As you like it 122 - Your favourite die

As you like it challenge blog.

Today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog. This time we would love to see your favourite dies and you have to tell us why it is your favourite die. We are being sponsored by Lawn fawn. The lucky winner will win a 25 doller voucher for their shop! My favourite dies are all my basic shapes dies from Crealies, especially the ones with a stitched or dotted edge. The basic shapes are really easy to use. I use them on almost all my cards. The stitched or dotted edge gives the card a nice finishing touch. It just looks really good.

I made a card with the stampset Love letters from Lawn fawn. I stamped a couple of the images and then I coloured them with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut all the images. From white cardstock I have die-cut a square with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 from Crealies. I made a hearty background on it with the Sticky stencil St St 04 from Crealies (retired) and Versafine clair ink Charming pink. I die-cut a scalloped sqaure from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 54 from Crealies. The first part of the sentiment is stamped on a strip of white cardstock and I adhered it with foamtape on the card. I also used foamtape to adhere all the images on the card and then I stamped a little ink spot on the card with black ink.

STAMP: Love letters from Lawn fawn
COLORING MEDIUM: Polychromos pencils
PAPER: White cs
INK: Versafine onyx black, Versafine clair ink Charming pink
DIES: Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 and 54 from Crealies

  12. Awwww! What an absolutely charming little card! I love the color palette and the subtle hearts in the background. I also really admire your coloring skills because the birdies, letter and inkwell look so dimensional! It was a darling touch to add the splat of ink, too! This is delightful and I'm so glad you shared it with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
