Tiddly Inks challenge - Frosty feeling

Goedemorgen, hier ben ik weer met mijn kaartje voor de Tiddly Inks challenge van deze week. Eigenlijk moest ik hem gisteren al posten, maar de stroom was hier uitgevallen en daarna werkte mijn internet ook niet, dus het is me niet gelukt om mijn kaartje op tijd af te krijgen.
Deze week is de challenge Frosty feelings. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding Snowy wishes and snowman van Tiddly Inks. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. De achtergond van de kaart heb ik gemaakt door eerst met de Snowfall bg stempel van My favorite things te stempelen met versamark inkt. Daarna heb ik de achtergrond geëmbost met witte embossingspoeder.  Met een inkt distress tool heb ik daarna de lucht gekleurd met Stormy sky distress inkt. Ik ben er niet zo goed in en meestal krijg ik harde vlekken. Vandaag was ik alleen heel blij met die vlekken, daardoor lijkt de lucht nog veel mooier..hihi. Ik heb uit wit papier een heuveltje gesneden met de Borderline trio - Creative cuts from Mama elephant. Ik heb hierop een tekst gestempeld met de stempelset Stampssl018 van Studio light. Hiermee is het dan ook meteen mijn allereerste kerstkaartje van dit jaar geworden. :)

Goodmorning, here I am with my card for this weeks Tiddly Inks challenge. I should have posted it yesterday, but I lost power in my home when I was goign to emboss my card and after that I also lost my internetconnection for a while, so my card wasn't finished in time.
This weeks challenge is Frosty feelings, I amde a card with the image Snowy wishes and snowman from Tiddly Inks. I colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen. Then I cut the image out. The background of the card is made by stamping with the Snowfall bg stamp from My favorite things with versamark ink. Then I embossed the background with white embossingpowder. I colored the sky with a distress tool with Stormy sky distress ink. Normally I am not a big star in coloring backgrounds with a distress tool and I always get a stained look. Today I was really happy with the stains, they make a perfect sky. :) I have a snowy hill out of white cardstock with a die from the Borderline trio - Creative cuts from Mama elephant. I stamped a sentiment from the set Stampssl018 from Studio light on it. And that made it the first chrsitmas card in 2015 :)
