw Suzanne. Ik heb de sketch van de Papertake weekly challenge gebruikt als uitgangspunt voor mijn kaart. De stempel van de barbecuende aap van Stampendous was natuurlijk heel toepasselijk voor op de kaart. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met derwent potloden. De oogjes heb ik nog eens extra gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met de vierkante nestabilities. Daar heb ik ook de zwarte en rode vierkanten mee uitgesneden. Het zwarte vierkant is geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Op een witte kaart heb ik de zwarte streepjes achtergrond geprint. Met de quickutz heb ik het tagje uitgestanst uit rood papier en daar is de tekst op gestempeld. Met het Olivia alfabet van quickutz heb ik de naam Suzanne gemaakt.

This saturday I will be having a barbecue with some nice people and I had to make a card for our host Suzanne. I used the sketch from the Papertake weekly challenge for my card. The stamp off BBQ Changito was just perfect for my card. I coloured the image with derwent pencils. I coloured the eyes with a black glaze pen. The image was cut out with the square nestabilities. I also used them to cut the red and black square. The black square was embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. On a white card I printed the black background. I used a quickutz die to cut the little tag and stamped the sentiment on top of it. I used the Olivia alphabet for the name Suzanne.

Ashley en Quinty

Deze kaartjes heb ik gemaakt voor de tweeling van een vriendin van mij. Ze zijn het afgelopen weekend één jaar oud geworden. Ik was helaas niet op tijd met mijn kaartje, maar gelukkig had ik vandaag nog wat tijd over om iets voor ze te maken. Voor mijn kaartjes heb ik de sketch van Mojo Monday gevolgd en de geweldige afbeelding is van Mo Manning. Echt perfect voor de meiden. Ik heb de afbeelding voor één kaartje gespiegeld en hem zo bewerkt dat de één toch nog de goede kant opstaat. Ik heb de afbeeldingen gekleurd met derwent en caran d'ache potloden. De oogjes zijn nog weer eens extra gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. De jurkjes en strikjes heb ik nog eens gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Ik heb de afbeeldingen uitgesneden met cirkel nestabilities. Het vierkant eronder is geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Op het ene kaartje heb ik een rose streepjes achtergrond gebruikt en voor het andere kaartje paarse ruitjes. De namen van de meiden zijn gemaakt met het Phoebe alfabet van quickutz. Het tekststempeltje is van Stamping Bella. De foto's zijn helaas niet geweldig.

I made these cards for my friend's twins. They celebrated their first birthday last weekend. Unfortunately I wasn't on time with my cards, but today I had some time to make them a card. I followed the sketch from Mojo monday and used this fabulous image from Mo Manning for my cards. Just perfect for the girls. I mirrored one of the images and editted it a bit so the one on the cupcake was still facing the right way. I coloured the images with derwent and caran d'ache pencils. I coloured the eyes with a black glaze pen. I used a clear spica glitter pen to color the dresses and the little bows. I cut the images out with my circle nestabilities. I embossed the square with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. On one card I used a pink striped background and on the other a purple gingham background. I made the names of the girls with the phoebe alphabet from quickutz. The sentiment ( congratulations) is a stamp from Stamping Bella. Unfortunately the pictures aren't that great.

BBQ-Jim

Hi! Ik heb afgelopen week nog een tweede kaartje gemaakt naar aanleiding van de CAS challenge op Splitcoaststampers. Ik heb weer een afbeelding uit de Jim collectie van de Digistamp boutique gebruikt. Ik heb Jim ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Op een witte kaart heb ik de rode streepjes achtergrond geprint. Met de Justrite stempelset, heb ik de cirkel met tekst en de streepjesrand gestempeld. Ik heb voor een vrij eenvoudig randje gekozen, omdat het toch een mannenkaart is en die wil ik vrij simpel houden. Onder de tekstcirkel langs heb ik een rood grosgrain lintje gebruikt.

Hi! I made another card this week for the CAS challenge on Splitcoaststampers. I used another image from the Jim collection from the Digistampboutique. I coloured Jim with derwent pencils. I printed the red background on a white card. With the Justrite stampset I stamped the sentiment and the border. I used a red grosgrain ribbon under my sentiment.
