Goedemorgen, op 1 januari werd mijn neefje Niek 8 jaar oud en natuurlijk heb ik een verjaardagskaart voor hem gemaakt. Zijn lievelingsdier is de krokodil (op dit moment ;) ) en hij vond de schud tag die ik had gemaakt voor kerst heel mooi, dus wist al snel dat ik een schudkaartje wilde maken met een krokodil.
Op mijn kaart heb ik de digitale stempel Birthday gator van Pretty cute stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 van Crealies heb ik uit een stuk karton dat net zo groot is als de voorkant van mijn kaart een rechthoek gesneden. Ik heb hier een stuk mica vel achter geplakt. Op een witte kaart heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Het gras is gemaakt met de Grassy hillside stencils van Lawn fawn en Bamboo leaves inkt van Memento. Op het frame heb ik een tekst geplakt die ik uit oranje karton heb gestanst met de Essentials 355 (SL355) van Studio light. Ik heb het schudgedeelte gevuld met allerlei sequins. Ik heb ook een heleboel 8-en uit rood, oranje, geel, groen en blauw karton gestanst met de Essentials 359 ( SL359) en Essentials 358 (SL358) van Studio light en die heb ik ook als schudmateriaal gebruikt. Ik heb het frame met een dubbele laag foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik de krokodil op mijn kaart geplakt. Niek was erg blij met zijn kaart. :)
Goodmorning, on the first of january my nephew Niek celebrated his 8th birthday and I made him a birthday card. His favourite animal is a crocodile at the moment and he really loved the shaker tag I made for him for christmas, so I knew I had to make a shakercard with a crocodile.
On my card I have used the digital stamp Birthday gator from Pretty cute stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the image. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies I have cut a rectangle from a panel of white cardstock that has the same size as the front of my card. I glued a sheet of mica behind the opening. On a white card I have made a cloudy background with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. The grass was made with the Grassy hillside stencils from Lawn fawn and Bamboo leaves ink from Memento. On the frame I have placed a birthday sentiment that I have cut from orange cardstock with the Essentials 355 (SL355) from Studio light. The shakercard is filled with sequins and a lot of number 8's. I have cut those from red, orange, yellow, green and blue cardstock with the Essentials 359 ( SL359) and Essentials 358 (SL358) from Studio light. I have glued the frame on the card with a double layer of foamtape and then I glued the crocodile on the card. Niek loved his card. :)
