De krokodillenkus (Crocodile kiss) challenge from Niek, Menno and aunty Lissie. ;)

Goedemorgen, vandaag heb ik een blogpost met heel veel kaarten. Een tijdje geleden kwamen mijn neefjes een nachtje logeren en dan moet er ook geknutseld worden. Menno heeft tijdens zijn nachtje logeren 1 kaartje gemaakt en kleine broer Niek heeft er zelfs 4 gemaakt (ik post ze later op mijn blog). Niek wilde ook heek graag wat stempelafdrukjes mee naar huis om zelf verder mee te knutselen en dan vooral afdrukjes van zijn lievelingsdier de krokodil. Toen ik de afdrukjes samen met hem aan het maken was ontstond het idee voor de krokodillen kus uitdaging. We zouden allemaal een kaartje maken met deze lieve krokodillen en dan naar elkaar sturen. Om te voorkomen dat iemand anders onze post zou openen, zouden we dan het woord krokodillen kus op de envelop zetten. ;)

Goodmorning, today I am posting a blogpost with lots of cards. A while ago my nephews stayed over for a night and we did some crafting. Menno made one card during his sleepover and little brother Niek made 4 cards (I will post those cards later). Niek wanted to take some stamped images home so he could craft a bit more and he really wanted to have some crocodiles. When we were making the stamped images, we thought about doing a Crocodile kiss challenge. We all made a card with these sweet crocodiles and would post it then. On the envelope we all added the word Crocodile kiss, to make sure nobody else would open the envelopes. ;)

Ik heb beide kaartjes ongeveer gelijk gemaakt. Voor beide kaarten heb ik de stempelset Later alligator (retired) van Neat and tangled gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen uitgestanst met de bijpassende dies.

I made both cards almost the same. For both cards I have used the stampset Later alligator (retired) from Neat and tangled. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have die-cut all the images with the matching dies.

Ik heb met maskerpapier de kaart verdeeld in een lucht gedeelte, gras en water. Voor de lucht heb ik het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things met Tumbled glass distress inkt gebruikt. Uit een stuk wit karton heb ik wat golven gestanst met de Ocean view creatables (LR0664) van Marianne design en daarna heb ik alle water-delen gekleurd met Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Ik heb deze kleur inkt ook gebruikt om kleine verfspatjes te maken op alle water-delen. Met een witte gelpen heb ik nog wat accentjes getekend op de golven. Ik heb de golven met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en ik heb één van de krokodillen tussen de golven geplakt. Het gras is gekleurd met Mowed lawn distress inkt. Ik heb daarna een aantal bomen uit wit karton gestanst met de Trees by Marleen craftables (CR1483) van Marianne design en daarna heb ik deze bomen gekleurd met Mowed lawn, Peeled paint, Twisted citron, Pine needles en Crushed olive Distress inkt. Ik heb de bomen op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik alle afbeeldingen met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Met de Little lowercase letters die-namics van My favorite things heb ik de namen van de jongens uit wit karton gestanst en daarna heb ik ze op de kaart geplakt. 

I have used masking paper to divide the card in 3 different parts, the air, the grass and the water. For the sky I used the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. I have die-cut some waves from white cardstock with the Ocean view creatables (LR0664) from Marianne design and then I coloured all the water-parts with Peacock feathers Distress ink. I used the same ink to add tiny paint splatters on the water-parts. I also added some accents on the waves with a white gelpen and then I glued them with foamtape on the card and glued one of the crocodiles between the waves. The grass is coloured with Mowed lawn distress ink. I have die-cut a couple of trees from white cardstock with the Trees by Marleen craftables (CR1483) from Marianne design and then I coloured those with Mowed lawn, Peeled paint, Twisted citron, Pine needles and Crushed olive Distress ink. I glued the trees on the card and then I added all the images with foamtape. With the Little lowercase letters die-namics from My favorite things I have die-cut the names of the boys from white cardstock and glued it on the card.
