As you like it challenge 216 - Circles or squares

 

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Crafty ribbons. We willen deze keer graag weten wat je liever op je kaarten gebruikt: vierkanten of cirkels. Ik maak meestal vierkante of rechthoekige kaarten maar voor mijn afbeeldingen gebruik ik graag cirkels. Ik heb deze vormen op deze kaart samen gecombineerd.

Ik heb een halloween slimline kaart gemaakt met de stempelset BB Fab-BOO-lous friends and matching dies van My favorite things. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb alle afbeeldingen uitgestanst met de dies die bij de stempelset horen.

Met de Slimline C met ruwe randen (CLCZ183) van Crealies heb ik een slimline kaart gemaakt van oranje karton. Ik vond de oranje kleur van mij kaart nog niet helemaal goed, dus ik heb de kaart gekleurd met Carved pumpkin Distress ink. De zwarte en witte laag karton die op de kaart zitten heb ik gestanst met de Slimline K met kleine streepjes (CLCZ191) van Crealies. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van het witte karton gedoodled. Op het witte karton heb ik met behulp van de Blendingstencils set B, 4x vierkant, gladde en ruwe randen van Crealies een aantal cirkels geblend. Ik heb hiervoor Wilted violet, Mowed lawn, Carved pumpkin en Black soot Distress inkt gebruikt. Zo hebben alle afbeeldingen een leuke achtergrond waardoor ze goed opvallen. Uit zwart karton heb ik de tekst Boo gestanst met de Thin alphabet (D190603) van Gummiapan en daarna heb ik de tekst op een oranje cirkel geplakt. Ik heb alle afbeeldingen met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Uit zwart karton heb ik met de Star confetti die van Alexandra Renke een aantal kleine sterretjes gestanst en die heb ik op de kaart geplakt.

This challenge we want to know what you prefer to use on your cards: Squares or circles. For my card bases I most of the time use squares or rectangles, but for my images I like to use circles, because of the softer look. I have combined both shapes on my card today.

I have made a halloween slimline card with the stamp set BB Fab-BOO-lous friends and matching dies from My favorite things. I have coloured all the images with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have cut all the images with the matching dies for the stamp set.

With the Slimline C met ruwe randen (CLCZ183) from Crealies I have made a slimline card from orange cardstock. I wasn't satisfied with the colour of my cardstock, so I coloured it with Carved pumpkin Distress ink . The black and white layer are bit cut with dies from the set Slimline K met kleine streepjes (CLCZ191) from Crealies. With a black fineliner I have doodled a line on the white layer. On the white cardstock I have blended a couple of circles in different sizes with the help of the Blendingstencils set B, 4x vierkant, gladde en ruwe randen from Crealies. I have used Wilted violet, Mowed lawn, Carved pumpkin and Black soot Distress ink for the circles. That way all the images have a nice background. I glued all the images with foamtape on the card. From black cardstock I have cut the word Boo with the Thin alphabet dies (D190603) from Gummiapan and then I glued the word on an orange circle. I have die-cut a couple of little stars from black cardstock with the Star confetti die from Alexandra Renke and then I glued them on the card.
