DU2DS 17 - Sketch

Goedemorgen allemaal!

Goodmorning everyone! It's friday again and we have a new challenge for you from Dare U 2 Digi Stamp. This week we have a sketch that I designed. :) My teamies have made some lovely cards, so please take a look at the blog. I used for my card a part of the Poppies image from Christine Dark (Sketchingtamper). I colored the poppies with derwent and caran d'ache pencils and then I cut it out with the circle nestabilities. I wanted to have some embossed dots on my card, but I could not use the swiss dots embossingfolder because it was too large for my card. I used my old light box and the swiss dots folder and embossed them with my stylus by hand. That way I could use part of the folder. It were a lot of dots, but I like the result. The organza ribbon matches really well with the colors of the card.
IMAGE: Poppies from Christine Dark (Sketchingstamper). CS: White cs, bazzil paper. ACCESSORIES: Derwent and caran d'ache pencils, organza ribbon, swiss dots embossing folder, circle nestabilities.

  4. A really beautiful card Larissa and thank you for a great sketch to work with, I loved it and I hope we can see a few more of them in the future if you get a chance :D. Great creativity with using just part of the image and your colouring enhances it perfectly. I also love how you did your embossing, I would never have thought to do that, such a great idea and I will give that a try. Thank you as always for the links you always give to my images, I really appreciate it. Hugs, Chris x
