Double Dutch 41 - Box it up!

Goedemiddag allemaal!

Hello everyone! Yesterday I made this box for the new challenge on the Double dutch challenge blog. You can find the template of the box on the challenge blog and you have to use it to make a creation. I used my new magnolia's on my box, I bought them last week at a craft show and I believe they are from a new collection that will come out in may. On the front of the box I have used an image from Tilda in the normal size. She was coloured with derwent and caran d'ache pencils. Her eyes are coloured with a black glaze pen. I used a clear spica glitter pen to colour her sweater and the flowers Tilda is holding. After I coloured Tilda I cut her out and I used foamtape to mount her on the box. I didn't use foamtape behind her head, otherwise I couldn't close the box. The box was made from a combination of pink gingham and dotted paper.

On the other side of the box I used a label that I made with my nestabilities. I doodled on it with a black fineliner and on some places I went over the doodling with my pink pencil. On the label I placed a mini magnolia. This one was also coloured with derwent and caran d'ache pencils. The flowers were made with a retro flower punch. I coloured the flowers first with a clear spica glitter pen and then I shaped them with a brush and my fingers. In the middle I placed a pink hotfix stone. The sentiment is from a stampset from Elzybells. I have placed a white ribbon on the lid and I made a bow for the front of the box
