Don't break my heart!

Ik heb gisteren weer een kaartje gemaakt voor de limited supplies challenge op SCS. Het thema deze week is: Don't break my heart. Het was de bedoeling om zoveel mogelijk harten te gebruiken op je kaartje. Ik heb voor mijn kaartje een oud magnoliaatje gebruikt. Ik heb Tilda ingekleurd met derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine. De oogjes zijn nog eens extra gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Op de vleugeltjes en het grote hart zijn gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Op de wangetjes heb ik wat stipjes getekend met een witte gelpen. Ik heb als basis een witte kaart genomen en daar heb ik een rode hartjes achtergrond op geprint. Bovenaan de kaart is een rood rechthoek geplakt en daar heb ik stiekem de regels mee overtreden. Je mocht wel embossen, maar alleen iets met hartjes gebruiken. Ik heb helemaal geen embossingsmallen met hartjes dus ik heb de swiss dots genomen. Op een stukje wit papier heb ik mijn tekstje geprint en die heb ik uitgesneden met een tag uit de tiny tags set van cuttlebug. Op de tag heb ik wat geponste hartjes geplakt. Als laatste heb ik een zwart en wit lintje gebruikt.

Yesterday I made a card for the limited supplies challenge on SCS, This weeks theme is: Don't break my heart. For your card you had to use as many hearts as possible. For my card I used an old magnolia stamp. I colored Tilda with derwent pencils and OMS. I colored her eyes extra with a black glaze pen. I added some glitter on her wings and the big heart with a clear spica glitter pen. With a white gelpen I colored some dots on her cheeks. As a base I used a white card and I printed a red heart background on it. For the red rectangle I used the swiss dots embossingfolder and that's where I broke the challenge rules. :) If you were going to use an embossingfolder, it had to be one with hearts on it, but I don't have any, so I hope this is ok. ;) On a piece of white paper I printed the sentiment and I cut it with a tag from the tiny tags from cuttlebug. I used some punched hearts on my tag. Finally I added some black and white ribbon.

Condoleance

Dit is nog een condoleancekaartje die ik moest maken voor een bestelling. Voor mijn kaart heb ik de stempel Daisy bunch van spiral whisper gebruikt. Deze stempel is getekend door Christine Dark die zo mooi kan tekenen en kleuren. Binnenkort gaat ze een digitale stempel shop openen en ik ben erg benieuwd! Ik heb de stempel ingekleurd met een groen caran d'ache potlood. Op de bloemetjes zelf zit witte liquid appliqué. Ik heb het een nachtje laten drogen en daarna met de heatgun laten "opbollen". De afbeelding is uitgesneden en geëmbost met ovalen nestabilities. Op mijn kaart heb ik een strik van groen grosgrain lint gemaakt. De tekst is op de kaart geprint.

This is another sympathy card that I had to make for an order. For my card I used the stamp Daisy bunch from spiral whisper. This stamp has been drawn by Christine Dark and she can draw and color so amazing. She is going to open a digital stamp shop and I can't wait till it opens! I colored the stamp with a green caran d'ache pencil. On the flowers I have put liquid appliqué. I let it dry for a night and then I let it pop with my heatgun. I cut and embossed the image with oval nestabilities. On my card I made a bow from green grosgrain ribbon. I printed the sentiment ( with sympathy) on my card.

The pink and brown-virgin

Het is weer zaterdag en dus weer tijd voor een Penny Black saturday challenge. Deze week is de opdracht om een kaartje in rose en bruin te maken. Ik vind deze kleurencombinatie super, maar durfde het zelf nooit goed aan om er een kaartje mee te maken. Vandaag heb ik toch maar eens geprobeerd en hier is dan mijn eerste rose-bruine kaartje ooit. :)

Het stempeltje van het egeltje en de tekst komt uit het Penny Black clear setje: Hugs! Ik heb de egel ingekleurd met derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine. Met een witte gelpen heb ik wat stipjes op het wangetje getekend. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met cirkel nestabilities. Van rose Bazzil papier heb ik het scalloped cirkeltje en de kaart zelf gesneden. Ik heb weer een mini kaartje van 10 bij 10 centimeter gemaakt. Uit bruin Bazzil papier heb ik een vierkant gesneden en dat heb ik geëembost met de swiss dots van cuttlebug. Ik heb nog een rose satijnen lintje toegevoegd. De drie bloemetjes pasten mooi bij het rose papier. Ik heb de knopjes in de harten een beetje bruin gemaakt met chalk inkt.

It's saturday again and time for another Penny Black saturday challenge. This week you have to make a card with the colors pink and brown. I really love this colorcombination, but I didn't dare to make a card with this combo before. Today I gave it a try and voila here is my first pink- brown card ever. :)

The stamp of the little hedgie and the sentiment stamp are from the clear set Hugs from Penny Black. I colored with derwent pencils and OMS. With a white gelpen I have drawn little dots on the cheek. I cut the image with circle nestabilities. From pink bazzil paper I cut my card and the scalloped circle. This is another mini card again (10 by 10 cm). I cut a square from brown bazzil paper and embossed it with the swiss dots embossing folder. I added a pink satin ribbon. The three little flowers matched really well with the pink paper. I colored the hearts with some brown chalk.

Liefs

Gisteren heb ik dit kleine kaartje gemaakt. Het is 10 bij 10 centimeter groot. Het stempeltje is de flutterby huggabug van Stamping bella. Ik heb het lieveheersbeestje ingekleurd met derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine. Op de vleugels is glitter aangebracht met de clear spica glitter pen. De oogjes zijn aangezet met een zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met een scalloped nestabilitie. Eronder zit een zwarte cirkel. In de witte cirkel heb ik een gaatje geponst en daar een klein strikje van zwart lint doorheen gedaan. Ik heb een kaartje van rood linnen papier genomen en daar de zwarte stippen en de tekst op geprint.

Yesterday I made this little card. It is 10 by 10 cm. The stamp is a flutterby huggabug from Stamping bella. I colored the ladybug with derwent pencils and OMS. I colored her wings with a clear spica glitter pen, so they sparkle really lovely. I colored the eyes with a black glaze pen. I cut the image with a scalloped circle nestabilitie. I added a black circle. I punched a little hole in the white circle and a added a knot from black ribbon. I used a red card with linnen structure and printed the dots and the sentiment ( with love) on it.

Condoleance

Hier is nog een condoleance kaart uit de serie kaarten die ik de laatste dagen aan het maken ben geweest. Voor mijn kaart heb ik de stempel fantasy van Penny Black gebruikt. Ik heb de boom half op een ecru kaart gestempeld met versamark inkt. Daarna ben ik erover heen gegaan met een bronse embossingpoeder. De tekst is geprint op de kaart.

Here is another sympathy card which I have been making the last days. For my card I used the fantasy stamp fom Penny Black. I stamped the tree half on an ecru card with versamark ink. Then I used gold embossing powder. I printed the sentiment on the card.

Condoleance kaart

Er was me gevraagd of ik een paar condoleance kaarten wilde maken voor iemand en dit is er één uit de serie. Ik wil de condoleance kaarten die ik maak altijd erg simpel houden en dat geldt ook zeker voor deze kaart. Ik heb op een ecru kaart de tekst geprint. Ik heb 2 strepen geëmbost en daar tussen een groen lint geplakt. Er overheen is een dunner ecru lint geplakt.

I was asked to make some sympathy cards for someone and this is one of the cards that I have made. I like to keep the sympathy cards that I make always very simple and this cards is certainly very simple. I printed the sentiment on a ecru colored card. I embossed 2 lines on my card and I added a green satin ribbon. On top of the green ribbon I used a ecru ribbon.

Limited supplies

Ik heb gisteren ook nog meegedaan aan de Limited supplies challenge van deze week op SCS. Het thema was deze keer: My favorite things.

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de snowbunnies digitale download van CC. designs. Die zijn op het moment echt wel erg favoriet bij mij. Ik heb met de vierkante nestabilties het rode en witte vierkant gesneden. Het witte vierkant is geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Ik heb nog een kleiner vierkantje gesneden met de nestabilities en van rood papier een rechthoek. De snowbunny heb ik op een los stukje papier geprint en ingekleurd met derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine. Met de zwarte spica glitter pen heb ik nog wat glitter aangebracht. De oogjes zijn weer aangezet met een zwarte glaze pen en met een witte gelpen heb ik wat accentjes op de wangen aangebracht. De tekst is een gedeeltje van een tekststempel van Penny Black. Ik heb er 2 zwarte hotfixsteentjes naast geplaatst.

I made a card with my snowbunnies digital download from CC. Designs. Those cuties are my favorite at the moment. I cut the red and white squares with nestabilitites. I embossed the white one with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. I also cut a rectangle from red paper. I printed my snowbunny on a piece of white paper and colored her with derwent pencils and OMS. I added some glitter with a black spica glitter pen. I colored her eyes with a black glaze pen and with a white gelpen I added some accents on her cheeks. The sentiment is part of a sentiment stamp from Penny Black. I added 2 black hotfix stones.

Nieuwjaarsrolletjes - New years rolls

Na het plaatsen van deze foto op mijn blog kreeg ik al een aantal keer de vraag of ik mijn recept voor de nieuwjaarsrolletjes wilde delen. Bij deze hier is het recept:

Nieuwjaarsrolletjes:

• 200 gram suiker
• 0,25 liter water
• 200 gram patent bloem
• 2 eieren
• 100 gram gesmolten roomboter
• 1/2 tot 1 theelepel kaneel of anijszaadpoeder (Ik gebruik zelf de anijs)

Kook het water en de suiker totdat de suiker helemaal is gesmolten. Laat dit water helemaal afkoelen. Voeg er dan de gezeefde bloem aan toe en daarna de eieren en de gesmolten boter. Doe het kaneel of anijs erbij.
Je moet het beslag meteen verwerken. Zet je wafelijzer aan ( niet te heet) en doe een lepel beslag op je wafelijzer. Als je "pannenkoekje" goed bruin is, haal je hem van het ijzer af en rol je hem om een houten stokje tot een rolletje. Even goed vasthouden zodat hij niet weer uitrolt en dan kan je het stokje verwijderen. Je "pannenkoekje" is dan hard geworden.
Het is erg lekker om ze met slagroom te vullen als je ze gaat eten.
New years rolls

• 200 gram sugar
• 0,25 litre water
• 200 gram patent flour
• 2 eggs
• 100 gram butter (melted)
• ½ or 1 teaspoon cinnamon or aniseed ( I have used aniseed)

Boil the sugar and the water until the sugar is melted. Let the fluid cool down. Add the sieved patent flower, than the eggs, the melted butter and the cinnamon or aniseed.
You must use this batter immediately.
Turn your waffle iron on (not too hot). Put some batter on the waffle iron, when it is really brown, take the “pancake” from the waffle iron and roll it round a wooden stick. After a few seconds you can pull the stick out and the roll will get hard.
It is really nice to fill them with whipped cream when you are going to eat them.

Penny Black challenge 30- Embossing

De eerste Penny Black challenge van dit jaar is er weer en natuurlijk heb ik meegedaan. De opdracht deze keer was om ergens op je kaartje te embossen.

Ik heb eerst op mijn kaartje de blauwe stippen en de tekst geprint. Daarna heb ik van het blauwe linnen papier 4 strookjes gesneden en deze zijn geëmbost met de swiss dots folder van cuttlebug. Het poesje met cadeautje is een Penny Black stempel uit het setje critter party. Ik heb de poes ingekleurd met derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine. Ik heb langs de randen van de stippen nog extra gekleurd met een zwart spica glitter pen. De poes is uitgesneden met de cirkel nestabilities en er is een zwarte scallop cirkel achter geplaatst. De foto van het kaartje is helaas niet heel mooi. Het is erg bewolkt hier. :(

The first Penny Black saturday challenge of this year has started again and offcourse I wanted to play. This week you have to use some embossing on your card.

I started with printing the blue dots and the sentiment on my card. Then I cut 4 strips of the blue linnen paper and I embossed these with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. The little cat is a stamp from the Penny black set Critter party. I colored the cat with derwent pencils and OMS. I added some glitter on the edges of the black dots on the present with a black spica glitter pen. I cut the cat with circle nestabilities and I added a black scalloped circle. My picture doesn't look very good. It is really cloudy over here. :(

Gelukkig nieuwjaar! - Happy new year!

Ik wil iedereen een heel gelukkig 2009 toewensen!!! Ik wil graag iedereen bedanken voor de bezoekjes en commentaren op mijn blog. Ik waardeer het heel erg!!!

Het nieuwe jaar start voor mij met een flinke verkoudheid en dus heb ik vandaag mijn pyjama niet uitgedaan en heb ik een beetje zitten knutselen. Voor oud en nieuw had ik samen met mijn moeder nieuwjaarsrolletjes (heerlijk met slagroom erin!) gebakken voor de jaarwisseling. Ik heb ze in een plastic zakje gedaan en dat met een geruit lintje dichtgemaakt. Daarna heb ik er nog een labeltje aan gehangen. Met word heb ik de tekstcirkel gemaakt en het meisje in de cirkel is een digitale download van CC. designs. Ik heb het meisje ingekleurd met potloden van Bic en geurloze terpentine. Ik heb glitter aangebracht op de witte stukjes van haar kleren. De oogjes zijn nog extra aangezet met een zwarte glaze pen. I heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met mijn cirkel nestabilities.

The new year has started with a bad cold for me and so I have done some crafting with my pyjamas still on. I baked "new years rolls" (lovely if you fill them with whipped cream!) with my mum for new years evening. I put some of them in a plastic bag and closed it with a red gingham ribbon. Then I attached a label on it. With Word I made textcircle with the sentiment: happy new year in dutch. The girl inside the circle is a digital download from CC. designs. I colored her with pencils from Bic and OMS. I added some glitter to the white parts of her clothes. I colored her eyes with a black glaze pen to give them some extra sparkle. I cut the image with my circle nestabilities.
