Tiddly Inks challenge - Summer song

Goedemorgen, today a new challenge starts on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog. Our challenge this time is Summer song. You have to pick a summersong and use that song as inspiration for your card. I have picked the song Summertime from DJ Jazzy Jeff and The fresh prince. Just because the song makes me happy and when I hear it I start thinking about, Sun, sea, beach and swimming. So that is why I used the image Wryn just keep swimming from Tiddly Inks on my card. I colored Wryn with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut her out, that was a nice job with all those hairs. ;) I have cut a square out of water color paper with a die from the Blueprints 14 van My favorite things. I made a water background on it with some watercolor paints. The sentiment is a rub-on that I bought at a Dutch store. The sequins are also from a Dutch shop and they are a perfect match for the water background.

I want to enter this card in the following challenges:

  14. Fabulous card, Larissa. Perfect summer feeling card and I love your inked background. As mentioned by my teamies we prefer to see a little more white space on our entries but I love the crisp clean stitched edge to your colourful panel.
